We very much enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect, and we had everything we needed in the apartment. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered. The only minor downside was that only one key was provided. As we were a group of four, having a second key would have been more convenient, as anyone returning to the apartment had to be let in by someone with the key. Other than that, everything was excellent, and we would happily stay here again and recommend it to others

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing due to the cleanliness of the apartment. Upon arrival, we found open food left behind, crumbs on surfaces, dust throughout the accommodation, and a microwave and oven that were visibly dirty and had not been properly cleaned. The overall standard of cleanliness was well well below what is acceptable. The host did provide a 10% refund after we raised these concerns, however, the condition of the apartment made our stay uncomfortable and negatively impacted our experience from the beginning. The only real positive about this apartment is its location - close to plenty of nice restaurants and bars, the old town, and a tram stop right outside. Unfortunately, the apartment itself was quite basic and could use more care. It was generally clean, but the floor was dusty enough that you couldn’t walk barefoot without your socks turning black. Some furniture was broken or dated, like a side table and a fallen picture frame, and both the sofa and bed weren’t very comfortable. The bedding wasn’t great either - only a bedsheet provided, and the extra blankets and duvet in the wardrobe didn’t feel freshly washed and had a musty smell. Communication with the host was quite intense, with long messages, requests for emails and passport uploads, and a complicated key collection process depending on arrival time. It made the start of the trip feel more like work than a holiday. Great location, but sadly I wouldn’t stay here again.

Everything was good, we liked most of the things, despite those: The place where you get the keys from was quite far from the location of the apartment, its was 2-3 stops before the apartment. Plus if you want to leave your baggage’s after check out you need to walk 20 min. It was inconvenient. Moreover, they left us just 3 toilet paper for 4 days for 4us. We needed to buy is ourselves. So it’s better to leave more for more people

Very cozy Airbnb with walking distance to the most central things to see in Nice. The host was super sweet and welcoming; for example, the host helped with easy and quick transport from the airport directly to the Airbnb. Can clearly be recommended!!!😀

Great location and excellent communication from the host! We really enjoyed our stay and found the location perfect for exploring and very close to all the transport you need for trips to Èze or the coastal walk for example. We were so happy with our stay!

Great location, with good transport interchange, close to many trams and buses to different directions of the azure coast. The apartment is quiet, cozy, clean. There are a lot of dishes and all the declared appliances. The hostess is very attentive and responsive. Allowed us to leave our luggage for a couple of hours after check out as our flight was much later. Thank you Lucien for your good communication. Will recommend to my friends! I'll definitely be coming back !

Our stay at Lucienne’s was incredible! The flat was beautiful with lots of light and the balcony was absolutely perfect and a highlight of our stay. They also left us a bottle of wine which was a wonderful way to start off our trip to Nice. They were communicative and allowed us to leave our bags at the agency after checking out until our flight, which let us have a whole day of roaming without having to lug heavy bags with us. Overall, would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Perfect apartment. Perfect Location. Romain was more than great. Unfortunately my husband had a health issue whilst we were there and Romain was extremely helpful, giving lots of info regarding medical centre etc., and going above and beyond on our last day. I don’t know how I would have managed without him, definitely would recommend this apartment and this host. We will be back!

I knew this would be a great stay before we even arrived! The communication with Romain was fantastic - he had lots of recommendations and advice, and was super quick to answer any questions we had. We really appreciated him checking us in personally and showing us where everything was in the well-equipped and clean apartment. As other reviews have said, the apartment is in a lively, bustling area, but is so quiet inside! Having the balcony to be able to sit out with a coffee or a glass of wine, and listen to the birds, was just lovely. Public transport stops were really handy - one tramline stopping right outside, the other round the corner, and bus stops around another corner. We absolutely loved exploring the narrow maze of streets in Old Town whilst walking down to the sea, there were so many bars, restaurants, and cafes within a few minutes walk, that we were spoilt for choice! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Romain's apartment for any length of stay.

Great apartment in the heart of beautiful Nice. Everything you could want right on the doorstep yet because of its position at the rear of the building it offered almost total peace and quiet. Having some outside space was great and we were able to dine on the little balcony most evenings. Very well equipped for short or longer stays. Romain is a great host who is very responsive and helpful. Highly recommended, we will return.

I have just returned from a wonderful 7 nights stay at Romains place with my mother and daughter. The apartment offered a zen living space in an amazing location just around the corner from Garibaldi Square. We enjoyed our Morning coffee and freshly baked patisserie on the cute little balcony every mornig before heading out to explore the wonderful city. The tram stop was just outside that enabled you to access near and far with great ease. We all slept very well in the comfortable bed and sofa bed with no disturbance from neighbours or the street below. Romain was a superhost very appraochable and responsive to all questions before and during the trip with clear instructions provided for checking in and out. We wouid highly recommend this place and would definitely book again should we visit Nice again.

A very nice place. It was very quiet and peaceful. We slept wonderfully. The sofa bed was very comfortable. The apartment had everything you needed. The tram stop is in front of the entrance. The neighbourhood is quiet. The Old Town is within walking distance, and we went out every evening.

This was our favorite and the most convenient apartment as compared to other places we have stayed during 7 previous trips to Nice. It was perfect for us and we hope to book again for a return trip next year. Special thanks to our excellent host, Romain. Not only was he helpful and easy to communicate with concerning our reservation but he also assisted in helping resolve a major crisis we had on arrival. I accidentally left my backpack on the tram from the airport. I had no idea what to do in attempting to retrieve the lost item, whom to contact or how to communicate with them with my limited French. Romain, was able to contact the proper authorities and quickly recover the backpack with all my belongings. We are very grateful to Romain for this assistance!!!

