Lovely place for a short getaway! My friends and I felt very at home here, bedrooms all a great size, very comfortable beds, spare pillows and sheets provided. Open and sociable living area. Great location, city centre easily walkable, saved money on buses and taxis. Also all the neighbours that we met were extremely friendly!

Good evening, Thank you Francoise for hosting us. Listing is as described and in a good location. However, it could do with a little refreshment to be even more pleasant. Nothing prohibitive, but some improvements would be appreciated. It's just a shame that the accommodation is not accessible a little earlier; by way of comparison, I offer a 2 p.m. check-in at my accommodation in Hardelot-Plage. Best Regards.

The house was perfectly located for our exploration of Brighton. It was exactly as described, with a comfortable living area and good bedrooms that worked well for our family of four and one grandmother. The location is excellent – close enough to the centre to walk in easily, but far enough away that it feels calm and not hectic. There are plenty of great restaurants and breakfast spots nearby too. Unfortunately, we had to cut our stay short due to a family emergency, but I’m sure it would have been a wonderful base for the full week.

The house in a great location new the centre of Brighton in a private mews, meaning it is very quiet. Great proximity to shops, cafes etc and the sea. The host was very responsive prior to check in. No complaints and would recommend!

We stayed at 7 (5 adults and 2 children) in the accommodation. The location is perfect, easy to access, close to the city centre and shops. Small friendly alley. The accommodation is charming and I would like to highlight the responsiveness of the teams to answer our questions with a lot of sympathy. Everything was ready for our arrival: towels, linens, beds made. Areas for improvement: We would highlight the bedding, which is not very comfortable (including the sofa bed) The toilets and bathroom need a refresh to avoid the visible dampness. The partitions are not very thick and therefore the accommodation is generally noisy (wooden floor): we were always afraid of making too much noise even if we were not bothered by a noise detector (maybe it no longer exists?) With small amenities, this accommodation will be perfect for a trip to Brighton!

We had a great stay and the house is lovely, in a great location and self check in was very easy. 11am check out provides enough time to pack up. Communication was really quick. Would definitely stay here again. Would benefit from the addition of a few basics in the kitchen. A few things overlooked (washing up liquid, oven glove, only one drying up cloth, information regarding nearby glass recycling need more forks) but have fed this back and these are easily solved so hopefully be in place for next visit!

The House was clean and in a very nice position, 5 minuets walk from the sea, close to the center and to many nice shops and coffees. Unfortunately, we got a problem with our check in, Getaway system kicked it out. We got the confirmation email from Airbnb and the payment was done, therefore they confirmed the reservation and asked us to come back at 4pm, the cleaning staff were cleaning the house. We receive a text from Gateway's where they were ask to paid a damage deposit, £50 not refundable, the connection in Brighton isn't really good, so this process took some times. But Gateway's refuse to send us the code to enter the property till when they received a prove of the payment, that I send to them twice, they asked first a screenshot of the payment, then a screenshot of the statement. We waited outside the door one hour, with a toddles two years old, for a problem caused by Getaway's, and to wait a deposit of £50 they leave us out of the door one hour.

I stayed here over the weekend with 8 guests, the property was clean and was happy with the quality of the stay! I do believe that the sofa bed may not be suitable for two people who aren’t a couple as it isn’t that large. We did get a noise complaint, I do think this may have been unproportionate as there was 8 of us in the property and it wasn’t late on into the night. Parking is convenient as there is the Buzz bingo nearby however it does cost £40 for 48 hours so bare that in mind if you have two cars going to the property. Overall, the property is lovely and in a great place from the beach. Would definitely stay here again but with maybe less people!

The house was great, really comfortable, welcoming and warm (we visited in early January and it was toasty). The accommodation is spread across three floors, with three double/twin rooms and a sofa bed in the lounge; if four couples were staying they could all have their own room. We spent quite a lot of time in the house as it was freezing cold outside but we all felt right at home straight away. Everything was provided including bed linen , towels and a fully equipped kitchen. The house is in a private mews which is 'very Brighton'; we chatted with a couple of the neighbours who were really friendly and helpful (we weren't sure if our car was too big but the neighbour reassured us that we were fine). The house is in Kemptown which has it's own 'villagey' feel with pubs and cafes; we visited the Kemp pub and had dinner one evening. We were a very short walk from the beach and just a 15 minute walk from the city centre. I would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

