We loved the space and view! Our host was very responsive and easy to communicate with! The beach is only a 2-minute walk from the place. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great little cafe right across the road!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Novo Luxury Apartment in Penguin! The location is unbeatable—right in the heart of town with some of the best views in Tasmania, whether it’s a bright sunny day or a moody, stormy afternoon. The apartment itself is beautifully curated, luxurious, and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We’re already looking forward to coming back! Despite a few hiccups with the property managers when booking through another platform, our experience was much smoother when we re-booked through Airbnb. Special thanks to Jenny, who was especially helpful and made everything easy. A quick note for future guests: the apartment is accessed via stairs, and the charming old floorboards can creak a bit. This might be something to consider for elderly guests, those with accessibility needs, or families with very young children (who may be easily woken by the creaks in the floorboards!). Otherwise, it’s an A+++ experience all around. Highly recommended!

5/5 for property. - great location and clean/comfortable. - was perfect spot for directors annual general business meeting. 0/5 for management processes. - unreasonable policy for check in. Included being hassled on check in day (4 x phone calls from management with broken english) demanding photographs and photo ID’s of guests prior to release of keys. - multiple texts during stay regarding rubbish removal and general cleanliness threatening extra charges.

Absolutely stunning! The photos really don't do this place justice. The attention to detail is exceptional, just like the views. Sometimes, large accommodation (high ceilings and open plan), can lack the 'cosy' feel some people might like, but these guys have absolutely hit the right balance. We felt relaxed the moment we stepped inside, and that carried through the whole stay. We will definitely be back

Absolutely stunning views and only a short walk to the beach. Located in between shops and cafes but with a private entrance and off street parking. Accommodation was very well furnished and supplied, wish we could have stayed longer!

This was our second stay at this beautiful home! Everything is meticulously thought out and very clean. There is ample of everything. The view is simply sublime! The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful with all their messages and well prepared responses. We had no need to ask a single question everything was there for us. Thank you, we only wish our stay was longer!

Strongly recommend to stay here if you travel around Launceston or Stanly. This small town is beautiful and gets everything you need, while this beautiful home is right in the middle of the town, walking distance to everything with great ocean view. You will love it.

The sea view from the apartment is amazing and beyond words! The apartment is exactly as the pictures depict, huge, clean, lots of space and really comfortable beds. The bath tub was deep and perfect for soaking, and the toilet floor was heated too! The only thing to watch out for is there are 2 flight of stairs, for those with super heavy luggage, or have knees trouble, you could leave your luggage on the first floor where the private laundry room is, it’s large enough to house your shopping and luggage 🙂 I certainly hope to be able to stay in the apartment should I visit Penguin again.

We had a fantastic stay in Penguin at this beautiful abode! The beautiful beach views were breathtaking, and the great pantry cafe across the road was a delightful bonus. We have come home feeling so relaxed after such a peaceful stay. All amenities were excellent, making our experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! ---

The whole house is super large, and there is no distance by the sea, fully equipped with kitchen utensils.Bathroom is very big.There are many sea restaurants downstairs.Supermarket If having to go after 8pm is bought in the next city which is a 15 minute drive away.Slight noise of wood floor walking at night, but not much impact.The TV also has a Nephi account number.Great experience!

Generally it was a great stay. Beautiful views with great position in the town. The train line with the early morning train was a surprise but not devastating. Also some of the requests were slightly unreasonable and not communicated prior to making the booking. Overall a lovely stay.

The views are amazing from the living and dining area. Quaint town and close to town centre. Off street parking. Interesting shop Cocoon underneath and Penguin pantry across the road. The beach whilst across the road is not immediately accessible without crossing a rail line and using a board walk but can be viewed from balcony. Main living and dining area air conditioned but not bedrooms and the bedrooms were quite hot to sleep in. Bathrooms well equipped and modern and clean. Kitchen well equipped appliances, basic pantry needs in place. Lots of communications from Hosts regarding checkin, checkout times, garbage disposal and cleaning expectations of apartment before, during and end of stay. Beds comfortable and clean linen etc. Local groups of residents gathering outside front and back of apartment on street and boardwalk late into the evening and early morning was very noisy.

Beautiful accommodation with stunning panorama views over the ocean! Spacious top floor apartment with a large kitchen, large couch and dining table as well as sitting room with wide sliding doors that open up to the verandah and ocean view! We had the most lovely time during our stay, enjoyed swimming, walks on the beach, local cafe and dining area and simply relaxing in the stunning setting! The apartment furthermore had large bathrooms as well as comfortable beds! We were lucky to spot a seal 🦭 in the early hours one morning right in front of the apartment! We will be back again!

We had a wonderful stay at L'Abode in Penguin. The apartment is spacious and beautiful and the view is absolutely stunning. We spent most of our time enjoying looking out at the water. Equally the rooms and beds were comfortable and the double shower was great. Will certainly aim to come back!

This is the best AirBnB I’ve stayed in. Can I move here?! The ocean views are glorious and it’s spotlessly clean. The property has been beautifully renovated with some nice reflections of the old bakery that it once was. Underfloor heating in the bathrooms was a treat in the cold weather! We did have an issue with the lockbox shutting us out (which was very quickly remedied by the host) and it’s worth being aware that bedrooms #2 and 3 do get some road noise.

This apartment is the most generous accommodation I have ever stayed in for space, design, and ability to share very comfortably with friends. The location on the beach and northern ocean aspect invites cups of tea in the morning and a sparkling in the evening. Each time we are lucky enough to get a booking, the thing I enjoy most is simply enjoying every moment in the apartment and wandering through Penguin and onto the beach. My plan next time is to make full use of the kitchen and dining areas, to cook something nice, and enjoy the night in.
