The place is in a great location for walking the city and enjoying restaurants and bars/clubs. We had the best time. The points came off of my rating because of the neighbors upstairs. I swear they did military drills from 6AM until 2AM every day walking back and forth non-stop and knocking over a chair at each end of their house. It was constant and very very irritating. If you are a light sleeper this place will not work for you. The second major issue was the beds. Thankfully it was only three of us, because there were three very comfy beds. The other beds were not usable. They were like sleeping on stacked plywood. I couldn't believe there was such a difference. Next, the "AC/Heat" is ONLY in the bedrooms. The living room, kitchen, hallway and bathrooms were freezing while we were there. We made it work by using the fans to blow heat into the hallways. Lastly, the place was "clean" but a typically well worn AirBnB. No idea how this got a 4.96. But it wasn't bad.

This was a great location for our family. We could walk to all the highlights, but enjoyed being in a quiet neighborhood just around the corner from shops and restaurants. The apartment was clean but there was just a bit of mold in the shower. The bedding was nice and crisp which was greatly appreciated. There was a strange noise in the hallway that seemed to be coming from plumbing or an ac unit outside of the apartment. It was pretty loud, but thankfully when we closed the bedroom door it did not keep us awake. This noise was primarily at night. Overall, this was a very good experience and I high recommend it for families. Our granddaughter loved her bed and the toys she found there!

We stayed at Joao and Taryn’s place for for business/pleasure. It is very large and has plenty of space. The patio was a nice addition for morning coffee. You could open the sliders to the dining room/kitchen. Had a great parking space not far from the apartment. Great restaurants within a 3 minute walk. All in all it is a great place if you are visiting Lisboa.

This place is excellent for so many reasons. 1) It’s a great combination of being spacious and one floor living. 2) The host is very responsive and even met up with us to orient us to the space and give us specific tips based on what we wanted to do (in addition to the plethora of suggestions they already give). 3) It is PERFECT for a small child—so many toys that our little one enjoyed. 4) Comfortable beds 5) great location with good restaurants and parks in walkable distance. The only disadvantage is that the owner is not interested in selling us the place :). Thanks so much for everything.
