My experience was great ! The apartment is large , bright and you have everything you need to be able to spend a stay without inconvenience. While the neighborhood is very noisy , there was no disturbing noise inside the apartment. It is located in a place of easy access and arrival by public transport.

Worst Airbnb Experience The good: spacious, modern apartment well equipped but missing curtains for privacy in living/dining/kitchen and blackout in two bedrooms. The bad: Jaume, the owner, imposed an extra 1000 euro deposit and a rental agreement I refused to sign. The washer did not work for close to 20 days and he refused to refund 45 euros for laundry expenses approved before. He is not honest and very arrogant and never apologizes for anything. The ugly: Although close to las Ramblas, El Raval is the most dangerous neighborhood in Barcelona (look it up). The place is unsafe: “someone trying to get in after us, a lady running and screaming for help at 6.00 PM”. There were drunks, drug dealers, addicts, and homeless people sleeping in front of the balcony EVERY DAY, it was honestly very nasty. I would not stay there again even for free.

Very nice stay! We really enjoyed our time at Jaume’s place, it’s very modern and in a central location close to the Gothic Quarter and the metro. It is in a rather busy touristy area but very close to lots of attractions; would definitely recommend if you want to be close to the action!

The place is located in the heart of the old city with many tourist attractions within a short walk and a metro train just around the corner to get everywhere else. The unit is well-appointed and has everything you need. Jaume went over and above by getting us a work desk that we could use while working remotely for the month. Two of the bedrooms are small, but not smaller than is typical but both bathrooms were a good size and the place had a lot of storage room. Nice balcony overlooking one of the narrow streets. While it can get loud outside, it's quiet inside especially in the bedrooms which are in the back. Fantastic place.

We stayed at Parsifal for a month, with a 7 month old, during the month of July and had a great time! Everything about the apartment was great! The place is very comfortable (thanks to the AC), had all the necessary amenities (cooking, dishwasher, washer/dryer) and was very central. Jaume and Mercedes went above and beyond to meet all our needs and were very communicative, helpful and thorough. We had a fabulous time, there were no security incidents at all, and had everything we needed - including awesome gelato at 1am - close by! We made many great memories in the apartment - I’m certain you will too. Go ahead and book!

There r plus and minus about this place let me start with plus it’s in the heart of city very much on the road of ra Rambla it was super convenient to shop and stay out for long time in nights , what I felt bad about place is kitchen was very badly set with stained utensils and there was no quilt for first 2 days then after requesting they provided in a very sarcastic way asking , how did u think u want blankets in this warm weather ( who r they to question our comfort)but u can choose better place for this price only best part of the house is location that’s all

The apartment is as described. It is located very close to La Rambla. There are bars, restaurants, shopping, cultural attractions, markets and people around every corner. The apartment came with a pack-n-play and high-chair which was very helpful for my family. I had issues with the car service they recommended a couple of times and when I arrived at the apartment no one was there to greet me and let me in. After 17 hours of travel to get there, this was disappointing, but again Jaume made it up by taking me down to the Mercat de la Boqueria, treating me to some great food and drink. The apartment was a bit untidy. A lot of dust and some stains on the living room walls, bedroom headboard, and pillows. We had leaking issues from apartments above both of the bathroom shower-stalls, which also caused a foul odor. When I addressed these issues to Jaume, he put me in contact with the building manager and they were addressed quickly. It is a good apartment located in a great spot, I just think for the value I was expecting a little more and experienced some unforeseen hiccups.

Excellent apartment and location for anyone visiting Barcelona. Just off the busy La Rambla so you don't have to deal with the noise but also 1/2 block to the metro and easy walking distance to a large number of great places to visit including La Boqueria market and the Barcelona Cathedral. Apartment layout is perfect for multiple types of visitors - I stayed here first with co-workers then with family and it suited all our needs exactly. The dishwasher and washer/dryer make a long trip simple to manage. Jaume was a great host and very communicative. Would highly recommend staying here.

The apartment location is fantastic, just off the Ramblas and on a street that leads to Ramblas de Raval. Nice restaurants near by as is the Barcelonetta beach. Apartment is spacious and spotless. Highly recommended!

The apartment was clean and tidy. The location was great, just a few steps from La Rampla and the metro station. The bedrooms were on the courtyard side, and the sounds of the street weren't heard at all. Communicating with Jaumn was easy. She responded quickly and everything went great. I highly recommend this apartment!

Jaume's apartment was exactly what the 3 of us needed. It is clean, quiet, large, perfectly located just a few meters from Las Ramblas and the Metro, and we felt very safe. Ali met us at the door, showed us how everything in the apartment worked, and gave us lots of suggestions for shopping and entertainment. We'd go back.