The property and location were what it claimed to be. Getaway were fast to respond to any queries we had. A few things to note. Bits and pieces are a bit knocked about. Cups and plates with chips in them, and a rusty microwave to name a couple. We had an issue with the heating that never really got resolved. Getaway were quick to respond to the text messages, but the heating still remained an issue even after following the video instructions sent. It would have been better if the heating had of been set to come on for our arrival. We were due in late afternoon in mid December, we did need it, rather than us try and figure out how to turn it on. It’s a lovely big house and would be fun for a group of couples visiting in the summer. This is my first experience using an Air B&B booking via an agent, although they were quick to respond to my messages, I think dealing direct with the property owner would have got us a quicker resolution to the heating issue.

Great House, big enough for six people. Very nice kitchen, equipped, as well as in the living room with space to eat and watch TV etc. We also liked the neighborhood, close to the center and the beach but quiet and with interesting shops. We had a small problem with the lock at check-in but it was solved quickly.

Great location, lovely property, responsive hosts. Just a few let downs, leaking shower ( with evidence it had tried to be fixed before) drip marks on the ceiling below (before we took a shower), once we did have a shower it dripped through the ceiling leaving wet patches in the living room. Meant we couldnt use the shower and 1 bath between 7 people was a bit of a hassle. Quite a lot of ants in the kitchen, I guess we shouldve stored food up high. Also the extra bedding for the pull out beds didn’t have covers so bare that in mind. It was a great airbnb for a couple nights but definitely room for improvement but thank you for having us

Really lovely flat, in quiet mews, near to the beach. Clean and good facilities. Parking - as they say - was only for small cars, the entrances is really tight and the space is a squeeze. We had to park on the seafront and in an underground carpark about 5 mins away, which was fine, but a bit pricey. The biggest issue for me was the extra costs. You get have to pay more to get a cancellation period - I accept I made a mistake about the car - I had misread the length of my car and thought it would fit - when the full details were sent through I realised it wouldn't and asked to cancel 10 minutes after I made the booking, but they held to the "no cancellation" policy. The extra for the dog (£95) was a separate bill, not included - and then there was a "non refundable payment" of £50 or a "refundable" deposit of £500 to be paid upfront - So what was a good deal, rapidly became a painful expensive frustration. Took the edge of the holiday for me - I wouldnt use them again.

Location was great. So easy to walk into town, lots of restaurants along the way. The mews in which the house was situated was very peaceful. Beds were all very uncomfortable, all needed new mattresses. We could only manage to open one window. The downstairs bedroom didn’t have any windows and the upstairs bedroom windows didn’t open. Kitchen was very low on stock, one mug, one glass each, so lots of washing up. No welcome pack, that would have been nice. Shower wasn’t adjustable. Sofa was very uncomfortable too. Place was clean. Overall, a good stay, but it could have been so much better, as the location and house were great.

Nice place, but you definitely have to read the fine print. Our dog cost €111 for two nights, I read it over and only saw it at the time of booking confirmation. Likewise, I did not read that the parking lot is only for vehicles up to 4.20 meters. Unfortunately, when I read these details (about 15 minutes after booking) it was no longer possible for me to withdraw from the reservation. In addition, we have taken out the insurance for €58. I did not expect these two costs when booking. For communication with the host, as well as other information (house rules, operating instructions...) you can install an app. The location is central, you can walk to the sea and the city center is easily accessible.

The property was perfect for our needs. It was clean, nicely furnished and close to the seafront and good bars and restaurants in Kemptown. I was slightly concerned about the noise alarm that was described in the listing, but it wasn't an issue for us, with a lot of our time being out and about in Brighton anyway. We had a great time, but I was disappointed to be accused of our car still being at the property, in quite a rude manner, long after we'd left the property. Not only had I let Airbnb know that we'd checked out, but also had travelled by train to Brighton, so there was never a car there! It somewhat soured the impression of the host company.

Stayed here for a weekend with friends, really enjoyed it. Great location in Kemptown, parking for 1 car and a decent price. My Getaway's were really responsive and let us park our car a few hours before check in time. Was a bit conscious of going above the noise threshold which isn't ideal to have in the back of your mind during a break. However we didn't get pinged and at least they were up front about it. Overall, good value!

