The road to the property is quite tight and difficult in larger cars. Parking is quite a ways away from the property. There is no AC other than in the living room. Host is very friendly, responsive and happy to help their guests. Very convenient location if touring Como.

Nick is an accommodating host and our communication was just fine. Nice view of the house, good location. However, the cleanliness of the house unfortunately did not meet my expectations and made it uncomfortable. Especially the bathroom. For the price I would have expected a better stay.

This home was a great option during my stay in Como! I was in town for a wedding and had friends staying at the Hilton which was just a 5-7 minute walk away. I took a taxi when I first arrived, as the property is a walk up a hill and I didn’t want to lug my luggage all by myself. My boyfriend, however, arrived a few days after me and he had a taxi who refused to bring him directly to the property due to the narrow roads leading up to it. I had an issue accessing hot water for my showers, which wasn’t a huge deal because it was so hot out during my stay and I found the cool showers to be refreshing most days. However, it wasn’t so great at night or early morning when it was colder out. I also had a non-responsive moment when I asked how to work the air conditioning unit. Luckily, my boyfriend figured it out upon his arrival (use the white remote control on the coffee table). Overall, I would stay here again if back in Como. The place needs just a few minor tweaks and more pillows.

Great place to stay in Como. It actually looks better and more spacious than it seemed. The neighbourhood is really quite and we love the AC in the living room. The e-grill was also great. Just a few notes: if you are by foot, you probably better be in a decent shape otherwise it can be challenging to walk up every day to the place after a long day at the lake. We ran out of warm water for a few days. We only contacted the host through social media page, which wasn’t quite helpful. It turned out the boiler is connected to the balcony outlet. So if the outlet switch is off, there won’t be hot water. We didn’t see that information anywhere in the place’s instructions folder. They would probably have handled it if we had called them instead tho, but it was not a big deal as well. There was no laundry detergent, although the host said it was in the bathroom cabinet. But this wasn’t communicated back to them as well. Overall, we loved our experience there and we super recommend it.

Spacious apartment with great views. Some issues with the fridge being super warm and neighbours having a party at night. Otherwise really nice and we enjoyed the views. A bit difficult to get a taxi to the apartment.

Everything was in line with the description and photos. Beautiful views of the lake and the funicular and take off the seaplanes. The check-in instructions were very clear and complete. The apartment was perfectly clean, quite spacious and perfect for a stay as a couple. Free street parking possible 1 minute away. We'll be back!

The apartment was nice and had a pretty view of the lake. Walking down to town was easy enough, as well. My main critique is that the bedding and interior was slightly lacking — there were extra pillows, but no extra pillow cases. A broken wine opener. I had to set up the tv myself so that it could connect to the internet (and thus play tv apps like netflix). Also no extra towels. Fairly minor things, but left just enough of a basic perception that I am docking it one star lower. Would still stay again though.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was faithful to the description and very well-equipped. In view of the dense traffic, we decided to use the car as little as possible so the center of Como is a 30 min walk away by a walk along the Lake. This leads you to the pier for the villages bordering the lake. Milan is 1 hour by train from Como Lago station and takes you a 15-minute walk from Duomo. The nearest bus stop is 5 min. walk. This is a good location to shine in the area . The team at My Home in Como is responsive and efficient.

There were two of us and the apartment was very practical and tastefully decorated. The kitchen, important to us, left nothing to be desired. In addition to good restaurants, we enjoy the great shopping for Italian products. The balcony, on two sides, was a pleasant addition for 2 people. The beds offer very good sleeping comfort. The location = quiet and just outside the center, on the mountain, makes a car necessary. We would come back!

Great place to stay a little outside of Como. 25 minutes walk into Como by the water. The view is beautiful and the apartment has all that you need!

A lovely apartment with lovely views. Close enough for the amenities that Como offers. We relied on public transport (partly because taxis seem rare) and there was a good and regular bus service to close by. Spacious and smart living area with balcony for outside dining. The kitchen and bathroom might benefit from updating but this is a minor issue. We had a great time in Como and on the lake and villages. Recommend.

A great apartment that had everything we needed. The description matches closely to the look and vibe of the pictures and the view of the lake is amazing. The kitchen was great on nights we didn't eat out. FYI the walk to town is about 20 minutes along a relatively main road. There are city buses along this road too that would shorten this. Management was helpful with all of our questions / problems and even let us check in early. I just wish they were quicker at responding on the Airbnb app but they were very helpful when calling the office.

Such a lovely Airbnb, the pictures don’t do the real place justice! The My Home crew really came through to make the experience perfect, everything from the check in to the checkout went smoothly. Would really recommend the place!
