We had a truly very enjoyable stay at this property in Villefranche-sur-Mer. The location is simply perfect: central, convenient for getting around on foot and for fully enjoying the town's charm. The flat was recently renovated, which made our stay comfortable. We also really appreciated the host’s helpfulness; they were always responsive and friendly in their communications. The only aspect we would point out as a possible improvement concerns access to the flat: you enter directly via a rather steep internal staircase, with no door, gate or safety feature. Travelling with a one-year-old baby who crawls, we had to improvise a barrier using the clothes rack for added safety. Apart from this detail, the experience was absolutely positive, and we would recommend this accommodation.

My family and I stayed here for a week as a base to explore the French Riviera. It looked just like the photos and had a lovely sea view. As there weren't bookings before and after us, we were allowed to check in early and check out late, which was incredibly helpful as it suited our flight timings.

Place was amazing. Each morning to wake to a rising Sun over the water made our day. There were 4 of us with plenty of room to spare. Place was clean and well kept. The stairs around the area kept us in shape but a small price to pay for the wonderful place. Would highly recommend this place to all.

This little apartment has a fantastic location and is very pleasant. Two tiny drawbacks: (1) the aircon is only in the bedrooms and (2) the beds are rather uncomfortable. Other than that it was an excellent stay.

A very beautiful and spacious apartment in a lovely location. We are a family of 4 (kids aged 4 & 6 years) and we found this accommodation ideal for our needs. There were 2 air conditioned double bedrooms and a very spacious living room/kitchen/dining area. Fully equipped with everything you need. There was a small supermarket about a 2 minute walk away which had most things we needed for a 5 night trip. The waterfront is easily accessible in about 3 mins down the steps where you will find lots of lovely bars and restaurants. It’s about a 10 minute leisurely stroll to the main beach (bearing in mind we were doing this with a slow 4 year old lol). There are parasols and beach mats provided in the apartment which were super useful (we took our own beach towels). Other reviews mention the stairs to the apartment being quite tricky - they are quite steep and there is no door/gate at the top which means children could potentially access them, however we didn’t find this to be a problem.

A lovely clean apartment in the pretty old part of Villefranche. Very responsive host, effective air con in both bedrooms, the lounge/kitchen very spacious for four, with a nice breeze from the double windows and a good fan. Well equipped kitchen, has hairdryer (with diffuser), washing machine, drying racks, coffee machine, large fridge freezer, beach mats and a couple of parasols to borrow. Good storage. A very short walk to the beach and restaurants, and about 5 mins or so to very efficient railway service taking you along the coast (10 mins to Nice Ville train station). Bus service nearby too, small supermarket. For anyone with mobility issues Villefranche does have a lot of steps if venturing into the old town. The apartment has steps up from the door (they are open at the top, so if staying with toddlers you'd need to put something across the top step I think). We had a lovely stay and I'd happily return to this area and apartment.

We loved our stay at Romains apartment in beautiful Villefranche sur mer. We didn’t want to leave. For guests that want to book this beautiful space please know that the steps into the apartment are steep especially with heavy bags. And to ask Romain to give you instructions for drop off by your taxi etc. As one way the steps go UP to the apartment and another way they go down to the apartment and that’s the way you go when you check in. The showers and wifi were great. Kitchen is fully equipped and convenient . We could have easily stayed longer because we were so comfortable.

Romain was an excellent host. Only concerns were that - 1. The TV interaction with the WiFi needs attention and is not reliable. I am reasonably up to date with IT issues but guests should not have to worry with such things. 2. Extras such as beach towels and umbrellas should be standard supply for guests travelling and not wanting to carry or purchase but were not provided.

Clean apartment, very well placed (5-6 minutes to Railway Station, 7 minutes to the public beach, seconds away from good restaurants- La Belle Etoile and especially Les Garcons). The apartment has best bathrooms and best shower cabins, perfectly sealed (no water on the ground when having a shower, like other places I stayed in the last years). Kitchen well equipped, good design. Romain is the best guest- never intrusive, yet very responsive if necessary and very polite, as usual. A great stay in Villefranche at Lara’s. Thank you. Hope to come back soon.

