Excellent location literally minutes walk from the tram stop. Bordeaux has frequent, well connected, safe and clean transport network to all parts of the city. Apartment is spacious, plenty of wardrobe space, strong shower and well-equipped galley kitchen. Charlotte who met us is very friendly. On the down side, there was a very strong musty smell when we arrived which persisted and frankly was a bit sickly. Such a pity! We opened all the windows and patio doors instantly. The apartment needs to be aired before arrival. There are many good points but calling it luxury oversells it and it is pricey - it is in need of refreshing. We do not usually point out any negatives, but this has so much more potential if given some TLC.

I loved staying in this beautiful, spacious apartment. It was extremely well supplied with everything I could have needed. The tram stop is just around the corner and the area is walkable and close to grocery stores, small shops, the tourist office and much more.

The apartment's ultra high ceilings increased the already sense of spaciousness. The bedroom being at the back meant we slept like the dead. Excellent control over heating in different rooms. A nice touch to have been provided with enough coffee pods to last the duration but there was an also a fancy built-in ground coffee machine. I particularly enjoyed the apartment's proximity to the tram (1 minute away), several excellent coffee shops, and the beautiful public garden. Charlotte couldn't have been more helpful in assisting us in arriving from the train station. No hesitation in recommending this apartment.

Ideally located: tram D nearby. Shops and restaurants just steps away. Apartment with a lot of charm with cleaning products, hygiene products, coffees and teas etc...in good quantities provided. A nice welcome surprise awaited us: a bottle of Bordeaux with aperitif biscuits. We would recommend it in a second.

This apartment was fantastic. So large and bright. 1 1/2 block walk to the tram, which was super convenient. A great place across the street called Oliver‘s for lunch or breakfast. We took the tram all over the place. Don’t miss Bar a vin or Cité du vin.

It is a perfect location for our trip to Bordeaux. We loved the shops in the neighborhood and the access to the park. Very easy to get on the tram or walk everywhere. The apartment was very warm and comfortable. The kitchen is adequate for one week but not large enough for more than one person to prepare meals. However, the living room and dining room and the bedroom are all very spacious.

The apartment has great potential given its location and its architecture. However, it smells musty, it is not cleaned thoroughly—blood on underpad of bed and hair on rug, the entrance lock needs maintenance so it’s easier to get in— we panicked opening the door each time, the facet in the bathtub is broken, and although indicated there was no wine in the wine fridge.

This was our 2nd stay at Suzanna’s lovely apartment. It is a great choice to enjoy beautiful Bordeaux. The location is perfect-easy walk to city centre and all attractions..or a tram a few steps away. The apartment is very large and elegant and so quiet, but once on the street you have it all at your doorstep-the wonderful,public gardens, great restaurants and cafes, enticing patisseries, good supermarkets and the joy of just mingling with French locals going about their lives. Isn’t that what travel is about? The facilities are first class and the renovation of the apartment has succeeded in combining elegant Frenchness with modern amenities. The local contact, Charlotte, is excellent -responsive, efficient, well-informed and unfailingly available to respond when needed. If this all sounds too good to be true..it’s not. Find out for yourselves!!!! We’d return any time. Thank you Charlotte and Suzanna.

Excellent location. Very safe and friendly as well as walkable neighborhood. Close to beautiful public gardens, grocery and tram stops. Easy to find restaurants, pharmacies, and close to transportation to major sites. Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen. Great shower. Not much else you could ask for. Needed an electric fan during the recent extremely hot weather and one was available for us. Wonderful time in Bordeaux. You won't go wrong with this rental.

The apartment is very quiet which is very important to me. I was able to sleep without earplugs :-). There was a summer bar nearby, the atmosphere of which we enjoyed very much. The small courtyard was shady and cool, ideal in the summer heat and we could always enjoy our breakfast outside.

This is a beautiful apartment in a great location, we had such a great week here. Everything that the city has to offer is on your doorstep (& a beautiful park 20 metres away), but the great space of big, beautifully decorated living room & great kitchen means it’s a special place to stay home & cook lunch/dinner from the market if that’s what you want to do! Suzanna was super quick, friendly & helpful in all her communications & check-in was smooth & efficient. We love Bordeaux & will come back to stay at Suzanna’s place very soon.

