On this trip, I took my 3-year-old child and my parents, and the five of us visited four cities: Rome and Florence in Italy, and Venice and Barcelona in Spain. We all used Airbnb, but this place was the most satisfying. Above all, Damien's kindness, thoughtfulness and prompt responses were outstanding. The location of the accommodation was within walking distance of famous places like the Sagrada Família! The accommodation was also clean, and everything was satisfactory—it was a great place to stay in Barcelona^^

We loved our stay at Damien’s apartment. Spacious, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Damien is really friendly and super responsive, he replied to our questions within minutes. Check-in was a breeze. We were given several coupons for free coffee and a light breakfast treat at the cafe across the street, which we used daily, a wonderful little luxury to start the day with. Definitely check out the roof terrace, it’s beautiful! Finally, can’t say enough great things about the neighborhood! L’Eixample is beautiful, the architecture is amazing, tons of great bars, cafe’s & restaurants, and walkable to so many cool places and attractions in Barcelona (also several metro stations, bus lines and easy to grab taxis!). Would absolutely stay in Damien’s flat on our next trip to Barcelona, highest recommendation! (PS: shout out to Ignacio, the building manager [?], so friendly and helpful, a lovely guy).

Wonderful apartment in a fantastic location a few blocks from three metro stations (Girona, Verdaguer, and Passeig de Gracia). Plenty of cafes, bars, and restaurants in all directions. Apartment is comfortable. Beds don’t look comfy in the pics but they are restful foam mattresses. Overall, would rent again. The apartment is not luxurious but is a fantastic choice if you are (as we were) really just there to sleep and shower.

Damien explained that this apartment had only one AC unit. Because we arrived during a heat wave, he moved us to another apartment on the same floor (3-2), and got us a powerful ventilator. We survived the heat wave. the place was spacious. the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped. the bedrooms are overlooking the beautiful roof of the market and a church on the other side. very pretty. the place is close (almost across the street) to the Turris bakery which has the best croissants and breads. we enjoyed our stay and will gladly rent this again.

Apartment has 3 same size bedrooms and a huge living room.. Kitchen has all necessary amenities if you plan to cook. But we didn’t . There’s a dishwasher and washer which is very convenient. The hosts provide detergent too. Bathrooms and kitchen are outdated but were clean and everything was working fine . Very good communication with hosts, good customer service . The main advantage was GREAT CENTRAL AC! This is what we mostly cared about. During summer it gets hot and humid and it was very comfortable in ALL the rooms. Staying in Barcelona you must have air conditioning. Otherwise it will be miserable. Overall good and positive experience.

Damien was a fantastic host—very responsive and accommodating in every possible way. The only downside was that the upstairs neighbors were quite noisy at night, which made it difficult to sleep. Damien addressed our concern promptly, but due to the thin walls, the noise was still noticeable but its not his fault. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend this place in Barcelona. Bonus points for the breakfast coupons—such a nice touch!

Damien’s Airbnb was perfect for our family’s trip to Barcelona. The apartment is very spacious and clean and is in a great location - we were able to walk a few blocks to the metro which was one stop away from Sagrada Familia (you can see it from the deck on the rooftop). There are also a number of restaurants within walking distance. Damien is very easy to work with and was a great host.

Loved this place in the Eixample neighborhood away from tourist area but still convenient. Lots of privacy for a group/family w/the set up of the 2 bathrooms/3 bedroom. Best grocery is Spar just two blocks away - much better than the one across the street. We received breakfast coupons each day for the 365 bakery across the street. Many restaurants just steps away. We only used the roof deck one time but very nice. Bathrooms are modern and one has a bidet. Loved having electronic key cards instead of keys or codes. We arrived on a weekday & a staff person was there so we didn’t have to deal w/lockbox. We had one minor issue w/key card but Damien sent someone in 10 min to fix. The Picasso Apts don’t have a visible street number. It is the left of Nine9 restaurant (when facing it) and directly across from across from 365 bakery. Taxi from airport was approx 35 euro. Worth it for 4 people.

