While the host was welcoming and kind enough to provide toys for our baby, the listing is unfortunately mislabeled as "family-friendly." The apartment is situated directly above several bars and restaurants. The soundproofing is inadequate to dampen the noise; we experienced loud music and bass that shook the floor, along with crowd noise persisting until after 2:00 AM on weeknights and after 4:00 AM on weekends. It was impossible for us to sleep, forcing us to check out early. Regrettably, the host declined to refund the unused nights. While the apartment itself is decent and would suit travelers interested in the local nightlife, I cannot recommend it for families or anyone valuing a quiet night's rest.

The apartment is very centrally located and well maintained as well as superbly equipped. Joao has always responded quickly to messages and helped us a lot to quickly solve some problems such as parking in front of the house. What we think is not clear enough from the description is that the apartment is very noisy (we were there from Thursday to Sunday). Live music and noise until 3:00 am and from 7:00 am glass recycling, street cleaning, etc. We are not sensitive, but that was too much for us.

We have rented this apartment for a 3 generations week in Lisabon and had a marvellous time. The apartment is very well located and easy to access, also for (grand)ma, who is less mobile - thanks to the elevator. The beds are good and the living room with the open kitchen is really nice. One of us has asthma but there was no issue thanks to the tiles on the floor and as it is very clean. The host is super helpful with really good and nice tips that made our days in Lisabon extra special. Thank you for making our stay unforgettable. Obrigada

Lovely, spacious genuine 3 bed apartment in a very convenient location for pretty much everything. Pre check in comms were excellent with lots of pro active comms from the owner and manager. Check in was personal - with David there to greet us, explain the entrances and give us some tips on local convenience stores. Issues in the flat before we arrived (a broken drawer) were confirmed before check in as it wasn’t possible to fix. I appreciated the up front acknowledgment of this. Apartment had everything we needed. It is noisy though as mentioned in the description. Youre a few steps from Pink Street and attached to some bars and restaurants so it is to be expected for the convenience - but we were disturbed a few times each night by rowdy revellers. Not an issue for us - by YMMV. Aircon excellent. And it was needed. Bathroom showers need a deep clean around base of doors but other than that it was very clean. Would book again if we were back in Lisbon.

great place located in the center of Lisbon, we could walk everywhere. I went there with our family of 5 and had the best time in Lisbon. Joao, and Christine helped us book tours, recommended us great places to visit, it has been one of my best Airbnb experiences.

This is a great apartment, well located for direct access to loads of sights, and with the amazing Time Out market and the train line to Cascais on the doorstep. We had a great time during a 4 night stay. The apartment is exactly as shown: comfortable, light and really nicely furnished. The rooms are big and the beds are comfortable. It’s perfect. As others have noted, the one thing that the listing slightly downplays is the amount of noise on weekend nights (Thu - Sat). If you’re not familiar with Pink Street, think of your liveliest / busiest city centre bars and night clubs. The music and shouting goes on until 3 and the crowds are still dispersing at gone 6am. If that’s not your thing, just be ready! The hosts provided ear plugs, which was a nice touch. We didn’t need them but it won’t be to everyone’s taste! That aside, the whole experience from booking through to check out was faultless: great advice offered and we were shown round in person upon arrival. Recommended!

The apartment is wonderful, clean and matches the description and photos. The location is very central, close to almost all important parts of Lisbon. The hosts are friendly, helpful and professional. I had a wonderful stay and would recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at Martijn's place for one night on our way way back home from Lisbon. The apartment is very well located, just steps away from Pink Street and close to the Time Out market. The apartment was as advertised and there were no negative surprises. Communication with Martijn was smooth and all details of the check-in and check-out process was clearly communicated. As many reviewers have stated, the apartment is on a lively street very close to Pink Street and gets busy at night. We stayed on a Saturday night, and while there was some noise, we were not unduly disturbed.

This was a wonderful stay!! We came with our 17 month old son and they were so accommodating with a pack n play for sleeping, with sheets (so you don’t need to pack yours like I did), toys, a high chair, and I requested a baby tub and they provided the most perfect one that fit in the slim shower. My son loved it! We were also so close to the Time out market and a wonderful playground with a kiosk for adult drinks. We went many times. ;) Also, we had left our baby’s blanket there and the manager delivered it to our other hotel in Lisbon at the end of the trip. This team is wonderful, responsive, and the place was perfect for what we needed. As everyone mentioned, the double bedroom off the living room does hear a little of the nightlife but the two front bedrooms did not hear anything at all. It is not a dealbreaker, and nothing some ear plugs (which they provide) or some white noise didn’t fix! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. Five stars all around! Book this place!

Really lovely apartment with three spacious bedrooms and large but comfortable living area. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and markets. The streets are loud at the weekend, earplugs are needed for those nights. Over all great apartment that I would recommend.

Great location! Easily walkable to all the sites and restaurants! Very clean and huge space! As described the front bedroom was a bit noisier bc it faces pink street, but this didn’t bother us as we are from a city and are used to some noise (to be clear it was minimal noise). The back two rooms were silent and perfect for the baby. They even had a travel crib, high chair, and toys ready for our 14 month old! Absolutely recommend this listing for any family!

Our stay here was great. Really good location. Walkable to Timeout market. Walkable to the water. And walkable to a ton of restaurants. The other reviews are true about the noise at night. We had our baby, but we all slept OK. The host and his manager are super responsive and super accommodating. Especially when we had different arrival times from our international flights they did the best they could to get us in so we could rest.

