The place was very spacious and decorated fun. It is well stocked and very clean. Communication was excellent The place is located in areas of night clubs and bars and can be loud on Friday and Saturday night. But if that doesn’t bother you much it’s a great place.

The apartment worked well for us - 4 women traveling together. We each had a separate bed. Comfy beds! Good A/C. Thankful for the elevator! Used it with our luggage when we arrived and when we left. Good location near the big market.

Everything was great. The location makes it easy to get to see many things. There is also close access to the train. There is a little bit of noise, but not enough to disturb us. Really appreciate the local knowledge and assistance on planning a trip. Everything at the house worked well.

This is a great spot! Location is perfect, within walking distance to all the best neighborhoods in Lisbon. Elevators are hard to come by in Lisbon, so having one to bring multiple suitcases in and out of the apartment made the check in/out process much smoother. I think the stand out part of this place is João and his team’s communication. They reached out several times with helpful information, and even checked in on us when the funicular accident happened. The only downside for us was the loud music on Thursday & Friday that we could hear when we tried to sleep, but with our sound machine and ear plugs it was fine. We knew this would happen staying so central to everything! Overall great stay :)

DANGEROUS - AVOID AT ALL COSTS Most traumatic Airbnb experience ever. Unauthorized German woman claiming to be host’s wife (NOT listed as co-host) illegally entered at 11am with 2 others while I was sleeping. She: • Physically assaulted and threw us out • Recorded us without consent, invading privacy • Made racial slurs and xenophobic threats • Stole my friend’s music equipment • Falsely accused us of throwing a party (we were 4 people within booking limits) Threatened us saying we “don’t belong in this country” and her husband is portuguese. We filed police report, and I had to leave Portugal immediately for safety. Police searched with my friend but stolen items were gone. This person has NO official Airbnb status yet acts with complete impunity. Host João either allows this criminal behavior or has zero control over his property. CRIMINAL ACTIVITY OCCURRED HERE. DO NOT BOOK. Zero stars if possible. Airbnb is investigating but damage is done.

We loved our stay in Lisbon. The apartment was clean and in a very popular area with lots of restaurants nearby. It is the touristy area but we were not bothered by noise at all. The metro is close by as well. The host was so helpful and very responsive!! Made recommendations for restaurants and activities that were very helpful. Beds are firm FYI. would definitely recommend and stay again!!

Perfect fit for our multigenerational family trip. It is close by to everything including public transportation if you want to visit other areas. Location is awesome! So much to walk to. Even though it says the 3rd floor it was only 16 steps with landings in between. We had no problem with luggage on the easier access/stairs entrance even with my father who has a sore knee. Our kids (5 & 8) loved the place. The noise from pink street didn’t bother us but we travel with small white noise machines so we wouldn’t know the difference. We stayed here during the national holiday and were not disturbed by any noise. Clean place, very responsive, proactive, and friendly host. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to return soon!

This place was spacious and super walkable! We enjoyed staying here as it was super close to all the main attractions and train station. Couple of things to note is that one of the rooms has red lighting and it’s uncomfortable for the eyes and especially getting ready. It also gets very loud at night which if you are planning on sleeping early you won’t be able to as street is very busy and it could get loud. Everything else was great! We loved hanging out in Lisbon

We had a fantastic stay at joao’s flat in Lisbon. The flat is in a great location very close to the river and close to lots of great bars and restaurants. The flat is very clean and Joao & Christina were very helpful with helping us check in & out and with things to do during our stay. Definitely recommend a visit .

Wonderful place to stay. Pictures of the interior are very accurate. The apartment was very clean. Excellent WiFi. We were met there in person and shown around and made sure we had everything we needed. Prior to arriving, João was very responsive and helpful setting up some tours and a Fado restaurant reservation ahead of time. The property is near a local very popular party scene so the weekends can be loud at night when trying to sleep but other nights it was fine. There is a parking spot in a nearby garage if you rent a car but if you are not accustomed to inner city parking garages in Europe be prepared for a very tight and steep ingress and egress. Overall a really lovely apartment and exceptional hosts. Would highly recommend this place and would defintely stay here again on a return trip!

