This apartment seemed to be perfect for a very special family holiday reunion, until the day we checked in and learned there would be a 4 person construction crew working on the other side of the wall from us for 3 days out of our 7 day rental. What should have been a happy family time was spoiled when we literally could not hear each other talking above the sound of drilling into concrete. At 8am the day after Christmas, the drilling started again. On another day, the crew uncovered the kitchen window and stared at us through the glass while we made our breakfast. The local agents did their best, but Sea N Rent's owners should have told us in advance about the situation and given us the choice to stay or cancel the reservation. I can only assume that they didn't want to lose money and they didn't care about upsetting visitors from another country. Our complaints resulted in a small refund: just 7% of the total rental fee. I really hope that this review prompts the owners to improve.

Our family of 7, 5 adult and 2 kids, enjoyed our stay! We had plenty of space for all of us and the location was perfect for us to see Florence, get to the train station, shop and eat at great restaurants without walking too far or needing to take trains/taxis to get around the city. My 78 yo FIL had no issues with the stairs or short walking distance which was great. The Wi-Fi did not work well in the bedrooms but was good in the living and dining rooms. The terrace was great and we enjoyed it every evening! Beds were comfy and A/C worked great (it was hot in Florence) & this was a must for our family. We would definitely stay here again & loved that a grocery store was very close by as well as walking distance to the great restaurants we had ( 4 Leoni, Osteria Pepo, L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele, and Badiani gelato). Dinner at Il Nutino on our street too which the family enjoyed and was basically on our doorstep! The keypad entry was perfect to allow us to get in&out! Perfect stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this spacious and well-located apartment in the heart of Florence. It was perfect for our group of six, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. The terrace and its spectacular view were absolute highlights—truly a special place to take in the city. The bedding was comfortable, and the apartment was well-equipped for a great stay. Only two downsides for us: 1. The front-facing bedrooms can be noisy, but that’s expected in such a central location. One of the bedrooms in the back connects directly to another - so best for kids. 2. The WiFi was quite spotty and slow. In one or two rooms, it wasn’t able to connect, which was unfortunate. I’ll also call out that one of the bedrooms must be entered through another bedroom (there isn’t a separate entrance to that one) —just a good thing to know before booking. Overall though, an excellent choice for anyone wanting to be in the middle of Florence with unbeatable views!

this home is right in the middle of the action in Firenze, we felt like locals. lots of restaurants within 50 metres, and overall friendly and good vibe neighbourhood. the home is listed accurately for all aspects and the host is very accommodative and responsive super fast. home also feels warm and welcoming in all aspects; there is adequate space and rooms are well designed. i would come back and stay here if i came to Florence again

We stayed in this beautiful apartment with a group of ten people. Each room was spacious, well-furnished, and very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped and perfectly suited for the number of guests. The dining room, reading area, children's space, and the stunning terrace overlooking the rooftops of Florence made our experience unforgettable. The house is located in the city center, just two minutes from the Duomo and a short walk from the train station, making it the perfect choice for spending unforgettable days in an extraordinary city. I would easily stay here for a month. Huge apartment, lovely hardwood floors throughout, in an older traditional building in Florence. Right in the center. Lots to like - plenty of space, large, generously sized rooms, clean and tidy with good beds and pillows, nice linens, full kitchen, small terrace plus a large, rooftop terrace which you access thru a positively medieval staircase - very cool. Francesca was a responsive host and always got back to me quickly. Once the HW was not coming on, Francesca was there in 20 minutes to restore hot showers. As some people point out, the front bedrooms (there are 2 front bedrooms and 2 back, all are large and spacious) are noisy, as they face the street, but also you can pull in the Italian window shutters at night which cuts down the noise about 50%. You're going to hear noise in the front bedrooms but you're on an ancient cobblestone street. The back bedrooms (one with a loft and private bath) are quiet. Great overall.

