Tranquil 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday home with solar backup power. It offers a central living space that opens onto a partially covered patio set in a beautiful garden where bird life is abundant.
Bedrooms are spacious and cupboard space plentiful. Fully equipped kitchen so many tasty meals can be made and enjoyed by all.
At night, pick up a good book and soak up the warm atmosphere by lighting a fire. On a clear day, retreat to a patio and enjoy soul restoring views of the Drakensberg.
Situated in Cathkin Estates which is 1000 hectares of indigenous grassland, forests and streams. This secure wildlife estate has a variety of plains game that roam the land and are a delight to watch. Zebra are frequent visitors of Aleah.
Enjoy walks, hikes, mountain biking, fishing, animal viewing and bird watching directly within the estate. For pure convenience, a variety of shops, restaurants and activities are just a few minutes drive from the estate.
CLEANING ARRANGEMENTS
Cleaning is included every 3rd or 4th day for bookings with a minimum 4 night stay (during weekdays only excluding Public Holidays). Additional cleaning is R420 per day and must be requested at least 48 hours in advance (subject to availability). Sundays and Public Holidays are double the rate. Additional cleans on a weekend will require guests to collect and drop off the cleaner at the estate gate as there is no staff transport available on weekends.
LOADSHEDDING
To assist during loadshedding this property uses solar power. Guests are therefore advised to use the power responsibly during their stay (especially on cloudy days).
Damage Protection
This property is protected by Just Be Lekker (JBL), the travel reputation platform. Guests are required to pay a R600 non-refundable damage waiver fee (R7,500 worth of accidental damage cover) OR have a R5,000 refundable security deposit hold placed on their card to gain access to the property. The guest will be sent a link by JBL to verify their booking.
Please note that should a guest choose the refundable security deposit, a R47 service fee will be charged by JBL. This fee covers the cost of verifying the booking and ensuring the property's protection. Just Be Lekker aims to provide a secure and reliable booking experience for all guests.
While the security deposit / damage waiver fee will be processed 1 day before check-in, we advise you to complete the JBL verification process as soon as possible to avoid any complications with your booking.

What a lovely property with great privacy. Very comfortable in a private community with beautiful views of the mountains. It would be nice if the hedges and plants in the back yard were a bit shorter so we could see the Mountain View’s more easily, but not a big deal. Thank you for hosting us so well.

Euphoric are definitely very responsive. The House is very sweet, we had a wonderful stay. The estate is Lovely, with beautiful walks and good views. The Fan in the main room is not working, shower door in 2nd bathroom does not close properly, the salt n pepper provided are small take away sachets and not a grinder which I felt was not enough and a bit strange. Other than that. Was legit.

You'll be notified prior to check-in of the loadshedding schedule should there be any that occur during your stay so that you can plan around it accordingly. Late check-ins In case of a late check-in after 7pm on Saturdays to Thursdays and 10pm on Fridays, a standard late check-in fee of R750 will apply. Documentation and processes We require all documentation and processes to be completed before 12pm the day prior to check-in. Failure to do so will result in a late penalty fee of R350 and the risk of your booking being cancelled without a refund.