We had a great stay! The host was super helpful and responsive. The apartment was clean and comfortable. It is in a great location. Two things worth noting: 1) is that the bedrooms are all right next to each other and to the living room, which worked fine for us, but if travelers are going to bed at different times might be hard; 2) as others noted, it is a lively neighborhood and there can be some street noise at night.

Staying at Joao's place was perfect for our time in Lisbon! The location is amazing -- it's just a couple minutes walk from Cais do Sodre station (making a day trip to Belem a breeze) and super central, located right next to multiple restaurants, stores, and attractions. Our family loved checking out the neighborhood and appreciated that we could walk most places. Because it's a central location, I will advise that the street noise can be significant on weekends -- this wasn't an issue at all during the week (even for the light sleepers in our family), but I would suggest bringing earplugs if you plan on staying over the weekend when nightlife is abuzz on Pink Street! Regardless, I would definitely stay at Joao's place again if we're back in Lisbon -- the perfect location, spotless apartment, communicative and flexible hosts, and apartment amenities made this the ideal spot for our family of 5!

It was a perfect space for an international bunch to come together to work and play. The interiors felt creative and beautiful to do our work in. The space was big enough for us not to fall over each other and having 2 bathrooms was brilliant. Everything we needed was provided, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. Being located near to the water and all the monuments in easy walking distance, was prefect. The team was super helpful and flexible both on arrival and leaving. I was really impressed by how responsive they were and that made our stay go well, considering the amount of people and different situations to harmonise. That said the street below on the bedroom side was pretty wild… with clubs that spilled out into the street. Generally our party was able to sleep but some did require ear plugs to help with some of the noise. With the garage for the car, it is a top floor garage so be aware getting up is slightly tricky (with a big car)but I did manage it with patience!

Perfectly located appartment, within 5 minutes walk from Cais do Sodré (trains to Belém, Estoril & beaches,...), Praça do Comércio, Baixa and Chiado. It's very close to Pink Street, but there is very little noise and it's absolutely not a bother. The appartment is spacious, clean, well-equipped. It has 3 nice bedrooms with comfortable bedding and 2 bathrooms, and plenty of space for us 6 (adults and teenagers). Joao's communication was above perfection. I would recommend the appartment and get back there myself without hesitation !

Joao was a fabulous host. The place was clean and comfortable. It felt more like a hotel than an Air B&B. Kitchen was well stock, lot of extra pillows, and comfortable couch. Tall ceiling and large windows. Few steps to walk up to the apartment from one entrance and have elevator as well. Free parking helped I would stay here again

The kitchen was well equipped and the apartment is well located. Air conditioning worked well. We were four lively senior women and found the apartment perfect for our needs. Everything was just as described. The apartment was close to restaurants, grocery stores, metro. Loved that we were so close to the water. Very walkable . . We did at least 13000 steps a day . . The infamous Pink Street was right outside our window but after the first couple nights the parties didn’t bother us. The apartment windows muffle out most of the noise. Fernando our contact with us was always messaging us to see if we needed anything. The building has two entrances which was great to accommodate our needs. One entrance has an elevator which was great for luggage. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. Comfortable beds, clean linens and towels. We would have liked a dish cloth and there was only one dish towel. There is a dishwasher. I brought my own facecloth because I know from other travels they are not always available. I give this apartment 5 stars all around. You will not be disappointed

João redefined Airbnb for us, making reservations for a dinner and show. Booking day tours. All his recommendations were extremely professional. Tomas was helpful in getting us settled in to the unit, the location was superb. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a nice meal staying in and watching a movie. Great spot for a few days in Lisbon. Good to have a parking spot available although we didn’t drive during our stay after initially parking (needed car for the rest of our Portuguese journey). Ubers were easy to take from apartment. Joao and his team were great. They had Lots of recommendations and tips. The unit was quiet in terms of not hearing people in other units in the building. But there was nightclub noise late night. It’s two blocks from pink street so we anticipated the potential for noise. We brought ear plugs and a noise machine and those helped with the noise.

