I am travelling with my parents, who are both elderly. The location was ideal – markets, cafés, La Pedrera and La Sagrada Família nearby, and we experienced Saint Jordi just a few steps away. We felt right at home, with a lift, clear instructions, and we were always in touch with Damien. They put a lot of effort into everything. They also gave us vouchers for a simple breakfast, which was a great help. We will definitely be back; we are very grateful.

My stay at Picasso Suites 1.3 Paseo de Gracia was truly wonderful and exceeded my expectations. The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Barcelona, within walking distance of many attractions, shops, and restaurants. Transportation is effortless, with a nearby metro station and affordable taxi fares averaging around 10 euros to most destinations. During my stay, I experienced a minor issue with the coffee table and television. After contacting Damien, his team handled everything promptly and professionally, demonstrating excellent service and genuine care for guest satisfaction. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable! Everything was impeccable! Perfectly located near everything in the best neighborhood in Barcelona. You really can't say anything other than good, the towels are a thousand points, a very comfortable bed!!!! And the breakfast they provide makes the stay even more comfortable! And if you want to cook, you have everything available with basic items such as oil, salt, sugar, etc. And a not insignificant issue is that despite being perfectly located in the center, you can rest very well. I would definitely choose it again!

The first day WiFi was unusable in the apartment, but Damien quickly had me moved to a different (and larger) unit that was great–clean, quiet, and strong WiFi. I would stay at this place again.

Pictures warmth did not match the reality , the price it’s excessive for a place with not hand soap , cleaning detergents to maintain the toilet and kitchen clean , somebody’s sock under the bed , dirty pillows , small and very old tv . In conclusion , over 300 euros per night should make the owner invest in a better quality, more modern decoration and everything .

+ Great location & extremely helpful staff. House just as its described in the pics. Easy to reach everywhere. + Marveline and İndagio are two marvelous people and a great asset for the apartment they take care of all your need like personal assistant. - A little noisy because of traffic if you’re in the lower floors and needs to be refurbished furniture seems to be outdated. I stayed there about a week for work. A better Tv with Netflix and YouTube and a faster internet would be a good plus for such a good place.

Appartement was as advertised, very clean, nice place. Close to some of the main attractions and close to the metro. Space, bed and shower were good. Nice roof terrace. The sofa wasn’t great, the included breakfast is a coffee and a croissant. Communication with the host was perfect, proactice, fast response and good tips for restaurants

Great place, felt like home. This place made our Barcelona trip fun. Great location with cafes and restaurants. They even held our luggage on check out day until our flight time. Provided us early check-in that helped a lot with kid too just relax after long journey. Highly recommended!!!

Great location and beautiful apartment. We felt right at home. Damien and his team were very responsive and always quick to help us out. We had a small issue with our key card and Damien was able to resolve it in less than an hour. He also allowed us to store our luggage after our checkout time which was extremely helpful. The apartment was very clean, quite a few towels to change, sheets too, they left water in the fridge for arrival. Very good explanation to get there, good communication and quick response. We arrived at 12:30 am and everything was available to access the apartment without any problems. I would definitely stay here again!

Incredible location directly next door to the Mercado and two amazing restaurants (9Nine: mussels, sea bass, rib eye $40/person get reservations online and Casa Amalia — order the octopus and ceviche and cheesecake). We had a car which was fun but you need to be experienced to park in the underground lot with hitting a wall. Room was so nice with kitchenette, comfortable bed and strong AC. The refrigerator was super cold too which was nice. Shower is small but manageable. We especially liked how safe the unit was with outside key code for front door, then a fab key for second door entry into the lobby and a simple elevator ride one floor or easy stairs. Breakfast included was next door — just order a coffee, juice or water and grab a sandwich or croissant. Across the street was a fantastic bakery and lots of great shops in every direction. The walk to the double decker bus tours was 5 mins away. And most of all, La Sagrada Familia was only 5 blocks away! We will be back!

Damien's place is well located. A few minutes walk to major attractions and nearby shops. However, in my opinion the place is just ok - nothing more. The place could have used a lot more "love" and decor. There were a lot of things in the kitchen so you can really cook up a meal and the fridge was tiny. The shower wasn't so clean and could use an upgrade. Overall, if you're in town for a few days this place is fine but anything longer I don't think I would stay. A few perks though, free breakfast around the corner and a rooftop with a view (though I didn't get a chance to check it out).

What a great memories at Damien's place, his listing was exactly what this place was! Very very clean, very easy check-in, and very relaxing! I could not have stayed in a better place, the kitchen full equiped, the bed so comfy, the living room sofa so smooth to seat spaecially after walking around the vibrant neighborhood, the delicious bakery El Turry, the fresh supermarket Conception and many more great palces.Everybody there was so nice and pleasant to be around! Really great apartment in a safe and beautiful location, accessible to everything without a car. And the host let us park in the private lot underneath the building. Very accommodating to English speakers! Very quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Wine and water were waiting in the fridge for us and the towels and linens were so soft and high quality. Felt like a hotel, very clean. There is a giant and beautiful food market directly next store that was perfect and several good restaurants are directly underneath. We didn’t realize there was no breakfast available on Sunday so that was disappointing. We did laundry at an automatic spot around the corner and the host was helpful in recommendations for this.

The apartment is very well located, and is surrounded by supermarkets, shops and cafes. The stay was very pleasant and the team was great with us. I had read in some comment that from the apartment there was quite a lot of noise from the street, and it is true that you hear, but it did not prevent us from resting comfortably. As for breakfast, we didn't know that there were no holidays or weekends, so although we had breakfast every day of our stay, when we got there we found out that it was not going to be like that, since holidays and weekends coincided. However, the stay was good and we would repeat without hesitation.

