Exciting and different with a rooftop house. Large lovely terrace with several different seating areas. However, it got incredibly hot with metal roof and poor insulation. Especially as it was not allowed to use the AC and awning when you were not in the apartment. Soap and toilet paper were only enough for 24 hours. Shampoo was missing. Location was great. In the middle of the mix with close to the best beach

Beautiful apartment, great location. The apartment was even better in real life, bigger than it seems off from the pictures. Can highly recommend! I’m not sure if the rooftop terrace is shared with other people in the building but I didn’t at least see anyone on it.

I had a wonderful stay in this lovely apartment! The photos don't really do it justice. It's much bigger than it appears. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything from the usual plates and cutlery to glass, jugs, chopping boards and even some tupperware. The bed is really comfortable and there are plenty of pillows. The terrace is the real star of the show though and gets the sun from around mid-morning until sunset every day. As others have noted, it is a shared terrace but I didn't see a single other person the entire week. One minor point of note is that the lift only goes to the third floor so you do have to walk up the final set of steps to the apartment. I would absolutely stay here again.

Asked for a early check-in from 12 o'clock a week before the reservation, to which Costarentals replied that it costs 29€ and they can confirm it a day earlier. Day before they replied that there will be cleaners in the apartment in the morning, but they will let me know when they are finished. At Costarentals office we found out that the cleaners are not in the apartment yet. No one had also booked the apartment the previous day so wondered why the apartment was not cleaned already after the previous reservation. Eventually we got the keys at 4PM. We had to cancel the business meetings that were planned for the day of arrival keeping in mind that the cleaners who were supposed to be there in the morning would have finished by noon or by 2PM at max. Apartment keys pick-up office was almost 2 km's away which was not read in any of the apartment's information. Costarentals staff member showed up without any warning at the apartment to collect the keys one day before our check-out date.

Beautiful apartment and terrace. Bed was super comfortable and kitchen sleek, cool and clean. Invites you to cook. Bathroom has everything you need. Good water pressure ja warm water. Grocery store was opposite door, super handy. I would recommend the place just for two people tough. Maybe for a romantic holiday. Great place and would love to return!

I stayed in this apartment for a week in June. The place is located in the heart of Los Boliches, just a couple of minutes from the beach, train and all the shops and restaurants you could need. E.g opposite the main entrance there is a grocery store. Apartment is an atico apartment with fairly large terrace with evening sun (sun started shining there around 11 am in June) the terrace is in common use (for other residents in the building as well) but during my time there I didn’t see anyone else. This was not very clearly stated in the introduction so please note this. I didn’t mind this but someone else might I was working remotely whole week and Wi-Fi was really good, the building was quiet and air conditioning worked well even though it was quite hot outside during the week and sun was shining there all day. Bed was really comfy and the apartment was clean and tidy. An extra note that it was very well equipped (the kitchen amenities, there were extra blankets and pillows etc.) probably one of the best equipped here on the coast I’ve seen! And I have stayed in quite many apartments here. The only reason for criticism was their check-in process. Be prepared to pick up the keys a bit further away, this came as a surprise to me and required some extra arrangements on a short notice. Otherwise I can really recommend the place and enjoyed my time there!

The place is very well located , 1 block near the beach / park / supermarket / train station. Home is very well equipped for a long stay and house cooking . The terrace is great for having a nice lunch .

- There is a really BAD smell in the bathroom from the sewer I belive :/ Bought air-fresheners but nothing helped. - The hot water takes a really long time to arrive. - There was one extra roll of toiletpaper for 10 days and a tiny tiny soap, showergel and shampoo. So bring your own. - In the kitchen there is no tea or coffe, and no towel-paper. + I LOVED the roof terrass though! Amazing! The sun arrives on the terrace around 11,30. Only thing I missed is that you can not see the sea. Then you have sunshine on the terrace until the sun sets. + The location is SUPERB. Right between the trainstation and the sea. If I was garanteed the stench was eliminated in the bathroom I would absolutely go back.

Me & my boyfriend where’s staying at “franks” Airbnb for a week. The location itself is great if you wanna live in centrum of the city or near the beach. But! If you do care about the apartment itself and if it’s equipped or not as they describe, then it’s not the place. There were a lot of “small” things that they could do better, but when small becomes into more, then you can’t just ignore it. There was no light in the stairway from the 3rd floor and up. The washing machine was outside the terrace, which means we had to have the doors unlocked to plug the machine in to a outlet from the living room. That wasn’t safe either, cause it was dripping water near the outlet. Also the terrace isn’t private, it’s common, so every neighbour has access, which means everybody could come in to out apartment if we needed to wash clothes. There was also nothing to wash clothes with, so we needed to use money on that too. The drying rack was rusty which meant that there was rust all over our clothes. There was no tea, coffee, sugar or small things like that in the kitchen. Not even a cloth to wipe off with. There was only 2 rolls of toiletpaper for two people for a week and a TINY (30 ml) shampoo/body wash. Also there was only 1 towel for each person. The curtains couldn’t open or close. The check in was so confusing cause we weren’t talking with 1 host but 3/4 and the last one who was supposed to deliver our keys all of a sudden didn’t had the time cause he needed to be somewhere else, which meant that I needed to find a friend who could drive me to another city to pick up the keys! Very unprofessional tbh. Also it’s hard to communicate cause two of the “host” where talking Swedish which we don’t understand very well. This is not what i would call a penthouse, but a cottage house. All in all it was nice to have a place to stay but I wouldn’t recommend this before they change these things.

