Great place and location! I would stay here again. Host (not Bart ... there is no "Bart") was very responsive and proactive with tips and helpfulness. Had some issues getting access on time and a few items not working, but host responded very quickly and no complaints. Like many, unit is at bottom of narrow stairs so be prepared if you have large luggage or walking issues. FYI, access code and check-in/out details on 3rd party website, which host declares. Scan of ID and photo required, but manageable. Again, I would stay here again.

This was the perfect place for my husband, myself and our teenage son. Very walkable neighborhood. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. Paddington station and Heathrow Express 5min walk. Also the unit is charming with lots of amenities. The owner was great at communicating and always responded quickly. Highly recommend

Very clean and cozy! Perfect location for travel to and from Paddington Station, and there were great dining and shopping options within blocks. Bart was very communicative and helpful. Comfy bed and very quiet—we could barely hear street noise at all. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved Bart’s place! It was perfect for our needs. The house was clean, comfortable and in a great location. We were able to get to the tube in a few blocks, lots of restaurants and coffee shops. We would love to stay at Bart’s place next time we are in London!

my kids love this house. the washing machine and dryer helps me lots to clean up the dirty cloths.there also has kithchen and has big fridge.
very near to Hyde Park, Oxford street and tourist attractions. just walking distance.

I love it because halal food is everywhere especially Melur Restaurant & Putera Putri Restaurant. LOVE it!

got a musty smell from the hall…need to fresh up the odour.

Gezellig appartement, zeer centraal gelegen.
Ruime woonkamer en 1 ruime slaapkamer met 1 ruim/goed bed.
Daarnaast is er nog een kleine slaapkamer met 120cm bed. Dit was iets krap.
De keuken was perfect! Voor ons als gezin een prima plek om te overnachten voor 5 dagen Londen!
Communicatie was duidelijk.

Overall a positive stayPositives: apt is stocked with everything you need such hand soap, body wash, shampoo, paper towels and dish soap/sponge, kitchen cooking/ serving items and appliances; close to Paddington station which has several Tube lines; safety was taken into account with hallway markers on steps; able to control temp; beautiful neighborhood; overall clean; Washer/dryer was the best and they provide detergent!; easy check in and out.Negatives: Mattresses were so hard that our backs ached every morning; need some fixing such as mirrors on closets/lamp which are cracked but taped up for safety; towel hook in 1/2 bath broken; window in full bathroom cannot close but there is a window guard so no one can come in; the flat is in the basement - go down steps to enter. The area where the front door could be spruced up. But they did try to make it safer to walk down narrow steps; We had trouble with door locks and hard to turn the door lock to open door. Would be nice to have a different lock and doorknob to open the door.

The main bedroom was a lovely size, lounge comfy and kitchen was clean with everything needed.
The location was great with a 3 minute walk to the Elizabeth line at Paddington station.

The key box is not the easiest to actually get open. Popping in the code is fine but we had difficulty actually opening it.
The second bedroom is more like a cupboard even though it has a double bed.
The bathroom was ok but the plumbing had something drastically wrong. It made so much banging noise it must have woken the neighbours.
The front door to the apartment could do with a handle on the inside so that you can pull the door open. The door is tight in the frame and not much to get hold of to be able to pull it open.
I booked the apartment because it had outside space as my colleague is a smoker, only to find that smoking is not permitted outside as it is a ventilation shaft.

The location was perfect, 1 block from Paddington station. Easy to find and get in. It is located in the basement. The outside and leading to the apartment looks a bit sketch but once you are in it wasn’t bad. BART was great at communication. We needed more fans and he brought them right away. Also we had a fridge issue and he tried resolving it quickly as well.
The apt was adequate for us. There is master bedroom and another bedroom but it’s more like closet. The living room is good with a small outside patio. It has pretty much all we needed. Beds were comfortable, pillows not so much, stuffed with feathers and go flat instantly but I think it’s English thing. The shower is handheld only, water pressure is great. There is a very bright night light right out of the bedroom window but there is a light blocking shade so it wasn’t horrible. No air conditioner but the fans were adequate, we were there in July.

