The check-in process was successfully completed with clear instructions. We expected too much from the apartment, leaning on previous reviews and were surprised by the negative experiences. The view on the balcony wasn't exactly what we expected, we were a little disappointed when the view was directly on the train tracks(old graffiti, etc.) and not the beach sand. Sure, you can see the ocean in the distance, but we were expecting a more "beautiful" view. The bedroom door was broken, which came to fix upon request and pluses. It looks like there was sometimes a hot tub in the second toilet, this didn't work for us, and there was ice cold water in the shower if at the same time the faucet was on in the rest of the apartment. We found a huge centipede in the bathroom one day, and there were also a lot of small ants in the apartment. Balcony furniture not cleaned up/food waste on balcony. We also had to wash the dishes when we arrived. In the pool area often full and not enough sun loungers. Pool quite dirty from the grass. The key didn't work for the other 2 pools.

Lovely apartment with excellent views to the sea. The apartment was simple but perfect for our needs. The aircon was a welcome addition as it’s already getting hot in Spain at night in June! The complex was quiet but nicely maintained. One thing worth noting if you don’t have a car (we didn’t) is that the walk to the beach is quite steep… to be honest it did me no harm to walk off some of the holiday excesses but it is not for the faint hearted!

I had a very restorative two week stay here. The uninterrupted expanse of the ocean and sky that you see from the apartment is so peaceful. The terrace is huge and has great furniture. And the sunrises and sunsets were awe inspiring. Other reviews talk about the hills - I did not have a car during my stay and it was fine. If you are mobility impaired, you would probably want a car, but otherwise it's very doable. And the benefit of being up the hill is that it is a very private and calm area. I want to come back every year!

Amazing location. Very hilly but once you’ve done it once, it becomes like second nature. Beautiful views and a very homely apartment. I would definitely recommend this apartment and I will definitely be visiting here again!

We loved our stay in Carvajal , it was a beautiful spot , very relaxing. The best equipped kitchen, everything you’d need and more. Very clean lovely bed linen. Overall a great place to stay. Might get a car the next time , I didn’t mind the one two hills but found it a little hard with the heat but I would go back.

Very pleased with our stay. Amazing views and the apartment was very well kitted out. Very responsive communications. A minor maintenance issue was quickly resolved. The pool area is very nice, was quiet when we were there and had shady spots. Only thing is to be aware that it is very hilly to walk there, even if super-fit. So either need a car or be prepared for steep hill when coming/going. Quiet location, but easy to get places from the nearly train station (which is audible, but not a problem).

This roof top apartment is lovely. We didn’t hire a car & valued how close it was to the station. It is a hilly area so you do have to get used to walking up steep hills if you choose not to hire a car. The apartment block is lovely & the roof terrace is a real bonus. The apartment is spacious with a very well equipped kitchen & great to have a starter cleaning pack. The local train line into Malaga or Fuengirola is great & we walked to a bigger supermarket in Fuengirola & took the train back. We loved this apartment & would definitely book it again

A very well presented apartment. The views were excellent and the outside space really adds to the property. The apartment is clean, tidy and well resourced with appliances. It was perfect for a family of four seeking a break in the sunshine! The pool area is a nice option if you dont fancy a walk down to the beach. The accessibility of the train makes it an easy transfer from malaga airport or a short trip in to fuengirola itself

Pleasant stay, functional apartment, ideal for 2 to 4 people and close to beaches accessible on foot. The private terrace is large and very pleasant. If the train is close below, it is discreet and not working at night. So we are very happy with our stay

This is the second time I've stayed here in the last 12 months and I must say on both occasions they've really done well with the level of service they provide is great and the cleanliness is top-notch can't fault tit. The apartment is a 5-minute walk from the train station it's right next to it, it has some lovely views and it's very private/peaceful I totally recommend this to the apartment to anyone I will be back again and again. We stayed at Frank's in July and it was simply wonderful. Very clean apartment, beautiful, superb terrace, perfect location. You can walk to the beach (watch out for the rocks). The place to collect the keys to the apartment is however a little far-fetched and it lacks precision. Especially when you arrive in the evening. We loved our stay and recommend this apartment on the Costa del Sol :)

Amazing apartment with a phenomenal wrap around balcony. Pictures don’t do it justice. Couple of mins walk down the hill to the beach/chiringuitos but quite steep on the way back so worth bearing in mind. Pool area really well maintained and option to use 3 pools in the development. Would definitely stay again.

In itself great apartment, which would do some minor renovations well (bathroom, especially shower wall, and kitchen as well as wall in the hallway). Lots of storage space, lots of cooking utensils, really great terrace! The shampoo provided according to the description were only two small rehearsals. Also, some things were missing that I would have expected in an apartment (which are not mentioned in the apartment description). There were flushing sponges, kitchen towels, rags or the like, and dishwasher tablets, which should be planned. In addition, there was only one garbage bag and a rather small supply of toilet paper. Despite this criticism: overall a really nice apartment.

