Winter Top Tip
Roll out of bed and straight to the Aiguille du Midi lift. Even if you're not skiing the Vallée Blanche, go up on a clear morning — the viewing platforms offer one of the most spectacular panoramas in Europe.
Summer Top Tip
Walk a few minutes to the Plan de l’Aiguille trailhead. From there, hike to Lac Bleu or traverse across to Montenvers for views of the Mer de Glace — an unforgettable route.

We loved our stay in Chamonix, there is a great view of the mountains from every window in the apartment. The kitchen was excellent, really well equipped and we cooked most nights from home. The apartment itself was very clean with extra towels and pillows provided. The location is excellent, only a few minutes walk into town and to the gondola. We also enjoyed the communal balcony that is on the second floor!