Perfect for families but NOT suitable for groups of friends wanting a weekend away, due to the noise alarms. We were a group of 8 ladies and on arrival were met by a very frosty neighbour who told us to not play music, to not open the windows as her child sleeps in the front bedroom and that if there were any issues she would report us, not the best way to start our weekend. We received a noise complaint at 9pm because some of the girls had stepped out the front to smoke and were chatting. We then received a text and a call 1 minute after 10pm reminding us of the rules and again around 10.30pm at which point I asked all the girls to go to bed as didn't want to get in trouble as the messages threatened security being called and potentially being removed from the property. It is a lovely property and I couldnt fault that but just wanted to warn people as it absolutely ruined our weekend which was a shame.

For a place in the heart of the action, it offers very comfortable AMPLE space inside. The decor is fresh and very much sets the mood for a holiday. Short walk to EVERYTHING, but not noisy at all. I would recommend this place for families, but bring a small small car, or get the train. The parking is very very tight. As Australians, our notion of small is quite different from UK locals. Our tiny Kia Niro looked huge when trying to fit it into the very small space. You need something smaller (narrower) than this car to feel comfortable. NOTE: The beds were all made up as UK Single beds. They can be joined to make doubles, but were not configured this way. We didn't mind. My Getaways, who run the place are obviously a larger organisation, so there was less than personal touch in the communications when we were trying to check in, but the communications from the team were friendly.

Perfect location, lovely decor, clean and colourful! Great for our family trip. Was surprised to get a couple of noise alerts on one of the nights, considering we were just sitting around chatting with no music or anything - but otherwise no issues. Also, groups of 8 should bear in mind that the duvet for the double sofa bed is a single size, and we also only had enough towels for 6. But that didn't stop us having a fab stay. Everything is walkable, beds were comfy and no issues using any of the amenities. Thanks!

Brilliant stay for 7 of us. As others have said, the parking space is tight since it's a narrow mews but we had no problem parking our Hyundai i30 - we went as close to the house as possible! The beach was literally 5 minutes walk away. Obviously knew it was pebble beaches in Brighton but didn't think to bring my beach shoes, which was a shame. Town was very close too so we enjoyed a night out at a bar selling 2-4-1 cocktails all night! We had asked for double beds but the rooms were set up with twins - we pushed them together so no biggie. Overall, a fantastic stay!

An excellent base for exploring Brighton: characterful, clean, comfortable and really well located to walk down to the seafront or into town. Very good facilities. The hosts are a pleasure to deal with. We stayed as a family of four and had plenty of room to spread out. A family of 6 would be fine here. A tip - as the description accurately states: the parking space provided is really pretty small - I wouldn't attempt to get anything larger than a VW Golf into it - though there is paid for on-street parking nearby.

Great confortable property in a quiet hidden area of vibrant Kemptown. Close to shops, cafes, pubs and the beach. The living area is superb, the beds are confortable and the whole house was perfect for our group of six. The place that was simply missing a few essentials such as a coffee maker, kitchen towels, basic toiletries or a key for the french doors. Overall, a great stay with flexible check-in and check out times and good support from the letting agency. Thank you.

Bright, airy, pretty house, a little tired but in a great location, very close to beach front and many cafes. Brighton is fabulous for some retail therapy! Parking is not easy. Very tight parking outside house and nearby public parking is limited & costly. We did enjoy our stay very much with our 2 little dogs.

The location was great, and the place itself was actually really cute. We were barely talking there was only 4 of us and the movie was very low- we kept being harassed by the landlord to keep the volume down- we basically had to turn the movie off, we were whispering as we felt very uncomfortable after being texted 4/5 times to lower the volume when we were being inconsiderate . We won’t be returning due to the hostility we experienced.

The property was clean and tidy on arrival and communication was very prompt when we had questions. Please be aware of the car size restrictions for the parking space as the house is situated in a narrow mews.