We really enjoyed staying here as it was in the middle of everything with easy access to the Santa Maria del Fiore duomo, shopping at the Vecchio Bridge, and lots of places to eat. It was great to be only a 10 minute walk to the Uffizi. We would stay here again if we came back to Florence.

Wonderful location close to Duomo and everything in town. Charming apartment well laid out for a large group. Responsible and responsive owner. The patio is not that useful as the seats are not very comfortable. There are some bugs at night as my son woke up with bites. Would be nice to have more towels and amenities. Also the front facing bedrooms are loud from the street as the windows dont close perfectly tight.

The location of the Airbnb is very convenient but with the convenience comes quite a bit of street noise especially for the front two bedrooms. The unit itself is large enough to accommodate a big party but could use some updating, especially the bathrooms. There were some issues with electricity and WiFi but that can be expected in a building of that age. Francesca was overall pretty responsive and accommodated a slightly later checkout. In summary, it’s a convenient place for large groups but lacks some of the nicer amenities. I would recommend but with some of the caveats mentioned above.

Spacious and well-located mid-range apartment priced appropriately. Recommend for adult groups due to apartment floorplan. Air fresheners in the bathrooms will go a long way to help your stay. We are grateful Management let us leave our bags until noon for our scheduled train, but this may be one of your more rigidly enforced 10am checkout experiences.

Great location and in the heart of the city… be careful if you have large luggage- it’s hard to get close (pedestrian only area) and when you arrive it’s difficult to get your bags up all the steps and through the 3 sets of locks.. internet only worked in main part of house (repeater not working), hair dryer and plug pulled out, locks malfunctioned a few times leaving a number of us waiting a a few occasions in the stairwell for another guest to show up- very frustrating.. the unit is a bit tired and sparsely furnished ..one of the rooms is up a very narrow spiral staircase down to the bathroom- very dangerous wandering down at night to use the restroom. One of the showers like being in a small plastic tube ..although not atypical of properties in Italy- I would image it would be very hard to shower if you are a large person, washer/dryer nice to have.. Local person that helped us at the property was helpful. Overall not great value considering the price we paid.

Perfect position overlooking the busy street full of other tourists and restaurants, we could just walk to everywhere we wanted. The house is very well cleaned, it has a beautiful huge kitchen with all the utensils which we used to cook for a meal, and the whole design is very a cozy. It also had a staircase leading to the roof where we could overlook the town see the sun.

What an incredible spot right in the heart of Florence. Steps to shopping, the sites and great food. We walked to the train station in less than 10 minutes. The apartment is spacious - we were a family of 5 and easily could have had another family with us and not felt crowded. The host was in touch, helpful and made us feel right at home. The rooftop terrace is absolutely stunning! (There are a lot of stairs - no problem for us, but anyone with mobility issues or unable to carry luggage will find this not ideal). Hope to be back!

Especially has a house that feels thoughtfully arranged, a lot of items are of high quality, we really loved the house so much that we spent half a day in Florence for two days to stay in the house and on the roof, the view from the terrace is beautiful, the location is fantastic, it is the cathedral of Notre Dame Flower, the steak shop downstairs has a long queue, we can eat it downstairs, Sea also sent us red wine, everything was wonderful, highly recommended

The apartment in Florence was beautiful. Lots of space with a wonderful rooftop patio to enjoy a glass of wine after a day of walking around Florence. Upon arrival we discovered the washing machine was not working, but our hosts were very responsive and actually installed a new washer during our stay, so it shouldn’t be a problem for future guests. Great location. Overall, a wonderful stay.

Three couples traveling Italy and this space was great. And impeccably clean. Right in the heart of the worlds most beautiful city. Stairs weren’t awful though older adults or mobility challenged might find them difficult with luggage, comfy beds, two bathrooms were adequate and manageable and we felt completely safe here. The hosts were amazing and readily available. Loved loved loved hearing the duomo bells ringing in the morning.