From the communicative host to the extremely smooth (and flexible!) check in to every moment we enjoyed in this spacious apartment, we were so happy we booked this property! Picasso Suites was perfect for our group. The unit was spacious, and well equipped. It is in a great location in the downtown area. It is very walkable as well as close to public transit. We purchased a multi day metro card that made getting to any area we chose to go to a breeze. One such trip was to Park Güell that has interesting architecture designed by Antoni Guadi, beautiful green spaces, and a panoramic view of Barcelona. Further, the Barceloneta Beach is a short bus ride away. We walked to the Segrada Familia Cathedral for a tour and also enjoyed a memorable day trip to Montserrat (mountaintop monastery) that was simply amazing. There are many restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores nearby. We appreciated the morning sandwich and coffee at 365 across the street from our unit that was included in the reservation. We also loved our brunches at Billy Brunch and Faire Brunch & Drinks.

I booked for my best friend's hen party. The apartment was amazing and very well located. 15 min walk from the Sagrada Familia. All amenities are reached by foot. The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable (yes, even the sofa bed). But beware, there's no air conditioning in the bedrooms. But air conditioning in the common areas and the living room. The shared rooftop is amazing with a beautiful view.

Damien was very responsive and helpful. The location is less than a 10min walk from Metro stops and various sites in Eixample. It was very clean and comfortable. The daily breakfast coupons were a fun addition and the surrounding market and restaurants were great. Despite being right next to restaurants that stayed open late, we were able to sleep just fine if the windows were closed. The AC did not work while we were there. We were there 4 nights and they came and confirmed it wasn’t working, but didn’t seem to try anything else to get it going. Fortunately, we were not trying to use the rooms during the day because one bedroom got really hot, even the first week of May, but would cool down enough when the Sun went down. Some of the future upholstery was damaged, but overall it was in good condition.

Excellent location. All the important attractions in Barcelona are close by. The 365 Coffee shop across the road is an excellent place to start the day and for which breakfast cards are provided. The closest point to get on the "City Tour Red Hop On Bus" is at the Basílica de la Sagrada Família. You could also go to the Plaça de Catalunya for a slighly longer walk. Cab from this location to the airport is 40 euros. Easy to get cabs at this location on the corner. You cannot go wrong with this location.

Stayed for 6 nights, great location! Damien responded to my messages very promptly and was super helpful. The apartment is spacious but the living room needs updating. The TV is very small and the leather sofa has a loose cloth on it. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean but there was a lot of dust / fluff under all the beds in the 3 bedrooms. Overall, a good stay and value for money but these areas need improvement.

The house is conveniently located near the subway station and there are many restaurants nearby. There is a market next door with a wide range of seafood, meat and vegetables. This is the most exceptional place I have stayed in Barcelona, and I did stay many times. It is better than any hotel. The apartment is beautiful, luminous, sunny, very warm (perfect heating), super clean, comfortable, the beds and pillows are super comfy and all white bed linen! They even provided TV with Netflix for me. The apartment is super safe, and the host is extremely responsive and always available. The location is amazing!!! Carrer Girona, pedestrian street, is my favorite street in Barcelona, full of nice bars, coffee shops, and healthy places, and it is right behind the corner! An amazing food market (full of amazing fish and delicious fruit ) is right next to the apartment. The very center (Passeig de Gracias, Placa de Catalunya, Las Ramblas) is approximately 10 min walking distance, even Sagrada Familia is close by foot. This is my favorite place in Barcelona so far, and I cant wait to be back! Many thanks for everything! 🩷