As a last minute trip that was booked for me and my friends, we found this lovely place. Honestly lovely doesn’t cover it, this beautiful house was just amazing. The way it was split over 3 floors, the bedrooms were very beautiful and very vibrant with colour. The beds, sofas were very comfy to chill on during the evening. The long table in the lounge area was our spot where we just chilled and chatted. It was great place to eat breakfast and dinner. The kitchen had everything we needed and catered to what we needed. The bathroom was very good too. If your ever in Brighton and staying for a few nights, I would highly recommend staying here. You are about 10-15 mins away from the pier/beach. I would say I would be staying here again,. Thank you very much for letting us stay in this beautiful house☺️

If you want to talk to each other after 10pm then do not go here. They expect 6 people talking to not make noise. We are six women in our 30/40&50 and all we was doing was having a chat and we kept getting texts to say noise sensor was going off and if we continue we will be charged. Checked with all neighbours as they was all very friends and out in the mews and all said no noise from us what so ever. I even had a call to warn me for the next night. Ruined our long awaited family weekend away. It does state noise senses so we was actually being conscious of being too loud which made the situation even more ridiculous and annoying. But amazing location. Lovely house apart from the bathroom needs a good clean.

Great property in a great location. We were a bit put off by the reviews about the noise monitor. We were a group of lads and were conscious of the amount of noise we made after 10pm, because of the neighbours etc, but weren't "quiet" and had no issues. We managed to check in early which is always a nice touch, as 4pm is late to check in.

Brilliant spot for friends to meet up in Brighton, location is great. The main criticism is the noise detector, we were warned twice for noise not very late into the evening, we were only chatting amongst each other and this was enough to set it off, if you fancy staying up past 10pm it is advised you find somewhere to go in Brighton.

The place in general is ok. Not as pristine and clean as the pictures but the location is good. Unfortunately we had our few days there disrupted by building works taking place in two other houses. The host spoke to the neighbours but there was nothing they could do. I suggest you check with host to make sure there won’t be building works being done whilst you’re there.

A terrible checkin and communication experience for an otherwise OK property. Incorrect checkin information on AirBnB (I'll spare the details for security), requests for substantial additional payment off the AirBnB platform at 2 hours notice, you're asked multiple times to load a different mobile app to get the information you need, and finally we were sent incorrect wifi codes. An impersonal company that relies on automated, just-in-time communication systems, which failed in spectacular fashion in our case, for reasons that still aren't all entirely clear (definitely don't change the email address that you use). We had a call from the manager the next day to apologise, with a token refund, less than 2% of booking cost. There are many positive reviews but the test comes when things don't go to plan, and then you need an IT support guy (apparently) and they are not available on the weekend.

Really enjoyed our stay in Brighton, the house was a short walk into the town and very close to lots of shops and cafes. Very modern, clean and as a group of 6, it was very spacious!! Would definitely recommend.

Pebble Terrace Mews is a perfect place to stay in Brighton. Just a little way down from the seafront in a quiet street this house is tucked away from footfall but just a short stroll from the best spots in Brighton. The house is clearly used for big groups often, and is a little less pristine than the pictures, but still charming and with everything you could need for a stay away!

This place is lovely. Such a shame that we were only staying for one night. We were a family of four and a couple and the layout was great for us. Very stylish, great location and free onsite parking was amazing. Great responses from the team that manage it when required. Would highly recommend staying here.

Just got back from a fabulous stay at this well located property near Brighton seafront and walking distance to The Lanes. Set in a quaint quiet mews near to cafes, bars and a few handy shops. Communication was clear and responses to queries were fast. Keysafe easy to find and use. A small welcome pack was left for us with a few items ie. Teabags, coffee, milk capsules etc. which was a nice touch. Beds were clean and comfortable, and everyone had a great nights sleep. We had a lovely stay; very enjoyable. Thank you

Great townhouse - convenient location, clean and tidy as well as spacious for our group of 8. The lounge area (& size) was perfect for us, especially over the rainy / windy weekend. Host was professional, provided clear instructions and communication. We were pleased with our stay.

The rooms are nice and clean. Communal space quite airy and light. Parking was a little tricky even though there is an allocated space. It is very easy to be blocked in, so prepare to communicate with the neighbours. There was not enough shower gel and shampoo provided when we went so take your own just in case.

Great location close to Brighton city center. Modern and well equiped flat. To log on to wifi you must have a UK number. As foreigners we had to use the very slow mobile connection.

Lovely stylish townhouse with a parking space and in a great location! Literally 5 minutes walk to the beach but it was also tucked away in a quiet little mews which was lovely. Communication was great as we went last minute and they were so accomodating.

A lovely house set in a quiet little mews. The house was very nice, clean and tidy, with good quality bedding. It was great to be able to park right outside, please note it is a little tight but didn’t cause us an issue. It is located near some local shops, bars and restaurants and just a few minuets from the sea, what more could you ask.