Very clean and new apartment and very well-equipped. The air conditioning is perfect, central and in all the rooms. Double glazing protects from outdoor noise. The bedding is basic but comfortable. Bathrooms in very good condition and very clean. Numerous closets in the bedrooms and hallways, however the sliding doors of some do not work very well. The apartment is very well located close to Las Ramblas, sights, metro and restaurants. Ali welcomed us on the first day, the apartment is actually managed by an apartment rental company. I will recommend this apartment for its location, the condition of the amenities and the value for money.

Jaume and his assistant were AMAZING! We did not meet the required min night req but Jaume made an exception, even then, we arrived early and he had us come to his office drop our luggage and he took us to a WONDERFUL breakfast at a local restaurant sharing all the local traditions and giving helpful advice for our stay. The experience was unique, exciting and marked a great beginning for our stay. The flat is just as described in the listing...we didn't have any issues AT ALL! The lock on the door was like a bank vault, LOL!!! (fun) The dining table was a little "rustic" but nothing that couldn't be caulked up to a part of the experience. During our walk to the flat, the assistant shared local attractions, places to dine and places worth a visit during our short stay. Unfortunately thievery is everywhere, but this dynamic duo made us aware of do's and don'ts, we (mother and daughter) took copious notes and did not have a single problem. It was just two of us and this flat was waaaay more space than we needed, however, the fact that we had two full baths was great. Each bath was adequately prepped and clean as a whistle. We didn't really use the kitchen (outside of the fridge) but it was just as it appears, spacious, clean and gorgeous. If you are looking for a home away from home, don't think twice about staying here. The pre-trip communication was great, Jaume contacted us after our arrival back home to be sure that we arrived safely and making sure we enjoyed our stay. The directions were on point, easy in and out, by bus and/taxi. We could not have asked for a better host! Don't miss out on this gem!!! Book Quickly!!

If you are looking for quick access to the action , its a good spot with a lot of people of all types & activity on the street below. Only steps from La Rambla-- not for those seeking peace, quiet or quaint. In the pictures, the apt was decorated nicely however the reality was something more utilitarian and dorm like. It was clean and had basic amenities needed.

Originally booked a different place and was easily transitioned to this alternative when it was not available a few days before check in. New place was much larger and they honored the prior price with no extra charge. This apartment is wonderfully located, central to everything and best feature of all is the sound-proof glass. At no point was noise an issue despite being so close to Las Ramblas. Showers were excellent and the apartment itself was very clean. Easy check in and responsive hosts. Easy to get to Aerobus to get to/from airport. Lovely stay!

The apartment was exactly as described in the listing - if not better! Everything was new and clean, and the air conditioner was a welcome respite from the heat on the weekend we were in Barcelona. The apartment itself is amazingly conveniently located - 50 feet from the Liceu metro stop, right off of La Rambla. It could not have been more convenient for the Gothic Quarter, La Rambla, the waterfront, or for Placa de Catalunya. However, it was also incredibly quiet to sleep there. We were there on a weekend when the Euro 2016 was underway, and the city was as crowded as I've ever seen. It's true that in the living room, we could easily hear the street noise. However, in all of the bedrooms, it was perfectly quiet (there's good insulation in this apartment, obviously). I'm pretty sensitive to noise when I try to sleep, and I couldn't hear anything. The host was really helpful. She met us at the appointed time, showed us around, and then gave us plenty of tips for places to eat and see. She was also available by phone and text when we had questions. Overall, this was a great experience and I will definitely try to stay here again when I'm back in Barcelona and will recommend it to my friends.

The apartment was the PERFECT place to meet family and explore Barcelona!! It was so convenient to everything...just off La Rambla, close to the beach, shopping, the market and great restaurants. So comfortable and clean...even better than described. Ali was very helpful when she met us to check in. Everything went smoothly. Terrific place!!!

Ali was BizFlats representative who met us at the apartment. She was informative and helpful. The apartment's location was excellent and easy to walk to most of the major sights. The beds were comfortable and linens clean and serviceable. The bathrooms and kitchen were updated; the showers very nice as well as the large refrigerator. WIFI worked great. Relatively current Barcelona travel books were available in the apartment. The lockable safe was a plus. TV was large and good quality, but we never used it. Only one garbage receptacle was included for the whole apartment. The heated towel racks in the bathrooms did not work. Some light bulbs (3) were burned out or missing and although we identified it immediately, they were not replaced during our stay even though we were informed maintenance had been notified. Most significant was one for the light beside the master bed. The living and dining room furniture was generally tired (older). The bathroom heated towel racks did not work. In the master bedroom the closet doors were warped and you could not open more than one of the three sections partway at a time. There was no complementary shampoo, clothes soap, dishwasher soap, etc. Since our luggage did not show up from the airline for 2.5 days, this was a true inconvenience. Additionally, BizFlats was not responsive to our requests for assistance through emails and a phone calls.

