Martine’s house is ideally located in the beautiful neighborhood of De Beauvoir. Perfect if you want to be close to the bustle of the city, but in a more local neighborhood. My friends and I had a fabulous time. The house is big, cozy, with access to 2 huge terraces. Lots of steep stairs so definitely not for older people or toddlers, and only one small bathroom on the first floor (bedrooms are on the second floor). Truly a gorgeous house, perfect if you want to wander through the city, but also if you want to have a quiet movie night in. Best of both worlds! I’ll definitely be back!!

I was impressed by the cleanliness and atmosphere of the apartment. It’s located in a calm neighborhood with easy access to the city center and Stansted Airport. The flat was perfectly prepared, and the extra touches, like fans in every room and plenty of kitchen accessories, made daily cooking very convenient. Truly a great stay.

Was exactly as described. Stylish decoration, lovely balcony with views of the City, complete kitchen equipment, good coffee machine. One point to consider: both beds had one large blanket, not two smaller separate ones.

We adored our stay. The place is really, really beautiful, clean, charming and authentic. We felt welcome and are home. We were also very happy with the location - close to numerous public transportation, calm yet full of interesting, lovely places. It made us feel like we were actually part of this great city. It is already expressed in the stars I put, but the place was super clean, easy to use and the host was pro active in their communications. A great, great find.

The place is very nice, located in a great area of London. Lots of nice pubs and shops close by, as well as public transport. The house is comfortable, well-equipped and well presented. The only issue during our stay is that the backyard/BBQ area was not accessible, though the description said it would be, and it was the main reason why we chose this house instead of others in the first place.

We had a great stay at the property – everything was exactly as shown in the photos and described in the listing. The bed mattresses were especially comfortable, and we really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace just off the lounge. The location was excellent, with easy access to the bus and overground network, and plenty of great local pubs, restaurants, coffee shops, and delis nearby. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful, especially in assisting us with off-street parking, which was a real bonus given the local restrictions. Would definitely recommend!

We stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved everything about it! The place was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect—quiet yet close to everything. We felt right at home and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

We were a group of 4, the place was perfect for that. By bus or underground you can get to the center super easily for little money. Our hosts were accommodating and quick to respond. We would check back in here, recommendation!

A very nice house that totally adapts to the photos and very comfortable, it is not missing any accessory both in the kitchen and in the bathroom, it has a very nice garden and terrace, unfortunately it was not a time to enjoy it. Located in a quiet and beautiful neighborhood, very close to the tube station that takes you in a few minutes to central London. The host was very nice and the communication was very quick and perfect. I would definitely go back if I go back to London.

We were 3 adults in the house, 2 decent sized bedrooms and living room. The area was quieter than I expected and has lots of good options for cafes and restaurants. It's not central London but we had chosen it as my son lives locally so was a great base for our group.

The flat was great! Clean, spacious, home-y, and so well located. There was a little confusion with getting into the flat, but Martine provided multiple contact numbers so we got it sorted pretty quickly. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

Great space. Would definitely stay again and check in was so easy. Back yard is beautiful and front porch are amazing amenities for the summer. Beautiful space and love the layout. Area feels safe and peaceful and super quiet.

We had an excellent stay in Clive and Martin's apartment. The two bedrooms upstairs are clean and a good size to accommodate two couples and a baby. There was a small error in preparing the apartment, which was corrected very quickly. Clive responded within minutes to ensure our stay went smoothly. An address to keep for our future stays in London!

We loved our stay in quiet Dalton, close to metro and bus stations towards the center. There are also stores in the neighborhood. The stay was as described, the only downside was the broken toilet seat but we are sure that Martine will replace it for the next guests. See you next time!

The apartment has a great location, close to public transport and the supermarket. The equipment was good, beautiful living room, balconies and cozy beds. Unfortunately, we first got a wrong instruction for the key box, so we were first in an inhabited apartment of another person. Communication with the host was fast overall.

Great place, good location and close to the overground. Easy to find groceries at Tesco and fantastic pubs and Turkish food. Felt safe in the area and Uber found us easily too. The fridge/freezer needs some maintenance (freezer has frozen over), toilet seat seems a lil broken, but both were totally fine, all the same. Nice beds and linens, comfy couch and homey living room area. The coffee in the morning was a great added bonus. Thanks, Martine (and Clive)!

We enjoyed the place. The steps of the stairs in the house were too narrow, so you had to put your foot across. Otherwise, everything was as described. A bit noisy on the street side, as there was a pub right on the corner. Unfortunately, no checkout at 12 noon. I would expect it as a service at that price. Especially since housekeeping was busy when we arrived at 3:30 p.m.

We felt very comfortable immediately! It was great that we were allowed to drop off our luggage earlier. The apartment was very clean. Linen, towels, laundry, spices-all there! Really easy! Only the outdoor facilities could use a little more love, but it may also be because the outdoor season has not yet started. We felt comfortable in the area, great restaurants nearby and a good pub two houses away. We would come back!

Absolutely diamond in the rough! Could not have asked for a nicer place. Lovely backyard and outdoor space (unfortunately we had typical British weather so we couldn’t utilize). The pub downstairs was cozy and welcoming and the surrounding area was so quiet and peaceful. We spent most of our time in and around East London so it was very convenient to walk around, plus easy access to the Overground, and several buses that take you into the city or south of the river. My friends and I loved it and if we ever return to London we’ll be hoping it’s available!

The hosts were nice and let us check in early. They were quite responsive each time we reached out to them. The flat itself was great. There were four of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers), and it was very comfortable during our almost week stay. Things were just as described and pictured. The flat had just about everything we needed. It is not an entirely central location, but it was super easy to get everywhere we were going via public transportation. I would definitely stay here again if ever in London.

The apartment was outstanding, it was very large, modernly furnished and even had a garden and balcony. The check-in went smoothly and the message was answered immediately. The location of the accommodation is very good, nearby are various restaurants, pubs and supermarkets. An overground station is also only a 5-minute walk away. I would stay there again immediately.
