Absolute pearl of the lake which is nearby 10 kilometers southeast of Annecy city center, raised by the green and soft relief of « Massif des Bauges » in the backyard, the small village of Duingt will perfectly welcome you for your next stay.
This nice studio has been lately renovated with lots of taste, giving high priority to full light. Fully equipped, perfectly suitable for 2 persons (and even more suitable for one couple and one baby with a baby crib that we can provide you on simple request)
"les Libellules - Studio pieds dans l'eau, plage" property is composed as follows:
- The living-dining area opens onto a fully-equipped kitchen and can accommodate up to 4 people.
- A comfortable queensize 160x200 cm double bed, ideal for waking up to the view.
- Its two wall-to-wall bay windows provide direct access to the 110 sq. f balcony, offering an unrivalled 180° view from the 3rd and penultimate floor of the building. Here, you can contemplate the remains of the Château de Duingt, the nearby lake shore and the surrounding mountains.
- The apartment also includes a separate bathroom with Wc.
For information another apartment made of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms adjoined to the studio can be rent together to finally offer a full capacity of 8 persons.
Flushed by the waters, the Residence « Les Libellules » includes a direct access to the lake for the ones who come to stay. The cycle track passes just behind the Residence and through the village. Thereby, it will be nice and easy for you to visit Annecy (25mns), to go to the local shops or on the next side of the lake with your bike.
The residence is equipped with a lift which gives the easy access for disabled persons. Your rental includes a private and free parking place.

About Duingt….
Duingt is located on the western side of the Annecy Lake and has definitely earned it’s nickname "Pearl of the Lake".
Next to St Jorioz, Duingt (pronounced Doh-Wah!), offers an exceptional mountain and lake view. The cycle track from Annecy to Ugines (35kms) crosses the village and connects the villages along the lake very easily by bike.
The "best bakery of the lake" is located in Duingt, as well as a bookstore, and high-quality cuisine (Clos Marcel or Spinaker for example).
Duingt is a fabulous place for a relaxing holiday in both the summer and winter times.
In summer :
-Cycling (bike path to go around the lake is in front of the house)
-Hiking (departure of many walks from the house: Entrevernes, Saint-Jorioz)
-Sailing, pedal boating, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddle, the Wake Board in front of the house but also water skiing (we will gladly put you in touch with our local partner from Baie des Voiles, Rico!)
-Paragliding
-The average of walks mountains from the Sambuy (30mins) or Semnoz (20mins)
-Summer sledging from the station Semnoz
-An adventure park in Talloires (20mins) or Tamie (35mins)
In winter :
-Cross country skiing, sledding track or from the family resort Semnoz (20mins), possibility of rental equipment with our partner in Sevrier (5mins)
-The cross country or track is also practiced in La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand (35-40mns); Seizures (40mns), Les 3 Vallées (about 1 hour)
-Snowshoeing in Semnoz

Lovely clean studio on 3rd floor and really comfortable queen sized bed and cushions.. Great balcony - just need a lamp in the evening. Superb view of the lake and great access to swim there with our dog without having to go to a crowded beach. Great to have secured parking opposite building and steps underground road to access actual building. Not so easy with suitcases. Excellent bakery in the village. Attention with dogs : certain residents do not like dogs on the grass anywhere inside the gates - best to cross the road. However, no restrictions mentioned. Highly recommend and although a little expensive all cleaning included and well worth it. Remember to. book restaurants, order pizzas in advance by telephone to avoid long delays.