Sea N Rent was an immaculate, charmingly beautiful building well-insulated from the noise of the city. It’s spacious, has two balconies and great views. The location can’t be beat with restaurants, pharmacies, shopping, The Duomo and other historic attractions all within minutes. There are several flights of stairs so you have to be able to climb but if you can negotiate them the privacy, quiet and views are worth it. Highly recommend!

This place was incredible! The location was perfect! Literally a 2 minute walk to the Duomo and about 10-15 min to the Uffizi in one direction and the Accademia in the other direction. There are so many restaurants, gelato spots, coffee bars, etc in walking distance. There is a market a few shops down if you plan to buy groceries and cook. We did not use the kitchen for cooking any meals but it seemed to be well equipped if you were planning to do so. We traveled with a group of 8 and this apartment was plenty big for all of us. The bedrooms were mostly spread out; there are 2 bedrooms close to the front door that are pretty private. The other 3 rooms are clustered in the back of the apartment with little privacy - one of the rooms is accessed by going through another room. We did not find this to be a problem, but just something to consider if you’re looking for more privacy. We had 7 women so another bathroom would have been helpful (there are just 2) but we made it work. 10/10!

The apartment is located right in the heart of Florence. We enjoyed take away dinners on the terrace while listening to the bells of the nearby Duomo followed by watching the sunset...magical. All the signts are within walking distance which is great. The apartment is spacious and as beautiful in person as it is in the photos.

Amazing spot in the heart of Florence! It is literally a 2 minute walk to the Duomo and only ~15 minutes to other main attractions. The place was spacious and inviting. All of our guests had their own rooms/space, and we used the common livingroom and dining room regularly. The kitchen was well equipped and worked for a private chef we hired to come cook for us one night. When we first arrived the hot water needed to be turned on (it was impacted by a bad storm), and the host was super responsive and quick to fix it. I'm not sure if there is a cat that typically lives there, as there's a pet door and pet hair (not a ton), so my allergies were rough, but these were small details. They also provided a crib and highchair for our daughter, which was beyond helpful. Overall, I would absolutely recommend this property for anyone looking to stay in Florence, and I would absolutely book it again if we return!

The apartment was great in how spacious it was, and a few rooms were absolutely lovely, like the dining room, the living area and front bedroom. Location makes it very convenient, and the rooftop is a real treat. When we arrived, one of the bedrooms was so covered in dust, I had to start wiping it down. Then we found trash and cigarettes on a patio. I messaged and the cleaning person came and re-cleaned parts of the apartment, which was appreciated. The back bedrooms had mosquitos, and our family was all bit up after the first night of sleep. Overall, if you’re traveling with a big group, this is a good apartment, but it lacked the “polish” of other places we’ve stayed.

Location Location Location....and a gorgeous rooftop deck overlooking Basilica di San Lorenzo. This apartment was absolutely fabulous - plenty of creature comforts while oozing old world charm. 100 steps away is the Duomo or (100 in the other direction) Basilica di San Lorenzo. Plenty of nearby restaurants (we had wonderful meals at Giannino's next door), 2 grocery stores for goodies and THE BEST coffee shop 100 steps away. This place is the perfect hub to enjoy Florence's best. Thank you to Francesca for bring such a lovely hostess and making our experience flawless.

Amazing flat in a great location. Everything is walkable from here, as it's right in the city centre. We were a group of six, so we made good use of the many bedrooms, the central living room area, and the great terrace. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use the kitchen and dining room, but they looked fantastic. To note is that it was loud until very late due to the restaurants, and again from very early due to the street cleaning. As we were here to enjoy ourselves it didn't bother us. But do keep it in mind if you're looking for a quiet place.

