The location of the residence is very nice and in Como Center and overlooks the lake and close to everything My visit in January was very warm, There's also a bidet in the bathroom. And drinking water

This place was all about the view, the location. Our balcony looked over the lake and we were able to watch the fireworks on New Year's Eve. The space was large and had plenty of room for us. We prepped one of our meals in the kitchen, which was great. The layout worked really well. It's a busy area being by the lake, but we enjoyed it all! So many restaurants tucked into alleys, so charming. La Pasta was our fave. 💛

Check-in was not convenient and I wasn't given the instructions until 2 hours prior to arriving. You have to go to a lock box blocks away and then to house which is inconvenient with luggage. Also, had to bring the key back there on check-out which I was not told about until the night before. The pictures were accurate but the house has a noticeable smell and is very noisy all around. It was only quiet from 12am-4am otherwise, there were trash trucks, street cleaners and contruction noises. It is a good location walkable to everything and pretty view of lake.

The place is tremendous, centrally located and close to all the shops and dining. During Christmas, the Christmas markets are right outside when you step out of the building. The balcony overlooks Lake Como, making it the perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening. My only complaint, and it’s nothing the owner can control, is the noise. You can hear the trash trucks emptying the bins and, in one of the rooms, conversations from the street below. That being said, it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again. It’s just something worth being aware of. Next time, I’ll simply bring earplugs because the location, functionality of the apartment, and that incredible view far outweigh everything else.

Just hours before our scheduled arrival we were informed that our reserved property was not available. This last minute notification left us in a very difficult position, particularly given the time, effort and planning that went into organizing our stay. To make matters worse, after corresponding with the property manager, we were offered 2 alternatives neither of which was acceptable. One property was on the 4th floor with a broken elevator. This option was impossible for us as I am a disabled male unable to climb 4 flights of stairs multiple times daily while managing heavy luggage. The other was in a remote area with no access to transportation. Actually neither was acceptable and would disrupt our plans. Reluctantly we stayed at the remote property, which led us to spend hundreds of euros on transportation costs to travel to & from the property. We felt the management was dismissive & insincere given the circumstances. Our experience fell far short of expected standards.

The location to this apartment was wonderful. The pictures and description of apartment are accurate. Beautiful view of lake Como from the balcony which is right across the street. Close to many restaurants and shopping. If coming by train, Como logo isn’t the best due to having to get the keys to the apartment @ a different location which is closer to a different train stop.

A great place to stay if you are ever in Como! The location was ideal for our trip… just across the street from the main ferry / boat terminals. Really nice to wake up in the morning and watch the boat activity from your private deck. Highly recommended. I would very much look forward to staying at the property again.

This was a great place to stay! It was spacious, clean, and great view overlooking the water. Right by the water and in great walking distance of a lot of things within Como. Nick was also great on communication, welcoming us, and giving great local recommendations! We had no qualms about our stay and would for sure come back. A great experience all around.

I stayed in this apartment and can only highly recommend it! The place was exactly as described: clean, cozy, and conveniently located to visit the city. A special thank you goes to the agency that manages the property: professional, helpful and efficient. From first contact to departure, communication has always been clear and quick. They made check-in and checkout easy and were ready to help us with every request, even during the stay. Their attention to the customer really made a difference. Highly recommended for both short stays and longer stays!

Of course it's all about the location which is fantastic. The place is a bit dated but there is AC. I stayed during peak season so it was twice as expensive, however it's one of the only choices if you want to be in the area with 6+ guest.

The Piazza Cavour apartment is very well located, with easy access to the ferry terminal, bus station, grocery store and restaurants. The apartment was very clean and the communication with the hosts was easy and efficient. This is a great place to stay if you will be out and about all day and are looking for a convenient place to sleep at night. The marble floors are beautiful, but can be a little cold, so I recommend bringing a pair of slippers. Thanks for a great stay!

This apartment was ideally located right on the lake just as described. We throughly enjoyed our stay; the bedrooms were a good size as well the common areas. It would be great if the manager of the property could turn on the boiler prior to guest arrival to ensure there is hot water at an instant during the stay- this is not something most guests will be thinking of when they arrive. Overall, however, as previously mentioned, it was a beautiful place & we had a great time.

This apartment is beautiful! We definitely paid for the view as we went for New Year’s Eve and had a fantastic view of the fireworks from the comfort of the beautiful balcony. That being said, the apartment is beautiful, but it definitely has some old European charm. The hot water is not great, but just spread out your showers. The views and furniture/decor were fantastic! And the location could not be beat!

We had a great experience in Lake Como. The host was very responsive and helped us with any issues we had as far as figuring out parking, baggage service and even return of a lost item after our stay. Would stay here again next time!

I'll start by saying the location of this Airbnb cannot be beat. It's got an excellent view of the water and there are tons of shops and restaurants in the area. We were a little underwhelmed by the Airbnb itself. It was very spacious and it was technically accurate compared to the pictures, but the furnishings could use some work. The things we noticed in person that aren't captured in the photos include: the couch was peeling, the floors left our feet dark and dusty, the kitchen faucet was so loose you couldn't operate it without holding it down, none of the bed blankets/comforters were laid out (we had to find them in the closet, but maybe this is a culture difference), and there were not enough sheets for everyone. And the sheets provided had lots of stains. The space just needs some love.