Upon check in, we met with Charlotte who was super helpful. She explained everything about the apartment and recommended a couple of restaurants. The house book also provides a lot of detail. Wow ... a spacious, bright, well equipped and elegant apartment in a beautiful part of Bordeaux. The apartment is on a quiet street but only a short (5 minute max) walk to the park, tram stop, supermarket and other shops. Rue Fondaudège has many shops and cafes. Our favouite was Cafe Eriu @ 119 Rue Fondaudège ... an excellent place for breakfast or lunch. Suzanna and Charlotte were very responsive and helpful. Excellent communication and advice. We highly recommend this apartment.

Suzanna’s apartment is very well located, quiet, spacious, luminous during the days. It’s 2mins walk away from one of the entrances of the public park. During our stay the weather was very pleasant, sunny, we made some walks in the park. There’s a very nice boulangerie 10mins walk away from the apartment called ‘ Patisserie Boulangerie Guillaume’, supermarket and many good restaurants all in walking distance. Great and very spacious one bdrm with everything one could want. The local manager in Bordeaux, Charlotte, was exceptionally helpful during the check in riding with me to somewhat tricky to find car park, walking back and then making a reservation at a fantastic restaurant for us tired travelers which was four short blocks away. A storm and water caused an electrical circuit to go out and Charlotte had an electrician to fix it within hours of being informed. Have never experienced such a quick response when dealing with analogous problems in home. Finally, the apartment was not only very attractive and clean but unusually comfortable in terms of living area furniture, bed and linens. Was grpound floor conversion of very grand room in a handsome period building on a street with others Location about 10 blocks away from main shopping and downtown hotel was great to come home to at night after walking to wide variety of tourist, shopping sites and excellent restaurants.

Location was excellent - proximity to the Public Gardens (which are beautiful), public transport, local bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. was perfect. Spacious apartment, especially the living room. Even though there was easy access to all local amenities, the apartment was quiet. We experienced some maintenance issues - rain leakage over the kitchen door - Property Manager made us aware at check-in, but it was not possible to resolve during our stay, which was unfortunate.

The apartment is exactly as shown in the pictures. It’s very large and comfortable. We had a rental car that we rarely used that we parked in a public lot 10 min walk away. We were able to reserve a spot for the week with in/out privileges. We didn’t need the car because everything is walking distance or a short tram ride away (the tram stop is a 2 min walk). Be careful with the door lock. We locked ourselves out of the apartment even though we had the key with us. The door can only be locked from the inside using the key. We received two sets of keys when we checked in. Since we didn’t need both sets, we left one inserted in the lock from the inside so it was easier to lock/unlock the door. When we left the apartment, we took the other set of keys. It turns out there is an undocumented “security feature” that prevents unlocking the door from the outside when a key is inserted from the inside. That cost us €100, unfairly in our opinion since we had no way of knowing that.

Our stay at this apartment was truly delightful. The space was ample, with a luxurious living room that made us feel right at home. We were impressed by the excellent amenities provided. On a few occasions, we chose to dine in, and the well-equipped kitchen and dining area made these evenings enjoyable and convenient. The location of the apartment was ideal, nestled close to a serene public garden and the tram, yet it was wonderfully quiet at night, ensuring a peaceful rest. A standout feature for us was the unique metal courtyard door for the bedroom – it effectively blocked out the morning light, ensuring a restful sleep-in. We are eagerly anticipating our return to this charming rental in the near future.

This is the perfect spot to stay to explore Bordeaux. The house manager met us and walked us through and was super helpful at checkin. The apartment is nicely appointed and feels HUGE. The queen bed is very comfortable, the kitchen came nicely stocked and it was easy to cook our meals when we weren’t enjoying the amazing restaurants close by. The built in espresso machine was a nice perk. The little patio was great to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air. You have everything you need within a block or two to feel right at home You’re only half a block from the beautiful gardens and your local Patisserie is only one block away. And just go a few more blocks and you’re in the middle of ALL the action. The location is great, street is quiet and building is very secure. Overall a great place and location and with a super fair price. We highly Recommend !