This was an absolutely perfect location to explore Lisbon! Not to mention, the elevator was a welcomed addition after long days of walking up and down the Lisbon hills! The bedrooms were very comfortable but the real stars were the living room and kitchen. It was the perfect place to kick back and spend time with your travel companions after a long day. The kitchen was well stocked and having a washing machine was a huge plus. I also have to give Fernando a shout out. He was such a gentleman and helped us with our bags at check-in, gave us great local restaurant suggestions, and even booked us an incredible Fado show! He was fantastic! My only complaint is that you are very close to Pink Street and all of the revelry. The bars and clubs can be loud. Bring a good set of ear plugs if you are staying on a Friday or Saturday night. Otherwise, it was a beautiful apartment and I have no notes!

This place is in a fantastic location! Easy 5-minute walk to Cais do Sodra Metro+train station. We stayed with our 3 teenage boys and they enjoyed the sound of the city streets and nearby cafes and bars. The entire city is accessible via metro from here, and lots of fun places nearby to eat & explore. The apartment is clean, with plenty of space for our family of five, and the dishwasher and clothes washer were very useful.

Our family had a wonderful stay at LD Apartments in Lisbon. This was a special trip as it was to celebrate our mother’s milestone birthday and to fulfill a promise to take her to the Fatima Shrine. The apartment was comfortable and as described. All six of us had ample space. We appreciated the warm welcome by Jaoa, Christina and Fernando who greeted us as we arrived. They also had a special surprise of a birthday cake and celebratory beverage drinks. One of our family members had a medical situation requiring assistance. Fernando was very helpful with guiding us and finding the nearest hospital. It was such a relief to have his assistance since we are not familiar with local medical services. Our family member was able to be treated quickly and we have since returned home. Thank you LD Apartments for making our trip to Lisbon memorable. We will definitely

The nice accommodation was as described in the presentation and photos We enjoyed having 2 bathroom for 6. It should still be noted that the little insulation between the rooms and that the street can be noisy and it impacts the nights despite the good windows . Very good communication with Joao who has been very responsive since the beginning of our request and provided us with all the additional information requested and in addition the good addresses. We also appreciated the basics available and the welcome gesture. Dishes are in good quantity for 6, bed linen is nice. Wifi ok. The luggage storage and delivery service directly to the airport allowed us to enjoy our last day.

Joao was unbelievably helpful. He helped to arrange a tour and a night with dinner and Fado! Our time in Lisbon was so much better because of him. The apartment was great and we loved the art. There is a tiny bit of noise from pink street but I was the only one out of 6 of us that heard it. Walking to the market was fantastic! And it was so easy to grab the tram right outside. However, buy your tram ticket before getting to the apartment. If you are coming straight from the airport, I believe you can buy online and then pick up at the airport. If you don’t, you have to go to a major transfer station to get one. Would definitely recommend this place to friends.

Great apartment- just like the photos. Tomas checked us in and came immediately to fix an issue with a slow draining shower. Quality bed linen and towels, too. Aircon in every room, smart tv, and two bathrooms. Nespresso coffee machine and they even left us a bottle of wine on arrival. Only downside was the walls are very thin, as on a lot of apartments here, but that’s not unique to this place. Very communicative and helpful hosts/company.

Great stay in this spacious, comfortable space that had everything we needed. Loved all the little touches with the decor, the flat had been converted into open plan I believe, but bits had been kept and used in the decor, wonderful. Cool mural in the lounge, great tv. Good location for my mum who has trouble walking long distances and struggles with stairs (good to have the lift), right near public transport and in the middle of things. Great communication and local recommendations. Only problem (which only I had) was the noise from the bars in pink street. It was muffled with the windows shut, however not enough to prevent me being bothered by it and not able to sleep. However ear plugs completely solved that problem for me!