Its was great from the first contact until we left the apartment. We booked the transfer to and it was such a great service. Ali who met us in the apartment was very nice and helped us with all our questions and gave us some tips aswell. Me and my friends were all saticfied with the apartment. It suited us very well.

We had a fantastic stay in Barcelona, the apartment is in a great central location just off La Rambla. El Gotic and El Raval were just a short stroll away with all their atmosphere and restaurants and bars. Ali the greeter was lovely, easy to get hold of, efficient and friendly couldn't ask for more. The apartment was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, with great showers and modern bathrooms. Possibly could do with a coat of paint, particularly in the living area but this is a minor point and in no way affected our enjoyment of our stay. A great stay and a fantastic location. Thanks

Fantastic location! Right in the heart of La Rambla. Check in was perfect. Great flat.. 3 nice bedrooms and 2 great bathrooms.. all very tidy! My only comment would be that the place lacks the warmth of a home (artwork, etc.). Feels like a rental. Having said that.. would probably still rent it again!

Barcelona is a touristy city,very crowded indeed...We got shocked when we got there,it's different from Madrid which I like it better. Good we found privacy in our apartment. It is big,nice and perfect location. With lift,very important for we have luggages & stroller. I would highly recommend this unit to you guys...very nice & accomodating team.

Communication with the host was great! The management company was very responsive and helpful. Ali met us for check-in which was a breeze and she even accommodated our last minute change of arrival time without a problem. The apartment is in a perfect location for enjoying Barcelona, particularly the Gothic Quarter (the best part!), and is right next to a metro line if you want to go visit some of the attractions a little further out. I was a little concerned about it's close proximity to Las Ramblas but the apartment was well insulated from the noise of the crowds. The bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms were very comfortable, nice, modern and clean. The living room furniture wasn't the most comfortable but we were there to explore the city, not sit in the apartment anyways. The wifi was fast and reliable. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the apartment to anyone visiting Barcelona!

Excellent location close to the metro, the old town and the market etc but as it is in a no-traffic street it is very quiet. Our 'greeter' Ali was wonderful - very friendly, and full of highly relevant information. The apartment facilities are fine although the kitchen tools are rather limited. However you are very close to many restaurants. The bedrooms do not have dark curtains so bring an eye mask if light bothers you.

We were delighted to stay in Jaumes lovely flat in las ramblas, Barcelona. It was very well placed, convenient and, surprisingly quiet. Very secure and very clean. Two bathrooms and three bedrooms were perfect for our needs. The washer and dryer were very welcome. We were greeted by Ali promptly and very professionally. It was a charming stay in a beautiful city. I shall recommend this property. Penny

A great welcome from Ali who was close by to greet us and take us through the apartment and neighbourhood. Apartment is just as shown large, clean and tidy with all the amenities and domestic supplies. A very central location 30 metres from the Rambla with metro, buses and taxies close by as well as shops,food, restaurants and one of the best food markets around. Beach is a 20 min walk which might sound far but you are walking the Rambla and harbour around to the beaches area a great way to see the neighbourhood and how the Spanish live. Would thoroughly recommend.

Jaume and Ali were very prompt in communications and met us at the apartment on time and showed us the amenities. The apartment was clean and modern and could not ask for a better location. We had everything we needed. My only criticism is the clothes dryer did not really dry the clothes and some curtains on the bedroom window would be nice. It was a good value for the location.

The accommodation is particularly well located 20 m from Rambla and Liceu. The apartment has 3 bedrooms, but you should know that they overlook day wells and one on the elevator cage.

Great location (Rambla - 20m, Teatre del Liceu - 50m distance; Mercat de la Boqueria - 3min, Plasa Catalunya - 7min walk, etc. ) comfortable apartment for 4-5 people. We were met by an attentive and empathetic girl - Ali, we are grateful to her for her support during our stay in Barcelona.. The apartment corresponds to the description. Unfortunately, the dishwasher declared when booking the apartment was not working. We had 5 wonderful days in the busiest and most interesting area of Barcelona

A really nice apartment, perfectly located, coupled with a very friendly owner... all of this made our family's vacation in Barcelona just perfect! The apartment was ideal for our family of five, with three nice bedrooms that accommodated everyone very comfortably. The location of the apartment is just perfect: less than 1 minute walk to the Metro, 3 minutes to the Boqueria market, and about 10 minutes to Catalonia plaza and Columbus Monument. We couldn't ask for more!

The listing was as described. The location was perfect. It is less than a block from La Ramblas. It was in walking distance to many shops, cafes and markets. The apartment was clean and as described. The Airbnb personnel were very pleasant and helpful on several occasions. The air conditioner did not seem to work well, as we were hot at night. The kitchen was great as were the bathrooms. The bedrooms were fine. I would recommend this apartment for a group of 4 or more in Barcelona.