Everything was in the most beautiful order, as described. Check-in was easy and we were able to check in much earlier than described. The Wi-Fi is a little slow. The breakfast was nice, cozy café. They knew our order after the first day. Good neighbourhood. We will definitely come again.

A lovely apartment in a great location. The road is busy and noisy but you are in the city centre, so we didn’t mind too much. Great terrace with views of the Sagrada Família, where we spent many afternoons sipping cava! Great communication with Damien and the team, who were incredibly flexible in letting us drop off/pick up bags to suit our schedule. There’s nothing worse than dragging them around all day before a late flight, so we were incredibly appreciative!

No washing machine as promised. No oven as promised. Dirty apartment. Dishes not clean. Temperature on air-conditioning was impossible to get a good temperature - to small equipment even for fall. Slow service Light in kitchen can't be turned off. WiFi don't work. No signal, bandwidth whatsoever. Extremely loud during night. Both from other apartments and outside traffic. Two nights almost without any sleep. Included breakfast was extremely poor and low quality.

We stayed in a Picasso suite with two 16 months old twins. The apartment was as described and everything worked fine since we got in. Communication with the staff running the apartments was extremely easy as they were usually physically present during working hours. The location is fantastic, in the really nice neighborhood L'Eixample, relatively close to everything. The Concepció market next door was a big plus for me, as Spain has fantastic fruits, vegetables, meats, etc and, living next to it, you get quick access to premium stuff. Also, the building is completely accessible, with a ramp and spacious elevator (something I've been told is quite rare in Barcelona). This was very important for us, as we had a double stroller for the twins. In sum, we feel we made a very good choice. We would definitely come back.

This place is a short walk to Sagrada Familia so we were thrilled to stay here. We walked a ton on our trip and we loved coming back to this nice clean apartment. We were concerned about getting cabs to some of the further out locations we wanted to visit but the street had a good amount of taxis coming and going. Karolina arranged a taxi to the airport which was super helpful as well. All in all, a great place to stay!

Staff was the best and able to make and slight discomfort go away. Location is great, free breakfast is cute and a good way to get your day off fast, and apartments are pretty good. Hopefully they replaced the mattress in this suite, otherwise everything is great.

Very close to metro so easy access to all the hot spots. 1 mile walk to the Sagrada Familia and top of Las Ramblas. Clean and comfortable. Roof terrace is a lovely bonus and the bottle of cava went down well. Would not hesitate to stay again.

I had a very pleasant stay at Damien's place overall. Let me do a quick rundown of the pros and cons of the place. Pros: - Great location! The Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila, the Barri Gothic are all just a short walk away and all other attractions are easily reachable - especially since Damien can set you up with a GoCar as well. - Catering: you can opt for having your grocery shopping done for you and awaiting you in your apartment upon arrival. Convenient. - Lots of advice and assistance with planning your exploration of Barcelona should you need it. - People on call (and I think on site) should you need immediate assistance with the apartment. Cons: - The shower stall is tiny. You need to be careful not to bump into the stall doors or the faucet when taking a shower. - The full stone flooring looks very stylish but (possibly apart from summertime) is a bit too cold. Stepping out of bed onto the cold floor is a bit of a shock in the morning. - The couch looks a bit more run-down than on the pictures.

Fantastic location. Walkable to every major attraction if you don’t want to use metro or taxi. We arrived late but checkin was a breeze. Quite a bit of traffic noise at times but given the location you’d have to expect that. We were there for Sant Jordi day and flower markets next door were a hive of activity so a bit of noise during the night but spectacular roses! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and easy access to Barcelona sights!

Damien’s flat is exactly as shown in the photographs. It is in a good location (market and supermarket right outside the apartment, metro 3/4 minutes’ walk away). It is possible to walk to the different tourist places (8-10 minutes from Passieg de Gracia / 10-12 minutes from Plaça Cataluna / 8-10 minutes from Sagrada Familia). The apartment is in a friendly neighborhood and without too many tourists in which it is easy to find friendly and not overcrowded bars and restaurants. Damien and his team are very responsive and accommodating. I had no trouble communicating with them and received appropriate responses very quickly. And I would like to thank them once again for their constant availability. The option of being able to have a coffee or breakfast in the café downstairs is also very convenient. Yes, the room overlooked the street, but it didn't seem to me that it was noisier than other areas of Barcelona that I was able to stay in. In my opinion, Damien's apartment has a good value for money and I will not hesitate to return there occasionally.

This is a nice, clean apartment in a good location. About 0.8 miles to the gothic quarter, it’s in a nice quaint neighborhood. Pretty much everything about this apartment was great except it is very noisy as it’s on the 1st floor overlooking a busy street. We live on one of the busiest streets in Manhattan and we found this apartment noisy. Also, the bed was very hard but some people may like that. Apart from those two things the apartment is fantastic. Check in was flawless and communication could not have been better. The host was extremely helpful and polite, very good customer service. If street noise does not bother you then definitely book this apartment!

