We started off with some challenges getting our luggage to the door given the apartment was on a street with limited car access but we worked it out eventually. It was smaller than it seemed in the photos but it was lovely and had great amenities. The location is fantastic, with different tram lines just outside and a large supermarket close by. We were confident on public transportation in just a couple of days. Unfortunately, whoever was living upstairs thumped around, vibrating the whole apartment but that’s probably expected in old buildings. The coffee machine wasn’t working when we checked in but the owner was very responsive and we had a new one within hours. Considering the heat wave (over 35 degrees for 11 days) the air conditioning coped well and was a must Overall we enjoyed our 11 night stay in this apartment.

A beautiful apartment, perfectly situated. Photos don’t do it justice. Immaculately clean and very comfortable with air con, which was much appreciated during the heat wave! While centrally located, it was very peaceful and the balcony overlooking the cathedral made the accommodation extra special. Walking distance to most places but beside the tram if necessary. Plenty of great restaurants nearby and the handbook offered helpful suggestions. Highly recommend staying here. Hope to return one day!

The apartment is at the edge of a large area in which cars are restricted but it possible to park close to the apartment so it is great if you want to explore the vineyards or beaches during the day and return to the city at night. It is also great if you want to explore the city. The apartment is very comfortable and quiet and within easy walking distance of many restaurants and the Marche des Capucians where you can find all types of food to cook.

Everything was tip-top, as we’d say in Switzerland. (We live in an old-town flat back home, we know just how much effort that involves with a place like this.) Check-in and all the appliances are straightforward, and the neighbour is friendly too – which isn’t always a given with short-term rentals. The neighbour’s cat (from the back yard/roof) is friendly but also curious. So if you don’t fancy a fluffy visitor in the middle of the night, make sure you lock the window. The plug-in repellents (in the cupboard above the fridge) are effective against mosquitoes (we recommend refilling them with Raid, which is available in any supermarket).

We stayed 4 nights at Suzanna's place and had a fabulous time! Apartment was perfectly located - in the heart of town, but extremely quiet. We never used our car once. I would recommend the Republique parking lot over the Bey lot. Only a couple minutes further , but extremely easy in/out, clean and very safe. Lovely apartment - will be back!! 👍👍

Great location, the apartment is as described in the images and in writing, easy to enter, many central points are accessible on foot, There was a bit of a musty smell at the entrance The items were sufficient Only the cleaning in the apartment could have been better, it was surprising to see expired products in the refrigerator that were used by people from the past, a single cup was washed in the dishwasher and left upside down to dry, there were hand and footprints on the bed as if someone had pressed on it or a child had walked on it, these were surprising The apartment is very difficult to heat, it even gets cold.

The apartment is an excellent location on a quiet street yet close to public transportation, restaurants and shopping within walking distance, as well as many historic sights. We prefer to walk when visiting a city and Bordeaux was a wonderful city to walk. The apartment is also beautiful and comfortable and we felt right at home. It had all the amenities that we needed and has been updated in every way. I would return to this apartment in the future when visiting Bordeaux. Merci Beaucoup!

We really enjoyed our week here. The location is fabulous. Lots of attractions, bars and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walk. 2 Tram Stops for different lines in front of the apartment made it easy to go further afield and connect to the airport and train stations. The flat itself is as described and high quality. Bedroom is at the back so very quiet and sleep was not disturbed by any noise. Balcony was good. The kitchen is well equipped with induction hob, good oven, washing machine and espresso coffee machine. We had no contact or messaging from Suzanne during our stay which i have valued when staying with other hosts. The only concern we had was that house rules state not to leave aircon on overnight and excessive usage would be charged for. We tried that on our first night when daily temperatures were 35 degrees. We didn’t sleep well at all because of the heat. We used aircon on the second night and it was much improved. We didn’t need it after that as temperatures had dropped.

The apartment was absolutely wonderful. It was just as described, elegant, well appointed and very comfortable. Suzanna has thought of everything you might need. The crowning glory during our stay was the air conditioning. We appreciated it so much after a day out in the glorious, but very hot, sunshine. The location was perfect, in a quiet side street but near the cathedral and a beautiful square with cafes and restaurants. There were stops for two tram lines just around the corner. Having said that most places we visited were within easy walking distance. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment.

The apartment is beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and welcoming. The bed was large and comfortable with crisp but soft sheets. There was fresh water, condiments and all you needed to settle in for a short or long stay. I loved the location looking at the grand church across the road. The tram was only a few metres away. Lots of food shops, bars and cafes. In short, it was perfect for my one week stay. Thank you.

This small but well decorated apartment was a great place to stay. Fab location and the balcony was a bonus. The owner/manager was responsive when needed. Something to note for people intending to order an uber from the apartment - they can't drive up to the house. You need to walk to another street, so if you have a lot of luggage, bear that in mind. The trams are right by the apartment - that's really convenient for anyone using those!