Perfect location, perfect apartment & perfect host! Located equidistant between La Plaza Cataluñia and the Mediterranean & a block or so from La Boqueria. Subway station steps from the front door. This apartment is comfortable & well appointed with all you need for a comfortable stay. We would say it is perfect for 2 couples or a family of 5. The host- Jaume & Ali who checked us in were great! Responded quickly & made sure our stay was all it should be. Only problem - dishwasher didn't work & was not repaired during our stay. Not sure if washer worked because we could not figure it out. Otherwise perfect!!

Excellent accommodations. Wonderful hosts. Jaume arranged our transport pick up to and from the airport and we were met by Ali who gave us the keys and showed us around the apartment. Ali also also emailed us later with a list of things to do and see in Barcelona. The place is as described in the listing and looks pretty much like the photos. It’s a cute, clean, modern apartment. It is located 12 steps from La Rambla and is a great base for an easy walk to most neighborhoods and attractions in the city. Even though the apartment is so close to one of the busiest avenues in the city it is quiet and peaceful for sleep and reprieve from the bustle of the city. Jaume was a consummate host who made us feel at home, by checking in to ask if we needed anything. I would definitely recommend this apartment. Thank you Jaume.

Great location, fairly large (long :) ) apartment. I was met by Ali at agreed time, she was very helpful with instructions on how to find it. As I'm always cold, heating was making it cozy - Jaume explained how to switch it on (despite being on holiday on another continent - highly appreciated that!). There was a little hiccup with cleanliness of the bathroom, but upon reporting they immediately organised someone to fix it and it was shiny again. Jeaume even offered to be moved to a different apartment but there was no need for that, issue was minor. Would warmly recommend the place and even more so if they would add a Nespresso coffee machine to it :) all in all, great experience, thank you Jeaume! I'll let you know next time I'm in Barcelona!

This flat was perfect! The bedrooms are nicely sized; not small but also not too big. The decor is simple and efficient. The bathrooms are modern and solid. The heating and air conditioning are effective and very familiar to Americans (central with internal ducting). The furniture is a little different than the pictures, but it was quite comfortable. The couch in the living room is a sofa bed, but we didn't use it as a bed. It was still quite comfortable as a couch. The balcony is on a small street just a few meters from Las Ramblas and all the action of Barcelona. The apartment was quiet the entire time, though, and so peaceful. There was only one time I could hear noise from outside, and that was when some teachers were leading about a hundred school children through the street right under our balcony one morning. Even then I could only hear the cacophony from the living room; the bedrooms are in the back part of the apartment, and I could not hear any noise back there. There were only four of us on this trip, so we used the third bedroom as storage and a dressing room for the couple with the smaller bedroom. This worked out nicely for them since they did not have an en suite bathroom. There is a "light well" for the back bedroom as is common in Spain. The window shade is not opaque so there can be a bit of light greeting you in the morning or during a full moon. My wife is a light-sensitive sleeper, though, and she had no trouble with it. The Wi-Fi worked well, and there is also a phone, though we didn't use it. The kitchen is small but efficient and very modern. It included all the appliances and cookware we needed to feed ourselves when eating in. We did discover the coffee maker was broken; but a single email to our host got a quick response and a replacement coffee maker was provided that evening. The flat is in a great location. It is situated just a block away from the Bouqueria, a fantastic outdoor market with every kind of fresh food you can think of. There are quiet little restaurants and shops down every street in every direction. The more touristy Las Ramblas is just outside and the Liceu metro station is just 50 metres from our front door. The whole journey is very accessible since there is a lift in the apartment and also a lift at street level down to the subway. This was a much appreciated feature for our senior citizen companions. Loved the place. Definitely would stay here again. The only thing I would change is that we will stay longer in Barcelona next time, because we did not want to leave so soon.

Jaume was very accommodating and the apartment was convenient and well-appointed. Although the location was on La Rambla, the apartment itself was very quiet and the neighborhood felt safe. The apartment has everything you could need including wifi, washer/dryer, dishwasher, hair dryer and lots of towels. We really enjoyed our stay!

We were nicely greeted at the door by a lovely girl, she showed us around and the apartment was fully equipped, ironing, washing machine, kitchen equipment, towels etc. Living close to Rambla you would expect a lot of noise however it was actually pretty quiet (I have lived in apartments close by which are way more noisier) and the apartment was also very clean. I highly recommend this apartment!

We (x3) were working at MWC for 11 days. Having somewhere central with high speed internet access was a real bonus. The flat is very well equipped, very clean when we arrived and the people who met us were very efficient and informative. As I work in Barcelona 2-3 times per year I will definitely be coming back. I will also be recommending this flat to colleagues and associates.