Our stay with Damien at Picasso Suites 1.3 in Barcelona was amazing. We loved the opportunity for our family - my wife and me and two kids ages 8 and 6 - to explore the city and Damien and his team was so accommodating and helpful. Karolina was awesome and she was on site much of the time in the entrance helping guests and coordinating. The apartment was the perfect size for our family with two double beds including the pull our sofa and ideally located close and walkable to everything in a nice neighborhood with so many good restaurants and amenities nearby. It was enough outside the busy tourist spots that we could relax. The complementary breakfast at the Bracafe on the corner was a nice touch and their is a market next door and across the street for everything you would need. We made use of the beautiful roof terrace too. Can’t recommend this place and a visit to Barcelona enough! We will be back. Ben

This air bnb is situated in a wonderful area. Located conveniently between two metro stops - Verdaguer and Girona - it is also attached to a wonderful upscale, yet affordable, tapas restaurant (Nine) and nearby market that is much like a farmer's market with fresh produce, breads, cheeses, flowers, seafood and meats - a delight for the eyes and the taste buds! The staff who checked us in were very attentive and responsive. We felt well taken care of and accommodated. We were also given tokens which we could exchange at the nearby Bra Café for tea or coffee and a pastry or sandwich. This was a very nice touch and what we did each morning to start our day. The air bnb also allowed us access to the rooftop which has stunning views of the city. You can even see the enormous Sagrada Familla poking through the horizon, which was a wonderful thing to see. We enjoyed some cava (compliments of the house), Iberian ham, olives, and fresh bread that we picked up from the local market while sitting rooftop and taking in the views. The only downside that we experienced was the noise from the streets was pretty loud. There were many scooters and motorized bikes, so traffic noise was quite audible. The walls seemed pretty thin, so we could hear our neighbors (who did not tread lightly) quite often. It was not that big of an issue for us because by the end of the day we were so exhausted from our adventures that we fell right to sleep. We plan on visiting this great city in the future, and when we do we will stay at Picasso Suites once again. We will also recommend Picasso Suites to anyone considering a visit to Barcelona.

We had a great time in Barcelona. It was possible to access the apartment before the time and leave after the time, it was ideal! The apartment is perfectly located, we were able to do everything on foot and it's very nice to relax on the rooftop terrace between two visits. The market next door is a real plus: fresh and mixed fruits, local products, etc. Thanks to Damien for his responsiveness: very quick responses by email before departure.

Not bad for a short stay. It is centrally located and you can walk to many things. The bed was comfortable. The check in was easy and the host was very quick to respond to any questions. We were able to check in early which was nice too. The added coffee and pastry at the cafe next door (included) was a nice touch. If you are a light sleeper, be aware the bedroom faces a main road and the noise may disturb you. We had no problems sleeping though and knew we were staying in the middle of the city.

Demian's appliance is very comfortable and equidistantly located from every point of interest in the city. It is very well equipped and has everything one needs to have a pleasant stay. It has the metro nearby and the neighborhood is full of bars and restaurants. In addition, it has a supermecado in front of what is very practical. Breakfast is included and this greatly simplifies the start of the activity since the morning. Fully recommended.

Damien’s place was absolutely wonderful. Our original Airbnb fell through, so we booked his place and checked in within 2 hours. Check in was very easy and everyone was very helpful. The wine in the fridge was a wonderful touch. If you can, checkout the terrace. It has a great view of the sagrada familia. The apartment is in walking distance to many attractions. Breakfast at the cafe downstairs is included. The people that work there are very nice as well. I would definitely stay here again given the chance.

The check in process was really organized and the communication was really professional. The apartment itself was beautiful and the location was awesome, lots of shops and restaurants in a 10 minute walking radius and about a 25 min walk from La Rambla. Damien's place is in a great location, its very residential and is an easy walk to Segrada Familia, the gothic quarter, and lots of wonderful restaurants and conveniences. The air conditioner is great, and the bed is pretty comfortable. The bedroom also has blackout curtains which is nice. Our two cons were: (a) very small shower, and (b) very weak wifi signal. The wifi is for the whole building, which is a collection of various sized units that were all occupied during our time there. It was so weak as to be basically non-operational. We have the newest model iphones and a new MacBook, and they still weren't able to pick up the signal very well. We had to rely on the international data plan we purchased to research restaurants, book tickets, and map our routes. There are also no internet connection ports available in the apartment to plug into directly. We were disappointed not to be able to use our laptop at all while there.

This place was great! Really convenient to all parts of the city. Short walk to Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, and Plaza Catalunya. Close to public transit too. The apartment itself was nice and clean. The check-in process was great. We were able to schedule rides to/from the airport through them. They even gave us an option to have the apt stocked with snacks when we arrived. Damien was really responsive and answered our questions immediately. The one thing that I would say is that there is only an air conditioner in the living room, which means the bedroom is generally pretty hot, so we left the door to the bedroom open at all times to make sure the AC got in.

We stayed at Picasso Suites for 4 days with 2 adults and 2 children. What we loved: - Excellent location with multiple attractions within walking distance and an amazing neighbourhood. Metro a few blocks away and taxi just outside the building. - Access to Bracafe which provided a great local experience and good options. - Great service from Damien and his team, literally 24X7 basis. . We asked for a stroller and got one that we were able to use. That really helped us during the trip Other comments: - We asked to check in early. Since the apartment we booked was not available, the team located us in a larger property. However, this other apartment was a smoking unit and everything had a smoke feel. Plus there were only 1 AC unit and that made things uncomfortable as the unit had 3 bedrooms. I think this is something that we could have addressed with better communications with Damien's team. - We ran out of hot water in the apartment and Damien's team had to send someone to fix. They were very responsive and allowed us to use another unit for showers in the interim. - On our last day of the stay, we had a large group come into the building and they were very noisy late into the night and also early in the AM. The good thing is that when we let Damien know, he contacted them immediately which did help.

