Tucked under a peaceful canopy of trees, this cozy hideaway is a restful sanctuary for up to 7 guest. Perfect for slowing down, recharging, and completely unwind. Enjoy unexpected privacy with a mature treed lot right in your backyard.

INSIDE:
Modern 4 bedroom cottage with a kitchen, comfortable family room with dining area, which leads out to the back sunroom with an inviting lounge and an additional dining area to take in the impressive view of the woods! Kitchen has everything that you need to create your favourite dishes: cookware, utensils and small appliances.

OUTSIDE:
Unwind in the backyard amidst the trees! Enjoy reading your favourite book or take a nap on the "lover's bench." Relax with family or friends on the spacious front deck, which boasts a new propane BBQ. Grill up some steaks and when the sun sets, gather around the fire pit for s'mores.

Lake access is a short walk to Tuyll street. he lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

Linens are available for $20+hst/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.

All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Max occupancy at all times is 7, violation will result in removal without refund.

The pace of life slows down in Bayfield. When you vacation here, it's easy to experience each day to its fullest. Take a 10 minute stroll to village downtown to fine exquisite dining restaurants/bars and cafes, from pub fare to fine dining. Many boutique shops to browse that unique find, or one-of-a-kind art pieces. Or take a bike ride and see the sights of Bayfield, such as the splash pad at Clan Gregor Sq. or Pioneer park for a pickup game of volleyball, or the shores of gorgeous Lake Huron for a beach day and follow up with the best sunsets in Ontario! Bring your kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, boat, hiking shoes and escape to some good adventures and make memories!

Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl's getaway weekend—we're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.

Bayfield is a "Blue Community" - visitors won't find bottled water in public facilities or at events but they will find a portable refillable water bottle station operated by pedal-power and five water bottle refill stations at public facilities located throughout the village.

I'm Jennifer, I started CottageStays to share my own home with like-minded travelers who appreciate escaping to life at a slower pace. I've never forgotten how lucky I am to call Lake Huron home. Now more than ever, everyone is in need of the kind of peace and quiet that escaping to the lake can bring. We keep our cleaning fees low by giving you the option to bring your own linens—or, for $20/person. you can rent ours! This includes sheets, pillowcases, bathroom towels, and more, all freshly laundered and ready for you. (Just remember to bring your own beach towels!)

You are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections & may have camera's outside at the entrance).
