This fairytale-like, almost enchanted villa could easily have appeared to Samuel Taylor Coleridge in a dreamlike vision and served as inspiration for the Romantic poet, such is the charm that envelops this timeless place. An imposing villa surrounded by a vast park, with a breathtaking view overlooking the lake - so striking in its incomparable beauty and gentleness that it will send shivers down your spine.
THINGS TO KNOW
The villa consists of two units within the same building: a larger main section that can accommodate up to 6 guests and an apartment on the upper floor that can host up to 4 guests, for a total capacity of 10 guests. The two units are connected by an internal door. We recommend driving with caution along the road from Como to Brunate, as it features sharp bends and narrow sections. Alternatively, the villa can be easily reached by funicular from Como, with a journey time of approximately 8 minutes. The Brunate funicular station is just a few minutes’ walk from the villa.

Giovanni was lovely and responsive with great recommendations. We loved the place - it has rustic charm and classic Italian. Really recommend getting a self drive boat - it is the best way to experience Como. Bruante is beautiful with amazing views. The funicular is close by but expect a wait in peak times. We walked down to Como one evening which was steep but scenic. Thanks for having us!

We loved this place! The view was amazing, the hosts were great, and the house felt like a real authentic experience. It’s just steps away from the funicular, which is super convenient for getting to Como, and it was great to have private parking. The one thing I’d keep in mind is that the roads are narrow going up to Brunate, so plan accordingly!

PLEASE NOTE! - To access the property, you will need: - Fill in the online check-in form (where you will be asked for photographs of the passports of ALL members who will be staying). - Sign the lease for tourist use. - Make a quick video call where all guests staying will have to show their IDs again so that they can be checked further. - Until EVERYTHING is completed, it will not be possible to enter the structure. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE MANDATORY IN ORDER TO STAY IN THE STRUCTURE AND ARE REQUIRED BY ITALIAN LAW. ______________________ POSSIBLE ADDITIONAL FEES: - For CHECK-IN after 7:00 p.m. and CHECK-OUT after 10:00 a.m. (if not authorised), an additional sum will be requested, which will be communicated upon arrival and must be paid through a link that will be sent by us. - If the property is left in an unsuitable state, an additional sum will be requested due to overtime for cleaning. - Turn things off

Property Manager Terms
- For a full refund, the guest must cancel at least 5 full days before the listing’s local check-in time (shown in the confirmation email).
- If the guest arrives and decides to leave early, 50% of the nightly rate for the nights not spent 24 hours after the cancellation occurs are refunded.
- Cleaning fees are always refunded if the reservation is cancelled before check-in.
- Accommodation fees (the total nightly rate you’re charged) are refundable in certain circumstances as outlined below.
- A reservation is officially cancelled when the guest clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in Dashboard > Your Trips > Change or Cancel.
