An access code to the estate will be provided on your day of check-in along with the property lock-box code to gain access to the house.Other things to note
Damage Protection:This property is protected by CrediGuest, our guest verification and damage protection partner. After the booking is confirmed, guests will receive a link to complete a quick verification and must choose either of the following options:
Option 1 - Security Deposit: A fully refundable R7,500 hold (a service fee equivalent to R47 is charged additionally).
Option 2 - Damage Waiver: A non-refundable R800 fee providing R10,000 in accidental damage cover.
Construction nearby:
There is a construction site right next door to the property. Guests may experience some noise and dust during the day. We appreciate your understanding.
Property Rules:
Check-in time - is no earlier than 2pm (unless prior arranged in writing).
Check-out time - is no later than 10am.
- No smoking inside the property (this includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, hubbly bubbly and the like).
- Noise to be kept to a minimum & no loud music after 10pm.
- The accommodation is for short-term residential rentals. It is not for parties, receptions, meetings, functions, commercial use, or guests above the registered number.
- No pets allowed (by order of the estate).
- All damages are for the guests account.
Loadshedding:
An inverter to power the TV, Wi-Fi and some lights nearby has been installed. Only to be used to charge devices like a laptop and phones. It cannot be used to plug in any heating appliances including a hairdryer, straightening iron, the kettle, etc. as this will blow the fuse. The inverter can hold charge between 5 and 8 hours.
Please download the Eskom se Push (ESP) app and add 'Winterton (5)' as an area to stay up-to-date with the schedule as it may change.
Late check-ins
In case of a late check-in after 7pm on Saturdays to Thursdays and 10pm on Fridays, a standard late check-in fee of R750 will apply.
Documentation and processes
We require all documentation and processes to be completed before 12 pm the day prior to check-in. Failure to do so will result in a late penalty fee of R350

Our stay with Euphoric Leisure was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spacious, beautiful and well-maintained the property was. The views were breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for a memorable family getaway in the Drakensberg. The location was very convenient, easily accessible, while still offering the peace, tranquillity and sense of safety we were looking for. The space comfortably accommodated our family and gave us more than enough room to relax, spend quality time together and create lasting memories. What really stood out was the exceptional service from the Euphoric Leisure team. They were always available and willing to assist whenever we needed anything. Communication was excellent, and the team was highly coordinated, responsive and cooperative throughout our stay. It gave us great peace of mind knowing that support was always just a message or call away. Thanks to Euphoric Leisure!!

Our stay in the Drakensberg was absolutely worth the trip. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and a wonderful sense of peace and nature. The community felt very safe, and it’s a fantastic base for hiking and exploring the Drakensberg. We enjoyed every single hour of our stay. The absolute highlight for our children were the zebras and springboks coming right up close to the terrace. Being able to sit outside and watch them from just a few metres away was a very special experience – they were completely relaxed and gave us some unforgettable moments. A beautiful place for families and nature lovers, and somewhere we can definitely recommend. We would happily come back again!
