The place was ok but I wished that I had read more reviews before booking “Reservation at Garden & Pool apartment in Mijas.” The apartment is run as part of a management company. Reviews are not just for the property we rented but for many properties so it’s difficult to relate just to one. There are themes from other clients that should be noted: -Everything extra comes with a fee. -Very basic starter pack. -Leaving can be difficult and stressful. There were two of us but I had to run from the security gate (entry/exit to the compound) back to lock the keys in the house on leaving while my partner stood in the gate to stop it closing. If we hadn’t made it, I would have been locked inside the gate until another resident entered or left the complex. The place is in general need of decoration and although generally clean, there were very old cobwebs above the curtains. It was a very peaceful place to stay which we appreciated along with a plenty of equipment in the kitchen for cooking
