Step inside to discover an open-concept layout with floor-to-ceiling windows framing stunning lake views. The living room invites cozy nights by the gas fireplace, while the dining area seats 8 for memorable meals together. The kitchen is a chef's delight, equipped with modern amenities and everything you need to whip up delicious meals.
Upstairs, a second living room with a large Smart TV offers the ideal spot for movie nights or simply unwinding while overlooking the lake. With 4 bedrooms, this cottage comfortably sleeps 8 guests.

The fun continues with a huge front yard perfect for games like badminton and volleyball. Enjoy grilling up your favorite meals on the back deck with a propane BBQ, then gather around the campfire in the evening on the Adirondack chairs.
After a day of adventures or exploring nearby trails, there’s nothing better than slipping into the steaming hot tub and letting the warmth melt your cares away. Whether it’s a crisp morning soak with a coffee in hand or an evening under the stars, the hot tub is the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the serene surroundings.
For water enthusiasts, the lake access right in the backyard provides endless opportunities for adventure. Hop on the single kayak or paddleboard to explore the waters, or let the kids play all day on the lake mat.
Note: Approx. 50 stairs down your private access to the Lake. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
NOTE: Parking is limited to 4 vehicles

Linens are available for $20/person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. Max occupancy at all times is 8, violation will result in removal without refund. This property may be equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections & may have camera's outside at the entrance)

I'm Jennifer, I started CottageStays to share my own home with like-minded travelers who appreciate escaping to life at a slower pace. I've never forgotten how lucky I am to call Lake Huron home. We keep our cleaning fees low by giving you the option to bring your own linens—or, for $20/person. you can rent ours! This includes sheets, pillowcases, bathroom towels, and more, all freshly laundered and ready for you. (Just remember to bring your own beach towels!)

What a beautiful spot! We travelled with four adults and a large dog and fit easily into this cute cottage. They had many available amenities, even more than what was listed which was great! Jennifer was so responsive, she checked in constantly and has a full binder with instructions and local recommendations to look through upon arrival. Beds were all clean and very comfy. Fans were available which was great! The water was sand/rock, no weeds or anything. The way down to the beach was easy for us, but could be trickier for elderly or littles. During windy days there wasn’t much beach to sit or walk, but once it was calm we were able to kayak/paddleboard/walk the beach and it was SO beautiful! We also did walks through the neighbourhood, Bayfield and Grand Bend and loved it. Loved this unique little cottage! Thanks Jennifer!

We had a wonderful weekend stay with a group of friends. The property was peaceful, relaxing, and exactly what we were looking for. The view was absolutely stunning, and the beach was beautiful — the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the weekend together. Jennifer was an excellent host. She was very responsive, helpful, and always quick to answer any questions we had. We truly enjoyed our stay and created some great memories here. We would definitely love to come back in the future and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We just returned from a relaxing few days at Turkey Perch. The cottage was clean, bright and comfortable, we felt right at home. Jennifer always responded quickly and her instructions and guest book were very informative and helpful. The beach is also very clean and a great spot to watch beautiful sunsets. Perfect location just to relax, hang out in the hot tub or around the fire or adventure out to explore surrounding towns, enjoy local restaurants, ice cream shops and beaches. We would highly recommend.