If the house had not been "somewhat neglected" the stay would have been magnificent. Things that are not in good condition: small bathroom screen in poor condition, bathtub in the bathroom of the room with a tile out of place and the jacuzzi not working, scarce dishes (several dishes each from his father and his mother), two pans, one smaller than the other, curtains in the main room torn, and I'm sure we missed something. It's a shame because the house is beautiful and is in the conditions I mentioned. The communication was very good, they responded to all our messages. Late check-in, we let us know that we were arriving at 2:00 pm and they checked us out and in the end we had to check in at 4:30pm because the house was unclean. Too bad everything.

the appartment needs urgently some extra maintenance services such as replacing the shower curtains in both bathrooms as they are not keeping the water inside. the oven looks dangerous to me , TV does not work, curains in master bedroom badly conditions... there was no remote control for the air condition in the living room. we did appreciate all your efforts to get us the access key to the pool which unfortunaltey took almost a week , the garage which belongs to this appartments is in very bad conditions, dirty and lots of rubbish around. very bad impression when one arrives .. happy that wifi worked well and we could gladly enjoy the terrace overlooking the sea ...

We had a good stay here in August. It’s a really nice apartment with good views. Lovely outdoor area. It is a good walk to get to the beach from the apartment and it’s a hilly walk. We had a car so it wasn’t a problem for us. The pool was quite and we had it to ourselves everyday. Overall we had a good stay.

We stayed in this apartment for 7 days. Everything was as advertised, the terrace is very large and well appointed and the underground parking was convenient. Beach, grocery stores, restaurants and nearby shops. Recommended.

The place is very up the hill. But the view on the ocean and the balcony is worthy. The appartement is very comfortable and it’s a little off the big crowd from Fuengirola and Los Bolises which I envoy after all. You can go to those places is 5 minutes with the train. I got a problem with my pick-up transport and I send a message to Franck. Even though it was late at night he was able To solve the issue. I really appreciate it

Frank's apartment is located in a new development with a pool and garage. Located 300 meters from the Carvajal train station, so its location is perfect for visiting places like Malaga, Marbella, Mijas, Ronda. Beach access is 800 meters away on foot about 500 meters if the stairs of the access to the platform are used. The main drawback is the climbing and lowering slope. The apartment has everything you need for an unforgettable stay. The views from the terrace are wonderful views from the terrace. One point to improve is bedding. We would also recommend contacting the company that manages the apartment well in advance because they are slow to respond. The point in their favor is that they waited for us for half an hour to proceed with the key exchange.

A beautiful apartment with amazing panoramic sea views! It's a good sized space inside with everything you can need and the icing on the cake is the stunning outside verandah that stretches across the whole width of the apartment....we spent most of our time here! There's a lovely swimming pool with lots of space and sunbeds which was never really busy even though we visited in August. There's a steep hill to the apartment but it's fairly short and less than 10 mins to the beach at Carvajal which was lovely and 5 mins to the train station with trains to Fuengirola and Benalmadena only 5 mins either way. Great hospitality and communication from Frank and Niki and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Took my children there this summer for 10 nights, apartment was great for a chill out holiday, 5 minutes walk from train station which we used quite often to get around. Kids loved the pool in which I loved the rooftop terrace. The place was very clean whith comfortable beds the wifi was ideal and we had 7 devices linked up to it. If you want a quiet getaway away from the crowds then I would reccomend this apartment.

The good points were… • View from roof terrace towards the sea • Decent pool area with easy access • Garage parking. Parking can be a challenge in the area, so if you have a car then the underground parking is very useful • Good WiFi and AC • Host’s communications were reliable The minus points were… • No easy walking access to beach and sea front shops as a rail track runs between the apartment and beach. It takes approx. 15 minutes to walk with steep hills in-between. Not ideal if carrying beach items or shopping or have young children • When using the shower in the on-suite bathroom it seems to trigger the jacuzzi functionality in the bath. Cannot turn off and loud clunking sounds persist for ages afterwards • No practical information in the apartment manual like where to take rubbish/recycling) • Needs some basic renovations (tired rental look)

Frank’s apartment is in a stunning location with amazing sea views! The area is quiet but really well connected to Malaga, Fuengirola and Torremolinos via the frequent train which is less than a 5 minute walk away! There is a big hill but it’s short and you get used to it!! The apartment is spacious, comfy and so well equipped, with everything we needed to cook and have a wonderful relaxing hol!

Over all great stay! Lovely apartment with sea views in a nice quiet area, up a big hill but very close to the train station and sea. We had a really great time in the apartment. Garage under the building with direct access to your frontdoor on the third Floor. Terrace is fulltime equiped with loungeset and high dinnertabel. Views are wonderful. We return for sure when we visit Fuengirola again. Its for us the best apartment which we have rented in the area.

I booked the first time through Airbnb and was curious, we were only positively surprised. From the first communication with Frank and the friendly welcome of Niki, the contact with the hosts was great. Also questions during the stay were always answered immediately. The apartment was super nice, everything was thought of, from small items such as washing powder, dishwasher detergent, etc., everything was there. The apartment overall is super modern and the view is a dream. I can only recommend the apartment. If we go on vacation in Andalusia again, for sure again in an apartment of Frank and Niki.

The apartment is amazing. It had everything you need to make your holiday in Fuengirola the very best. Every morning we sat on the terrace looking over the sea - even got to see a few dolphins in some mornings. Everything in the apartment was brand new, the Wi-Fi worked perfectly, an air conditioner in every room and a private parking lot in the basement. We were over our heads happy! The only downside is the location. For elderly people, the walk to and from the beach can be hard unless you have a car or a scooter. We will most definitly be coming back to this apartment.

Beautiful apartment with sea views. Well equipped kitchen allowing us to cook a few meals in and sit out at the terrace dining table. TV with uk and European channels and high quality blue tooth speakers. Terrace was fabulous with plenty of comfy seating areas. There is access to a lovey pool area which was always fairly quiet when we were there. The apartment is on a hilly area so be prepared for a steep climb.