The apartment offered by Damien, met all expectations, and it was as he had told us. Everything else, the apartment is spotless, in a very nice neighborhood, with market, restaurants, bars, etc. One could spend the whole stay in the Barrio. We recently stayed at this apartment in the Eixample district of Barcelona, and it was fantastic. The location is perfect, with great restaurants and cafes nearby. We enjoyed our stay at one of Damien's apartments. The location is wonderful - neighborhood feel, felt very safe, convenient to the metro, the supermarket and nearby restaurants. We found BCN to be a very walkable city and this location was great for walking to/from Sagrada Familia, Gothic Qtr, El Born. It was quite hot while we were there so the AC was great. We had fans in the bedrooms but it was a little warm at night since there is no AC in the bedrooms. The beds were comfortable but one of them was sagging in the middle so we kept drifting to the center. Having a washer was a life saver, especially when traveling as a family. The tokens for breakfast were also great as we saved money on breakfast every morning. Damien and his staff were very attentive and friendly. Karolina was there to greet us upon check in. The only issue we had was on the last day as the cab they had ordered for us never showed up. Otherwise a lovely stay; I would recommend this property!

Our stay at the Picasso Suites was excellent! First, Damien and his staff were very responsive to questions and helpful. The apartments have an excellent location in Eixample. Walkable to many sites, great restaurants, market next door and small supermarkets nearby. I would recommend nearby Bella Italia for exceptional Italian food. We stayed in Unit 3.3 which is 3 bedrooms, very clean, quiet and worked for our family of four. Lovely rooftop terrace to unwind after a full day of walking. Although spacious in some ways, a few of the rooms were pretty tight but doable by European standards. Beds were also very comfortable. My only complaint is that the living room furniture is very uncomfortable, worn and needs to be updated given the price point. But not a deal breaker. I definitely would stay here again and highly recommend Picasso Suites for its location, size, cleanliness and staff.

This review is for Picasso Suites 4.4 and not unit 3.3 which we had booked. The location is amazing with most major sites within walking distance and an amazing market next door. Damien was an amazing host. We had some issues with the A/C on our first night and he was very proactive in helping us, including providing extra fans and a portable cooling unit. His teammate Karolina was absolutely charming and really made our stay comfortable. Even though we had some minor issues with the apartment we highly recommend this apartment and would definitely stay again. An added unexpected bonus was tokens provided for a free coffee and breakfast from the local cafe next door. Damien and his team did a great job!

Damien was so helpful and answered our questions immediately. He was flexible with our earlier arrival time and securely stored our luggage after check out, as we had a late flight. The location was great- very walkable to most attractions (20-30 min), or you could take a taxi. The local surroundings were safe. Supermarkets nearby, 15 min walk to Casa Battlo, and beautiful shopping. We found some local places to eat which were delicious. He even arranged for a taxi to meet us at airport upon arrival. And did the same for my daughter who arrived a day later. We were very happy with our stay! Thank you Damien!

The apartment is in an excellent location (near to the metro and also many key attractions such as Sagrada Familia - which was easily accessible by foot). The tokens for breakfast at the local cafe was a nice touch. The roof terrace was the perfect place to rest weary feet after a day of exploring.

Overall, good spot that got the job done and Damien was so friendly/responsive throughout the entire process! The bedrooms are small, but we were barely in the apartment. It was 3 couples, which automatically makes the spot feel a bit more cramped. We do wish there was a bit better of a living space (larger couch, etc.) for when we were all relaxing between exploring. Not sure if we would stay again, but no complaints! You also get breakfast "coins" for a free coffee and mini sandwich at the spot downstairs. The location is VERY walkable and feels safe.

I can't imagine a better location for exploring Barcelona. Everything you need for supplies/groceries/flowers/snacks is literally steps from your door. The apartment was spotless; the towels/linens lovely. There was a view over the beautiful clay tiles of the roof of the amazing indoor market next door, La Concepcio, into the music conservatory on the corner. You could see (and sometimes hear) ensembles and private lessons going on every night. It was charming. On arrival, I admit we found the instructions to get in a little intimidating, but partly because it had been a long travel day with no sleep. If you simply follow Damien's detailed notes step by step, you retrieve your key cards and after that it is easy peasy. The way the apartment is laid out, it was almost like I had one wing, and my friend had another--perfect for our needs. The washing machine was a bonus and I was able to operate it with no issues. I sometimes find that a challenge in Europe :)

The Picasso Suite apartment perfectly matched the listing made on AirBnb. The accommodation was extremely clean and comfortable, very good bedding and the bed and bathroom linen provided is a real plus! Breakfast token is nice too, but be careful: the bar in which the tokens are valid is closed on Sundays. We are delighted with our stay at Damien's, a considerate and responsive host when needed!