Good location close to all the amenities. Good service on check in, all code entry so no need to wait around for people. Quite a bit of road noise but you have to balance that against the very convenient location. Air conditioned and spacious. Overall very happy with our stay.

Damien and his team are incredibly efficient and accommodating. Before arriving, they send a check-in questionnaire that allows you among other things to book pick up at the airport, rent pocket wifi (brilliant!), stock the fridge, book tours, etc. There was a chilled Cava in the fridge when we arrived! Picasso suites is in an ideal location! What a great experience to be able to walk to Passeig Garcia (Gaudi and high end stores) on one end, Sagrada Familia on the other, right next door to a market, surrounded by excellent restaurants. The Rambla and Barrio Gotico aren't too far away either.

Awesome location, very close to the metro, Sagrada Familia, and LaPedrera. Free breakfast at the nearby cafe was really nice! There was definitely street noise on the first floor apartment, but we didn't mind because we were heavy sleepers. Not a great place for someone who is a light sleeper. The rooftop was also great, very relaxing and nice views!

Place was as described, very nice apartment, nice location. Windows aren't well insulated and road is noisy, but foam earplugs take care of that. Walls aren't insulated and next door neighbors were partying until 6:30 a.m. on our first night there making the start of our stay unbearable, but luckily it was their last night there. According to Damien, this isn't a regular occurrence, we were just unlucky and we were compensated partially for the first night. Once again, earplugs will help with that as well. Wi-Fi was very weak and kept kicking us off, so if you have work to do or if the kids want to stream, it's very challenging.

The apartments are located in a neighborhood full of cafes, bars and restaurants and at walking distance from almost every point of interest but still away from all the hustle. You even have a nice little market next door and a really nice roof-top terrace. Check-in was really easy due to very accurate instructions. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment which was small but clean, very well equipped and nicely decorated. Damien and his staff were always kind and available. To be honest I don't think you could get a better treatment in a 5-star hotel. The only downside is the noise. Our bedroom faced the street (which is very busy) and the noise came through the windows.

Great place in a very nice neighborhood! Extremely welcoming staff and owner. We just spent Christmas there and they had put a big bag of treats there for us to enjoy. Great flat, great location. My only issue is that I'm a light sleeper and it really was very noisy - you can hear all the car/street noise from outside. Flat is on a busy street and windows are not double glazed. I had trouble sleeping (I am a light sleeper as it is). My own fault as I should have read the reviews more carefully. We found Damien's accommodation to be very clean, light and in a great location. Closer to everything than I initially thought by looking at the map. It has a very hotel feel about it if that's what you would be looking for - couldn't complain about a thing. The lady hosting downstairs was very friendly and helpful. The food market next door was the biggest bonus I loved buying produce from there daily. As well Damien was super sufficient at getting back to my enquiry and was able to accommodate us very last minute and my friend and I appreciate this very much. Thank you again Damien!

Damien is very easy to communicate with and quick to address concerns. Overall the place suited our needs. I would advise guests to be aware that the noise from the street is real and kicks off around 8am. So bring earplugs. The AC is also only in the living room so it'll take some time to cool the place if warm out. Location was great as well.

We were getting an apartment on a very short notice and Damien's place worked out well for us. The property is very well managed. From the preparations for the visit till the departure all is well thought out and we had everything that we needed. Having a breakfast in Bracafe was a nice touch. I have always liked to stay in AirBnB because you get to experience the local life with local people. The place of Damien feels like a hotel and caters to the touristic crowd. It is perfect if you travel for work or prefer the anonymous feel of hotels. Bed is perfect. We were 3, so 2 of us had to sleep on the pull-out sofa, which was ok but not very comfortable. The place was clean. Wifi didn't work first day, but started to work on the second day after a message to the host. The check-in process and communication was impecable.

Our time in Barcelona was incredible and a big part of it was because of our stay at Damien's place. The apartment is even better in person! All the instructions we very easy to follow and we never even had to meet face to face. The location was fabulous and we loved going to the wonderful market next door , having cocktails up on the deck during sunset and so much more. It is walking distance to three of the Gaudi attractions as well as to some of the best food in the city. The place was very clean and modern. Thanks to Damien and his staff, Karolina and Maria, we had a great stay in Barcelona. The apartment was lovely and was in a perfect location, ideally suited near to the Passeig de Gràcia and the Sagrada Família. What made the location even better was that it was next door to the amazing Mercat de la Concepció. This was fascinating to wander around and perfect for picking up food for meals for lunch and to cook in the apartment. Damien and his staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly from the moment we made the booking to the end of the stay. The cafe for the included breakfast was also really nice and the bottle of Cava on arrival was a lovely suprise! I'd happily recommend staying here to friends and family.

Hi Damien and to your team, We had a very pleasant stay in your apartment. The fact that you hold all the apartments in the apartment building, allows you to have the support of a very good team in place . What a good service! We had a few requests and the answers were immediate. The quick fixes by Maria and Karolina who were very kind. We recommend the Picasso 1.3 apartment for its ideal positioning and the natural lighting of the rooms. Despite the noise of Barcelona's traffic and our North American standards, we got used to this buzz. The view and perspective on the neighboring market and the musical academy gave us charming privacy. The place was clean and well maintained. Access to the terrace is an asset for aperitifs and the offer of the neighboring market, allowed us to get typical Spanish food and dishes. The listing description could never be more accurate Damien and his team were very welcoming and extremely responsive in answering all of my questions and making sure that my friend and I were well taken care of. The apartment was clean and conveniently located close to the main shopping area and just a few blocks away from the main attractions such as the Sagrada Familia and Casa Batllo. I barely took public transportation or a taxi since I was able to walk everywhere from the apartment. Overall, I had a really great time and would definitely recommend anyone to stay here!