The place was perfect for our group vacation. Despite it being on a busy street, it was super peaceful and quiet, since it’s facing the inner court. Romain was very accommodating with me, even though I was a bit late, so huge thanks for that. The location is perfect, you can walk everywhere and the flat has everything you need, including a lint roller for clothes, which is always so useful for my 4 cats owner wardrobe. Our stay at this apartment near Place Garibaldi was great. We liked the sunny balcony and the view into the large, authentic backyard. The apartment was very clean. It has good basic amenities in the kitchen (spices, vinegar, oil, flour...) and bathroom (toilet paper, soap,...). Romain, the host, was very responsive to our messages and was helpful when we had an issue. In the vicinity of the apartment there is everything you need, such as several supermarkets, bakers or many restaurants and cafes. In particular, the Place Garibaldi was very inviting. Tram lines 1 and 2 stop in the immediate vicinity, as well as numerous buses (e.g. to Cap Ferrat), so we could easily travel all paths by public transport or on foot. We would stay there again without hesitation.

Great location with a good selection of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Easy access to tram stations and just a short walk to the port, the old town and the beach. Apartment overlooks rear courtyard so is extremely quiet. Well equipped and comfortable. Romain was proactive in communicating with us and very responsive to any questions. We had an enjoyable weeks stay and would highly recommend.

Romain is a very available and pleasant host who really cares about the comfort and well-being of his guests. He is always available and full of good advice without ever imposing himself. The accommodation is well equipped and clean. The only downside is the elevator. It's unreliable. Being located on the third floor it was a lot of steps to climb when we came back with groceries or suitcases. After being taken for more than an hour in the elevator, we did not use it at all as it was often out of service. It was very unpleasant and exhausting to have to climb the stairs at each exit. We have just spent 3 weeks at Romain's during the holiday season. We really recommend this listing as it is extremely well located. You can visit Nice on foot, the charming old Nice and Cours Saleya are just a short walk away! When you arrive by train, tram 1 that leaves from Thiers train station takes you 10' to the foot of the building... Despite this central location, the apartment is very very quiet because it overlooks a courtyard; so peaceful nights guaranteed!! And above all, we thank Romain for his kindness and professionalism because he does his best to respond positively and quickly to any request! Not having finished our exploration of Nice and its surroundings, for sure we will come back!!!!

I had a wonderful stay of three weeks. I've visited Nice three times before and this apartment was the best I've had. The location was fantastic - very close to two tram lines and the Old Town. Despite the central location, there was little noise at night because the apartment looked out over a courtyard rather than the street. I'd try to stay here again if I came back to Nice.

we have stayed in a lot of different apartments in Nice and this was by far the best. Superb detailed instructions and pictures showing how to get to the location and key collection. Well equipped excellent sized apartment in a great location near fantastic restaurants and close to the tram station providing an easy link to the airport and there is a supermarket a few meters away. The apartment was spotless and had everything you needed the lift is beside your door. It is very quiet good TV with digital channels etc. The host Romain is genuinely so helpful and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. When I come back to Nice it will be when this apartment is available because I think I would be disappointed if I went anywhere else.

Beautiful, clean and comfortable apartment. We were 4 guests and had no problem regarding space. Everything was tidiet and the apartment had everything you could need for a stay. The location was perfect as well as we had trams and busses outside of the building, as well as walking distance to the beach, old town, the city centre and good restaurants. Romain was a very good and accomodating host. He was informative, gave good local recommendations, and proactive in his responses. We had an ongoing dialogie during the stay and he always made it clear that he was available if we had any concerns or questions. I would give the apartment and the host 5 out of 5 stars.

Very nice apartment, tastefully renovated, in the heart of Nice and yet very quiet. Romain is available and responsive to any questions, which is very reassuring. The apartment has a small balcony, very nice for a morning coffee. Close to Old Nice, beaches, the port and Place Masséna, the proximity to the tram ( which serves airport and train station) is an undeniable asset! I highly recommend!

Best apartment we’ve stayed in, in Nice, so far. Great location, a stones throw from Garibaldi tram stop. 2 minute walk from Rue Bonaparte (street) which has some nice bars and places to eat in a trendy area day and night. The apartment is on the back of the building so very quiet and peaceful to sit out on the balcony and enjoy breakfast in the sun. It is vary spacious, has been decorated to a high standard, especially the bathroom and kitchen. All the appliances you would need and more. It felt very homely and cosy for a week in Nice. Romain was a great host. Very quick to respond and provided great information for us. We would definitely recommend!!

The biggest advantage of this apartment is the location. To the old town, to the port to the beach, you walk no more than a quarter of an hour. Also close to the tram stop. Although the apartment is in the center, it is quiet. The windows and balcony face the inside of the building. The apartment is clean, equipped with everything you need for living. Communication with Romain very fast and precise. I recommend.

I'm used to apartment rentals in Nice because I come several times a year... and that's a nice surprise! Very professional team, apartment with many amenities and touches (umbrella, strollers, many towels...). What can't be seen on the listing is that the balcony overlooks an indoor courtyard and a huge fig tree… result: quiet nights (very rare in Nice city center) and birdsong when I wake up:) in short, I'll book again;)

Apartment is well located in a great area, close to two metro lines. The apartment overlooks a quiet courtyard rather than a street, so it's nice and quiet. The balcony gets the sun throughout the afternoon/evening so it was a pleasant place to sit. Overall this was a great apartment for our week in Nice.

We stayed in the apartment for a few weeks, it is very functional and comfortable to stay in. Romain is a high quality host who was able to implement the necessary means to our different requests during the stay. He's both friendly and professional, interactions with him are especially easy. I would definitely book again one of the properties he offers for rentals.