The apartment is in an excellent location—just a 5-minute walk from Paddington Station, with plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making it very convenient for daily life. The unit has two bedrooms: one spacious and the other a bit smaller, which is perfect for families traveling with children. The kitchen is large and well-equipped, making it easy to cook meals. This property is steps from the Paddington train/metro station. Using the Heathrow Express got us from the airport to this flat in about 20 minutes! The street is lovely and very quiet. Even with the windows open all night, there were no disturbances.This flat is a quick walk to Hyde Park/Kensington Gardens. Walk to Notting Hill and enjoy the Portobello Road Markets.The space was great for our family of 4. There is 1 full bath and one powder room (sink and toilet). There is a Nespresso coffee machine that uses the larger pucks. Bart was super responsive and even brought us extra fans during our VERY hot stay. Air circulation was an issue on those hot, sunny days in London which I hear are few and far between.

Loved the place. Looks exactly like in the pictures. It was super hot in London the week we were there and while the apartment doesn't have AC the host left plenty of fans and they were a lifesaver. We couldn't find the hairdryer (although it ended up being exactly where you would expect it, duh) and we had an answer and directions within a few minutes.
The location is just one street from Paddington station which worked great for us as we arrived at Heathrow and could take the Heathrow Express straight to Paddington.
The neighborhood was more a choice of convenience but it turned out to be super fun. There is an area called Little Venice right on the other side of Paddington with fun restaurants and bars along a canal.
Bottom line: we loved our stay and would stay here again next time we're in London.

Nice place, bigger than I thought it would be. One thing I liked - they said in the leaving instructions “don’t clean, we’ll do that!” Which is a welcome change from Airbnbs that charge an astronomical cleaning fee (this one doesn’t) and then expect you to spend an hour scrubbing the place before you leave.
Anyway, good location. Right next to Paddington station, comfortable bed, lounge, kitchen area. Nice atmos all round really.

I'm not sure if it shows up in the VRBO listing, but this is SO close to Paddington. Seriously, you could leave out the east entrance and practically trip into the flat. But the neighborhood was quiet and felt safe; even though we were in the basement, we kept the windows open in our bedroom overnight with no concern, and no rude awakenings. Another green flag: EXTREMELY clean. I'm a bit of a neat freak, and I was immediately struck by how well-tidied the flat was and how spotless the linens were. It IS a historic property, so if you've never been in one, you should plan to give a small amount of grace to the steps down into the flat and in the layout (third compliment: they did so well with the small space they had, storage for DAYS), but the appliances are modern and work well. And the flat was provisioned well, no hodgepodge of thrift store cutlery here. French press and a nice kettle, plus a full complement of dishes and cooking supplies. Communication was prompt and helpful, the CSR team is ace. This was a great stay!

The flat was as pictured. It was a good space for us, a family of 4. The 2nd room ONLY fits the queen size bed and nothing else, my children were good with that space. It was a good value for the location and neighborhood. We easily rode the Heathrow express train from the airport and arrived within 15mins, super easy location for airport travel. The host was very responsive with our communication all week, Always replied and accommodating. We were always a few minutes away from ALL the London attractions and train stations. By car everything was within a 10-15min car drive, by tube 20-30minutes or so. Plenty of restaurants/ cafe/ bakeries and markets in walking distance.

Joli appartement londonien en rez-de-chaussée semi enterré. Dans un quartier très calme et idéal pour se reposer après le tumulte des journées et soirées londoniennes agitées et bruyantes.
Une chambre parentale spacieuse, un salon-cuisine bien équipé et très confortable donnant une courette et une deuxième petite chambre qui a été parfaite pour nos deux filles.
Tout était d’une propreté impeccable ! Les serviettes et produits de nécessité étaient fournis.
La communication avec Bart a toujours été fluide et aimable. Il a toujours été très réactif.
Nous recommandons pour visiter Londres !

入住的时候是晚上了，房间一股子味道，我感觉房间很久没有人住了。整个厨房触感比较的油腻，所以后面跟本没有用过厨房，当天点的披萨想用一下烤箱也是坏掉的，暖气没有开，厨房的排气机整夜在响，开关第二天才找到，木质的门一个晚上在嘚嘚嘚的响，地板是空心的走路就有回响，房间在底下一层靠近一个必须要走的楼梯，因为声响太多，一个晚上没睡，凌晨3点还有人要楼梯走上走下。本来这些问题我都不想给房东差评，故事从退房后2个小时说起，工作人员发了我几张照片，显示镜子上，某个不锈钢位置有污渍，加上墙角几个油手印，我清楚的记得最后收牙刷的时候镜子是干净的，镜子上刮了白色的乳状的东西，跟工作员多次沟通告知我退房的时候，其他不确定固为确实没有检查过，这油手印，油污在什么位置我的确是没有留取证据，但是镜子确定是干净的，可是工作人员认定是我弄的，其实就是要收取清理费，镜子跟不锈钢位置的脏污就算是我弄的一张纸巾就可以解决，不知道房东请的工作人员什么能力，也不知道我们做为一个住店的客人，除了入住的时候要检查卫生，难道我退房的还要帮你们打扫卫生吗？最好留取照片以证清白，最后我告诉对方，你没有证据说明这是我弄的，如果要恶意收取我的清理费，我会向平台投诉，才退回我的押金。预定前请大家擦亮眼睛，我之前是看到评论好才预定的。结果房间好不好算了毕竟自己选的，但是最后退房的行为让我感觉是受到歧视了，前面住了伦敦的酒店，曼城，爱丁堡的名宿，整个11天的行程从未发现什么问题，工作人员热情专业一直印象很好。回国的最后3天选的这里，结果让我开眲了。