As a group of 7 adults, Damien’s apartment was perfect for our stay in Barcelona. The place is ideally located to visit the city and surrounded by many great restaurants. I arrived early with an overnight flight from the US and Damien was extremely accomodating with the check-in process. The apartment itself is modern, comfortable, functional and clean. The rooftop is lovely and quiet. Finally, Karolina was available at any time to answer our questions and made communication really easy. We would happily come back and recommend to anybody

Apartment was OK. Seems like entire apartment building is Airbnb units and the photos are similar, but of a different unit so layout was different. Place is older than it looks in photos. Pros: place was clean and good location. The included breakfast was a nice perk especially since just around the corner, but I would call it a snack and beverage, and only worth a couple euros/day so keep that in mind. You can find better breakfast for same price if you walk a few blocks. Cons: thin walls so you can hear noise from adjacent units. Stuffy. Most disappointing were the showers -- one is a bathtub with an old IKEA shower curtain that is sad and needs to be replaced. The other is a small walk-in with a shower head that is leaky and difficult to get at the right angle to actually spray onto your body. Would NOT call it a rain shower head. Overall it worked out fine but was a bit disappointing. Hopefully management can make some improvements.

This location is amazing! The three bedrooms coupled with two full bathrooms worked well for 3 adults traveling together (family). The terrace is a common space on the roof with marvelous views. Loved the location and appreciated the tokens for a light morning bite. The only complaint is that the front bedrooms hear some street noise, but turning on a fan helps diminish the sounds f the traffic.

Karolina and team were amazingly helpful and friendly. My luggage was delayed a couple days and Karolina coordinated with Delta to get my luggage while I enjoyed lunch at the beach with my kids. It made the day for me. Having a clothes washer was very helpful and there is an amazing market next door, so the fridge came in handy. The mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. Remember that Barcelona is a bustling city day and night, so bring earplugs. This was a lovely spot to stay and I wold recommend it.

Spent a few nights in Barcelona and felt very comfortable here. Check in was very easy and the pre check in communication was very clear. Home was clean and comfortable and spacious and the host even provides tokens that can be redeemed at a cafe downstairs for a free coffee/croissant. A/C is only in the living room area, none in the bedrooms but the weather was nice during our stay so no issue on this. The flat is also nearby many of the spots we wanted to see. Greatly enjoyed our stay here.

Damien 3 bedroom/2 bath flat is very comfortable and located in the best central location in Barcelona right by flowers market with delicious local food, 15 minutes from breathtaking Cathedral Sagrada Familia, 10-15 minutes from all boutique like Lous Viutton, Prada, Gucci, Moncler and a lot famous places in the city. Bucoria market where you can try traditional tapos, local beers and wines is a short walk away. The cherry 🍒 on the top was Free Cappuccino w/morning croissant or little sandwich. Great experience and we are already planning to come back in Barcelona and stay in Picasso apartments with Damien 👍😊

Recommended. Communication with the host was excellent throughout. We took the bus from the airport into the city and then a taxi to the apartment. Taxis in Barcelona are plentiful and relatively cheap so they became our main mode of transport. The apartment is in a great place...we walked from there to the unfinished church! The apartment was excellent. Beds were really comfortable. The two front rooms suffered with car noise from the street below however, the back room was shielded from that. That said, I was that tired from walking everywhere I slept ok! Plenty of small shops and restaurants in the area. Would have liked a kettle in the apartment however, this was a minor point. Great stay. Recommended.

