This was a great place to stay with my wife, and both our parents. The location was perfect. It was easy to walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants which was really helpful and convenient. The house itself was awesome with really nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The outdoor section and pool area was also was lovely. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! The house was spacious and the kitchen/living room and outside area were amazing for spending time altogether as a family. Only a short walk to Bondi Beach and close to lots of amazing restaurants and cafes, and the area around the house felt very safe. The team at Abode were super helpful and responded quickly to a couple of queries we had. We would happily stay here again next time we visit Bondi!

Very good location within walking distance of Bondi Beach. The accommodation itself is fine. Some areas are quite worn, such as the floor in the living room and the facade on the terrace. Other areas are very new (e.g. the bathroom on the 1st floor). The kitchen equipment (pans, pots, etc.) is also quite simple and partly quite worn. It seems to lack regular maintenance, the fire alarm went off several times, even at night at 03:30. In addition, it sometimes smells very unpleasant in the house (1st floor master bedroom). We didn't find the pool that inviting. The rather unkempt neighbouring house also has a negative impact on the house. In total, except for the alarm, everything is acceptable for 2-3 nights. In our opinion, the house lacks a little love and care. All in all, quite expensive for what you get, but with a view to the location probably okay if you use it with several people and have no high demands.

Very spacious apartment with multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was pleasant and easy, from booking to check in and check out. Apartment is very close 10 min walk to Bondi beach, and was well furnished with everything we needed inside. Only downside was that the pool was a little dirty (maybe because it rained). We’ll definitely book this again if we’re back in Bondi with a group of friends!

The location was beautiful and the interior of the house was nice. Unfortunately the pool was filthy, I had to follow up several times for information and then the pool cleaners randomly appeared in the backyard the day before we were due to check out, would have appreciated a knock on the front door. The outside cushions on the couch were filthy we couldn’t sit on them and the host was unable to get them cleaned during our stay. This was very frustrating after I received multiple phone calls and emails to be approved to stay at this accomodation, asking for our professions, to provide our social media’s, linked in, more information about me and my guests. To go to this extent my expectation was that this accomodation would be in pristine condition. The management for the Airbnb appears to have a breakdown in communication between team members.

We had a lovely stay at this Bondi home, it was clean, had stock of all the things we needed. Beds were really comfortable and homely, great selections of pillows. Beautifully styled but also fine for our young kids (we never felt like we had to worry about the objects in the home, it was robust and practical). Kitchen and laundry worked well. The location was perfect, lots of playgrounds, great restaurants, easy walk to the bus and beach for little kids. We would highly recommend the house and the L’abode team.

The house is right near Bondi Beach, 5 minutes walk to it, the neighborhood is quiet, a lot of restaurants and bar convenience stores on the beach side; the house is clean and comfortable for 8 people in our group!

Great location, layout & outdoor entertainment area. Loved having a beer outside by the pool in the sun. Our only criticism is contrary to the photos the house looks very well used, it really needs a good clean and some maintenance.

This is a lovely house and was perfect for our family of five and would be great for bigger groups as the bedrooms and bathrooms are great. We hosted a dinner for Sydney family and there was a great selection of kitchnware available to do that. Some more wine glasses would be good! And some dinner napkins. Nice products in the bathroom - more bathroom towels would have been good but there were beach towels provided which was great. Would definitely recommend.

Although this a beautiful property, I don't feel it warrants the price. It felt like style over substance. The house needs some TLC. Unfortunately unable to use pool as there is no pool cover. House is very echoey, so beware that the noise carries. This was the sixth property we rented whilst travelling around Australia and the first we were disappointed with. The pros - extremefly comfy beds, proximity to Bondi beach, great shops, restaurants and transport.

This house and the location was very nice. A great spot to house my family who came overseas for my wedding. The place was clean and spacious. The three levels ensures people get their own room with a sense of privacy. Checkin was very easy & overall i would recommend the house — very walkable and close to all things in Bondi. However, my experience with the L’abode team was less than great. They canceled our bookings 3 times and this was the third home of our preference. I communicated the circumstances regarding overseas wedding guests multiple times, and after calls, email, airBNB etc, there was little done to make up for the inconvenience. The team were polite but service unhelpful. I was told if my dates were flexible I could stay elsewhere, but of course with the nature of a wedding that’s impossible. This booking was genuinely the biggest headache of our wedding planning process. Their homes are beautiful but I may try to avoid this company in the future for peace of mind.

We arrived to find the rubbish and recycling bins were full of household rubbish. The pool needed to be cleaned and there was no toilet paper in the house. Emailed for advice on what to do with our rubbish and recycling. Was told they would take care of it. This still had not happened when we checked out. The pool was being cleaned the morning we checked out.

Lovely home!! Greated with a delicious bottle of wine, delighful treats and simple bits like milk and eggs in the fridge. Nice touch!! Furniture is really clean and outdoor area provides a nice break from the sun, although slightly overlooked by apartments through trees, the adjoining sitting area inside still felt private. Beds/pillows are very comfortable, plenty of kitchenware, plates, salt pepper, coffee, tea etc. Washing machine was handy to have too. Rubbish bins were loaded, instructions for rubbish collection wasnt in the manual, after our query on what to do with excess rubbish it was provided, it would be a good addition to the manual. Unfortunately previous guests were laissez-faire on recycling which is a shame. Amenities locally are excellent 👌 all within walking distance. The only downside was the air-conditioning, although we set to 18-19° the house maintained a pretty consistent 24-25°. Made for some very warm nights and no insect screens to leave doors open.

Place was gorgeous and location fantastic, just minutes’ walk to Bondi. Hosts were very kind and accommodating. Only comment is that for the price paid I hoped it could be a little cleaner (pool was dirty and dusty corners / windows) and the kitchen could be better stocked with pantry essentials. But otherwise, we had a great time here.

Location is fantastic. Walking distance to everything Bondi. The gathering space between living area and outdoors was very nice. The kitchen was fairly well equipped - plenty of plates, glassware and silverware. The air conditioning wasn’t working and it was too hot for sleeping. The pool/jacuzzi was unplugged and we weren’t given any instruction how to use it.
