I stayed two nights at the apartment and I really had an amazing time there ! The photos matched perfectly reality and the neighborhood was amazing - super walkable place at 5min from Sagrada Família on foot. Communication with host agency was exceptional as they always responded quickly, with a super friendly and professional attitude to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. I definitely recommand the place !

At check-in, we had to wait outside the door for about 40 minutes for someone to come, even though we had followed the instructions (call 45 minutes before the scheduled arrival time and provide our arrival time). The apartment is very audible. The area is noisy and full of construction sites. While it's true that the host can't do anything about it, the windows and the wall are as thin as tissue paper. Furthermore, every sound within the stairwell was very clearly audible at all times. The flat is very, very dark. Hardly any daylight or sunlight gets in. To top it all off, there was mould in the bathroom, a persistent unpleasant odour coming from the drain, and bloodstains on the bedspread. The only good things were the excellent location and the size of the flat.

Beautiful and really comfortable apartment in an excellent location. Easy access to the metro, walkable to tons of restaurants and bars, and if you feel like getting in a good walk you can easily take a stroll over to the historic neighborhoods. Highly recommend staying here while in Barcelona.

Incredible location, surrounded by Sagrada Família and lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars. Great links to metro network and convenient supermarkets located right next door. Had some issues with the building losing power for a few days, but the host was excellent in investigating and escalating to the national power company. Comfy living space and great nights sleep in a very comfy bed! Would definitely recommend

The apartment needs maintenance. The walls are dirty and have marks, and some tiles in the bathroom are coming loose. It feels like the apartment has been heavily used. That’s completely fine, but given the high price range, I expected it to be in spotless condition.

Terrific location! A block from metro and Sagrada. Space is great for two - sizable living room/dining area. Bed seemed a queen size - quiet bedroom in the back. Living room has some street boise despite the double pane glass. Other than some repairs needed in the bathroom and some grout needed, place was really great!

The apartment is very cosy and well planned, with a clean design, thoughtful lighting, and everything you might need for your stay. The building has an elevator and even a ramp at the entrance, so no worries if you’re arriving with large luggage. The only small downside was the lack of basic essentials (like salt, tea, or olive oil), but there’s a great supermarket just across the road. The host was super responsive – a small appliance issue was fixed within two hours, even on a weekend.

We loved our stay! We had a toddler with us and David was very accommodating and helpful! The location was amazing, walking distance to sagrada and the train but far enough that the restaurants and cafe felt authentic, about a 5 minute walk. Very comfortable bed and the space was large and clean! We would 100% stay here again. Thank you David for all your help and food recommendations.

Apartment is located couple of minutes (walking) away from Sagrada Família, which means you have a perfect starting point for exploring. Either walking through Barcelona or taking any other means of public transportation. Check-in procedure was super easy and David was very helpful with recommendations and also pointed out some things to avoid there. Apartment itself was pretty much what you can see in the pictures. All the amenities are there that you need for a short stay and it is a super nice and cosy apartment. By the looks of it, it is most probably an older building, so there were some downsides to it. There is a lot of sound coming from neighbouring apartments and also from the street. Not much sound insulation done by the apartment windows. Not a big issue for me, but might be for someone else. The only thing that bothered me was the shower. Unfortunately there was some mold on the shower walls, floor and shower head. Other than that I can’t complain.

Highly recommended apartment for a stay in BCN. The apartment is very large and in perfect condition. Very well decorated, with furniture, appliances and bed in excellent condition. It has two air conditioners, one in the living room and one in the bedroom. The photos are very faithful to the apartment except for the light, as it is a first floor, it is not as bright as shown. It is located meters from the Sagrada Familia, so it is a busy area, connected and with many options.

The apartment is very centrally located: public transport is quickly accessible, and you can do a lot on foot. It is spacious, clean when you move in and mostly as shown in the pictures. Communication also worked well (except for the check-in) - concerns were quickly answered and partly resolved. However, the check-in was poorly organised – despite multiple confirmations of the arrival time, we had to wait 50 minutes before the accommodation, with different information. The bathroom is getting old (mould in the shower, minor damage to the floor), and the apartment is much darker than in the photos. For longer stays, more amenities would be practical (e.g. hanging facilities, vacuum cleaner). The bed is rather small and unsuitable for tall people. In addition, the windows are poorly insulated, so you can hear the street and staircase noise. Overall, an okay stay - we would have expected more for the money.

While the apartment itself was clean and in a great location, our overall experience was marred by a very disappointing check-in process. Despite filling out the necessary forms, messaging the host, and calling immediately after landing (saying that we are on the way), we were left waiting outside for over an hour late at night. We had also paid €30 for a late check-in, yet no one showed up for quite some time. On the phone the only responds was "We don't know when the next agent is available to bring the key". When someone finally arrived, there was no apology or explanation offered. As two women alone in an unfamiliar city at night with lots of luggage, this situation felt unsafe and extremely stressful. It also caused us to miss our dinner reservation and set a very unsettling tone for the beginning of our stay. The lack of accountability from the host and the poor handling of our check-in left a lasting negative impression. I would not stay here again based on this experience.