My partner and I loved our short stay at Suzanna’s Bordeaux apartment. It’s spacious, well decorated, extremely clean, and has all of the amenities you would need for a short or long stay in Southwest France. We also found the apartment to be incredibly well located: right outside a Tram stop, and within minutes walking of many central restaurants and shops in Bordeaux. We hope to come back soon and stay here again!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for the week’s stay. We appreciated the small details like hand soap at each sink, tissues, plenty of toilet paper :), salt/pepper/saran. The instruction book was very detailed on restaurant suggestions, grocery stores, coffee bars as well as tours. Loved the balcony and had a glass of wine out there (almost) each night! The tram stop is around the corner which meant getting to/from the train station (or anywhere!) was extremely easy. We highly recommend this apartment and hope to return to Bordeaux (someday!) and stay in this place again.

Superb flat located in the heart of the city close to restaurants, bakeries, shops and transport links. Balcony with seating is a bonus. Despite being next to tram stop and cathedral, flat is quiet and no noise heard in the bedroom at the back of the property. Trish is a responsive and considerate host; the visitor guide was detailed and restaurant recommendations were excellent. Hope to return in future!

Beautiful cozy apartment in a great location. Perfect for winter or summer visits. Would definitely stay here again. We walked everywhere. Do get the tram from the airport as stops less than 2 mins from the apartment. Our stay at Suzanna's was perfect! The apartment was even better than in the pictures, very nice, the balcony overlooks a very quiet street with magnificent views of the cathedral. Living room and open kitchen are very comfortable and perfectly equipped. The room, bed and bathroom are perfect too, new, cozy, clean. You will find plenty of care and recommendations. The fact that we chose to stay here a second time should say a lot. It is perfectly located...only steps away from the tram lines, well positioned for multiple activities, and around the corner from our favorite coffee place. Check is was very easy The apartment itself is gorgeous and sitting on the balcony looking at the cathedral is wonderful. Important thing to us...shower is great! We would and will stay here again in the future. Now if we could only buy the place for a retirement apartment ;)

What a fantastic place in a great position. We had been holidaying in Spain, Portugal and France in Air BnNs. This was the best in regard to feeling at home, great spot, neighbourhood lovely and beautiful apartment. Positioned 1 minute walk to team interchange enables you to get around city so easily. 30 metres from Cathedral, best bakery so close, great restaurants. Checkin was so easy and flexible as well. We had a great time staying here in Bordeaux. The apartment is in a Superb location near lots of great restaurants, bars and historical sites. Bordeaux is very walkable and has great public transport/uber so we didn't bother hiring a car. The apartment is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Trish was also very helpful and we would thoroughly recommend this apartment to couples looking for accommodation in Bordeaux. Bordeaux, is right at the top my list of my favourite French cities now.

A luxurious apartment just off Place Berland and an easy walk to all the St Pierre cafes and restaurants. The apartment had everything you would ever need and more. It oozes style and quality and is extremely comfortable and quiet. A balcony also means you can sit and look across at the cathedral St. Andre. Easy place to relax and also get around Bordeaux with the tram stop at the end of the street. We took a day trip to Arcachon - a great coastal getaway 50mins by train. The seafood plates at the Arcachon markets were quality at bargain prices!

A beautiful, well-appointed, and comfortable apartment. Wonderfully located for transit and walking Bordeaux. Very quiet, especially at night, and the bed is very comfortable. I stayed almost 3 months, and it was an excellent experience, and I was happy to call it home for a while. Trish was responsive, offered a friendly welcome, and provided excellent cleaning service every few weeks. Very pleased to have chosen this apartment and city for my first sojourn in France.

This place is just incredible! Pictures do not do it justice. The apartment is absolutely dreamy- from the decor to the beautiful views of the cathedral from the balcony. The host worked with us on a flexible check in time since we were traveling to Bordeaux from another city in Spain, which was extremely helpful and we definitely appreciated it! We LOVED our time in Bordeaux and the location of this apartment was perfect. We were able to walk to a lot of places and everything was pretty accessible. Don't hesitate and book this place if you can!!!

Beautiful apartment in a very central location right next to the cathedral and a lovely balcony with a view of the cathedral. Despite being central it is surprisingly quiet too, even in the daytime. Check-in was smooth and great communication. Easy to find. We found everything we needed and more was supplied - even a good quantity of coffee capsules, great for me as a big coffee drinker! Very clean and tidy, well presented with lovely decor. Perfect for a weekend away, or even longer! We wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.

Beautiful, central starting point for exploring Bordeaux. The apartment is very centrally located within sight of the cathedral in a quiet side street, the tram runs right around the corner. Supermarket, bakery, frommagerie etc. all within about 5 minutes' walk. We were there without a car (parking would be a problem). Uber works very well in Bordeaux. The apartment is located in a historic building on the first floor and is very stylishly renovated. The bedroom is at the back. The apartment is so quiet that we could always sleep with the balcony door open. To the rear you look at a small courtyard overlooking another apartment. Here it depends on whether you are cooking or eating there, whether you can leave the windows open to the back. Highly recommend overall.

