Gorgeous apartment right in the thick of it. Lovely & spacious and perfect for our family trip. The location was slightly too loud for my parents, although we didn’t mind a bit of noise at all as were in town center. Really good value for money, clean, great selection of sundries & equipment.

Honestly this place treated us well! We were a large group of 9 people and we always struggle to find places to accommodate us. We all had a bed to ourselves and even still had space for more! Modern, spacious and comfortable interior, the most absolutely amazing central location, and all basic amenities such as bedding, towels, toilet paper, tea and coffee were provided. There’s only one toilet but that wasn’t a problem for us and two showers. Wifi was a bit poor but we weren’t there to be on our phones anyway. Very comfy beds! Overall a 10/10 stay🥰

The space was great for our party of 10. Beds were very comfy and rooms were spacious. The Airbnb is in a great location, right near the lanes, lots of restaurants and bars, however it is very very noisy throughout the night and early in the morning, especially the glass bins being emptied and people shouting. It’s great that you get a parking space with this Airbnb as if you are staying for the weekend, parking in car parks in the area is expensive!

Very convenient, easy to access. Just need some better windows as very noisy in the early hours of the morning. Just a note, maybe make sure there's enough tea bags and coffee to accommodate guest, there was 4 teabags and 8 of us! which we bought more throughout our stay anyways.

The apartment was in a great central location close to all the town amenities and the beach, but this also meant that it was noisy at night-time, particularly as the windows are very thin. The property was decorated very nicely though some parts could do with updating. It was well equipped with crockery and cutlery etc. We couldn't work out why but the main bathroom was extremely hot! With the road restrictions my friend found it difficult to park close by to get the key fob for the designated parking space which made for a slightly stressful start. But overall, it was a good choice for a few days in Brighton for a group of three adults and four kids.

The flat was exactly what we needed for our group trip. The flat had enough space for 10 guests but we were out for most of the day, luckily there are two showers but only one toilet. All beds were comfortable with clean linen and towels. Plenty of plug sockets around the flat for use. The flat is easy to find and get entry to and the location is perfect for being right in the centre and within walking distance. The noise is what you’d expect being so central and staying on a Friday/Saturday night. Having a parking space is a massive bonus, but having to go back and forth for the key fob is a little annoying but can’t be helped. We stayed on a super hot weekend and the listing said fans but there were none and sadly we got no response to our message so did have to purchase one as the temperature was up to 31 degrees inside even with the windows open and blinds down. Missing scissors and only 2 toilet rolls for 3 days and 10 guests meant having to purchase more.

Simply to say it’s a nice stay generally, as I got 9ppl and last minute booking. It saved me with a better and convenient place within centre of Brighton. Made our Brighton trip completed lovely. Only a reminder if you’d need a quiet place, it won’t be a choice, as there are some bar and waste collections in the morning. Overall it’s good to stay in convenient location of Brighton city. This accomodation was perfect for our group of friends! All the necessary amenities and great location. You could hear the hustle and bustle outside, which was fine as we were there to be a part of it all. Communication was great and we would definitely stay here again.

Definitely worth every penny. Fantastic location, right near to left side lanes, restaurants, bars etc and only 10 min walk from station. Clean and good ammentis provided. No faults apart from two things: - getting the key fob to then go back up to the car park to then walk back down was abit annoying. You can drive through the lanes but there’s lots of pressure from taxis buses etc and it’s stressful. Seems backwards to get fob to drive back up - considering Brighton is all one way roads, this was annoying. Same with leaving again. - the WiFi was awful - my getaways told me a different server to what was actually available to use and beyond two people using it it was bad. Needs extenders in rooms if you’re hosting max 10 people, past the front room it was below standard and even in the front room it was bad. But WiFi isn’t a huge necessity for everyone so take this with a pinch of salt. If you don’t need it, you won’t have any struggles with it. Great stay :) Thanks again

Very good location in the city center but difficult to access with young children. Disappointed with the services of the apartment: No heating on arrival, cleanliness that leaves something to be desired... But the rental agency was responsive by offering us a visit from a cleaning company.