We had a wonderful stay in Barcelona at Picasso Suites! Received an email explaining exactly how to retrieve key cards, how to use them, to please drink the welcome bottle of cava in the fridge, etc. Could not have been easier! The apartment was exactly as pictured, clean and welcoming. In fact, we were so pleased with our time there that we stayed 3 more days (thank you, Damien, Karolina and Maria for arranging that!). And, the complementary breakfast at the little cafe around the corner was a very nice touch! The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere and hop on the metro when tired. We stayed in suite 1.3 first and it was a bit noisy, even with double glazed windows. Last 3 nights were spent in suite 4.3 and was perfect! Definitely would stay in either apartment again!

We arrived at Picasso Suites after our cruise and we were theilled with the accommodations. There were 4 of us and and we switched to a larger room and it was perfect for us. The room was very clean and nicely decorated and in the BEST neighborhood in Barcelona. Tons of shopping, cafes and the greatest market right next door. We went there everyday. Everything was so fresh and they had beautiful flowers. Damien was amazing to deal with. Every question I had was answered within 30 minutes. That's excellent customer service. He arranged a dinner reservation that I couldn't secure and also arranged our tranfer from our cruise ship and then to the airport at the end of our stay. I would definitely stay at Picasso Suites the next time in Barcelona. The staff is amazing and Karolina who was there to greet us was exceptional. I highly recommend this apartment You won't be sorry. Book it!!!

Everething was ok with my stat at Damien Harris & Team that matched my requirements. They were very kind offered also a bottle of Spanish White win to celebrate staying in Barcelona. Apartament was nice and clean and matches pics published on the website. Terrace on top was lovely and I spent there sunsent hour drinking win and having relax thanks to Barcelona sky view. Damien and his team were also always kind and fast replying to any message sent from my side! In conclusion my only small concern was about my arrival at 12.00 because cleaning operations still have to be done and were finalized a approx 1/2 hours later. In anycase it was satisfactory hosting and I reccomend everybody to choose location in the future. I will do it too when I'm back to Barcelona.

We stayed at the Picasso Suites for 5 nights. This apartment was well located to tourist attractions a, restaurants and shopping areas. The apartment was clean and we were provided with information on attractions, restaurant and things to do. The only issues was on a Saturday night when there was a party in the apartment block to 3.00 am. This apartment is located on a busy street and can be noisy in the night time. Overall we enjoyed our stay in the Picasso Suites.

This apartment is very nice, especially when you compare it to hotel prices in the area. The location is fantastic. This neighborhood is beautiful (lots of restaurants and high end shopping) and the apartment is close to the Girona metro station, making all of Barcelona accessible. The apartment was also clean and comfortable. It's also very easy to find once you are off the metro. The Picasso suites staff was generally very responsive. We did have two issues - the Internet and the shower. The wifi was basically non-existent in the apartment. We couldn't get a signal at all in the bedroom and had a very weak, inconsistent signal in the living area. The only place the Internet really worked was in the downstairs. If you stay here, don't rely on the wifi in the apartment. The shower is also very, very tiny. Showers and bathrooms in Europe are typically much smaller, but this shower was uncomfortably small. The drain was also entirely backed up, almost to the point that the water was about to overflow out of the sides. All in all, this apartment was a good value and has great aesthetic appeal (good styling). And, the location can't be beat. However, it needs a bit of TLC and attention to detail.

We were greeted personally and shown into the room and its amenities, including complimentary cava and water in the fridge. We weren't, however, greeted by Damien (nor did we ever meet him)-- it appeared that the entire building was short-stay apartments run by the Picasso Suites team (i.e. this is very much a business, not someone's home). The room was what we expected based on the listing. The shower was small, but functional; the bathroom overall was a fine size. The bed and bedding were perfectly nice, but not luxurious. The air conditioning worked well, but is only in the living room (not the bedroom) which might have been a concern if it were earlier in the summer. We were pleasantly surprised by the terrace, and enjoyed having dinner al fresco one evening. We appreciated the free breakfast at a cafe around the corner, and enjoyed the location -- easily accessible to subway, fine for walking to various neighborhoods, and quieter than some more touristy areas. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found it to be quite comfortable and exactly what we needed.

The description of the flat, the neighborhood, the price – everything was spot on. This was a wonderful experience in a very nice flat that is obviously taken care of. Damien is an excellent host who is more than helpful and responsive. We ended up having to cut our stay short because of external reasons and Damien was incredibly flexible and helpful in the schedule changes. I would 100% recommend one of Damien's flats for anyone traveling to Barcelona!

