The location is nice and check in & out was easy. Didn't feel £30 worth of clean but was fine. The walls are all so thin, no sound proofing. Upstairs neighbours are HORRIBLY LOUD which really ruins it, both nights they were being inconsiderate AS LATE AS 4AM by singing, laughing & shouting drunk to the point you couldn't sleep. We were considerate of neighbours as asked by the hosts but the neighbours were not considerate of us. We understand people work late etc or are just having fun but it was so over the top considering how late it was. The second night we stopped the heating was so hot and the floors were too hot to stand on, no way of adjusting the heating. Had to open the front door at 5am. There are no windows to let air in. We called the 24/7 number as advertised - no response. During the day the communication was ok from the hosts and normally we wouldn't expect a response middle of the night, UNLESS it was actually advertised - which it was. Won't ever stop again.

Fabulous location in the heart of Brighton. My Getaways were great hosts and proactive in resolving a few hiccups that we encountered. Would use My Getaway’s again in the future.

i was inbetween houses and this was the perfect place to stay. it felt homey, it was clean, accessible, private, and i had enough space for everything i needed.

had a couple problems with the room no fan on the first night on a hot day. but had one dropped off in the morning. didn't sort the huge dip in the bed apart from the loud people above me. was a good stay an would stay again if I go Brighton again

I booked 2 night. I paid nearly £300. After I paid the money they tell me I can pay another £300 deposit and get that back in 7 days if I don't break anything or £30, unbeknown to me, that they keep. My eyes are not great so I didn't clock the u refundable £30. I had to leave early as the trains were chaos ( again not my fault (, and then am told they want to keep my £30. I'm disgusted , I'm going to write to my MP and Brighton MPs. I want to know why they asked me for this AFTER I'd paid the full rental price, not before. it feels deceptive. I'm disgusted.

The place is really good location and the bed is very comfortable. The neighbours above are extremely loud from 6am and after 11pm on all three days I stayed there. I asked them to be more aware of others and to keep the noise down which they apologised for but nothing changed for the next two days. Slamming doors, loud music and communicating loudly to one another, I had a poor nights sleep because of it. This is the only downside, the place is lovely and clean.

Great space for students, solo travelers, couples on a budget. Only has a hot plate so bear that in mind as there is nowhere really to put it that gives you lots of cooking space, so scale back your meal ideas to things that are oven based. Window was locked without a key in sight and it did get quite hot/stuffy inside so often had to sit with the door open. All told, great location, and lots to eat, drink, and do within a 5 minute walk.

Perfect location right by the north lanes. The studio was great and very easy to access. The neighbours were quite noisy during the night so that’s something to be wary of, however it didn’t bother me. Would definitely stay here again.

The Artists' Studio is a great place to stay, fantastic location within a stone's throw to Brighton's North Laines. It's very well decorated, feeling bright and modern and everything was spotless. We had a little trouble finding which property it was, but when we found it, it was simple to access the key safe and property. What stood out for me was the absolutely outstanding service I received from Tracey at My Getaways; I made a mistake when making the reservation and expected huge difficulties resolving it, but it was super easy to get through to Tracey and she could not have been more accommodating and helpful. When we arrived at the property we could not access the internet (this was not due to lack of instructions but our incompetence!). It was a Sunday and she answered the phone right away and got us sorted out. We then realised that the remote control was faulty and called her again and she got a new one to us within the hour. Fantastic service!

The place is very well situated and is set up with lots of electronics you might need. The WiFi was working really nicely and the team of my getaways complied with my request to inform me about the details through Airbnb instead of having to download their app. There is a construction going on right in front of the door at the moment so wouldn’t recommend this place if you would like a lay in.

Had a lovely stay, it was my sister’s first time visiting Brighton and the location was perfect! We stayed for New Year’s Eve and as the location was so central we could walk to all of the best restaurants bars and shops within minutes. The team were very friendly and super fast to respond. They were very accommodating with check in and any questions we had they were very quick to reply. Would definitely recommend and stay again. We really appreciate your hospitality, thank you so much for making our new year’s special and for being so accommodating and understanding.

Ridiculous rules (including fake tan) ludicrous level of cleaning/breakage deposit which gives little option but to pay a non refundable unexpected 30.00. Noise levels outrageous but not sure that’s easy to address as the unit walls are paper thin. Great location and super clean. Unfortunately I left a previous silver bangle at the property (in the bedding) and the cleaners claim not to have found it. I’m afraid I’m not buying that. Won’t be rushing back I’m afraid.

Nice place, comfortable. Easy to find, very helpful staff! Only thing it was too noise. Families shouting from 7 to 10, running and smashing doors; fire alarms at least 4 times during the morning as well. At night the same.

Was perfect for what we wanted and right in the middle of everything so it was easy to walk to places. However, on the last night we were kept awake until 4 am (we had a train at 7am) by the upstairs neighbours- who didn’t particularly care when we asked them to be quieter. It does get very very hot in summer and the windows didn’t seem to open, may be our mistake. Apart from that for the price and location you can’t complain. Very cute room with everything you need for a short stay!

Great place - recommend for a long weekend for a couple. Perfect location in the heart of Brighton but just off the hustle and bustle, 10 min or so walk from the beach. Reasonably priced and considering we went on the busiest weekend of the year it was incredibly quiet at night. Maybe could do with a wardrobe/drawers for people who want to stay longer & hang their clothes up, but nevertheless loved it !

Great place! There were a few things already damaged when I arrived but Getaways were easy to communicate with. Great location to explore town from. I had a great time, would recommend!

The bed frame was loose and loud, so moved a lot during the night and some of the crockery still had food on it.

Excellent studio in a perfect location in Brighton, there is a bedside fan in the room which is much appreciated in the summer! Would happily stay here again and recommend to others.
