Our family loved our Staycay at Courallie. Everything locally, Eastern Suburbs and in the city was easily accessible using options of car, public transport and walking. Even though we filled out days with activities it felt nice and relaxed because of location, location, location! There are no problems finding free, all day, safe street parking The apartment had plenty of room for our family of four when chilling at home, very comfortable, with all the mod cons including three TVs with streaming access. It is a gorgeous art deco apartment with great views to the harbour and Bondi Junction, very quiet and peaceful. I did have initial concerns staying there with my two kids because of all the beautiful photos of art pieces, mirrors, bathroom etc but it is a gorgeous apartment that has a feeling of lived in so we could breathe and relax. L'Abode are excellent hosts, very responsive, providing clear information at all times. Thanks for an awesome stay 😁

We had an excellent stay. The apartment has many attractive features with a lovely distant harbour view. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom just right for our needs. The communication with L'Abode Accommodation was supportive and attentive. We appreciate the help they gave us. With so much of Sydney easily within reach from the apartment, we loved our stay and will certainly be back!

Fantastic apartment! A real home from home. Very spacious & modern with lovely decor & furnishings. The area is beautiful & very safe & lovely to walk around to see all the lovely houses around the area. The view from the dining room window of the harbour is beautiful & the windows fully slide open all the way across. I will miss my morning coffee views. We will definitely be returning to Sydney next year….& we will be staying here again for sure. It’s a top place in a very desirable area close to bus & trains links to get around. Absolutely loved my stay at Courallie 😍 The apartment was divine and felt so warm and welcoming. Spotlessly clean and all the amenities that you would need. Great location walking distance to Bondi Junction. I will definitely book this place again.

My 2 daughters and I had a wonderful stay, it was exactly as described. Beds were very comfortable and the neighborhood proximity to Edgecliff train station, and Bondi Junction was wonderful. I had no trouble finding free street parking day or night, I rate this apartment as one of our best airbnb stays. I would absolutely return again!

Beautiful home with nice decor, comfortable beds and a very clean bathroom. Location is quaint and peaceful. It's about a 15 minute walk to the nearest train/bus stations. Hosts were responsive and proactive.

We wanted to be close to my brother’s home in Woollahra, whilst he recovers from an illness. Courallie was a 10 minute walk to his home and worked extremely well for me and my elderly Mum. (Mum, nearly 80 years young, managed the 20+ stairs up to flat 3, even after a long day sightseeing!). 10-15 walk to Edgecliff bus and train stations, Coles and Aldi supermarkets and Edgecliff butchers in the shopping centre. Centennial Park a 10-15 minute walk (I download the Airo or Lime app and hired an electric bike to whizz around the park one sunny afternoon, plenty of bikes in the area). We wandered up to Bondi Junction, Westfield shopping centre, food hall and cinema outings. Paddington market on Saturday and Bondi market on Sunday all a walk and/or bus ride away. Murray Rose Redleaf harbour pool a 30 minute walk or quick bus ride, nice cafe for coffee+view. Courallie was clean, beautifully decorated, and has a nice ‘slither of a’ view of the harbour from large sliding window. 5*

Really lovely classic apartment - which exudes charm and style. Expertly updated with classy, modern amenities, and not a single Ikea item in sight! We were a little worried about the lack of a/c, but even on a 35C degree day, the apartment stayed cool and there were great cross breezes. Main bedroom is super spacious and beds were comfy. Clean kitchen with everything for your basic needs. Quiet neighborhood - about 10 minutes walking to either Edgecliff or Bondi Junction stations, and even closer to several convenient bus lines. Wonderful harbor views to the NE out the back of the apartment - I would never get tired of that view!

The apartment is wonderfully set up with everything a small group needs while travelling. It’s furnished like someone’s home with comfortable sofas and lovely details in every room. The location is fantastic - you are a few minutes walk from Bondi Junction, a 30 minute walk to Bondi Beach, and a few minutes from the Woolhara Village. The flat is also on major bus routes (though set back from the road so it doesn’t bother you) and close to a train station at the Junction.

It is an old building with 6 apartments, the comfort is very good with its very comfortable beds and the basic appliances to have a stay as in your home, it is located on the second floor and are wooden stairs with carpet, consider it if you carry heavy luggage! Communication was excellent when we had wifi issues and they were always kind at resolving our doubts, our visit was in winter and the heating appliances that were there in every room was very helpful. The very quiet neighborhood just 12 minutes away you walk to the train station and a market, you can also walk 18 minutes and you have a shopping center with a wide variety of food area and cinemas. Thank you for being our hosts, returning to my next vacation visit.