Romain was the perfect host. We loved the flat and were especially pleased with the local restaurant s. La Belle E'toile was just steps from the door and was a delight. i would highly recommend this central location. It was perfectly situated on a side street. we would book again witout a doubt !

Well appointed, clean, spacious and quiet place in the heart of Villefranche, with everything you need for a pleasant and long stay. We particularly appreciated the well designed open plan kitchen (plenty of dishes, lots of pots and pans, everything you need to make nice dinner party for your family). The sitting and dining area received the morning sun and offered a beautiful view of the beach. Each bedroom had an air conditioning unit (a must in the heatwave! But why is it so hard to find CENTRAL AC in Europe?) and comfortable bedding. Beach towels & umbrellas were available. Having a washing machine and drying rack were a plus. Dishwashing soap, laundry detergent, some toilet paper and minimal amounts of shampoo were provided (but no hand or body soap). This flat may not be suitable for a family with toddlers because of unprotected access to a very steep staircase (no gate or door that you can close). Best resto in town (for couples), la Belle Étoile, is right at the corner.

We had a wonderful week at Romain's apartment. Perfect for our family of 4 with big kids. The apartment was recently renovated and actually nicer than the pictures! Perfect location in the city, with short distance to everything. Good AC in both bedrooms. Clean and tidy. Romain was very helpful both before and during the whole stay. Highly recommend!

We just came back from a a week stay at Romain’s apartment in Villefranche-sur-Met. We visited most of the towns from Nice to Monaco and cannot express enough how Villefranche was the best location to see the Cote D’Azur. The town is charming, quaint, with a beautiful little sandy beach 5 minute walk from the apartment. Romain was the perfect host, when we had some issues figuring out how to lock the door he responded immediately- even if it was late at night and came by first thing in the morning to make sure we were ok. The apartment is brand new and tastefully decorated. Spacious living room and kitchen area with a pretty view overlooking the bay. We had everything we needed. The only thing we felt was missing was a balcony we knew that when we rented. Romain’s restaurant recommendations were spot on. Our favorite- first and last meal- was Garçons. The food, service and drinks were outstanding. Look forward to coming back!

Stayed at Romain’s place in late May with 2 adults and 2 young kids and it was brilliant. The flat itself was modern, had all the amenities and very clean. There was air con in both bedrooms, it was super quiet (despite being near local restaurants), really easy from the station, and even had buckets/spades/parasols/snorkel for the beach! The location was fantastic, only a few minutes to the most glorious beach and near lots of local food stops (recommend Cave Nature). We spent most days on the beach and loved it. It was also 7 mins on the train to Nice and 15 to Monaco. Romain was really communicative and helpful with local recommendations. Definitely recommend.

The apartment was perfect for our family, it is right in the middle of the old town with a beautiful view. Plenty of space for our family and close to everything. If you are coming from the train station and have lots of luggage it may be worth checking if the main path from the station is still closed - we had to carry our suitcases up and down a lot of steps to get to the apartment! It was worth it though.

Wonderful location in the heart of Villefranche old town. Great Restaurants and bars were close by. The apartment was clean and comfortable felt homely. As noted in the description there is stairs but we were prepared not just the apartment but the old town and train station. Romain gave clear instructions and was easy to communicate with. Overall we would definitely stay again.

Villefranche was lovely and this was the perfect base to explore Nice, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes from as was all easily accessible from the train station. The apartment was perfect for what we needed for our girls week away!

This apartment was amazing and the location was very good, beautiful places right from the doorstep. Trainstation, sea and nice restaurants near. You can easily get to other places like Menton, Nice, Eze for example by bus or a train. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking your own food if you feel like it. It was good to have two sepered bathrooms. Romain was very helpfull and answered quickly. We want to thank you and hope to come here again!