It was an okay place, way overpriced though and it’s much smaller than you think. Great location. No body wash , shampoo or soap in bathrooms. They also did not let us into the apartment on the day unless we either paid a £500 deposit or £50 extra fee upfront - this wasn’t mentioned beforehand

We had a wonderful stay. The place is perfectly located and is very cost friendly as well. It is walking distance from the beach and other tourist attractions. We are a group of 10 and we were easily amazed by the homey and rustic vibe of the place. The host is also very accommodating. The only thing is, as described, there is only one toilet so it can be a bit of a problem for a large group. But, overall, the place is a good place to stay for a quick weekend getaway or for short relaxed trips.

DO NOT BOOK IF ON BUSINESS +1 * location +1 * spacious & clean. -1 star for outside noise, need better windows. Unfinished paint in areas where it looks like there’s been previous leaks or mould, 1 loo for 9 people. Beds dipped middle. Bunk beds were wobbly. -1 star for false advertising as suitable for working from home with high speed internet. WiFi & tv didn’t work. Speed tests came to 0.45mb or didn’t load! We begged for help & for data on a stick for compensation due to being on business with children seeking comfortable accommodation which was refused. No option of going to a cafe with 2 babies. We had to pay out of pocket for data roaming & they tried to blame our devices & the local area which was proven to be a lie. Local area is 10mb minimum & neighbours/businesses had no issues with their personal WiFi. An engineer was sent at the end of day 2 who agreed the speed test was awful. No compensation & a very stressful visit, we might aswell of saved money & stayed in a hotel!

I am writing the review to warn the future tourists to stay away from any property managed by My Gateaways. I planned a weekend trip with family which included kids and a senior citizen. We were welcomed by dirty stairs, stained and foul smelling carpets, dirty windows, sleepless night due to noise from the street all night and seagulls in the morning along with creaking noise from the furniture. Old single glazed windows didn't block any sound from the street. Next morning, escalated the deplorable condition to the host. We were offered air freshener to sort the stink. Decided to vacate the flat. Informed the host. He turned hostile and stated he will not be offering any refund. Escalated the matter to Airbnb and was given partial refund. Host kept our damage deposit of £500 violating the terms mentioned at the time of deposit. No response to any communication. Avoid My Gateways and save yourself from being cheated.

The flat is very central and convenient for getting around Brighton. Lots of shops and restaurants at night. It’s clean and tastefully decorated. Beds were comfy and plenty of them! Flat was easy to access and well equipped. A few things were temperamental- the heating went off so we had one very cold night, during which the host couldn’t help us, the oven was difficult to use and the router didn’t stretch to the tv so couldn’t be used! Although it is supposed to sleep up to ten, this would be a stretch with one loo and the space given. Also beware of a extremely large fee for late checkout and a £300 deposit to pay before you arrive. Saying that, the host did provide details of local lockers, and the deposit was returned.

The flat was fine, spacious, sleeps 10, very central for shops and beach. Very hard to get to by car as many roads are blocked off. Private parking space was 8 minute walk from flat but very secure. Lots of electric sockets in the flat, but wifi was poor. 1 bathroom, 1 shower room but only 1 toilet! Glad we were only 5 people! Noise from nearby nightclubs was unrelenting and shouting went on all night long. The flat windows are single glazed and not all of them shut so we had draughts and constant noise all night long. That was a major disappointment which means I cant rate it higher.

Amazing place, colorful and stylish design, comfortable and the location is excellent in the heart of Brighton. The only issue is the parking, as the information at the Airbnb website were misleading. You have to walk around 10 mins to park in the designated spot. I ended up parking in another parking space and pay extra for it.

In the middle of town, close to the beach. Good location, but is very noisy at night and will have a truck to collect shop 's waste in the morning , also is noise . Not recomment for family. . Very quick response when we had a problem during our stay and after we leave.

The location is fantastic, and busy day and night. We really enjoyed stepping out the door, and into the lovely atmosphere of the lanes with shops and cafes. And two minutes away from the north lanes. The apartment was clean and neat, with good beds and two bathrooms.