Bordeaux is a beautiful city. The location of this apartment is outstanding. It is situated steps away from the gorgeous Public Botanique Garden and the neighbourhood is classy and full of culture and history. You are very close to many options for restaurants, including a cinema theatre. I walked the whole city from home during most of my stay. I do highly recommend to use the public transport - tram and bus - if need be. I will be back to this gorgeous city. And will definitely opt to stay at this location again.

We stayed at Suzanna’s in Bordeaux for our honeymoon. The apartment is HUGE, especially compared to our hotel in Paris. The location is lovely and quiet and very close to a beautiful park / garden and lots of restaurants. Only a 15 minute walk to the centre of town and the river. Well equipped kitchen with a good coffee machine. Bed was a little firm but comfortable. Very large wardrobe and seperate toilet to bathroom.

We loved our seven days here, and would book it again. The photos are accurate. The apartment comes with many nice touches, nice soaps, a shopping cart, a room darkening blind in the bedroom, a teapot and a wine cooler, and since in Bordeaux many wine glasses! We used the terrace to sip wine and enjoy afternoons outside. Being close to the Jardin Public was relaxing. Don’t miss getting a crepe from the stand in the park or a morning of snapping pics.

Perfect apartment in a terrific neighborhood for our week in Bordeaux. Suzanne was very easy to communicate with, very helpful, as was the property manager. The Public Gardens are right around the corner, tram stop nearby and everything we wanted to do was within a 15-min walk. The apartment is spacious and well appointed, and the patio a delight. Suggestions for things to do and places to eat were much to our liking. Would happily return and highly recommend!

This was our first time to Bordeaux which is beautiful. The apartment was just right, ideally placed next to the Jardin Public and in a quiet road but within easy walking distance of the city centre. It was spotless. The kitchen was extremely well equipped and the courtyard garden a delight. We were well looked after by Hugo and Charlotte who made sure we were comfortable and all was well. We were able to arrive early and leave our bags before the cleaners were finished. They too could not do enough for us. We had a truly wonderful time in a truly wonderful place,

A peaceful street near the park, easily walkable to the river and centre of Bordeaux. The apartment is spacious and well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The one drawback is it receives no direct sunlight, so would be comparatively cool and dark out if spring and summer, but not a problem for us in April. Lovely stay and very helpful host.

Bordeaux was a great spot to be in for Christmas and New Year! So much to do and see there. The apartment was a lovely place to stay for a month. The salon is grander than it looks in the photos and the bedroom is spacious with a charming patio. Great to have a laundry room with a washer/dryer combo, too. We were appreciative of Suzanna's and Charlotte's help during our stay. The apartment is located in a residential neighborhood half a block from the Jardin Public, an enormous and beautiful park built in 1756 filled with strollers and trees. There is an excellent patisserie/boulangerie just a few blocks away, a massive Roman ruin two blocks away, a grocery store three blocks away, and the center of Bordeaux is 1 tram stop away. You won't be at a loss for things to do and see!

Fabulous location right adjacent to a beautiful park & a short walk to the main central shopping area. It’s a beautiful apartment-so big for Europe & really well renovated. It is that great mixture of French atmosphere & ambience and quality modern conveniences where they count. Suzanna & her managers, Charlotte & Hugo, were promptly responsive when we needed them & offered immediate practical help with the quirks of French utilities! We recently spent a week at Suzanna’s lovely well appointed apt in Bordeaux. The apartment was located in central Bordeaux close to all of the amenities the city offers. We rented a car (convenient parking garage only an 8 min walk from apartment) and arrived the day of check in and Charlotte, the property manager met us promptly to walk us through and hand over they keys. The spacious and bright apartment is ground floor with all the character and feel of an old city but with updated/modern amenities (laundry, dishwasher, microwave) and a lovely private patio for morning coffee and dinners. The location was very walkable to restaurants, grocery stores, the water, park and more. Suzanna and Charlotte were excellent in helping us with any questions from the moment we booked our trip through our stay. Would definitely recommend and would stay again with pleasure!