Great communication and Maria was there to guide us through check in, and she allowed us to check in early. Location was great for us, we walked everywhere except taxi to Park G & airport. Maria organized our morning airport taxi and that was perfect. Very clean unit, comfortable beds with pristine linens. We mostly boiled water for instant coffee and used the fridge so kitchen was ok for us. We enjoyed sitting at the dining room table looking out at the interesting view. Barcelona is wonderful. Great place to stay! Very well located as we were able to walk everywhere easily, even with a baby. The luggage drop off was also helpful as we arrived early morning, and didn’t have to walk around the city with our bags. Breakfast is also included and allowed us to have a quick coffee before we started our day. Damien was very helpful, friendly, and fast with communication. Rooftop was fantastic as you can clearly get views of La Segrada Familia. Definitely would recommend this place!

I was traveling with 2 other girl friends to Barcelona for shopping and relaxing. We stayed in a 3 bedroom/2bath apt and the apt is well sized with ACs. Picasso Apt is ideally located with the convenience of florist & traditional food market just next door, mini markets, pharmacy, bakery, tapas/bars and cafés all nearby, including within walking distance to all the name brand stores we would like to shop. Damien compromised us to extend our check out time to accommodating our late afternoon flight schedule also helped to arrange a taxi taking us to the airport. Their service is very courteous and pleasant to deal with. We had some small issues in the apt but all got resolved smoothly & efficiently. We will come back to stay next time to Barcelona!

Perfect base to enjoy amazing Barcelona. Stayed with a group of 6. Two couples and two singles. The apartment was clean and spacious. Situated in a beautiful location with a supermarket across the street and many lovely cafes near by. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We stayed here for my stag party. There were 7 of us in an apartment with 2 bathrooms. The flat is clean and equipped with all kinds of utensils. We had a great weekend. Close to the main attractions and centrally located in the city. We'll be back! Thanks!

Recommend - Wonderful central, yet quiet location. Check in was very easy and they let us store our luggage since we had an early arrival. Nice rooftop to be able to enjoy a glass of wine before dinner. Apartment was spacious for 4 and appreciated the bottle of bubbly and water waiting for us in the refrigerator on arrival.

We had a great stay at this airbnb! Check in was very smooth, and they were there to help us as soon as we arrived. The airbnb is also located in a very safe and central location. The apartment rooftop is also a nice addition with great seating and a wonderful view of the city.

Overall, I'm very satisfied!Better than I expected. The location is very convenient—you can walk to nearby attractions in just over ten minutes. The flat is also very new and spacious. There are two security doors in the lobby outside, which makes it very safe. My friend and I each had our own room, so we didn't disturb each other. For the same price as a hotel, this flat was definitely the right choice.

Damien's place is truly outstanding. A true B&B as our breakfast was provided which was such a treat to kick start our city tours for the day. This home is perfectly clean, easy check in, tastefully decorated with a wonderful bonus rooftop patio. We loved the location where we felt like locals, less like tourists. I will be recommending this home to my friends and family. It is perfect.

Nice, comfortable place in a great location. Staff appears to be onsite during daylight hours to facilitate check-in/out. The free coffee and pastry/sandwich in the morning is a really nice touch as well.

The double bed is too small; it is suitable for one person to sleep in.The hot water for bathing was excellent.There is no kettle.Great location, easy to get around.

Good location near Casa Batllo. Clean and well equipped rooms as described. They offer luggage stock service so that u don't need to worry about early check-in or late check-out. Place was as advertised. Close to metro and walkable to La Sagrada Familia and a couple of other Gaudí sites. About a 25 minute walk to Gothic Quarter. Enjoyed our short 2 night get stay.

Great, large apartment in a terrific location in Barcelona. Great neighborhood with tons of shops and restaurants nearby. The apartment is very spacious with 3BR/2BA. The communication and assistance from the staff was tremendous. They were very helpful and made check in and the entire stay very smooth. Will definitely stay here again!

A perfect location to explore the delights of Barcelona. A modern and stylish apartment with a roof terrace giving great views and a lovely space to relax over an evening glass of cava. This apartment was a great place to unwind after a long travel day. It was a great location surrounded by several eateries and stores and the cutest market was right next door! Damien and his team were wonderful and very accommodating. The response was always on time and they were so very helpful. The apartment itself was lovely and spacious and very clean. I would highly recommend staying here if ever in Barcelona.