This apartment is a great space with ample restaurants/bars and public transportation nearby. Joao and Tomas were extremely responsive and helpful during our stay. Some noise does trickle in at night, but that's to be expected when when staying in such a lively neighborhood. Street parking is only free within limited parameters, but we were able to use a paid garage nearby without issue. Overall, I would definitely recommend this unit, especially if you enjoy being close to nightlife.

Very convenient location in the heart of the fun area of Lisbon. Close to restaurants, Metro, and the water. Tough to have a car as many of the streets are one way so hard to get around. Street parking is available but you must pay every two hours from 9am-7pm. Very easy to get in to building and to apartment using codes. There is Air Conditioning which was nice to have in June. The three bedrooms are next to each other and the two bathrooms are together with the kitchen/living room in the middle. The host was very responsive.

Great location - parking nearby at TimeOut market. Walking distance to Bairro Alto, Chiado and Plaza Comercio. Can see end of Pink Street from bedroom windows but slept well with earplugs. Joao was promptly responsive with communications and local recommendations. We especially enjoyed the private sunset sail with Paolo and Hugo which was reasonably priced. Fernando met us at apartment to help unload bags, show us where to park and explain apartment and appliances which was very helpful. Comfortable clean spacious apartment - good hot showers, comfortable beds with good quality linens. Well stocked kitchen. Enjoyed Argo restaurant on corner of street. Highly recommend and would stay here again

This apartment is in a terrific location. It looks a lot like the photos, and has a nice big space to hang out. It is around the corner from the Time Out market, Pink St. is right around the corner, there are great restaurants, shopping, sites to see. It’s very walkable to everything, because it is down near the water you have to walk uphill everywhere to get anywhere, but that is great if you like to get some exercise in during your sightseeing. We really appreciated having the recommendation to book a private sunset boat cruise, it was well worth it! I would love to come back someday. This was our second stay in two weeks in Lisbon and we loved everything about this space. Thank you!

Right above pink street Safe location Hip hop bar right down stairs as well as everything else. Great bakery/coffee shop few streets away Loved the town the accessibility and the at home feel. Two entrances to the building. All tie breaker decisions were decided over Darts which was awesome lol great vibe. Thanks for having us

Fantastic place, extremely accommodating hosts, right down to having extra diapers and toys ready for us at check-in! There were a couple things we mentioned, and they were quick to drop in and make it right. Would highly recommend. Location was wonderful, quality place, we were very happy here.

Super clean place. Very central. Good information and tips for excursions and restaurants. Ideal with teenagers. Pinkstreet a bit noisy towards the end of the week, but not bad with the windows closed. Glad to come back!

We had a great stay here over the Easter holiday. The apartment is convenient to many of the areas tourists are most interested in and is near a bevy of restaurants and bars. It can be quite noisy at night, but that is easily solved with some earplugs and is typical of any apartment in this area. They keypad locks made it very convenient for our group of five which often pursued separate activities. Recommend for groups and people looking to be in the middle of the action.

Very cute, convenient location in the heart of the old city. Literally on the pink street for entertainment. Easily walkable to food, sights, trolly cars, trains. Hosts offered tons of information.

The apartment listed is exactly as described. New facilities, extremely clean, very well located. Communication with João is swift and effective. The check in was very attentive. There is a detail, which does not take away from the quality of the dwelling. On the back street of the apartment there are some bars that make noise until late. A good measure would be to improve the noise window of the rooms.

Wonderful place to stay, perfect location and walkable to so many great spots. Super clean and comfortable, nicely decorated with a colorful hip vibe. Joao was always prompt with my questions and offered any help we might need. Fernando checked us in and he was extremely pleasant and very sweet. They included a nice bottle of wine and even put out fresh flowers on the table knowing that I am a florist by trade! The noise from below at night being so close to "Pink Street" which we found out is very popular with Lisbon nightlife... was a bit loud on Friday and Saturday night. Maybe bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. Overall a really great place!