Perfect location, very French apartment. Nicely stocked. Bed is very comfortable. There was a bit of noise between the walls/floors, but it didn’t bother us much. The bedroom is actually quite quiet in relation to street noise. Communication with the hosts was excellent. We would happily stay here again.

This is the most perfect apartment for visiting Bordeaux. The location is so central that you can walk most places from there. And sitting on the balcony looking out at the cathedral at night just magical. The apartment is very well equipped with added unexpected extras like beautiful toiletries . Communication from the hosts both before and during our visit was very prompt and courteous. We would highly recommend this place - you will not be disappointed.

A beautiful flat in the centre of Bordeaux. It’s a delight living in the heart of a city and yet also being able to sleep peacefully- we absolutely loved it. It is a tasteful, dignified and comfortable apartment. The bed, the shower and amenities were all great. A marvellous view of the cathedral can be had from the balcony. Bordeaux is a complex city with a myriad of areas to explore. You will neither starve or go thirsty in Bordeaux.

Just returned from a fantastic stay in Bordeaux. The location of the apartment was perfect and in one of our favourite areas. We didn’t need to use public transport during our stay. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had nice extra touches such as a nespresso coffee machine and complimentary natural shower gel and shampoo. Suzanna's place is so cozy and is perfectly situated right next to the Saint André cathedral. The place has a great vibe and comes with a patio overlooking the cathedral entrance. It was a perfect jumping off point to walk around the city. There are tons of great restaurants and bars just within a few blocks; we loved to hang out just on the other side of the cathedral for beers. The proximity to the parking complex just around the corner was also a plus for us, as we had rented a car to explore the wine country outside of town. All in all would highly recommend staying here. We can't wait to come back!

One of the best listings I’ve stayed in over my 10 years on Airbnb. The location couldn’t be better; the flat is absolutely gorgeous; everything is wonderfully well thought out; and communication with the owner was a delight. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

Fantastic flat, ideal for a couple: tastefully decorated and impeccably clean. Located in the centre of Bordeaux but very quiet, with two tram lines nearby (although everything is within walking distance). Trish and her son are very welcoming, friendly and highly responsive.

A perfect apartment in a perfect location with responsive hosts. The location of the apartment is very central and is within the better areas of Bordeaux to visit. We had the choice to walk or take the trams everywhere. The apartment is very well stocked with every little detail that you need. The bedding and furnishings are of high quality. The bed is super comfortable. Top rental.

A stay that exceeded what we saw on the listing! This is an amazing apartment in the heart of Bordeaux. As good as the pictures look, they really do no do justice to the apartment itself Location: It is less than a block from 2 tram stops which means that you can get pretty much anywhere you would want to get. If you are a walker, the location means that it is at most 25-30 minute walk to anywhere in the old town. There are a huge number of restaurants, coffee shops, wine caves, and retail shops easily reachable Communication: Suzanna and Trish were easily reachable by phone, text, and WhatsApp The apartment itself: Great décor, very usable kitchen space, and (sometimes an issue) a really great shower! In brief, I would not hesitate in the least to recommend staying here and I hope to do so again soon

This apartment is a gem and extremely well located, just steps from the St Andre Cathedral which you can see from the balcony. Place is newly renovated and ultra clean with everything you need for a great stay in Bordeaux. We’ll be back on our next visit.

The apartment is absolutely beautiful! Its stylish and sparkly clean. The location couldn't be better as its very central near restaurants, shops and main sites. The apartment is fully equipped which is a plus if you've been travelling like us for over two weeks. Trish and her husband welcomed us into the apartment, gave us a tour and also provided us with helpful tips for amazing restaurants. We couldn't have asked for better hosts and we would 100% stay at this beautiful apartment again.

The appartment is realy great, we enjoyed our stay It was very clean, quiet, great location. There are bakeries, shops,supermarkets, tram very close to the appartment. The appartment was warm, hot water all day, very nice bath We recommand!

My husband and I came to Bordeaux for our honeymoon and stayed at this wonderful place. The location was amazing with a beautiful view from the balcony of a local church and in walking distance to all the places we wanted to go. The host was prompt, responsive and helpful. The place was decorated very nicely and more spacious than it looks in photos, with a clean modern design with elegant touches and a beautiful historical building. Suzanna and her family were very accommodating and provided us with all we could have needed during our stay. We would recommend her place to any couple looking for a wonderful place to stay in Bordeaux. We hope to visit again sometime!

The apartment is in a fabulous location and has been renovated with care and attention and presented in beautiful French sophisticated style. It has everything required for a very comfortable stay and is beautifully maintained with attention to detail. Trish was kind enough to greet us and see us off on departing - a great personal touch.
