Booked this home for our annual winter cottage trip with friends - it did NOT disappoint. The open concept great room had amazing lake views with beautiful sunsets - imagining it to be spectacular in the summer time! We enjoyed the games and puzzles provided, and took full advantage of the pin pong, pool table and hot tub. The host provided firewood for the wood burning fireplace in the great room which was absolutely perfect for this winter getaway. Definitely an amazing spot for family and friends to come together. The home is gorgeous, modern, and updated with a homey feel and was immaculate upon arrival, exactly as described from details in the listing and pictures. There’s plenty of living space and things to do inside the home upstairs and down, with beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. The host Jennifer was extremely accommodating and responded quickly to any questions about the property and listing. Thank you for the incredible weekend, we hope to book again!!

Absolutely loved our stay! This house is worth every penny—it’s incredibly spacious, and honestly, the photos don’t even come close to doing it justice. Every detail of the home is beautiful and thoughtfully decorated, right down to the fixtures. Jennifer was an absolute dream of a host—so helpful, responsive, and warm that communicating with her felt like chatting with a friend. She even surprised us with treats for our dogs on arrival, which meant so much to us. This was hands-down the best experience I’ve ever had with both a host and a property, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. 12/10 would recommend!!

This was the perfect place to celebrate my 50th birthday weekend with friends and family. The cottage is modern, beautifully maintained, and fully equipped with everything you could need. The lake view was absolutely stunning, and we were lucky enough to enjoy a snowfall—standing outside by the fire pit with a winter fire was truly picture-perfect. The games room was a big hit with the boys, and everyone loved the covered hot tub. Communication with Jennifer was excellent from start to finish. While there are quite a few stairs and it may not be ideal for those with mobility issues, the main floor features a large primary suite, a pull-out couch, and two bathrooms, which worked well for our group. We also appreciated the thoughtful special touches left for us and our dogs. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to return again.

We had a wonderful weekend at this property! The house is modern and beautifully appointed, with stunning lake views that made our stay truly special. The location is perfect – just a short drive to the charming town of Goderich, where we enjoyed exploring on foot. We were pleasantly surprised by the local museum, which had an impressive collection of exhibits – far more extensive than we expected for a small town! Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable getaway. Highly recommend!

We spent a long weekend at this lovely Airbnb near Goderich, right on the shores of Lake Huron. The home is spacious and private, with five bedrooms and a sixth room with a pullout couch — perfect for our group of adults and kids. With 3.5 bathrooms and a beachfront location offering stunning sunsets, the setting was a highlight. However, we did encounter a few issues. The house wasn’t as clean as expected for the price. We had to rewash many dishes due to a poor dishwasher, and several light bulbs were burnt out — including at the front door and over the master bathroom sinks. We paid over $8,000 for the weekend and were charged extra for linens, so we expected more polish and attention to detail. That said, the host, Jennifer, was friendly and responsive. When we noticed there weren’t enough wine glasses, she had more delivered right away. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot with lots of potential.

Tranquil Oasis is an exceptionally beautiful, architecturally stunning cottage with private access to beach on Lake Huron. The house is beautiful, modern, and spacious with great amenities. The kids loved playing whiffle ball, frisbee golf etc. on the huge, grassy lot overlooking Lake Huron. The sunsets were spectacular as were the smores roasted over the outdoor fire pit. This is a gorgeous cottage for any large family gathering. We were 8 adults and 6 kids. Our host, Jennifer was the BEST in answering questions immediately and providing local tips. Thank you, Jennifer!

This was a quiet, private, peaceful, and beautiful location. The house was nice with plenty of room for everyone. Being right on the water was what we wanted. The amenities were exactly what we wanted. The heated floors were awesome. Close to a town but still secluded. One thing to be aware of is having to rent linens at $20 per person which nobody expects to travel on vacation with bedsheets and thought it would be something included for the cost. Also, we were warned about the potholes in the road to the house but they were pretty drastic! All in all, would book again and hosts were very attentive.

Jennifer was an amazing host and super responsive to any requests or questions we had. She did everything possible to attend to our needs and was very accommodating. The cottage was beautiful with an amazing view right by Lake Huron with a hot tub on the balcony overlooking it. The area is quiet, isolated and peaceful and shared with a neighbour. Big shout out to Diane and her son who live next door and were extremely friendly and welcoming. They even helped get our car out when it got stuck due to a snow storm. We will definitely rebook again!

This home is fantastic! The photos are accurate to what is there. I visited with my family of 14 adults and our dogs and everyone was comfortable and entertained. The host is wonderful and responsive, sharing little bits of information during the stay. We will definitely return.

