I was very disappointed with this experience and airBnB. I did not feel the photos matched the actual flat. It was dark and not cosy. The most disappointing part was to arrive and the flat was freezing and the heating was not working. I rang the company and they confirmed that their house keeping had also reported this. It was a horrible experience as this was meant to be a gift to my partner and we had to find emergency accommodation also late in the evening.

The property was unclean, with spider webbs, with obvious dust above the dressing table mirror. The bathroom had a bad smell. There were no instructions on how to join Wii Fii at the property, and they were not at the place where they were meant to be. This took me a while to locate after communication with the host. There was no obvious bedding for the sofa bed and no instructions anywhere where this could be found. No hot water at the property leading me to leave a day before check out. This was a Christmas stay for us as a family, and unfortunately, this experience affected us a lot and ruined the festive period.

Decent flat, but was expecting slightly higher standard for what was paid. Not quite as well-kept as pictured. Bathroom sink didn’t drain, no shower gel or shampoo provided, hand wash and washing liquid hadn’t been refilled sufficiently, had to buy more toilet roll as only one roll provided. Good location, just expected higher standard for the price.