Great apartment with huge sunny terrace (available for all residents). However, during our stay (5 nights) we did not see anyone else using it. The apartment is close to the beach and there's a great selection of restaurants and cafes close by. And a good supermarket across the street (El Jamón). Note that the apartment do not have a dishwasher.

This apartment is located in the middle of all what you need in a vacation. Beach is around the corner, lot's of good restaurants around it, local supermarket 20 meters from outdoor in the next building. Parking was confusing in the beginning, but when i loaded the "Telpark" App, it started to make sense and very easy to pay it even remotely. The Terrace was superb. The apartment was very silent, clean and no bugs at all was seen. Only the warm water needed to be waited for a minute or so to run, but then again it is very common in the whole cost area houses and not the fault of the apartment itself. We had a great vacation in this apartment.

In general we had an excellent stay at this place. The apartment is well equipped, everything was clean, the location is perfect and the terrace is great. One should be aware that as of the beginning of october 2019, there is still much construction work going on the adjacent building, which can be noisy at times. It happened more than once that the construction workers actually came over to our terrace for different, construction-related reasons. Nothing negative about Frank and his company in this regard though, they were all good.

I would rate my experience with an 8.5/10. Unbeatable location. Very nice, cozy and well laid-out loft. Well equipped with everything needed to spend a very pleasant stay. Very comfortable bed and sofa bed. A fairly large and pleasant terrace. As the only downsides I would say the bathroom constantly had a very unpleasant sewer/downhill odor. That smell was present for the 7 days we were there. As for the shower, the water pressure was quite low, even with all the faucets in the apartment closed. Finally, to make the guests' stay more pleasant, I would suggest some kind of blinds on all the windows, since having only the curtains, the light that enters from dawn (8 am) is somewhat annoying and prevents rest as much as is desirable. Overall, very good experience. I recommend staying in this apartment and of course I would repeat.

The location is excellent, the apartment clean and comfortable (apart from the bed!) Ongoing building works but unfortunately not a lot can be done about this. I would certainly return in the future if a new bed was there!!!

Lovely, clean apartment in a brilliant location. Easy walk to the beach, supermarket on doorstep and loads of bars and restaurants within strolling distance. Couple minutes walk from the train station so very easy to get to from the Airport. Apartment was reasonably well equipped but thought provision of one bath towel each and one hand towel between us for the week was not very generous. Frank was polite and helpful on our arrival. We had booked this place as the roof terrace was a space we envisioned using a lot. But, unfortunately, the construction work being carried out on next door building is major and disruptive. We could cope with the noise (from 8 am in the morning) but having workers wandering about on the roof and being able to overlook us as we tried to chill in the afternoon sunshine was most off-putting. Turns out we paid for a roof terrace just to hang some washing out on. Not Frank's fault that this work is going on but I really don't think we would have booked if we had been aware before of the extent of the construction. All in all though, we enjoyed being in Los Boliches and will return to the area at some point.

Great accommodation, very centrally located, everything within walking distance. And what we liked very, very much was the huge terrace, where the sun was from 11 am to 9 pm. 2 always working air conditioners, loving details, books, cleaning supplies, hygiene items, garbage bags, cling film, spices, oil, we lacked nothing.

Frank's apartment is a sun lover's dream. The terrace is suitable for the sun from noon to sunset. And everything you need is there and a little more! I recommend for a couple or up to 2 travelers with small children because the bed from the sofa bed is pretty narrow.

What a perfect place to stay, travel from Malaga airport to Los Boliches couldn’t be easier by train, the apartment is a very short walk no problem even with a case, the location is ideal, 2 minutes to the seafront, loads of lovely bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Supermarket a few steps away.. The apartment had a real bright spacious feel and the terrace is perfect. A fabulous find for 2 people, 4 might find it a little cramped. There is a lift, and 2 flights of stairs to climb at the top. We absolutely loved our stay here and would highly recommend.

This apartment was in a great location for everything! We know Los Boliches well and would definitely stay again. Our host Frank was always at hand with any help we needed. Being a penthouse it gave you the extra space to enjoy the roof terrace.
