This property is protected by LekkerGuest, our guest verification and damage protection partner. After the booking is confirmed, guests will receive a link to complete a quick verification and must choose either of the following options:
Option 1 - Security Deposit: A fully refundable R7,500 hold (a service fee equivalent to $2,50 is charged).
Option 2 - Damage Waiver: A non-refundable R800 fee providing R10,000 in accidental damage cover.
Property Rules:
Check-in time - is no earlier than 2pm (unless prior arranged in writing).
Check-out time - is no later than 10am.
- No smoking inside the property (this includes cigarettes, e-cigarettes, vapes, hubbly bubbly and the like).
- Noise to be kept to a minimum & no loud music after 10pm.
- The accommodation is for short-term residential rentals. It is not for parties, receptions, meetings, functions, commercial use, or guests above the registered number.
- No pets allowed (by order of the estate).
- All damages are for the guests account.
Loadshedding:
An inverter to power the TV, Wi-Fi and some lights nearby has been installed. Only to be used to charge devices like a laptop and phones. It cannot be used to plug in any heating appliances including a hairdryer, straightening iron, the kettle, etc. as this will blow the fuse. The inverter can hold charge between 5 and 8 hours.
Please download the Eskom se Push (ESP) app and add 'Winterton (5)' as an area to stay up-to-date with the schedule as it may change.
Late check-ins
In case of a late check-in after 7pm on Saturdays to Thursdays and 10pm on Fridays, a standard late check-in fee of R750 will apply.
Documentation and processes
We require all documentation and processes to be completed before 12 pm the day prior to check-in. Failure to do so will result in a late penalty fee of R350

Aloe Corner was absolutely stunning and peaceful. It was the perfect place for my family to enjoy hiking the Berg and relaxing. The place is spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed. The layout is great and patio is amazing. This is one of our favorite accomodations we have stayed at ever and hope to return in the future.
