Poppy lodge is in a very peaceful location and within a short drive of many of the Isle of Wight’s attractions. We had a great time here with our kids and would be happy to recommend the property to anyone.

Very responsive host and a lovely clean property which had everything we needed. We found that the balcony only really got the sun in the middle of the day when we were out, which was a bit unfortunate as we were hoping to sit out more for meals. Access was at the bottom of a hill with a narrow turn which was not quite what we expected. We still had a lovely stay.

Great lodge in a lovely peaceful location. Justine was a great host and very accommodating when our trip didn’t go to plan. Would highly recommend this place. Hope to return again soon .

Lovely spot in beautiful, peaceful surroundings right next to a very pretty small lake. The home is very nicely decorated and has all the amenities you might need. The location is great with many attractions within a few minutes drive. I would highly recommend.

Peaceful few days stay at Poppy Lodge. Beautiful surroundings, great fishing, and perfect weather. The lodge is immaculate, and had everything we could possibly have needed. 4 year old and 18 month old also had the best time, and loved the ‘holiday house’.

We loved Poppy Lodge. It is really well appointed, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a homely stay, especially the Bluetooth music system. We would very much like to stay there again and would recommend it highly. Justine was extremely responsive ahead of and during our trip and really friendly too, which made for a relaxing stay. Apart from being a lovely rural location and certainly one of, if not THE best site on Roebuck country park, the lodge is in a great place for access to many of the attractions of the Island. We particularly enjoyed the whistle of the steam engines which run nearby and the noises of the wildlife on the pond.

My family absolutely loved this lodge. Serene and peaceful views over the water and countryside. South facing veranda was lovely to chill out on. The photos to be honest don't do justice to how large the living area is. It felt huge due to the high ceilings. It was spotless and immaculate when we arrived. Also it's location within the park at the end of a drive means you don't have any cars driving past. Location wise it's perfect for exploring the Isle of Wight. We were able to visit Sandown, Shanklin, Butterfly World, Amazon World and more and not having to drive more than 20 minutes was perfect with a little one. We honestly couldn't fault this lodge at all and can't wait to return.

We stayed here over the weekend of Isle of Wight Festival. Lovely area but we should of done our research on bus routes as quite a walk home from the nearest village in the early hours of the morning. But totally our fault for not checking! The area is very peaceful, right on a little lake and we hardly saw any other people over the weekend. Perfect for a quiet weekend away. Thank you

Lodge was beautifully clean and welcoming. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked and spotless - the best we have ever come across in any self-catering holiday home. The bed and sofas were comfortable and the location was perfect with the pond and views and was lovely to hear the wildlife in the peaceful surroundings. It was nice to know other people were around in the other lodges so didn't feel isolated but had the privacy as well. Justine was promptly available if any questions did arise. If we return in the future (which we hope to!), we will be sure to check if Poppy Lodge is available and will highly recommend to friends and family too. Thank you for a lovely holiday base!

We had a wonderful, peaceful stay at 'Poppy'. It was spacious, warm, immaculately clean and had everything we needed. The location was lovely, overlooking the lake and waking up to the relaxing sound of ducks on the water added to the tranquility. Justine was a great host and access and directions were clearly communicated. We would recommend to anyone visiting the IOW.

This was a lovely property, inside and out. Well equipped home. After a busy day sightseeing, it was so peaceful to relax by the pond watching the ducks, listening to the sound of a woodpecker as well as the toot of the steam train in the distance. The home is centrally located with easy access to key sites/attractions and shopping. The Tesco Extra was just a short drive. We had a little problem finding the house but a few days later proper signage was installed along the park road to provide site numbers. Top oven proved to be a challenge for us but it is to be used for grilling/browning and not for cooking. Misunderstanding on our part but Justine not only responded promptly on a Saturday night, she also appeared on Sunday with the gas guy to ensure that it was working properly. 5 stars to Justine!

What a gorgeous lodge! Really spacious and luxurious. Communication with Justine was swift and effective. Absolutely loads to do on IOW. The site that Poppy lodge is situated in is very quiet and peaceful.

The lodge was fantastic. It was spotless and everything was brand new. We thought we were the first ones to rent it and only found out otherwise when we saw the guestbook. It had everything we needed and so much more. Modern, very well equipped and so quiet!! Lovely ducks and rabbits around the park. We loved it!!

Peaceful, everything you'd need and more in the lodge, old oak trees, wildlife and some very funny ducks on the lake, one of which actually laughs! :) Such a joy and it was perfect for us in between moving homes. Thank you Justine for all your quick responses in sorting Wifi too.

Amazing lodge. Best plot in the whole park, lovely with the lake view and ducks. Very quiet although mid week you can hear the murmuring of the diggers working on the park. Great amenities and so clean!

A fantastic accommodation, which has been ideal for a relaxing but fun filled family week away with my husband and our one year old son. The location is perfect - very close to the ferry, Ryde and a perfect base for exploring the island, whilst being very relaxing whilst at the lodge. The accommodation itself is fantastic, and as it is so new has a very clean, pristine feel to it. The open plan layout makes it very spacious. It has great equipment including every kitchen requirement you could think of! The view from the lodge over the lake is beautiful. The ducks are such a relaxing and welcome addition to the holiday! We will definitely be returning...Thank you !

Wow!! Poppy Lodge is just a amazing place, as its brand new it is in perfect condition as you would aspect, the owners/host have done a fantastic job of kitting out the place with all what you need for your stay, the kitchen is well supplied with all what you need from plate sets to all the cooking utensils needed, poppy comes with a dishwasher and washing machine, even though we took our own dishwasher and washing tablets, some were supplied to get you started which was a nice touch. the lodge has 3 TV's all with built in Netflix, a Bluetooth speaker system, enough lighting to illuminate Blackpool!!, The decking has a patio set and 2 recliner chairs, Justine the Host was perfect and very prompt with a question I had, the fishing is really good at the top lake (some Big Carp in there) All in all we as a family had an amazing time
