We had a wonderful time in the house in the Medina. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were there in January and it was warm and cozy thanks to some heaters and warm blankets. It is a nice place to rest and recharge after a day out in Fes. Communication was super easy and helpful. Thanks so much for everything!

We stayed for 10 nights over Christmas and New Year. It is a traditional dar with lots of character and very interesting. Access is via narrow alleyways and there is often rubbish, which can make arrival feel less inviting. There was heavy rain and a roof leak, which was fixed the next day. Mouanis was very responsive and helpful, and also made excellent recommendations for restaurants and organised a hammam and a guided medina tour, all of which we enjoyed. The hosts were also responsive and their handbook was useful. The kitchen was well equipped and the house generally warm with electric blankets and heaters. The fireplace was quite smoky, so we stopped using it. Bathrooms are mostly within bedrooms with limited partitioning, one drain smelled throughout our stay, and the downstairs toilet was useful but cold. We did see cockroaches and were provided with spray. Unfortunately, we lost a watch in the house and were disappointed it was not found. Overall, a good stay.

The Riad was beautiful and very large. However, there was a somewhat uncomfortable smell of humidity. On the other hand, the bedding was extremely clean and the kitchen was well equipped. Access to the Riad was greatly facilitated by Mouanis, who guided us from the parking lot, but the alley leading to it was dirty. It is however well located for visiting the medina and living a little to the rhythm of the Moroccans. Mouanis recommended us a great restaurant in the medina, and he was extremely responsive and accommodating. We would recommend this Riad to anyone who loves an authentic experience and is a little adventurous.

Traditional riad in the middle of old Medina. The windowless accommodation with the central atrium can't be found without outside help. Therefore, be sure to accept the help of Mouannis, who can also be booked as a friendly guide. We had three varied days (1st day tour of the eastern part of the medina, 2nd day trip with driver to the Atlas Mountains and on the 3rd day visit to the western part of the medina, this part is easier to explore without strangers). It is not cozily warm in the accommodation in winter, but with the heating blankets described you can sleep very well. Showers etc. are just as warm and comfortable.

We had a very pleasant stay and we particulary enjoyed the roof top terrace. The riad is rather dark and humid but also very beautiful and very well equipped.