This was my 103rd Airbnb visit, and I have stayed in places in 33 different countries. I can say without qualification that this was the most beautiful and enjoying visit I have ever made to an Airbnb. The apartment is in a beautiful old building with many gracious design elements. The space has been renovated with superb taste and many high-end finishes. It was quiet, easy to find, and there were lots of grocery options nearby so that we could buy ingredients for cooking in the well-equipped kitchen. We loved it!

We stayed in this home for about six weeks and everything went very well for us. The home is in good shape and had everything we needed to fully live there for that long. We were working remotely during our stay, very late hours so we could align with our teams in the US, but it was honestly pretty ideal for us. The internet was strong enough that we could both be on Zoom calls at the same time. There is a large dining table we both comfortably set up at - though the acoustics in the living room meant that one of us needed to take calls in the hallway if we had to speak at the same time (totally fine, there was space). There is great lighting that helped us work and stay awake for those late hours. On top of that, in the bedroom there is an awesome black out screen on the door that made it easy for us to sleep later to offset our late hours. Charlotte, who was our contact during our stay was top notch and super helpful. She speaks English so we didn't have to struggle through interactions with our just okay French. Finally the location is perfect. Tons of food options, things to see, less than a block to the park, a short walk to Rue Sainte-Catherine, and two blocks from the metro. This was a perfect long term remote work stop for us.

Suzanna's place was one of my favourite AirBNB stays. The flat is large and spacious and has everything you need. It is decorated simply but stylishly. Although it is on the more expensive end of one bedroom properties in Bordeaux, its space and luxurious amenities make it worth while. It has a great coffee machine (fully stocked), super modern kitchen and even a "real" hair dryer - not one of the small travel ones usually provided. The location is fantastic - it feels like you are in a real neighbourhood, but only a few minutes walk to the centre of town or to Chartrons. Check in was very simple and communication with Suzanna and her property manager was excellent. They couldn't do enough for us, and provided a high quality cot for our baby. Would definitely stay here again.

Location - close to the centre without being in it, which was perfect with a baby. Relatively quiet road (can hear the neighbours in the law office upstairs walking around sometimes, but it wasn’t loud or disruptive for us), and right next to a main street with a bakery (Perrin), cheese shops, meat shops, and a couple of grocery stores. And also right next to the Jardin Public was amazing for us for running and for playing at the playground with our 10 month old. Apartment - very spacious, tidy, and thought out. Helpful goodies like butter, milk, and crackers, and a couple of bottles of wine to be replaced if consumed, just to get us started. Modern microwave, oven, and stovetop were very helpful to us as was the wine fridge! Since the seasons were turning and the building hadn’t agreed to turn on the heat yet we made use of the space heaters and were tripping the fuses occasionally and wearing layers, but all in all not a major issue for us. Tons of closet space, and a great bathtub/shower! There is a single step up into the kitchen which is worth noting if you have mobility issues or kids - ours loved crawling up it, but required constant and proximate supervision! Host - very responsive via messaging and kind of them to help us arrange a transfer to the airport. We checked in late at night due to an evening flight arrival and paid a fee to do the late checkin, but were grateful to be met at 10pm with a smiling face. Thanks for a great stay in a lovely city!

Loved staying at Suzanna’s place in Bordeaux. The apartment was SO spacious and it was so nice to spread out after two weeks of hotels and rooms in Chateaux. We wanted for nothing as there were plenty of linens, kitchen supplies, etc. The coffee machine was GREAT! We were met by Charlotte, who explained everything thoroughly, and left her contact info for us to call her with any problems/questions. She also showed us the “tourist” info left there, and went over our map with us with suggestions. Loved being in a neighborhood with the local butcher, fish shop, bakery, veggie/fruit shops, cheese shop, wine store, etc. within one or two blocks. And don’t miss the little restaurants right there. The location was central to all areas of interest in Bordeaux. We walked pretty much everywhere we wanted to go. There was a beautiful, restful park on the block, and different directions took you to beautiful shopping areas, and great restaurants everywhere. Very convenient to the easy, clean trams if you happened to purchase some things and wanted to ride back to the apartment! After a few days we realized just how well the location worked for us. Surprisingly quiet also. Hopefully we will be coming back to Bordeaux. Such a great destination. And we would definitely stay at Suzanna’s again. Bring good walking shoes and get exploring on those cobblestone streets! Regina

This is a beautiful apartment in a perfect location. It's quiet and just a short walk through a lovely park into the city centre. Everything about our stay was excellent. One of the nicest airbnb's we have stayed in.

