Lounge on the plush couches while enjoying your favorite shows on the large Smart TV, or gather around the dining table for memorable meals. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and is a haven for culinary adventures and the creation of delectable dishes.
Prepare for endless fun and friendly competitions in the games room, complete with ping pong and pool table. And for those looking to stay active, our basement offers an elliptical and exercise bike, so you can keep up with your fitness routine even on vacation.

But that's not all! Our cottage boasts a spacious yard, perfect for outdoor games, picnics, and basking in the sun. Let the kids run free and explore while you enjoy the tranquility of this expansive retreat.
NOTE: Lake access is a short walk to Tuyll street. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.
Max 2 Pets are allowed but must sign separate pet addendum
Parking is limited to 5 vehicles
Linens are available for $20/per person. This includes Tea Towels, Dishcloths, Sheets & Pillowcases, Bathroom towels, Hand towels and Face cloths. Does not include Beach Towels.
All Guests are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections) and camera outside of front door. Any house rules violation is grounds for immediate termination of your stay without refund. Max occupancy at all times is 7 (6 Adults Max) violation will result in removal without refund.

Visit during the off-season to catch favorite annual events like VetteFest or for a girl's getaway weekend—we're happy to suggest our favorite local spas, wineries and breweries, shops, and yoga classes.
With wooded trails, scenic country vistas, and stunning Lake Huron, Bayfield is a beautiful place to explore no matter the season. Bring your hiking boots and plan a trip during leaf-peeping season for a display of color, or come enjoy the quiet of winter and crunch through the snow in evergreen forests.

I'm Jennifer, I started CottageStays to share my own home with like-minded travelers who appreciate escaping to life at a slower pace. I've never forgotten how lucky I am to call Lake Huron home. Now more than ever, everyone is in need of the kind of peace and quiet that escaping to the lake can bring. It's my absolute privilege to be the one to provide families and friends a special place to gather and create memories while exploring an area so near and dear to me.
We keep our cleaning fees low by giving you the option to bring your own linens—or, for $20/person. you can rent ours! This includes sheets, pillowcases, bathroom towels, and more, all freshly laundered and ready for you. (Just remember to bring your own beach towels!)
You are required to sign a separate cottage rental agreement and provide government issued photo id. Including names and ages of all guests who will occupy the property. Primary renter must be over 25 photo id is required. Only those occupants listed on the Rental Agreement, are allowed to occupy the property. A separate security deposit of $500 is required. Parties and large gatherings of any kind are strictly prohibited. This property is equipped with a monitoring device (including noise, temp & wifi connections & may have camera's outside at the entrance). Any house rules violation is grounds for immediate termination of your stay without refund
Max occupancy at all times is 7 (6 Adults Max)

The is my second time staying at Jennifer’s. My husband, myself and my parents came to stay and we all had such a great time. Not to mention my dogs were able to come and stay with us which is always an extra bonus ! The house is beautiful as it looks and is a 5 min walk into town! The location is very relaxing and quiet. Hoping to come back again next year! Thanks for hosting!

The house was beautiful and clean! Had everything we needed. I wish linens were included, but it was communicated before that they were not, so we were aware. The open living room, dining room, kitchen was beautiful and the Master bedroom and bathroom is big! We had a wonderful time here. The local pier was beautiful, and we enjoyed strolling there each day. Definitely recommend!