I cannot stress enough how perfect the location is. <10 minute walk from the train station, and also very close to all of the other main attractions in Florence! It is located on a busy street with lots of shops & restaurants, and with that comes some noise but it was overall not unbearable and closing the shudders helped a lot. I came with a group of 10 girls, and there was plenty of space for all of us. The photos don’t show just how big the apartment is. The host was also very accommodating and quick to respond, and even allowed us to leave our luggage in the apt for a few hours after checkout so that we didn’t have to carry it around. We also felt very safe in the building, and the decor and terrace upstairs was so beautiful. The only “con” is that you have to go up 2 stories of stairs, but it’s so worth it. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

All I can say is that our apartment was perfect for our family stay during the Christmas holidays. We couldn’t be happier. The apartment was spacious, clean, well decorated, cozy… etc. The location was perfect. Truly felt like home. All 6 of us had plenty of space and privacy. You can absolutely have more people than that if you choose. The only detail I would say that becomes just a little tricky, Is just having 2 bathrooms. We are a close family, so it didn’t affect us… at all. Point is it potentially can for groups of couples | friends etc. We truly loved our stay. Thank You to the great team that made booking easy, answered all of our questions promptly, went out of their way to get us a sweet Christmas tree and holiday plants. Wonderful apartment walking distance to everything. Duomo is literally around the corner. We stayed with family of 4 plus grandparents and had wonderful time. The place is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The rooftop is a great bonus. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and will be back❤️

Truly amazing apartment in an amazing location. Only hard a block from the Duomo and 5 min walk to Ponte Vecchio. The Academy where Michelangelo's David is housed is also 5 minutes away. The restaurant below the apartment Il Nutino has great food, including the best pizza and calzones outside if Naples. Make sure to ask for Salvatore and tell him Armando sent you. There is Supermarket 2 minute away where you can get water, drinks, bread, and just about everything and have a great meal of your own either indoors or the rooftop deck. Central Florence Market is also 5 minutes walk away where you can get fresh fruits and veggies. Central train station is 10 min walk. I truly cannot overemphasize how great the location and the apartment is. The only downside would be if you have mobility issues and cannot go up 3 flights of stairs. There is no elevator.

This flat is perfectly located in Florence. Turn right out of the flat and in 20 seconds you’re at the “Duomo”; turn left and in 20 seconds from the Basilica Di San Lorenzo. It’s also a short walk to the Ponte Vecchio as well as the museum that has the David statue. The flat has a rooftop sitting area which is perfect to see the cathedrals and enjoy a glass of wine with family or friends. The flat has air conditioning throughout which helps when it’s really hot outside. (It should be noted that some rooms cool off more easily than others in the flat but overall it was good.) The owners were great to work with as well. Definitely would stay here again should we return to Florence.

Stayed 4 nights with 6 people and had more than enough room. The apartment is enormous! Has comfortable living room to decompress after long days of exploring Florence. Location couldn't be better. Check in was easy. Communication was great. We were very happy with the stay and would recommend highly.

This apartment was fantastic! The location and price are simply unbeatable, and everything was clean and charming. The beds were very comfortable. It is a four story walk up, which is something important to note. There’s a washing machine but no dryer, so on rainy days (which is what we had) we couldn’t do laundry. We would have enjoyed some clean towels. It is also important to note that it is a busy area and is loud at night. Earplugs made this stay very comfortable!

Amazing location steps from the Duomo. The apartment is incredibly spacious with both a rooftop terrace and main story smaller outside space. Rooms are all a great size, air conditioning works great. So nice to have a washing machine as well. There’s a grocery store just outside to stock up on snacks as well as restaurants, gelato shops and shopping. The host Francesca was great and met us there for check in. I would definitely stay here again. Would note it is 2 long flights of stairs up so if mobility is an issue I would not stay. But other than that this is a great space!!!

This place was incredible. It’s an old historical house and it is huge charming and perfectly Located . House like this might give some problems some times but Francesca was very helpful to solve them all and we ho early loved our stay as it was so much to share this experience with the whole family. The terrace is WOW!!! I cannot wait to be back when the weather gets warmer !