The Tranquil Oasis was exactly that. Lit fire place with a front row seat at some of the best sunsets in Canada. The property was modern but cozy. Our guests appreciated the plentiful bedrooms and bathrooms, the kitchen was well appointed for our large homemade meals. We made friends with the local cats and enjoyed walks on the beach, even a dip. Highly recommend.

This place was the perfect get away. It was a great location, easy private access to the lake. It was clean and spacious. Great hot tub with enough privacy and beautiful views. We had a group of 14 people and everyone had such a nice and relaxing getaway. Jennifer was a GREAT host. One of the best experiences. Super flexible, accommodating, understanding and helpful. One of the best experiences working with her. Thank you so much for everything. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a large get together especially with friends or family.

With a large group (10 adults and 7 children) we all had plenty of space! There were ample dishes, silverware cups cookware etc! Which I always find can be a hit or miss for large groups. The place was spotless, gorgeous and so easy to find our way around. The beds were the best and everyone had a fantastic time. The only thing to mention would be , We ended up there in the heatwave & the air conditioner could not keep up! So we were hot! Jennifer did have fans throughout and really great blinds to help defeat the heat, though. They thought of everything - games, inside and out. And extra fridge/freezer in the garage. She left my hubby a little birthday gift which was so sweet. Over all fabulous house, amazing views, the beach was gorgeous! Would recommend !

This was the perfect place for our family vacation! We spent five days here with 10 of us. The house is absolutely gorgeous! There is so much space for people to have privacy and the common areas are amazing for spending time together! The outdoor area is incredible. We spent a lot of time in the backyard and down on the beach. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was! But, it was also great to be a short drive to cute small towns and great restaurants. We had absolutely everything we needed there and more!

We had an amazing stay with a large group of people. The space is even more spacious than the pictures show with many areas to socialize and play games. The driveway is long and a bit of a bumpy ride, but absolutely did not have a negative impact on our stay. We would love to return someday!

Huge, modern home with lots of ammenities and space. The view of the lake, especially at sunset is amazing. The house is well stocked and has tons of windows to take in the beautiful views. The property and beach area are very private. The games spaces provided hours of entertainment (especially during the rain storms) and the large main floor combined with the outdoor living areas provided tons of space for guests to be together but not feel crowded. We had a great time!

Really great place to spend a weekend, great lake facing backyard to enjoy the sunset. the place is really tidy and space is affulent. Basement is well equipped with activities like pool and table tennis. we were group of friends who spend a weekend there and would definitely like to revisit to spend more time.

Beautiful place, modern, luxurious and secluded. I would definitely recommend this amazing cottage to my family and friends. Jennifer was helpful in every aspect during our stay from sending us recommendations and clear instructions to answering our every question promptly. The only bummer was that there were no working darts for the dartboard and the table tennis lacked decent rackets. It was not a big deal for us but take your own rackets if you want to use the table. Overall, we had an amazing time and would definitely consider booking it again in the future.

Pros: spacious, good speakers, pet friendly, fun games Cons: wifi didn’t work & we didn’t get the password to the functional locked admin wifi until the second day. We connected the modem via Ethernet to a laptop & it said the service was cancelled. Many of us needed wifi for work. The dishwasher broke & was fixed by us. We sent a message asking for a partial refund to reflect the unexpected disruptions. Jennifer called 2 hours later & was very abrasive & unprofessional saying she “was finding it hard to not take this personally” repetitively. Her behaviour & tone significantly impacted our night. She offered $45 for the repair & no compensation for the inconveniences. She then texted to offer a late checkout. She was professional by text but unprofessional over call where no paper trail is left. We understand things happen but when you pay 1K a day you expect minimal issues, especially not for an advertised service to be cancelled and not to be spoken to harshly on a family vacation

We booked Jennifer’s place to host an early Christmas celebration with our 5 grown children and our grandchildren. Jennifer constantly reached out with information and updates, which was appreciated. The house is stunning! Modern, spotlessly clean, high end and roomy. The basement was perfect as they is a pool table, ping pong and dart board so the older children were very happy. We had some questions and Jennifer responded very quickly and efficiently. We hope to rebook for next year! Highly recommend.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming cottage/beach house for a special family celebration. The abundance of amenities, including a pool table, ping pong set up and everyone's favourite hot tub, made our time here incredibly enjoyable. The house offered stunning views overlooking the lake. Sunset and sunrise were absolutely stunning which we enjoyed right from the living room. The cottage itself was impressively well-equipped with everything from plates to pots and utensils, ensuring a hassle-free stay. The brightness of the space added to the overall positive experience. Celebrating our parents' 50th anniversary couldn't have been more perfect. The owner's responsiveness was exceptional – any questions were met with immediate attention, and our needs were promptly taken care of. The cleanliness of the cottage was also notable, contributing to a comfortable and worry-free stay. Highly recommended for a memorable and enjoyable getaway! We will definitely book again!
