There is no parking, and you have to park very far away, pick up your bags, go up a long flight of stairs, and then go down. There are cobwebs on the kitchen ceiling.

We booked this place because of the stunning views over Como and the lake and were not disappointed! The check in location was a little trek across town to the apartment and although you can't drive directly to the door, we quickly figured out you could leave through the front of the building and it was about a 10 minute walk right to the entrance of the Funicular. The apartment was well equipped, the only thing I would note is the dining chairs are not the most comfortable and could definitely do with some additional blankets (we liked to sit out on the balcony in the mornings but it was a little chilly!) The girls who manage the property were lovely and very helpful! Thank you all!

Overall, the stay was very good. The apartment is outside the city, which we found very pleasant. However, the way to the apartment was generally exhausting, especially in the heat, and not suitable for everyone. The view was fantastic! Unfortunately, the shower was a little dirty, the lights did not work in the living room and there were fewer cooking utensils than in the pictures. Spices were completely missing – if you want to cook, you should bring everything. The price was too high for that.

From the apartment you have what must be one of the best views of Como. We really appreciated it - it was absolutely fantastic to sit on the balcony and enjoy the view both early and late. The apartment is located a bit up in the city, so you have to be willing to walk uphill (but the view is definitely worth it). There are two possible ways to get to the apartment (one option via about 200 steps, the other by entering the top of the apartment), but this was very unclear when we checked in, so we spent a lot of time finding our way when the taxi driver sent us to one place, while we had directions from another place. By creating directions for both options, this will be very enlightening. It takes about 10 minutes to walk down to the city. All in all, a wonderful stay, and we will be happy to come back!!

Me and my family had an amazing stay! The views from the hillside were absolutely breathtaking, overlooking both the lake and the city of Como. While the incline and stairs to the property are a bit of a workout, they’re well worth it for the stunning scenery. The place itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating, making the experience even better. There was a crib available for our toddler as well but as noted, it is an extra charge per night. The location offers the best of both worlds—a peaceful retreat with a view, yet just a 10-15 minute downhill walk to the lakefront boardwalk, where you’ll find plenty of restaurants and shopping. Reminder that everything you walk down, you have to walk back up! Highly recommend for those on short stays who don’t mind the uphill walk. It’s a fantastic home base for day trips, as you won’t need to trek back up multiple times a day.

Lago como is beautiful! the apartment is well equipped and has an amazing view! However, it should be noted that it is hard to reach it! The taxi only goes until a certain point of the road and after you face an uphill walk that can be extremely tricky with big luggages and maybe impossible for some people with any limited mobility. This was not warned by the hosts before and it was something that bothered us. Overall, being aware of this, I would recommend it for a weekend getaway!