The house was not as described. Mouldy bathrooms, the place stank of curry, the interior is not as described in the advert or the photos, and certainly was not what was expected. The internet was also super slow.

Close to the sea front and the high street. It's an ideal set up for 6 guests. The car park helped us park our vehicle. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Had a chat with the neighbors and they seemed friendly as well.

Exactly as advertised. Nice and clean, plenty of room for our family of 6. Great location! Check-in was a breeze, communication was great. Only small issue, and this is NO reflection on the host - those seagulls can be noisy at all times of day, even in the middle of the night. This would be a problem with any place by the beach; I only mention it so people are prepared. If you're a light sleeper, ear plugs or ear buds/headphones might be good to have. Again, great overall experience.

Great venue, everything you need for a homely stay. Clean bedding and facilities. Free parking for one car but difficult to find overnight parking for another car. 10min walk to the beach and all shops within 15 min walk.

Great property in excellent location. Short walk, 5-10 mins to Brighton’s Lanes and the North Laines. Seafront a minute away and although close to the action it’s a very quiet property. Very comfortable and well kept, bright and clean, and we felt very much at home. At one stage the boiler stopped working but as soon as we got in touch with property owner they responded immediately and it was fixed within the hour. Communication was excellent and we booked on the day, stayed for 4 nights and it was all extremely easy. Really enjoyed our time.

Fantastic location, quiet but easy walking distance of the centre. Parking is a real bonus. Lovely comfortable house. There was a problem with the boiler making a horrendous noise on Friday night but a phone call to Josh on Saturday morning meant that the problem was quickly sorted which was much appreciated. We are already planning a return visit!

This apartment is perfect if you want a stay in brighton for a family... very close to the pier and a short walk into the main town ... bedrooms good size and comfortable beds feel it could do with an ensuite or another shower one bathroom was slighlty annoying when all trying to get ready, kitchen was brilliant for cooking meals the big oven hob and space to cook was a nice touch and big table upstairs to all eat around, parking not a problem if you have one car bit of a squeeze but nothing a good driver cant handle (i drive a grand sport insignia wide and long) all in all a great stay .... one issue and this is the only issue which i private messaged the company about previous to this review is the pipework noise or vibration that is a constant very irritating if your a light sleeper it will keep you up you cannot hear it over tv noise or talking but when your trying to sleep it was getting annoying .... dont let this sway you from booking nobody else i can see has noticed it or reviewd about it but im sure the company will look into it all in all a great stay

The house was well located in a quiet residential street, very close to the arcades and restaurants / bars. Upon arrival the house was particularly cold as we stayed during a chilly weekend in January so cranking up the heating was necessary! It was very spacious and the one bathroom was right at the top of the house - fine for 5 ladies sharing it. The rest of the house was very clean. Check in was easy.

Lovely Mews, close to the water, and some lovely Kemptown shops. The house is clean, modern and as described. The layout was a bit tricky with one bedroom on the ground floor (by the kitchen) and others on the 3rd floor. Just because we had a toddler and a baby. Parking is the single biggest challenge. But that's a Brighton issue. The one space provided is fine, but if you have more than one car you need to plan ahead as parking in the area is difficult. The kitchen didn't have a tea pot or caffitiere - but was well equipped otherwise.

A lovely welcoming home , great location round the corner from the sea front and very well equipped. 5 adults stayed for a long winter weekend and found the whole place very comfortable and easy to spend time in compared with taking hotel rooms as we had planned. The only hitch was that it was cold when we arrived and we ended up calling the hosts to get the heating timer turned on... easy it turned out but it would have been nice to be warm when we arrived. Otherwise ... fantastic !

We had a great time in Brighton and found the communication between ourselves and the property manager really good before and during our visit. The house was spacious and met our needs during the visit with 1 free parking space which was very useful considering the location. The only issue we can across was the bedding since the sheets were quite rough and the beds in the ground floor bedroom and sofa bed we requested were not very comfortable to sleep on for our 2 night stay. Besides that, we were happy with the house and glad we visited Brighton.

Great location. Very close to the seafront. Walkable distance to town centre. Only the place is older than it seems in the pictures, one of the bedroom were refurbished from the garage with a rollaway bed. Beddings were not clean. Overall, the stay was nice given the good location and worth of budget.
