The space

The spacious villa is laid out over 2 floors, with the bedrooms on the ground floor, with direct access out to the pool and the living area on the 1st floor to maximise the stunning lake views. It is light and airy with large patio doors in most rooms. It is stylishly furnished throughout.

There is free wifi throughout the property.

Ground floor:4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms:
Bedroom 1 – double bedroom
Bedroom 2 – double bedroom
Bedroom 3 – double bed + single bed
Bedroom 4 – 2 single beds and space for extra single bed, if required at a small extra charge.
There are 2 shower rooms on this level, one between bedroom 2 and 3, with a door from each bedroom, making it an en suite serving both bedrooms.

A further shower room is located in the hallway serving bedrooms 1 and 4.

There is also a washing machine.

Additional sleeping accommodation is on the first floor with a double sofa bed.
and an additional shower room, making 3 in total.

First floor:
Designed to make the most of the panoramic lake views, the open plan living dining & kitchen area has full-width patio doors, leading onto s spacious terrace with room to dine and sunbathe.

A modern and spacious kitchen with everythingwhat is needed to feel like home. There is a large sofa/sofa bed which also provides sleeping accommodation for 2.

Steps lead down to the pool level. The pool area can be gated off for safety.

Externally:
Private and sunny pool with spacious sunbathing areas overlooking the lake. OPEN from 1st April to 31st September

Car Parking:
There is ample parking space directly below the property and you can drive directly up to the property to deposit your bags/shopping and then reverse back into the parking spaces. The villa is at the beginning of a single-track(tarmac) road and so is very quiet and safe with maybe 1 vehicle per day passing by. The access road is narrow and steep, so not suitable for minibus-type vehicles. Standard people carriers and normal cars are fine.

There is a washing machine in the kitchen.
We highly recommend a car, as the walk back from the village of Argegno (approx. 15 minutes) is very steep.
A private chef and maid service are available on request. Mid-week clean and linen change available on request.

Had a great stay there as a group of friends who spent the weekend together. The service company replies quickly and friendly! Much like other people said, the street up to the Airbnb is very very steep which can be challenging for heavy cars. Would come here again for such a weekend with friends. Thanks!

The villa itself is very beautiful, and the view of Lake Como is truly fantastic. The pool was also fine overall, and we generally had a pleasant stay. However, there are some important points to be aware of before booking. The villa is located very high up on the mountain, and the access roads are extremely narrow and steep. The journey may be difficult with larger or less powerful vehicles. In addition, the car park is not directly at the property, so luggage and purchases have to be carried a longer distance. This can be particularly difficult with children or sleeping children. Another point of criticism concerns the facilities. Air conditioning was indicated when we made our booking. However, shortly before our arrival, this information was removed. When we spoke to the landlord about this, he claimed that air conditioning had never been part of the facilities, although Airbnb support confirmed that there was air conditioning.

Had a very nice stay overall. The location of the accommodation and the view are really beautiful and made our stay special. Unfortunately, the accommodation was not clean when we arrived, and some items were damaged. I informed the host directly and sent photos. Despite these points, we enjoyed our stay.

We were a family of 6 from 18-76 so it was a perfect house with 4 bedrooms and good outdoorspace. The best thing is the amazing view from the balcony over lake Como. To have a good view you have to be high up, so that can be a bit challenging as the road is so narrow and steep and only for people in good shape to walk up the hill. But we had a car that I think is necessary when staying in this house. Argegno town is very charming with good restaurants and we also used the free bus in the evening to go to neighbourhood towns for dinners.
