We feel that the property is in a very poor state of disrepair and is very tired, stained, and damaged with much of the basic and essential equipment not fit for purpose. We feel it should not have been rented out in its current state and was totally unacceptable. We were extremely upset to find that the host knew of some of the problems before we arrived but did not tell us. We were having to facilitate appointments to resolve issues which was extremely time-consuming and disruptive. We had to get back early for plumbers and one plumber even decided to measure up for new kitchen cupboards! We also had to install the new equipment which we should not have to do and all the old boxes and equipment were left in the flat for us to try and put somewhere! In addition, a horrible stench emanates from the two drains on the terrace which appears to arise from the flats below, and the lift is very noisy, especially in the double bedroom, and the lift starts at 5.30 am! Trying to resolve the issues was very stressful and ruined our whole holiday. Dealing with the host and air bnb was unsatisfactory and added to our stress. The host offered us 2 nights refund as compensation which we felt was inefficient and an insult. Air bnb offered to move us but did not act in a timely fashion. At a time when everyone has been struggling for the last two years, we feel it is disgraceful.

Had a lovely stay. The apartment is in a great location - within easy walking distance of the beach and old town. Also close to the main road so easily accessible by car. The apartment was very clean, well equipped and the views from the amble terrace very good. It was also good to stay in the main part of Calpe, being on the 9th floor away from the sound of traffic. Would definitely recommend it.

Property Manager Terms
On renting the property, a deposit is established as a guarantee for the proper use of the furniture and fittings, equipment and the use of the entrances to the property. This amount will be paid upon arrival either in cash or as a payment held on your credit card, and will be refunded within a maximum of 7 calendar days after the end of the guest’s stay, as long as no damage has been caused to the property.Payments: 45% of the full rental amount will be paid within a maximum period of 3 days after making the reservation. The remaining 55% will be paid 15 days before arrival, or at the time of arrival, prior to the handing over of the keys.