Our stay at Picasso Suites has been a highlight of our honeymoon to date! Damien, Maria, Karolina and the team have been nothing short of an absolute delight to deal with at every interaction - from our initial booking months ago, to liaising with us before our arrival, to greeting us at check in, to surprise honeymoon flowers delivered to our door. to a smile at the front desk when wandering down to the included breakfast, until check out. We booked an airport transfer less than 24 hours before our arrival, which Damien kindly arranged. As promised, we were punctually met at the airport by a lovely driver who helped us with our luggage and drove us to the apartment. The check in process is hands down the best I've ever experienced. A short survey a few days prior guides you through a number of options and services that the team offer in order to make your stay the most enjoyable it can be - from airport transfers both ways, to pre-stocking the kitchen, to guiding you through booking parking and suggesting options for late check out and luggage storage, as well as providing information about tours and GoCar hire - so many things we hadn't yet thought about. The breakfast that is included is so good - the staff at Bracafe make a sensational ham and cheese sambo, and they're open from about 6.30am until at least 2pm most days, so there's no rush to get to breakfast if you sleep in. Their hot chocolate is next level - you'll need to eat it with a spoon! The apartment is in a lovely, safe area; right next to a beautiful flower market (well worth a browse!!), and sandwiched between some lovely cafes and bars. It is located a close walk to a number of Metro stations, and a nice wander to Las Ramblas and the bustling cafe and tapas bar districts. There are a number of supermarkets close by, but it's worth a wander through the back streets of Las Ramblas to pick up some awesome local produce! The apartment itself is even lovelier and more immaculate than pictured. The floorplan is perfect for either a short or an extended stay; well-appointed with ample toiletries and kitchen utensils, a sofa for additional guests, and a generous sized bedroom with loads of available powerpoints and storage. The bed is comfy, the shower is hot, and the upstairs terrace (that we didn't know we'd have access to - massive bonus!) is an absolute treat - it has stunning panoramic views over neighbouring rooftops, and all the way to the tip of La Sagrada Familia. It is the perfect place to crack a bottle of wine at sundown. We only had two, very minor issues: my iphones had issues connecting to the wifi; however my husbands' samsung phone connected with no issues. The shower is also a little slow to drain, which meant we kept showers a little shorter than normal; again,...

The location of Picassio Suites 1.3 Paseo De Gracias was excellent. From the time we booked the apartment we got periodic updates from Damien with respect to our arrival and how to access our apartment. The apartment was very clean and met all our expectations. We opted for the pick up service from the airport which was great but the fridge stocking option was not worth it given that you have a supermarket right in front of the apartment.

Damien, Karolina and Maria were all extremely helpful. Check-in was simple and did not require a specific meeting time which was very nice. The hosts gave us great tips on things to do and see. Apartment is wonderful with great amenities. The roof was a very comfortable place to share a glass of wine after dinner. Location is great, walking distance to sights/beach/restaurants. A modern well located apartment. Damien and his team are fantastic! The first apt. was not exactly a fit for us so Damien switched us to a different one after the first night and it worked out great. The Mercado next door along with a full grocery means you don't need to go anywhere else to shop. The continental breakfast in the café (Bracafe) next door was a nice extra. The staff at the café was super friendly. And on the first day when we arrived we went to the café/restaurant on the other side (OnTime) and had a wonderful prix fix lunch and the staff their was equally nice. When my wife needed help with buying a bedspread she wanted to take home from the store on the corner Marie from Damien's team was there to help translate. Damien and his team make your stay feel like a hotel with a personal concierge. Lastly, if you book from Damien in the building don't forget to check out the great terrace on the roof. We loved staying with Damien and his team. They made us feel welcome while abroad. Their communication was excellent so it was very easy to arrange our arrival, find the place and check in. Highlight of why we loved their hospitality: Our luggage missed a connecting flight so it arrived 1 day after we did. The airline would deliver our bags to the apartment some time between 1pm-6:30pm; they wanted us to wait at the apartment during that window. Instead of enjoying our first day in Barcelona, the airline wanted us to wait for them. Fortunately for us, Damien's team took care of everything. We talked with Karolina, she coordinated with the doorman so that someone would always be around to receive our bags. When we came home at night, the bags were in our room. It was like magic. We talked to Karolina and our luggage showed when we came back without any effort on our part. That saved us half a day and a ton of frustration. This exemplifies excellent hospitality

The apartment is in a fantastic location. It is so close to everything, so we ended up walking most places. It is a 10 minutes walk from Eixample which is where lots of the clothes shops are. There are also 2 near by stations, which make life a lot easier at night when your too tired to walk back. The apartment itself was clean, and had plenty of room for me and my sister. Any questions we asked Damien, himself and his team were very quick to respond. Many thanks to Damien and his team, and I would definitely stay here again.

We've stayed at Picasso Suites end of April 2015. We had a great time in Barcelona, in no small part, thanks to the awesome accommodation. The apartment itself was in immaculate condition, greatly appointed, well located. The hosts were extremely helpful, helping us organise the bikes, lock them for the night in the garage, or helping out with local tourist information. We're airbnb hosts ourselves and I know what takes to give someone a great service. This was definitely one of them. We'll be back for sure.

Prime location. Communicative and friendly host and team. This is NOT the place to stay however if you are a light sleeper. The windows are paper thin and you hear every car, motorcycle and conversation from the street as well as the elevator and doors in the hall. The cleaning crew was still working when we arrived which was inconvenient but not a big deal. The wifi was spotty and didn't work in the bedroom. Damien and team were extremely helpful with arrival and departure logistics and city information.

This place was great and just as advertised. We arrived to a bottle of Cava waiting for us in the fridge to enjoy on the rooftop terrace! Any questions that we had we promptly responded to by Damien and his staff through airbnb messaging. While this place has many great features, the best is it's location. It was a ten minute walk to the Sagrada Familia on our second day and it was also easy to explore the gothic neighborhood and other parts of the city on foot. Breakfast was nothing special but pretty typical for Spain. Highly recommended!

This was a great location and the perfect place for my friend and I's week stay in Barcelona. First off the location is perfect. Close by two metro lines and walking distance to Major tourist areas. There are tons of cafes, restaurants, and it is right next to a market. The flat itself was perfect. The pictures in the ad are exactly how is looks, wonderfully decorated, clean, spacious, and a very comfortable bed. I can't wait to come back and visit and definitely hope to stay here again! I would recommend this flat to anyone with no hesitations!