Our stay at Lara Seaview was wonderful. Location perfectly situated in old town of Ville-Franche sur Mer, close to shops, restaurants and railway station a 10 min walk. Easy access with train and bus along the Côte d'Azur to all towns, coastal and up in the hills. Beds very comfy, everything very clean. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and washing machine. Romain, our host was excellent. Communication outstanding. He returned our messages very quickly and was always available to help - even when we successfully managed to lock ourselves out of the apartment within an hour of arrival! Would highly recommend this apartment. Tips:(1) Buses -Lignes d'Azur bus company links small coastal towns not serviced by trains. You can not buy a bus pass in Ville-Franche sur Mer! On first bus, ask for 'emergency bus pass' for one ride. Then look for Tabac shop at destination and top up with 10 or 20 rides. (2) Get small denominations in cash from ATM. Noone wants to give you change on 50€!

Romain’s place is the perfect place to stay in the south of France. The town of Villefranche-sur-mer is located close to a train station allowing quick access to more busy areas such as Nice, Monaco, Eze and Antibes. The apartment is spacious, clean, well equipped and located in the heart of old town - a pedestrian only area with shops, restaurants and close to the beach. There was plenty of room for a family of four. Romain was responsive to our needs and we would not hesitate to go back!

Perfect place to stay for a family with 2 kids. Well equipped kitchen, lots of space for clothes, 2 shower cabins, one small toilet beside the 2 in the rooms. Located perfectly- you get within minutes to restaurants, shops and the beach. Romain is a good host (second vacation at one of the properties he adminstrates). Good communication, perfect self check in and self check out procedure, no need to meet. Thank you Romain, we will get back!

A beautiful apartment, bright and airy, very very clean and well equipped. We had a really comfortable stay here and loved being less than 1 minute from great restaurants (Les Garçons and Belle Etoile), plus 2 mins from the harbour. This was a beautiful and comfortable home base for our family's 8-night stay! We had plenty of room for our family of four, and my teens loved their room. The A/C was so welcome after hot, humid days exploring. The walk to the beach is easy and scenic, and there are wonderful restaurants within a 1-2 minute walk of the front door. (Our favorite was La Cave Nature.) The corner store and gelato are also steps away, which made for easy snacking/happy teens. The kitchen was well-stocked for simple cooking and we loved looking out the window with our morning coffee. Great communication with the host. I would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment with high-end amenities, spacious and well laid out, there's absolutely nothing missing! Well located for everything on foot and public transport. 5-10 minutes' walk to the station and shuttle buses along the French Riviera. Romain is very responsive, efficient and courteous. The old town is pedestrian with lots of stairs. Since you can't park at the bottom of the apartment, it is necessary to provide luggage that is easy to carry. For guests who come by car, know that there are rare free spots on the bottom of Avenue Charles de Gaulle, otherwise there are several paid parking lots nearby. Very good place, recommended!

This is an amazing remodeled and well-located apartment. We stayed there for a week as a family of 4 and loved "living" in Villefranche. The accomodations were great and there is even a washer in the apartment. There are two AC units in each bedroom, but windows to open to catch the ocean views. There are very steep stairs everywhere in Villefranche, including the stairs up to the apartment, but that is why you get such wonderful views. The kitchen was fully stocked, with a dishwasher as well. The fridge is small compared to US standatds, but we didn't put that much stuff in it anyway...since we ate out mostly. We just needed enough to make a small breakfast in the morning. The apartment is close to cute bars and restaurants and the small grocery store in the village. The primary bedroom has a full bed and there are two twins in the 2nd bedroom, which was perfect for our family. I am probably too big to share a full bed, but we made it work. We could see that other apartments in Villefranche were no where near as nice as this one. Communication was great with Romain and check-in/check-out was easy. It is a easy 7 minute walk to the train station which provides easy access on the TER to all the coastal towns.
