I've been going to Ireland for 30 years, we've always rented our homes. Renting this one for €900 we expected something wonderful. Big disappointment: range hood in the kitchen dirty and greasy, the laundry dryer difficult to open and closed because broken, the outside lights and in the shower that were not working and the shower in the room "en suite" out of service. So yes the landscape was there, the change of scenery too but the old and poorly maintained accommodation is certainly not worth this price! I am unhappy and disappointed because this is the first time in 30 years that I have made myself feel like this. I was charged for a location in the connemara that's all and the company Connemara Lettings takes advantage of the notoriety of the place to charge exorbitant prices for poorly maintained accommodations. For the record, no WiFi and the phone only goes to the back of the garden, for me it's a detail but I prefer to mention it. In short, very disappointed and I do not recommend this place

Good value for 3 double rooms . We stayed for two nights for a family wedding at nearby hotel. Beautiful spot and very peaceful away from the crowds.

Waterside was a fantastic place for our family to stay. It was perfectly located for what we needed. I would highly recommend it. Be sure to be prepared for no WiFi, and enjoy the break from the internet.