The property was comfortable and in a good area. The property manager was helpful and friendly. It was great having access to a washing machine, dryer and clothes airer.

The apartment could do with a little maintenance and some upkeep. The oven wouldn’t work, although the property manager did come around straight away to try and repair it.

Excellent location just 2-3 minute from the subway station and grocery stores nearby. A lot of restaurant and take aways bars around. Very comfortable apartment- The property quite big. We were family of 3 adults - it was perfect for us. The kitchen was well equipped. Dishwasher and washing machine makes your stay really easy. We had a wonderful time there -

The apartment was in a prime location, so close to bus and train stops. Was very quaint. Washer and dryer were fabulous for a family as was the little courtyard. The furnishings were lovely and gave the apartment a great ambiance.

Second bedroom as advertised is very small but manageable. The apartment is showing a little wear and tare however it did not impact our stay at all.

BART was a great communicator and really helpful throughout our entire stay. The location is fantastic, but comes with its flaws. Being basement level, it’s pretty musky and there was a knocking noise that we couldn’t stop during our stay. The second bedroom is tiny, and the freezer didn’t work. For the price I would expect a little more polish.
Besides that, the area is beautiful with plenty to do and proximity to the station is fantastic. BART was a great host and allowed us a late check out (paid) and stored our luggage until 2:30pm which was really helpful.

We had a great stay at Bart’s place. The location was quiet but very convenient to Paddington station. Unfortunately we couldn’t use the courtyard due to rainy weather but it was nice to be able to open the doors and let some fresh air in. The 2nd bedroom is really only suitable for 1 guest as it’s very small but was nice and cosy.

The ground floor flat tended to be a little stuffy, and it was a challenge to get any good air flow to cool it down at all. There were fans available, and we did put those to use. The kitchen was well stocked, although we couldn't figure out how to use the oven, as it was missing a button. I'm sure that issue was us, just not familiar with a UK oven. Check in was fairly easy, but could be a challenge for people who aren't "techy". Overall, we had a good stay.

The airbnb was overall very nice. Directions were great and it was easy for us to enter. Upon entering the shared hallway, we were met with mold. However, it was not visible nor was the smell sensed in the unit. The main area was comfortable and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The main bathroom could use a refresh but the water was hot and the bathtub was very clean. The main bedroom is situated next to the entry door, therefore when someone enters the lights turn on automatically and if anyone is speaking it is audible. Fortunately, it is a nice area and the young ladies staying next to us were quite nice and were quiet once made aware. I believe the area attracts the quiet sort in general... which is why we love Paddington! Overall I would give the unit 4.25/5.

Great location. Underground flat, but feels comfortable and private. The light-well/courtyard works well to make the interior bright and to get fresh air. Kitchen was very easy to use and the apartment feels spacious. The small 2nd bedroom is indeed small as can be, as others have posted about (literally just the size of a bed), but it is also nicely organized and is more comfortable than imagined. My children enjoyed it. Two toilets in the flat is great for a family. The host was also very responsive and check-in/check-out was easy.

The front hall to the flat has a moisture problem that leaves a bit of a musty smell. It is being responded to with a dehumidifier, but is not quite working yet. The smell disappears once inside the flat. Sensitive visitors may find this off-putting. My own family barely noticed it.

We loved staying at Westbourne Terrace. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed and more! We felt very relaxed and at home here. Such a great location: walking distance to Hyde Park, where we were working. Check-in and check-out was very straightforward. We’d love to stay here again!

