My husband and I stayed at this gorgeous Airbnb in Villefranche-sur-mer for the first leg of our 2-week honeymoon, and we couldn't have had a better time. This apartment was the perfect place for us to regroup and recharge after the beach and walking around town. We highly recommend this apartment as well as this city for a relaxing and memorable vacation.

This is my first negative Airbnb review, but I think future guests should be aware of our experience. The apartment is pretty and has a nice view, but the stay was disappointing. The AC didn’t work for the first day because the remote batteries were dead. We ended up taking the batteries from the TV remote just to get it running. Once it did, the unit made an incredibly loud, repetitive noise all night, making it impossible to sleep. We ended up leaving a day early because of it. Communication with the host was also poor. When we accidentally locked ourselves out, I called twice and left two voicemails but never received a response. Thankfully, a neighbor let us back in. The check-in process also needs improvement. A lockbox at the apartment would eliminate the need to pick up keys from a restaurant at the bottom of the hill before hauling your luggage back up. Too many issues to justify the price. The washing machine is also moldy. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here.

Beautiful views, access to the terrace, and a neat and clean interior. I was very satisfied. However, it was a bit inconvenient to go and collect the key to the accommodation, and the lock on the door was very old-fashioned, which made me feel uneasy.

The accommodation is impeccable, clean and in line with the description, we really enjoyed our stay. On the other hand, communication with the host could be improved, as she was not very responsive to our messages. In addition, the 10 a.m. check-out time seemed a little too early, especially with the rather strict exit instructions to follow. This leaves little room for manoeuvre if you don't wake up at 7 a.m. but rather at 8 a.m. and take your time.

It wasn't Lucienne who received us, but another person who gave us the keys. Positive sides: - The view is very beautiful. - The apartment is clean and peaceful. The negative side: - Arrival to get the keys is very complicated. The explanations are not clear and we lost at least 1.5 hours. In fact, you have to pick up the keys at a real estate agency, but this is not specified (we are just given a door number that does not match). - The air conditioning makes a lot of noise. So we had a hard time sleeping all four nights. - The sofa bed is not practical at all and it is very uncomfortable. So in the end we are quite disappointed anyway.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was perfekt for a family with 2 children and it was easy access to everything. The host was very welcoming, helpful and gave clear and useful information and instructions. we would love to come back again!

We had a very good holiday there. Beautifully furnished, comfortable apartment for 4 people. Beautiful sea view. Programs, bus stop, restaurants nearby. We will gladly return.

A lovely apartment for a family stay; we spent two weeks there with two small kids. A double playground very close by, two beaches are with 10-15min walk, bus stop to Nice down the street, along with a few markets and a bakery. Farmers market on Wed and Sat am in front of the playgrounds. WiFi is very fast, absolutely fine for work video calls. The view of the sea is lovely. Kitchen is well stocked for basic meal prep, and the small fridge works well. The few issues that came up were instantly addressed. Would absolutely rent from this company again. One thing to not is that the air conditioners that work well make some noises, so sensitive sleepers should bring earplugs.