Very beautiful flat, super clean and great for a group. The host was very helpful and brought fans over for us during the very hot weather, which was really appreciated. I would definitely advise bringing earplugs to sleep as the location is extremely loud all night. We were a hen party so weren’t looking to get early nights but the noise on the street doesn’t stop until about 5am, and then the sea gulls start 😂 It’s to be expected with such a central location in Brighton though. The one thing we did find frustrating were the very abrasive massages about the noise *we* were making! Especially ironic given how noisy the streets were and then fact that we struggled so badly to sleep because of this. On night one of our stay, the 9 of us were sitting around chatting and we got numerous ‘warnings’ from around 10.30pm onwards stating that we were being too loud and triggering a decibel meter. We were told that if we didn’t quieten down we could be faced with fees and eviction, which was a real downer on an otherwise lovely evening of having some drinks and dinner all together as a group. We actively tried to keep the noise to a minimum but with a flat that sleeps 10, I feel noise to a certain level should be expected, and the host cannot expect everybody to be completely silent from 10pm. The messages on the second night were I for worse. We were accused of trying to tamper with the decibel meter and again threatened with eviction, this was extremely ludicrous as at the time this was sent, we had all been out of the house for numerous hours. We also had no idea where the meter was so couldn’t have ‘tampered’ with it if we’d tried. When I informed the host that we had been out of the house all day and absolutely had not tried to locate or tamper with the elusive sound monitor, we were told to ‘kindly ignore the last message’. Very bizarre. Communications like that we’re not a very pleasant thing to have to deal with when we were trying to enjoy a holiday and I really question the hosts decision to act in this manner. It’s a shame because aside, we did really enjoy our stay.

This is a great property that could not be more central for Brighton and its seafront. The apartment was clean and comfortable for a group. All communications were swift and helpful. Great to have car parking space as part of the package (just a 5-10 min walk away). If you are not from Brighton it may be worth mentioning that nightlife noise is not limited to the weekend so earplugs are a must if you are not partying yourself! However, being so central means you are just 2 minutes from the seafront and plenty of lovely restaurants and shops.

A really well-presented apartment in a terrific central location. Communication was friendly. The instructions to get in were very clear, and it was extremely helpful to have a link to the video of how to find the parking space. If you're dropping luggage off in the car, make sure you figure out how to drive to the apartment. Brighton's one-way system appears to have been devised by a mischievous alien from the fourth dimension. We intend to book the same apartment again.

Great location and very spacious. BUT…. We arrived to find what can only described as Pubic hairs all over the top bunk bed, we also couldn’t even consider using one of the bunk beds die to how lose it was and the amount it rocked. The first night we ended up with workmen outside until around 3.30am, they drilled the concrete, left their van on all night with flashing lights and played their music very loud. The Manager of my getaways called me the next day as I had complained and he offered for us to move of receive a part refund. Due to us only having one night left we decided to stay and accept a part refund. The day after we returned home I received an offer of £50!!! Between 9 of us as compensation. They may as well have not bothered and to top it off they haven’t responded to me at all now. On the basis that you never know if your going to have issues or not I would NOT recommend that you stay with my Getaways. It’s a shame as the apartment is a great location and could have been perfect. We visit Brighton on a regular basis but we won’t be using My Getaways again!

I was in Brighton for just one night with my family (husband, kids and mum) and this was the perfect stop-off for us. The flat was spacious and modern (apart from the en suite bedroom which was tiny!) and the location was fantastic - very central. However the downside of this was the noise throughout the night, which did wake me up a few times.

This place is exactly as described and as shown in the photos. We had a great week with the kids; it was clean, comfortable and so close to everything it was perfect. The only downside is the noise in an evening, but we expected it and it was the price to pay for such a great location. We took the advice of previous guests and took earbuds for a peaceful night’s sleep. We would definitely stay here again - thank you.

it is super super central and I had lots of fun here with my kids. It is a bit noisy because so close to the beach you can hear the seagulls and they are noisy but I just popped in some Earplugs and fine. you really are in the middle of all the best bits of Brighton here. Also very helpful team