I am very fussy when staying at hotels or apartments. It’s been amazing staying at this apartment. It feels so cozy. I’m here with my family, 4 adults and a month old baby. It feels at home. When I entered the apartment I immediately had good feeling. The apartment is super clean. I was deciding between 2 apartments. I am so glad I chose this apartment. It’s less than 5 minutes walk to Paddington station. It’s close to Queensway and Hyde Park. The host is very responsive & helpful which is really good. When I came, the cleaner was here and she was very friendly. I do not have any complains at all about this apartment. I highly recommend this apartment. The second room is a bit tiny. Maybe a double decker bed would have been more suitable but there again the queen size bed is fine too if another couple stays in the second room. The mattresses in both the room are comfortable and so are the pillows. Nice clean bedsheets & towels. Warm duvet. There’s washing washing and also a dryer which is really convenient for us as we have a baby with us and we need to wash his clothes. Pressure of the water in the shower is great. I would definitely stay here again if I’m in London. Do choose this apartment. You’ll not regret it. 🙂Two thumbs up 👍🏼 👍🏼

Lovely clean apartment in a great location, only 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Had everything you might need, including washing machine and dryer. Netflix on the TV was a great bonus. Owners were very responsive over WhatsApp for any questions we had. Highly recommend and we will stay here again.

The check-in process can take a while, so recommend doing this in advance and not when you're outside the door. Good to note that there's a £25 security deposit to pay when checking in also.

Had a great long stay over the winter holidays. Early check in was available and went smoothly. The unit was as described. As others have said, the stairs to the unit can be tricky but my family had zero issues. Location was perfect. Two minutes from Paddington but quiet. Quick walk to Kensington Gardens and easy access to anything you might need. We had two minor issues that were handled immediately by Bart, which was impressive over the holidays - he was super responsive.

l'appartement se trouve au sous sol mais était top. tout est a disposition. les lits sont confortables (une grande et une très petite). l'espace est parfait pour une famille. le petit hic c'est qu'il y a quand même des odeurs un peu noséabonde émanant du lave-vaisselle, lave-linge et sèche-linge. Il n'y pas d'ascenseurs... faire attention si l'on a une poussette car cela devient complexe... L'emplacement est à deux pas de l'arrêt Paddington ce qui rend les trajets extrêmement simple. Je le conseille vivement pour son rapport qualité prix.

L’appartement est très agréable il est très bien placé: près des épiceries , bars restaurants, central parc et de stations de métro. Le quartier est calme ce qui permet de bien se reposer. Nous avons eu un problème avec la connection internet et Bart a été très réactif.

Unfortunately my check in didn’t went well and I had to wait more than I was expecting. However Bart took care of it as much as he could, and I had a good stay at his apartment. It is clean and quite, even if being in the basement you can hear some noises from street and entrance during the night. The house has everything you need and it was very clean. Plus the paddington neighborhood it’s amazing.

The flat was simply perfect, true to description. Tastefully furnished. Large and super-equipped kitchen. Nice living room with micro garden. A very comfortable first bathroom and a functional second small bathroom. Nice master bedroom. Second bedroom perhaps a little small. Fantastic location, quiet green and posh setting within walking distance of Paddington hub from where to go everywhere.Simply great. Thanks.

The location was great close to transport and good restaurants, the place was spotless, however it was a basement apartment no mention of that when booking, very steep stairs, try navigating a full suite case was an impossible task cars are backed up to the entrance, it smelt damp and the kitchen drain smelled through out the house, beds where not comfortable and from the main bedroom you could hear people all night coming in and out of the building. Good for a short weekend stay

All round good. Might have missed it, but I didn’t see any instructions on which door it is once you enter the corridor (it’s the 1st one on the right). There is a dehumidifier in the corridor and the kitchen, due to I guess it being a basement apartment. A bit dark inside, but all as described. A bit noisy, but it is London….would certainly consider staying again next time I’m in London and need to be close to Paddington.

We stayed at Bart's flat for 12 days. Our stay (as a family with two kids) was perfect. The location is absolutely amazing. 2 min walk from Paddington Station (for real 2 min!!) . In the heart of the city. This was by far the first and most important point to us. The flat is located in such a lovely area very residential very calm extreemly safe without being far from the buzz of Paddington and surroundings. This was the second kudos! At last the neighbours are so so quiet it seemed that there were none :) The flat is so cosy especially the rear patio the kitchen also is very convenient and the kids absolutely loved the living room & TV with all its settings :) Thank you again Bart for meeting us for your time and support and responsivness during our stay.