The apartment is far beyond my expectation!! Daniele who is the check-in helper is really a nice person, we arrived around noon and he is really kind to let us put our luggage in so that we can start our journey earlier~The kitchen is my most favorite, with all the cooking utensile one can imagine. The space is quite big with a lovely penthouse balcony. Me and my friends spend 2 great days in this apartment and I would recommend it to others. It is of high performance cost ratio if you are travelled to Firenze in a big group of people.

Perfect location, and a small rooftop to feel the Florence vibe. A lot of stairs and it is right above busy streets so it can get noisy. Sometimes smells delicious food from restaurants below. We enjoyed our stay with a big group.

The photos of the beds and rooms are unfortunately wrong. Our group was coming from our wedding and we arranged it based on the amount of beds and rooms in the description. When we arrived to find that they were very inaccurate and instead of 6 bedrooms there were actually only 4.5 we were very disappointed. We wrote to them and we’re reimbursed 300euro, but unfortunately that didn’t cover the cost of the hotel our guests had to pay for when they realized they couldn’t stay with us anymore. Very disappointing.

Highly recommend this apartment, totally suitable for a large family or group of friends. Nothing to say, except that the two bathrooms, clean and functional, are a little old-fashioned.

Scott was a great host and easy to communicate with. His apartment is fantastic as well. It is probably 3,000 sq ft - very big. It also has a lot of charm and authenticity. The photos correctly reflect how the apartment feels. Because of the central location, the front two bedrooms are noisy late at night, but using earplugs solves the issue. I highly recommend experiencing Venice through Scott’s apartment!

Perfectly located apartment at the foot of Duomo. Small terrace on the roofs of splendid Florence accessible by a slightly stolen place. Modern kitchen in character apartment. Nothing very negative to say, especially given the price during this Covid period. Maybe a little low-end bathrooms for such a beautiful apartment. But it's cheating. Definitely recommend. Wine cellars, covered market, Duomo, Painting galleries, Ponte Vecchio, trattoria, department stores, everything is a 5-minute walk...

The apartment was great and the location was amazing. Scott was a wonderful host and very responsive. If you are a light sleeper, you should sleep in the back two bedrooms as it can be loud at night in the front two but that comes with the central location of the apartment. The apartment had great space and was very clean. We loved our stay and would definitely stay their again. Thank you!!

Excellent location near many great shops, restaurants and sights truly in the heart of Florence. The apartment is large with all expected amenities. The terrace is beautiful with a great view and all rooms are stylish. The host made small touches to be extra welcoming such as putting up a Christmas tree! We would highly recommend the stay! To note, as it is centrally located and on a busier street, we do recommend earplugs as it’s loud at night with partygoers. For us, the location was worth the noise! Also only one bathroom was working during our stay which was a bit inconvenient.

Amazing location, Huge apartments. Great host who refunded us after we made a mistake with the dates. Very clean and well organized apartment. A few points: 1.AC in several rooms. 2. Hearing is working great. 3. One bathroom and toilet is accessible only when you enter from one room 4. The terrace is very nice but is not comfortable for access (small hallway and stairs). 5. The TV is not so big. 6. Second floor with no elevator (not so bad).

Scott's place lived up the description, photos, and then some. The apartment was very stylish and more importantly clean. There were six of us in our group, and the size of the apartment was perfect. Everyone felt as though he/she had enough room for alone and together time. The location of the apartment was fantastic. We were able to walk all over the city from our central location, and we felt like we were part of the local city action. When I return to Florence, I will certainly inquire about staying at Scott's again.

Ideal spot for a group to enjoy Florence to the fullest. It's just steps from the Duomo, with incredible views of Florence from the rooftop. The location could mot be more perfect, with wine shops, restaurants, everything you need just downstairs! Not to mention the beautiful apartment itself, which is truly idyllic. Would absolutely stay here again!!