The location is great, the apartment is cute, but the host's response was very slow and in a few cases nil. We had to wait 1 hour for which we scheduled to arrive, and they didn't fix anything.

The apartment is great and located in an excellent area, very close to the main attraction. In the listing, it was mentioned that we needed to call, but this was not necessary. We received quick responses in the app and other messengers. It was also stated that there was no hairdryer, but there actually was one. The only downside is the noise level. It’s quite loud both in the living room and the bedroom. You can clearly hear the entrance doors to the building opening and closing, which can be quite disturbing. Additionally, the sound insulation is poor—you can hear neighbors, their alarms, conversations, and other noises.

Overall the apartment is at a good location however the instruction of check in is unclear. We were told specifically to contact using our cell phone not through any apps so we specially payed for international calls. However, the agents still contacted us through the app without notice. We were asked to wait outside of the apartment without telling us any specific time. When we tried to call back and get more information, the number was never picked up. During our stay, we asked if it’s possible to get more kitchen supplies as what have been provided is extremely limited. We contacted them through both Airbnb and other apps and never received response. The sound insulation of the apartment is extremely poor. We can hear people walking or talking from the bedroom, so if you are a light sleeper, we don’t recommend this place.

Great Spot, the place was very clean we immediately felt comfortable. Just 1 minute away you have the main attraction in Barcelona. It has very affordable and good restaurants close, and a supermarket right in front of the door. Perfect spot, beautiful place. One thing I noticed is that in the living room you will hear noise from the outside like ambulance and cars honking a lot if you don’t mind that I would recommend it!

Overall nice apartment, did not have as many of the staples to use for the kitchen and bathroom, would want to bring your own shower and bathroom soaps. Had some confusion with communication with the staff cause it appeared there was a different person responding part of the time and they wouldn’t read past messages so I think we all ended up a little confused. There is Barca tax that I wish I had known about ahead of time and should have been included on the price you seen on Airbnb but it’s charged separately. The bathroom had a little bit of an odd smell in the shower but otherwise clean. Overall I definitely think the apartment costed more than I think should have been listed especially for the off season. I will say there were some really wonderful staff that I worked with and they helped me feel at home. There were just moments of confusion in the back and forth through text that was frustrating

A truly lovely apartment in a wonderful location, super clean and tidy 10/10 in that respect, only two slight issues, the shower leaks as the seals aren’t attached properly, I’m sure this is an easy fix! The main issue I had was when arriving, I was told to call a number 45 before I arrived, I spoke to a man who sounded like he was on speaker phone in a large room and I could barely hear him. Then when I arrived at the apartment, I called again to find out what I was meant to do… I was just told to wait outside and “someone will be along soon” when I asked how will I know who it is, I was told they were called John, but wasn’t given a number for them, or any identifying features. I thought this was odd. Then eventually two men on a moped turned up, I asked if one of them was John and lo and behold there he was, they then both walked me into the flat and showed me around, I think this is an awful system, if I was a solo female traveller that would be rather uncomfortable I think.

Our experience was very good. Host was quick to respond to our pre-check-in messages, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. Check-in process was straightforward and hassle-free. The apartment is as described: very comfortable, ideal for long stays, and is perfectly connected to public transport. In addition, the location is excellent for walking and exploring the city. The only downside is that, being an old building in the center, the bathroom has a pretty noticeable pipe smell. It would be very helpful to add more diffusers or flavors to minimize this inconvenience. Overall a really nice stay.

Stayed with enjoy apartments for 4 days and it was perfect I felt right at home , the place was spot less and very easy to locate, right in the centre which was great , walkable distance to alone of beautiful places for sightseeing, I would definitely recommend, thanks for having us.

Due to the DANA situation, had delayed arrival to Madrid, resulting in the lost of my flight, had to wait three more hours to finally arrive at Barcelona, meanwhile communicating with Joy Apartments. They were very understanding and helpful. What had been a difficult situation was eased by their being there for us!!! Barcelona was wonderful and we felt very secured and at home. Thanks, so much!!’

This airbnb was 10/10!!! I would definitely stay here again. It was exactly as described and extremely clean. I loved the decor design and spacious layout. Don’t worry about being close to the road, once the windows are closed, inside becomes quiet and peaceful. The bed, pillows and linens were super soft and comfy. The location is right around the corner from La Sagrada Familia with many restaurants and icecream shops nearby. The host was super helpful, answering all of our questions and queries very fast. We had an issue with the transport/transfer company when we arrived(not the airbnb host’s fault) and the host was able to resolve the issue and get us a refund and organized a taxi for us back to the airport free of charge. This was amazing service. If you’re looking for a sexy airbnb thats close to main attractions here’s your spot! Enjoy!

Good spot near Sagrada Familia. No shortage of grocery stores, or places to get a morning cup of coffee. Overall a decent, cozy, convenient place to take in Barcelona. The communication with the company was absolutely wonderful by the way. Incredibly helpful and responsive, for which I am incredibly grateful for. Thanks again!
