Thank you Justine for a brilliant stay, our little family 2 and 5 year old loved living on a farm for a week in the summer holidays. The kids are still asking mum and dad if we can we go back to our little farm house 🥹 . Lovely area, beautiful views. Nic the owner was super helpful and responsive and made our stay brilliant. Thank you.

Simon and Nic were the best ever 🙏🏻 very friendly and flexible. The place was outstanding with a very beautiful farm around. Kids were very happy. The cottage is more than amazing. I loved everything about this holiday. Would definitely come back every year. We missed our keys chain and Simon posted it to where we live and refused to take any costs. We were just blessed by having them around.

Lovely farm and amazing views. The cottage was nice, cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. We were there with our little daughter (not yet two) who really enjoyed seeing all the animals.

We had such a lovely stay with 6 adults, a toddler and a dog. The place is beautifully decorated , very clean and they have thought of everything you might need. The view is absolutely stunning, the pictures just can’t do it justice! Nic met us when we arrived and showed us round the farm to see the animals. Our 14 month old loved it! They were really lovely hosts. We would love to go back again.

We had a lovely time. The rooms were clean, comfortable and exactly as described. Nic and Simon were wonderful hosts and the kids enjoyed helping with feeding the animals. The location is perfect for families - close to lots of the island's attractions, we only had to drive further than 15 minutes once but everything else was on our doorstep. I will miss the view and the peace and quiet of the farm. We would consider going back and highly recommend this accommodation especially to those with children. My one piece of advice to others is that if you go during the summer months, take mosquito repellent.

We had a wonderful time at Little Upton. The accommodation was really well done with thoughtful touches that made it really easy both for us and the kids. Seeing the animals every day was the icing on the cake.

Clean spacious comfortable accommodation with everything we needed. Nic and Simon excellent hosts for information and arranging a feeding session on their farm. Location good for beaches, Appley and Shanklin great for little ones. We found plenty to do in the wet weather, Tapnell Farm particularly enjoyable for our 4 and 2 year olds (and the adults too!). Would highly recommend, we hope to return.

We had a brilliant stay at Old Byre. The barn is beautifully converted, and the accommodation modern and clean. All bedrooms have an ensuite, which is really handy. It was also really well set up for small children - they provided a travel cot, bed guard, highchair and plastic plates etc. which was super helpful. Most of the crockery and kitchen utensils are John Lewis and Joseph Joseph which sounds silly to mention but it's a nice touch and speaks to the quality of the place. The views from the barn are stunning and you have access to a garden right out the front where the children can play. Plus the farm walk to see all the animals was a big hit. Would highly recommend and definitely come here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Firstly, the view from Old Byre is glorious. Then you've got fabulously spacious rooms, great facilities, friendly, thoughtful hosts and that's all based on a farm packed with gorgeous animals. Can't think of anything you could improve. Justine had thought of everything, including a really thorough covid welcome pack, and a lovely voucher for the locl farm shop. The IOW was wonderful for our small children. A particular highlight being Tapnell Farm Park. We will be back!

What an incredible stay we had at Old Byre. The location and accommodation were perfect and the views were the icing on the cake. Everything we could of needed was provided, including electric vehicle charging for free. The farm was amazing and our children loved seeing the goats and donkeys each day, Nic even introduced us to the pigs. I can’t recommend this place enough, especially for young families who love animals.

We had a wonderful stay at Old Byre. We loved the location, and they even added a welcome bin with additional cleaning supplies, slippers, and other nice items. We really appreciated that effort and extra energy that was put into preparing the home for our stay. Old Byre was a wonderful respite for our family, and we look forward to returning again in the future. Thank you for allowing us to be at your home!

From start to finish a flawless experience. Great communication from Justine and the owner. Beautiful house and gutted it’s booked up for summer holidays as would have been even nicer without the monsoon rains. Really top end holiday cottage with everything you need under 15 mins away. We have just returned from a lovely stay in Ryde. The accommodation was excellent, very comfortable beds though the pillows were too hard for us all and it would have been great to have had some baking sheets and some big serving bowls/platters and champagne flutes in the kitchen , drinking fizz in a wine glass isn’t quite the same! Nicky and Simon the owners were also brilliant and so quick to reply to our SOS message early one morning when we had a power cut and even brought us over a new toaster which had been the culprit of the blackout! We will definitely return!

An amazing find! The accommodation was spotless and a true home from home. It has everything that you need; I even managed to do a full Sunday roast. The farm walk is great for little ones and the location, as well as giving great views, is perfect for beach access. Would highly recommend.

Great property, lots of details well thought through, high quality furnishings/appliances/kitchen, impeccably clean stunning view and friendly owners who kindly showed us round the farm. Wouldn't hesitate to return!

We have just arrived home from a wonderful week in the barn. Stunning location on a working farm where my daughter enjoyed seeing the donkeys, goats, pigs and much more. Despite following covid guidelines and removing things like games and pillows from the house, it still had a very cosy and homely feel and had everything you could possible need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were nearby and happy to answer any questions we had! We will be back! X

The Old Byre was well equipped with essential amenities for a young family (incl. high chairs, travel cots, stair gate and etc.). The place was clean and spotless prior to check-in. We felt safe and comfortable throughout our stay despite C-19. The view from the Old Byre was simply spectacular, lots of greenery, and if you are lucky you might even spot the isle of wight steam railway passing through the horizon. Nic and Simon were excellent hosts. We got to join them on a breakfast walk around their farm and managed to feed the animals. Justine was responsive when booking and communication were with ease.

A really peaceful spot on IoW, stylish, great hosts through Nic and Simon, sparkling clean and very generous welcome pack. Got to feed the goats and alpacas, and belly rub the pigs!
