You’ll feel like you walked into a lifestyle magazine. Featuring a bright, clean kitchen with everything you need to prepare your favorite meals. Gather around the kitchen island for casual snacking or enjoy a sit-down meal around the dining table.
Enjoy indoor/outdoor living at its finest. Cozy up by the fireplace in the spacious living room or slide open the patio doors and discover your own personal backyard oasis. Wrap up your evening with a cozy movie night in front of the large Smart TV.
SLEEPING SPACES
The main-floor premiere bedroom has a king-size bed and a gorgeous 4-piece ensuite, including a luxury soaker tub to ease away the stress of your day.
There are two bedrooms are on the upper level and have queen-size beds.
And another King bedroom with a 3 piece bathroom on the lower floor
There is a powder room on the main floor and a 3-piece bathroom on the upper level.

OUTSIDE
Featuring a large back deck, lounge chairs, and fire table, it’s the perfect setting to relax and enjoy good company. Quickly whip up steaks and burgers on the gas BBQ. Keep your drinks cool and refreshing with the outdoor cooler.
When dusk rolls around, make your way to the upper lounging area to catch breathtaking views of the sunset.

Lake access is a short walk to Tuyll street. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
NO Pets Allowed (Note: the owners have pets themselves-not allergy friendly)
Parking is limited to 3 vehicles
Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
Note: All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Max occupancy at all times is 8(6 Adults), violation will result in removal without refund.
Our Winter Weather Cancellation Policy is designed with your safety in mind. If winter conditions make travel unsafe or if there are road closures preventing you from reaching the cottage, you have flexible options:

❄ Reschedule – Move your booking to a future date that works for you.
❄ Full Refund – If rescheduling isn’t possible, you can cancel for a full refund.

Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color, or come enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests.

I'm Jennifer, I started CottageStays to share my own home with like-minded travelers who appreciate escaping to life at a slower pace. I've never forgotten how lucky I am to call Lake Huron home. Now more than ever, everyone is in need of the kind of peace and quiet that escaping to the lake can bring. It's my absolute privilege to be the one to provide families and friends a special place to gather and create memories while exploring an area so near and dear to me.
We keep our cleaning fees low by giving you the option to bring your own linens—or, for $20/person. you can rent ours! This includes sheets, pillowcases, bathroom towels, and more, all freshly laundered and ready for you. (Just remember to bring your own beach towels!)
You are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections & may have camera's outside at the entrance). Any house rules violation is grounds for immediate termination of your stay without refund. Max occupancy at all times is 8(6 Adults)

"Jennifer" is a warm and generous host for arrangements. You arrive to gorgeous landscaping and an inviting red door. The layout of this modern accommodation provides three private areas each with its own bath (3.5 baths total). The kitchen and living area are large and very well outfitted. Even a French Press and frother! The location is a quiet residential street that is a 3-minute drive and 15-minute walk to the Main Street of shops and restaurants and access to the water. This was perfect for siblings and spouses to reconnect...Highest recommendation!

Six of us including our Moms & Dads spent a wonderful long weekend at Jennifer's beautiful home! All the modernities, gorgeous kitchen, super clean - and the best part is the back deck that feels like youre in a peaceful little forest of tall pines and birch trees. A perfect place to grill out and sit by the fireplace. Exceeded all our expectations. Walk to Lake Huron. And short short drive or bike ride to Main Street. Lovely.