This apartment has the best location it is walking distance to the most important landmarks in Bordeaux. The neighborhood is very elegant and the proximity to the Public Gardens is amazing. It is very spacious and in excellent state. I had a wonderful time.

We stayed at Suzanna's place for a month and it was a great experience. It has a wonderful location, right next to a beautiful park/garden with great playgrounds for kids and toddlers. Its also close to an organic Sunday market, 2 big supermarkets and the unesco part of the city. Suzanna is so welcoming and takes time to connect with a guest. We didnt meet her personally but Charlotte, the property manager was just as nice and helpful. Suzanna even went out of her way to purchase a baby seat for our use during our stay. The place itself is clean and spacious with nice bed and great shower. The brochures, travel books and maps were quite handy to have and it was great to have things like cooking oil and spices for cooking too. Just a fantastic base to explore Bordeaux from.

The apartment is beautiful and in a fantastic location. The property manager, Charlotte, was a true professional and immediately helped with any queries or problems. We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 week stay.

I know Bordeaux well, and this is the best Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Right in the centre, close to a beautiful public park, with all public transport options. Suzanna and her colleagues are available, responsive, efficient and flexible. Both the venue and the service are of a high standard.

Beautiful neighbourhood, very well situated in Bordeaux with a very accurate listing. However, there was an awful smell which polluted the air in the apartment sporadically, which we believe was coming from the drains. This was very unfortunate as it spoiled the beautiful ambiance that the tasteful decor provided. We did speak to Management but didn't get to the bottom of it.

We were a party of 3 and the flat was perfect for us and very well-appointed, it was just as described and depicted on the website. Suzanna was very helpful in answering my questions before I booked and Charlotte was very welcoming when we arrived. We were able to chat with Charlotte about the area and she gave us advice about food shopping, galleries and restaurants in the vicinity. We also wanted to make a trip into the Medoc and Charlotte recommended places that she had enjoyed visiting - at the end of our stay she texted me to say I'd left something behind and we were able to meet to retrieve it! We would happily have stayed here a lot longer.

We loved our stay at Suzanna's apartment. It felt very luxurious and had everything we needed... and we really loved the coffee machine! The apartment is centrally located, was clean and secure and Susanna's team did an excellent job of helping us settle in. If definitely recommend staying here!

A perfect base from which to explore Bordeaux, within easy walking distance of the city centre and to the teams and buses which will take you further afield. We were visiting my daughter who is studying at Bordeaux university, the apartment's lovely large living/ dining room and well stocked modern kitchen was great for when we weren't sampling the tasty local cuisine and felt like a cosy night in cooking local produce instead. Despite being near to the city centre, the apartment is situated in a quiet street, at the end of the road is the "jardin de public" , a welcome oasis of tranquility after busy days exploring Bordeaux. The apartment was warm and cosy, plenty of heating should you need it, but lovely big windows to throw open wide when the weather warms up. We found the apartment easily and Charlotte was there to welcome us, she was very friendly and explained all we needed to know about our home for the week. We thoroughly enjoyed our week of French city living, quite a contrast to the West a Welsh countryside we had left behind. I would recommend this apartment for a break in Bordeaux if you want somewhere a little more luxurious with the relaxed atmosphere that self catering brings, Thank you Suzannah

Hi Suzanna, Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to use your lovely apartment . It exceeded your photos and descriptions. We really enjoyed the luxurious space and the very well equipped kitchen for preparing meals. However with all the beautiful places and restaurants within very easy walking distance we were truly spoilt. To have the beautiful park on our doorstep was also a real bonus. Our host Florence was really friendly and very informative on the apartment and Bordeaux and the surrounding areas. We also appreciated the free street parking as we had a hire car. We would have no hesitation to return to your apartment ( or perhaps try another one of yours - they all look great and we now know where they are in Bordeaux ) Our daughters are studying French at University and we're working on our youngest to have her "year-out" in Bordeaux so we can visit this beautiful City again Regards Richard and Caroline - Newcastle England