We really enjoyed this stay. One of the bedrooms had two double beds which could have been put together but we decided not to for me and my husband. The elevator worked great so my in-laws (70s) did not have to do two flights of stairs from the lower entrance with suitcases and it's only half a flight from the upper entrance. Location is great except for loud music with a heavy beat from about 23:00 to 0:300 on a Sunday; we didn't have that issue on Monday or Tuesday. The Wi-Fi went out but we were able to fix it ourselves eventually. Showers we small but clean with plenty of hot water. Overall we'd stay again. The hosts were great and very responsive.

Great apartment - as described in listing and in photos. The apartment was extremely clean, had plenty of space, very walkable, well appointed kitchen & had AC in every room. Communication was wonderful throughout and check-in process was thorough. One call out is the apartment is located right above Pink Street area, so was a bit noisy during the night. Wonderful stay in Lisbon and recommend this apartment, thank you João & Tomás!!

The apartment was great and the representative Fernando was excellent and allowed us to drop our bags early. He communicated brilliantly. The only downside is that the road outside is an extension of Pink Street, so it is noisy until 2-3am. So take earplugs. The back bedrooms are less noisy and our kids didn’t really hear it.

The apartment is in a fantastic location, walkable to so many excellent restaurants and high end cocktail bars. The interiors are pristine with stylish furnishings and exactly like the photos, the key code lock was awesome as we had multiple people in our group coming and going, plus a lift with suitcases and a child in a pram was handy. It can be a little noisy above the bars and clubs at night so is worth bringing earplugs, however really wasn’t an issue. Martijn, Thomas and Fernando were incredibly helpful and responsive - highly recommend staying g here.

Fantastic location, Martin and Joao were a the pleasure to work with- always attentive, helpful and communicating fantastically. Couldn’t ask for a better stay and hosts. Home is fantastic- clean open and free of clutter. They were so kind to offer us a crib, toys and baby chair. We were so thankful for that. Area is extremely lively- full of clubs, bars and restaurants. Nightlife is great in that area!! Bring a sound machine if you’re a light sleeper!! The location itself was even great with the hop on and hop off bus! Close to super market and central to anywhere you need.

Lisbon is a great city but the noise at night can definetely get too much. The windows in the two bedrooms with the single beds always have to be closed because they face directly below street level and everybody can see inside. The mattresses are not high quality. The master bedroom mattress sinks towards the middle curling the sides. One mattress is really thin. In the apartment each person gets one shower towel and one small face towel. No extra towels unless you ask which I did and they brought me an extra 2 small towels. Would say this Airbnb is great if you're into partying, going out until late, coming back and not minding the noise. Kitchen is well equipped. Tv was not working properly although we didn't mind and didn't ask to get it fixed. Liked the fact that when Joao greeted us he put on shoe covers to keep the apartment clean. That was professional. All in all seemed expensive for what it was, but we definetely had a good stay. Thank you.

Can’t say enough great things about this flat! Beautiful, spotless, really well equipped, fantastic showers, comfy beds! Loved how close we were to everything we wanted to see. These flats are ideal for party people on the weekends since they are situated right over some night clubs. If you’re an early sleeper, might not be the best place but otherwise fantastic!

Our rental lived up to our expectations in the heart of Lisbon. We were very warmly welcomed the morning of our arrival and were able to access our apartment directly, Joao and Tomas showed great flexibility. Tomas was waiting for us on the landing to welcome us and show us around the apartment. He took the opportunity to give us information to make our stay go smoothly. Throughout our stay, Joao and Tomas were very responsive and attentive to the slightest questions. They also allowed us to leave our home later than planned, we really enjoyed this great flexibility. The only negative point, the apartment is very noisy at night because in the heart of the festive neighborhood near Pink Street and the master bedroom overlooks a bar that puts music very loud with bass and it resonates throughout theapartment. Earplugs are 'must have; it's a shame because other than that everything was perfect.

We had a great stay for over a week with a 2 year old. Easy access with elevator, fully stocked kitchen, washer, crib and even some toys - all made the stay with a toddler easy. The location is very convenient and walkable (including the flat parts of the city ;) )

Great apartment perfect for a girls get together with 3 bedrooms and two shower rooms. Simply but nicely furnished and lots of light. Lovely to.gave a bottle of wine and coffee pods provided 😁 It is just over Pink Street so it's noisy. Definitely bring ear plugs. But close to river, Time Out market, metro and ideal to explore Lisbon from.

Martijn's place was in a great location to stay in Lisbon. It was close to the metro and a lot of restaurants. The place was very clean and had all the amenities we could want. On the weekend the area is lively and crowded with people so bring your earplugs! But we loved our stay here. I would highly recommend it!

We spent 4 nights and the place is definitely spacious enough for us. The pictures are accurate and we had everything we needed for our stay. Nice furnitures in the living room for hanging out with the open kitchen. Check in / check out instructions were clear. We arrived early in the morning and were able to get in before our check in time which was greatly appreciated after a redeye flight. Minor issue for me - I am a light sleeper so the beats from the nearby bars on a Saturday night were a bit much for me. None of my other travel companions have the same problem. So bring ear plugs just in case. I would recommend it and I would stay there again.

Fantastic location near all the local nightlife & restaurants, clean & comfortable with very easy access to the apartment. There is some street noise but that is just because the location is in the middle of the city.

Great host, always responsive. Large, clean and tidy apartment, at a great location. The only thing that bothered us (I believe others would be less disturbing) is that the windows of two of the rooms are at a low height and they face the street which doesn't allow privacy if you don't close the curtains. Overall recommend
