We had an Amazing stay at the cote. It was just what we were looking for. Lovely cottage, Simon and Nic were very friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. If you have children that like animals we had the chance to feed them whilst staying on the farm which was a nice touch. Will definitely be returning.

Recently stayed here, the place was fantastic, felt like a real cosy country home (so much so my children asked if we could have it back home). Kitchen had everything you could need and more. My wife loved the decor (she recognised the material used on the cushions/curtains straight away (must be a woman thing) lol. We'd definitely stay here again. I think the only downside was we had to leave our bikes outside (secure courtyard), so a little shed or storage somewhere would have been awesome (I don't like to leave our bikes out in the rain if we can avoid it). But overall it's a lovely place, and we would def look at booking it again when we next come to the IoW. Many Thanks Chris, Sarah and the boys

The ‘Cote’ was lovely although a little cold at times, especially in the early mornings with our young grandchildren. Nic and her husband were very nice and we were shown the animals and made to feel very welcome. The girls loved the donkeys Charlie and Chick especially! Sadly the weather was very wet so we couldn’t do a lot of the exciting things we had planned. We would certainly recommend The Cote to friends!

Great stay at The Cote. Justine and Nic very helpful in the build up, especially with the ferry crossing booking! Accommodation was perfect for us with two younger children with lots to see and do. Would definitely recommend.

The accommodation was ideal for our family of 4. Great location, the host was very responsive if we needed to contact them and friendly. The farm shop voucher was a great touch. We would throughly recommend to any families. Oh…and super comfy beds!!

We had a fantastic week staying at the Cote. The property looked wonderful from the pictures but it even surpassed our expectations. Everything was of high quality and we particularly enjoyed the BBQ in the courtyard. We liked having the privacy of our own garden and loved walking around the farm. The views are amazing and it was such a relaxing area to be in. The property was absolutely perfect for our toddler who could walk around the whole property safely. We were impressed at how child proof and safe the house was. A perfect holiday- thank you!

This is a fantastic space in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature and the farm. It is very comfortable and well appointed as well as very well set up for these difficult times. We loved it (despite the weather!).

We had a lovely time staying in The Cote. The accommodation was really nice, with everything you would expect. It's a nice environment for kids with a farm animal area and it's also dog friendly. As we have an electric vehicle the provision of free charging was ideal and worked flawlessly, highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay here. The location is beautiful, there are lots of great walks in the area and it's only a 10 minute car journey from Ryde. The apartment itself was clean and spacious, and a lot of thought had clearly been put into making sure everything was Covid safe. Would thoroughly recommend.

Great property , fantastic rural location . Children loved feeding all the animals on the farm. Having not been to the IOW before, the trip exceeded our expectations and we look forward to our return.

The Cote is located on small working farm housing lovely animals some of which are rescue. Our 6 year old daughter really enjoyed feeding them all, giving belly rubs to pigs and taking goats on a lead back to their barn. The accommodaction is spacious, immaculately clean with superb Covod19 procusyrea in place and very tastefully decorated. All kitchen utensils are provided and instead of a welcome pack our kind hosts include £20 voucher to be used in a local farm shop. As we had Tesco delivery arranged we used the voucher to get amazing steaks for dinner. Beef was reared on that farm and they also sell their own dairy producta, local vegetables and fruit as well as some lovely local produce. There is ample parking including two electric charging points and a decent WiFi. We would definitely come back next year, circumstances permitting, and wish both Nic and Simon the best of luck in their already very successful venture.

Simon and Nick made us feel very welcome and they were perfect hosts. The children loved the animals (as did we). The property was well equipped, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed in terms of equipment and more. It was a home from home. We will visit again. Amazing.

This is a really lovely barn nestled in a farm in beautiful countryside. We were lucky to get a last minute booking and we’re so glad we did. The cottage is really comfortable and exceptionally well-equipped. There was nothing that we felt was lacking. If you wanted to do lots of cooking the kitchen has everything you need. Pretty enclosed courtyard for barbecuing and general chilling out. The owners Nic and Simon live next door and were available at the beginning and end of our trip to answer any questions but otherwise kept out of our way. Phone numbers were provided if we needed them. Simon gave us a lovely tour of the smallholding including getting to stroke the very tame pigs and visit the Alpacas. This is a great holiday property and in reach of some stunning beaches and countryside.