Had a great stay at Damien's place! Picasso Suites 1.3 was furnished as described and very clean. Damien & team were very accommodating and could help with any questions. The transfer from the airport to the apartment, also booked via Damien, worked great. But it probably would have been a normal taxi. The only downside was that the bedroom is facing the street and the traffic was a bit noisy. By the second night, however, we had already gotten used to it. Location of the apartment is unique. You can visit the whole city on foot. The Sagrada Família is only a few minutes walk away and can even be seen from the roof terrace. We would book with Damien again anytime!

How is it said PERFECT in Spanish? The 3 nights spent at Damien's apartment contributed to our great stay in Barcelona! Extremely simple check-in and pickup keys, like also check-out. Secure building in a pleasant neighborhood, very close to many tourist points. If necessary, contact (in French!) possible at any time , including pipes of all kinds. The apartment is brand new, very clean, large, functional and very nice decor. TV (French channels, albeit occasionally scrambled ), comfortable cooking and even basic products provided, such as coffee, tea, honey, oils, etc... The room, overlooking the street is a little noisy which prevented us from spending good nights, then we are in Barcelona and not in a lost field in the countryside! Damien was absolutely accommodating! Not only was the apartment beautiful and extremely clean, Damien also went one step further and makes arrangements for his guests to have complimentary coffee or tea plus a croissant or sandwich for each morning they are a guest. There were several times upon arrival where I had to contact Damien and he made sure to respond right away! The apartment is centrally located and within walking distance of shops & restaurants. Host was very receptive. They called us as soon as the booking was made confirming our arrival. They handed the keys and gave us an option to select the apartment that we wanted which was really nice! The apartment we chose though had two issues. One the water heate wasn't working well, which meant no hot water or heating the first night we stayed there. Secondly, there was noise from the terrace because of the doors banging against each other. This disturbed our sleep. However I liked the staff. They were courteaus and provided us with every amenity we looked for and tried to resolve these issues to the best of their ability.

Large and very clean place with lots of sunlight. I like the venue very much since it's not too near the touristy areas but still walkable to the important sights. Breakfast available but be ready to eat elsewhere if you're planning for an early day. Stayed there for 3 days but they never open at 8am :(. Would recommend since the hosts were all very nice :)

Location is fantastic, the Eixample district is great with plenty of good bars and restaurants and only a few minutes walk from the Passeig de Gràcia. Apartment itself is lovely and very very clean, really well furnished and feels like home rather than a hotel! Friendly doorman and the staff from the restaurant next door helped us settle in which was great. Overall I couldn't speak highly enough of the whole experience & the city, and would definitely recommend staying in this or another of Damien's apartments in the future!

Damien & Karolina are FANTASTIC hosts. There place is clean and right in the Centre. I loved my stay and would highly recommend anyone to stay there. The place was extremely clean and close by everything. You could either walk to the Centre in 10-15 minutes or catch a taxi for $6€, even getting to the beach will only cost you $10€. Damien & Karolina were extremely gracious and friendly and always happy to help. It was also extremely easy to communicate with them. I highly recommend Picasso suits and for its location, cleasiness, amenities and the host. To me there is no other place that I would stay in Barcelona and I will definitely stay there again in a hearts beat.

The apartment is spotless, comfortable, and has everything you will need to enjoy your stay in Barcelona. Damien and team are extraordinarily professional, timely with requests, and helpful! The location can't be beat. This apartment is perfect for business travelers. One consideration - if you are sensitive to traffic sounds while you sleep you will need earplugs or to sleep on the sofa bed as the bedroom window is above a busy street.

Damien and his team took great care of us, checking in with us on a daily basis. The market next to the apartment building was wonderful - great place to look around, get groceries or coffee. Apartment was the perfect size for a couple or a couple of friends. Fairly quiet overall. Very clean. No complaints. Transportation to and from the airport was organized by Damien and his team which was very helpful as well. Would recommend staying here, or any property that Damien manages.

A week Picasso Suite in Barcelona can only be recommended! The apartment is chic, super clean and hosts Karolina and Damien are just great. We felt cared for all around and were happy to accept the offer to have a small breakfast in the Can 60 bar every day. There you can also eat deliciously! The apartment is perfect for this great city. Many attractions can be reached on foot and you have many opportunities to shop or have a drink all around. It was also great for us to enjoy a glass of red wine on the roof terrace in the late evening. This place is highly recommended! All the following guests have an equally lovely stay!

Lovely clean apartment in a fantastic area. Barcelona is such a small city, it's easy to reach all the tourist hot spots from Picasso Suites. Booking a breeze through Damien and the tiny niggles we reported on arrival were sorted the very next day. Our taxi transfer was charming and good humoured, even though we were delayed for 1.5hrs on the flight out. So many amazing sites visited, incredible food, wonderful friendly people. Travel via Metro or taxi, both are good value in this bijou funky city. Can't wait to return. Thanks for having us.

The flat was clean, organised and well equipped and the roof terrace proved ideal for morning coffee and evening drinks. The flat was also ideally located for our purposes being in a more residential district although within easy reach of the main attractions. Damien and his team were also extremely helpful in responding promptly to any queries whilst providing some very good recommendations of places to visit. In conclusion we would certainly use the Picasso suites again.