Great space for a family of four and great location. The check-in was easy and the apartment was well-stocked and spacious.There is a great market right next-door from which you can purchase fresh produce, fish, and meats.Definitely recommend.

Damien and Karolina were amazing hosts and were always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. The apartment was tidy and spacious and had 3 rooms, perfect for my 2 buddies and I. The views from the rooftop terrace left us in awe every time, especially La Sagrada Familia just a few blocks away! Barcelona was incredibly beautiful and scenic and I will certainly be returning. What a wonderful apartment! Great location in the heart of Barcelona and walkable to everything you'd want to visit. The most comfortable beds in the world. Friendly, available staff onsite to help with anything you might need. Rooftop patio was perfect for al fresco lunches. Nice layout provided privacy for sleeping, and large living/dining room made socializing a breeze. Quiet, private, nice views - we hated to leave. Will definitely stay again in the future.

I had come to Barcelona on a business and pleasure trip. Damien‘s place made all of that very possible. The location was amazing and the wonderful treat of free breakfast every morning at the coffee shop around the corner give it a beautiful touch. I would highly recommend this place for all future visits to Barcelona. Location location location!! Two of the evenings we decided to go to the lovely fresh market right next door to our building and get great vegetables and meat and cook at home.

Great location, comfortable bed but NO air conditioning in bedrooms and noisy in materbedroom, so we ended up sleeping in the very small room ... NO view what so ever it faces roof of buildings... balcony is on the roof top but we did not go up...... wo

Damien’s apartment was absolutely wonderful! Our Barcelona trip was fantastic and a huge thanks goes to Damien’s place. Spacious and clean apartment with gorgeous view from the window. Conveniently located near stations and eateries, we could get around to all the tourist attractions and shops easily. Our plane was delayed and we got into Barcelona really late, I mean like 3am late, but Damien was understanding and the self check in was the smoothest! Had all the amenities I wanted and the rooftop terrace was just so lovely. Will definitely recommend to everyone!!

The location is good en the place is clean. Although the roof terrace looks very nice it is not your private place. If you are with six friends and have to share the beds, be aware, they are small.

Damien 's apartment was perfect for 4 adults. plenty of privacy and room to sit and rehash our days. the apartment was beyond what we expected and in a great area to walk and enjoy the city! the beds were comfortable and having a bathroom for each couple was extraordinary. Would love to have the opportunity to stay here again.

Damien’s place was great .. comfortable, clean, and centrally located.. being able to come ‘home’ after a day of exploring Barcelona was super nice . We wish we were still there .. we felt it was very walkable.. description on the website was accurate, all commutation was quick and efficient.. I would highly recommend for an extended stay or just a few days. We stayed 13 nights and am now going to buy a memory foam mattress back home because the beds were so comfortable.. Thanks again Damien.. our next stay ( which will be soon ) will be with you !! Charlie

Usually the photos are not what you get.. except the Picasso Suites description is more than accurate. Beautiful beautiful apartment, spacious, everything you can think of (plus a large bottle of local champagne in the fridge..). Very clean. The location is great. Walking distance to all attractions, and very close to the Metro (Girona station). Damien and his team are available and very helpful with tips and suggestions. Make sure you check out the roof - take the champagne up there, lounge on the sofas, and enjoy Barcelona!

Incredible! Great value for money! Every single details has been thought of. From the automated check-in to the bottle of cava waiting in the fridge, the washing powder... Access to a spacious rooftop. The breakfast was included too. The flat has all the amenities and services you could possibly think of.

This place is amazing! Such a great location and close to everything: 3 Gaudi attractions, metro, great restaurants,etc. The beds and pillows were extremely comfy. Damien had great recommedations for flamenco shows. There is a very nice cotton store next to the shop where we bought so much we had to buy extra luggage. On the other side is a wonderful flower shop that always seemed to be open as well as an array of grocery options behind the flower shop. It was just tricky determining when the food shops were open. I would definitely stay here again!!