Great place to stay and nice location. Clean and colorful like the pictures. Fernando met us at check in and walked us thru the apartment. Beds were comfortable and all rooms had their own temperature control. Water got hot very quickly and great pressure in the showers. We were welcomed with a bottle of red wine. Noise on the weekends was loud from the nearby clubs. Host was very responsive and welcoming. Easy to walk many places. Overall I’d recommend and stay again when visiting Lisbon.

The location of the apartment is perfect. It is close to the sea for a walk and get fresh air; it is close to the shopping streets; it is close to some nice restaurants and cafes and also some museums. They are all within walking distance. We stayed as a family (with my two teenage girls). My girls also enjoyed the location since they didn't have to depend on us or taxis they toured the city by themselves without us :)). The apartment was nice and fully equipped however the furnitures were abit wornout and the toilets were small than expected with regards to the size of the apartment. It was very nice to be wellcomed and helped to move in the apartment when we arrived. Joao is a great host, we met him and had a drink. He gave precious information.

we stayed in João's place for 4 days and we had a great time! it's such a great location close to the metro station, bus stops, restaurants, shops, grocery stores. the apartment itself it super cool! we loved the decor, the amenities provided were very well thought (shampoo, body wash, pods for laundry and dishwasher, bottle of cold water, capsules for the Nespresso machine). the beds were very comfy and we enjoyed having an AC in each room. they even had some toys for my 1yo son! we were greeted by Fernando when we arrived and he was so helpful throughout our stay! we'd highly recommend this place to anyone going to Lisbon. João was an awesome host! I've never had such a great host. thank you João for making our visit to Lisbon such a memorable experience.

In the heart of Lisbon - near the club/bar district. The place is very spacious, more than enough room for our family of 6 adults. The building has 2 entrances, one that has 1.5 flights of stairs, and the other side that has elevator access. Everything is provided - dishes, cutlery, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent and drying rack for your clothes, etc etc. Only thing I would note is to bring earplugs if you're staying on a Friday night. The bar music can seep through a little bit but is fine with earplugs. Minimal noise on Thursday and Saturday night.

This apt is so well positioned you can walk pretty much everywhere. There must be 200 plus restaurants within a 5min walk. The property is beautifully presented with old world charm. But has all the mod cons like AC, coffee machine and double glazed windows so you don’t hear parties. Joao was amazing to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble. We’ll definitely return

The flat is in a fantastic location that lets you explore the city of Lisbon very easily. Close to the Time Out Market, Chiado area and the high end shops, and Commerce Square. João and Christina are fantastic hosts who are great at responding to whatever questions you may have.

We loved the AirBnB! It's in a great location, clean, well-decorated, and well-equipped. Joao was very responsive, the check-in process was very easy, the AC was great, as were the amenities. We also booked some tours (day tour to Sintra & viscinities and 3-hour boat ride) and airport transfers with Joao. These were great as well. I only have good things to say. Highly recommend the place & the experiences.

We had a great time at João’s flat with our family. The place is super well located and cosy. João gave us great tips and booked us a very nice sailboat trip. One side note: the street below is the place to party, hence super noisy so if you are sensitive to noise, bring some earplugs.

We don't even want to get to Brazil, we already miss our Portuguese house! Apt is just like the description. It has hot/cold air conditioning in every room. It has a great fence, both against the cold and the noise. We did everything on foot (night or day) super safe place. There is a subway, train, tram, bakery, market, restaurant (of all price), clubbing, everything is very close; but the noise does not come in! We were greeted by Diana, a darling, we need her help, and she was super helpful and resolved it on the spot. I highly recommend the location. Returning to Lisbon is the first place to look!