Once of the most professionally handled of our many vacation rental experiences. The apartment we were in was perfectly located for seeing all the sights of fabulous Barcelona. It was compact, with a two burner cooktop (which we didn't use) and a small fridge. Just right for up to a week stay. For us may be too small for longer stay, but they have larger units. Only tiny issue was being left with just one set of towels for each person, but when asked for more got immediately. If you are planning on taking taxi from airport, we recommend using Picasso Suites service both for cost and expediency. Karolina was our contact and she is personable, professional, very helpful and delightful.

We enjoyed your stay at the Picasso Suite 1.3. The property is designed well and the facilities are good. It's within walking distances to major sites in the city. The best part is the food market next door which we enjoyed eating like the locals. The only drawback about the property is the busy traffic on Via de Valencia and more annoyingly the constant grating noise from vehicles running over some metal caps on the road surface. If it is not for that, I would rate this property 5 stars.

This apartment was everything we expected and more! Inside is spacious, clean and modern styling and perfect for a couple of any age. The location was spot on, meaning we could walk to la Rambla and other attractions (Spanish is pretty good anyway so you're never far away from the metro or bus). The only small minor thing was that in the morning it could be slowly noises with delivery vans outside on the main road in how morning, that said it definitely didn't impact out stay and will be recommending it to friends and family. Damien and his team were really helpful pre stay with all the details and info we needed! You'll have a great time staying here in the beautiful Barca!!!! Enjoy :-)

We enjoyed our stay at Picasso Suite 1.3 and were looking forward to "coming home" after visiting the numerous sights and relaxing in a pleasant atmosphere. A visit to the roof terrace is also highly recommended. The only downside to the suite is that the bedroom is adjacent to a street and the traffic noise limits the night's rest for those who are not used to it. We personally found the mattress to be a bit too hard. The location in the immediate vicinity of a market, supermarket as well as close to three metro stations can't be better. A heartfelt thanks to Karolina, who helped us to overcome various starting problems, which was available by phone at any time in case of problems, and was also available daily as a contact person during the breakfast time.

It's our first time booking an apartment via airbnb and the experience was amazing. The apartment looks exactly the same as shown from pictures: modern, stylish and new!!! Apartment is on the 1/F with lift! Wifi works fine all over the room. The breakfast is included (at the restaurant downstairs) and the waiters here were nice too! We went to the market and supermarket (just downstairs!) to buy sth for our light dinner too. For those who booked please read carefully about the instruction on how to check in the room~ This is secure... Just that we were so careless and nearly missed this out! We didn't not meet Damien during the visit however his team (esp Karolina) was extremely helpful! They nearly responded instantly via airbnb whenever we raised queries!!! Our experience staying here was fantastic! We should definitely recommend to our friends (which we did!) and should come back if we visit Barcelona in future!

Nice to stay in Damein flat, location very good, everything near you, quite area, clean and modren furnisher Recommended, and sure stay next time in same. Just teo things need to improve: TV & internet

My wife and I had a wonderful experience at Picasso Suites 1.3. Damien or a member of his team were immediately responsive to any questions we had both before arriving and during our stay. We arrived with no issues at all - a requested transfer was waiting for us at the airport - 25 minutes later we were walking into our apartment. The apartment itself is beautiful, very modern and new, with a part-time doorman available during the day. Dina stopped by five minutes after we arrived to make sure everything was OK and gave us some great local recommendations in Barcelona. The apartment A/C kept it cool in mid-August. There is some street noise at night for those that are very light sleepers, though nothing unusual for a large city. As others have noted, it is well located in a great part of town. Overall, we thought it was a fantastic find, priced right, and we would certainly stay there again.

Our stay in the Picasso Suites was everything we hoped it would be and more. Before we even arrived at the property, Damien arranged for a car service to pick us up from the airport. This way we were guaranteed a fair price and also eliminated the task of finding our own transportation from the airport to the flat. Retrieving the keys and welcome packet was easy, secure, and clearly explained. The apartment was immaculately clean and had a lovely contemporary design, situated in a quiet, safe, and beautiful neighborhood. Anything we needed from Damien was immediately and efficiently attended to, he was even kind enough to recommend some of his favorite local tapas restaurants (which quickly became highlights of our trip). We would heartily recommend Damien and his team for your travel needs. We plan to stay in one of his properties again on our next visit.

This apartment is an awesome place to stay in Barcelona. Everything is brand new and stylish and the location is super-central only a short walk from Passeig de Gracia. If you are tired from exploring Barcelona then there is a superb roofterrace with wonderful views where you can relax and enjoy a beer. Damien was a great host, everything is professionally managed and a small issue with my key was dealt with fast, efficiently and with a smile.

Stylish and newly furnished apartment. We traveled with our 10 month old son and Damien & co. arranged both a cot and high chair for us, as well as parking. Recommended!

Wonderful, essential and elegant apartment with adequate spaces despite being small. The location is central, you do not need to use public or private transport, if you want: we walked around Barcelona enjoying its artistic beauty and not. It has a great restaurant-bar for breakfast and for any lunches or dinners with helpful and friendly staff, typical market and supermarket just a short walk away. The host is super helpful and the building doorman is a delight. Exceptionally positive experience to do and repeat!!!!!

The flat is AWESOME: modern, clean, full equiped, wifi included. Great location really closed to supermarkets, main attractions, shops, tube/bus...Flexible time on arrival and departure, you feel like in your home :) Damien is a great host, very easy to communicate with him and really helpful to solve any little problem (the keys were left at downstairs restaurant but our arrival was on sunday so it was closed. Just a call to Damien and it was solved in a few minutes). In short, great apartment and better host, recommendable 100%