The property is on a quiet street within walking distance to the Edgecliff station and a short walk to cafes and shops. The apartment is nicely decorated and spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen. The dining room has full-length windows that can open up the entire length and a lovely ocean view.

Great location, and enjoyed the 900m walks to/from the train station and Coles and Aldi. Large lounge and dining room. Clean towels and linen and beds were great. Kitchen's amenities were great - took us a while to figure out how to open the washer+dryer combo (hold down the Power button for about 5 secs). WiFi speed was adequate (40Mbs down, 4Mbps up) Only 1 toilet/bathroom for the 4 of us - but we managed. Reminder that change of towels and linen is not included, and it is not serviced/cleaned. All in all we had a great time in Sydney - looking forward to staying at Courallie again.

Courallie is a very comfortable apartment set in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. Absolutely everything is provided in the apartment which made out stay relaxed. The sunny dining room was our favourite space with a view of the harbour. We would recommed Courallie and stay there again.

Exactly as described. Great amenities, luxury furniture, bedding, decoration. At walking distance from Queen street. Kitchen had everything needed. We loved the attention to detail, small things like plenty of towels, tea, soap etc as well as a nice welcome gift. We had a lovely stay!

We returned to Courallie for another stay over Easter visiting family. It is a well maintained beautifully decorated property with ample space for a couple or a well behaved family of 4. Plenty of crockery, cleaning supplies and bathroom products. Stairs to negotiate to the third floor may be difficult for older visitors with heavy luggage.

This accommodation is a rare find with a great location. We really appreciated the elegance and style of the property instead of the usual safe Airbnb decor. Whilst it felt as though we were staying in someone’s home rather than a hotel we felt privileged to experience it. The apartment has a beautiful view of the water and the surrounding area is peaceful but within walking distance of transport links. It had everything we needed and with one double bed and 2 singles it was perfect for our family of 4. I wouldn’t recommend it for young children as there are just too many gorgeous decorative items but for families with teens it works very well. Overall we really enjoyed it and would stay there again.

Disastrous check in with no main entrance key provided for 3hrs. Waited outside until a neighbour let us in. Back up key lockbox empty also !!! Had to leave the apartment for a dinner praying that the key would be there when we arrived back. Luckily it was. 37 C when we were there and fans didn’t really do the trick. Quiet building. First floor. Nice light view from dining area to harbour. Living room too dark for us. Good position between Double Bay below and Queen St Woollahra above.

Place is very unique and has a great character feel about it. The location is very good to explore the eastern suburbs of Sydney. We had a problem with the shower, and there response to fix it was extremely impressive. On a Saturday morning that had a plumber attend within 2 hours!! Excellent service. Thank you

This apartment was superb. conveniently situated between Bondi Junction and Edgecliff Station, we could not have asked for better. Easy check-in , great communication and a clean and comfortable space - probably one of the best airbnb experiences I have had. We had a car and i was a little concerned about parking but there was always availability on the street and never to far away from the front door. The apt ess very well appointed with new appliances in the kitchen. As we were there for 2 weeks we did use the facilities to cook and wash and there was nothing more that we needed. Loved it - would stay again.

We had an unexpectedly abrupt stay. In short, the host’s water heater broke and she refused to pay for the electrician to fix it after we supervised 3 different specialists to come and examine her apartment. While L’Abode was responsive and communicative during our troubles, they unnecessarily tried to squeeze us for money at the end when we were trying to leave. This was clearly a full refund situation: if you have an AirBnb without hot water, you cannot stay there, it’s like the place is missing all beds. ... but they still tried to charge us for the full duration. I believe the L’Abode system could work better if they had a more customer oriented approach, but it’s structure as it stands tries to protect the host (I assume because they have a finite amount of properties on their system and are trying to grow). Until they make serious efforts to reconcile this, I won’t stay at another one of their houses in the future.

Highly recommend the Courallie. It is a home from home and has everything there that you need. It is situated in a lovely part of the Easter Suburbs of Sydney. A good 10 minute walk to the nearest train station gives you access to all the other parts of Sydney. Buy yourself an Opal card and use the trains, buses and ferries.

The apartment is very well positioned for access to restaurants in Double Bay and a great supermarket (Coles) in Edgecliff. We did not need a car, as public transport is easy in the area. We had everything we needed for a more than comfortable stay in this beautiful property, and felt safe and very much at home. We would be very happy to stay again next time we are in Sydney. Thank you!
