After checking in, we noticed that the rubbish and items in the fridge had been left behind by the previous occupants… a minor detail; we didn't even inform anyone about it. On the plus side, large, comfortable towels and shower gel. Hot water and a large mirror in the bathroom. Another plus was the kitchenette. We managed to use the plates and cutlery. The coffee machine is another nice touch in the room. The downside was that there was no one at reception. One day, we couldn't get into the room… the code stopped working. Following a telephone consultation, a new code has been issued. The breakfasts were basic, and the coffee was average. It's fine if you want to eat your fill. If I were to book a stay in Malta again, I would choose a different apartment.

Me and friend found BED BUGS the last day of our stay. We started itching by day 3 and decided to check under the bed sheet and we were absolutely appalled by the tiny insects. I had to report the faulty shower doors that wouldn’t close all the way so water wen all over the bathroom wen we shower. Even after it was fixed water was still leaking through the gap in the sliding doors. The hot tub smelt like it had NEVER been properly cleaned. The water was dirty and the inside was slippery from all the dirt and oils built up over time. The breakfast was poor. Cold pastries, old sandwiches meats and cheap coffee. For what you’re paying, it’s is NOT worth the price. This was honestly such a waste of money and major disappointment

I truly had such a beautiful stay at this lovely little hotel. Even though it’s not a big hotel, that’s exactly what made it so special it felt cozy, calm, and personal. From the moment I arrived, I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Everything was very clean and tidy, and I really appreciated that they cleaned the room every morning. It made such a difference coming back to a fresh space each day. The breakfast was also a lovely touch and a perfect way to start the mornings. The location is amazing walking distance to so many restaurants and very close to the bus station, which made everything so easy and stress free.

Breakfast was fine. There are few places to sit inside. Fortunately, the sun does shine well in Malta. Price quality is definitely recommended

The accommodation was as expected and was easily found, once I worked out to use the TD2 bus to get you from the airport! All the other reviews have it covered apart from the accommodation is up a hill, on a one way street where the front door opens straight onto the road! My unit had a kitchenette which was great for cooking evening meals, I had a problem locating utensils but making contact via the portal worked really well. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back.

Zzzing’s location was ideal—very close to many restaurants and convenient for getting around. The bus stop to and from the airport was only about a 5-minute walk, which made travel very easy. The place was clean, tidy, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to others.

Units are exactly as they appear in photos. Host is extremely responsive and helpful. Self check in was easy and the location is within 5min or less walking distance to nearby restaurants and a supermarket. Ubers have no problem coming straight to the door for when you make a trip outside of the area. Well worth the price for included breakfast and a shared rooftop! Would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely modern property, lots of great amenities including use of the rooftop terrace with a hot tub, and downstairs garden with a lovely pool. Breakfast selection was very good, and all the staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Luggage storage in the building for early arrivals and tea and coffee replenished daily in the rooms. The host was very responsive and helpful, highly recommend.

This is great little hotel, the staff is awesome, the rooms are great, the breakfast is awesome, I’d love to get in that pool in the summer, but it was winter. The only issue was it was very hard to get into. They have their own portal and they kept telling me to go into door codes on the main page. I never found it until the last day and door codes are under DEPARTURE! Impossible to find. I had to get codes by calling help line. They tried hard but needs work.

We enjoyed a lovely stay here. Excellent location, close enough to the bars and restaurants but further enough away to be quiet and peaceful at night. The room was cleaned and bed made each day which made it feel like a hotel stay, which was nice. The breakfast included had a good variety and a lovely area to enjoy it in. The house keeper (we forgot her name) while we stayed was welcoming, helpful and friendly and made the stay more enjoyable. The bed was very comfy and big! Hosts were helpful and quick to reply when we had any questions. The only small issue was the sensor in the room set off when moving at night which made clicking noises. But we found the electric board switch to turn this off

the building is amazing, stylish and clean. my room was the one with the typical balcony of the Maltese houses, perfectly restored and fascinating. in the room there is all you need: a tiny kitchen and a comfortable bathroom. the area is wonderful, Spinola Bay is just around the corner like the bus stops to go sightseeing around the island or to get to the airport. breakfast by the pool yummy and generous. fabulous!

The place was easily accessible. Check-in was very easy due to the code and possible at any time. The room looked like the picture and was completely sufficient in size and furnishings. Breakfast is also sufficient for the price. Overall, you can say that the bad reviews were not true, at least in our case, and we had a good stay.

Good location, close to the airport and the capital. The facility was clean - the staff made the bed every day, replenished supplies, emptied the bins and changed towels if necessary. Breakfasts were tasty, the same every day but the products were fresh. Easy check-in with a code. It's a shame we had a small window in the room overlooking the buildings. We also did not use the pool because the water was cold.

Great location, close to St Julian’s but super quiet. Easy to access self service check in/check out. Breakfast was handy. Decent value for a place with breakfast included and a pool. Only negative would be the cleanliness - it wasn’t terrible but the bedroom floor wasn’t that clean so we had to wear flip flops to avoid getting dirty feet and there was no mattress protectors which gave me the ick!!! Just mattress then a thin bed sheet. Pretty good on the whole though, enjoyed our stay

If you are looking for a relaxing stay, please DO NOT stay here. This was the worst experience my partner and I have ever had. The cleanliness upon arrival was not up to par and we had to request an extra clean/change of duvet cover (it was such an old duvet that it was rough to touch and itchy on the skin).. oh and the shower was still left dirty after this! The images on this site did not reflect that of our room whatsoever, we had a view that looks out into what I can only describe as prison cell vibes. Moving on to the best night of our stay (not) - there was an electrical fault and the power on our floor did not work for over an hour, a technician had to come and resolve the issue at about 1am. One of the rooms on our floor had a smoking socket from charging his phone.. as we feared for our own actual safety, we cut our stay short and had to book elsewhere. The only thing that stayed at Spinola was my regret.

The accommodation was clean and communication with the operators was also very easy. Location was perfect! But a big problem was that the cleaning staff, after being approached several times, kept forgetting to close the room door, which is why our room was left open for 8 hours. Anyone could have gotten into this room! I have mentioned this several times and they wanted to take care of it, but it kept happening. We felt very uncomfortable and insecure. If it weren't for the problem, everything would have been perfect!

lovely place to stay- pace was clean and the pool area is nicer than the photos show much larger pool with chill space, hot tube and roof top area also great 🙌 washing machine and dryer facilities were great they have thought of everything 😁 location is also fab- restaurants, bus etc only a few minutes walk away but as the accommodation is in a side street Thier is no noise once there. Over all was great experience staying at zzzing stay. The only thing that I didn’t like that I was promised a bottle of wine or a room decoration for my anniversary with my wife and that did not happen little bit disappointed in that. But over all they are good in responding if you are in difficulty. I was very pleased with they checkout stay as they extend my checkout stay because my flight was in the evening, we were able to stay around the building and leave our bags inside the luggage room for a very long time around the building. I give them ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location and place of accommodation was pleasant, a short distance from the center. The common areas and breakfast looked good. But the big negative was that the room did not match the photos, there was no window and daylight. The bathroom was small and the shower was difficult to get out of, and there was even a smell from the drain in places. The bed linen had stains and when the cleaning lady was in the room, she probably only made the bed, because nothing visible changed. There was also very little storage space, there was nowhere to put clothes (except for a few hangers) and they had nowhere to dry towels/swimsuits. The price of accommodation may correspond to the location in the center and breakfast, but certainly not to the room with amenities.

Enjoyed my stay here! The only small things that let it down was a few things in our room were broken. After telling maintenance they quickly fixed it but coming into a broken room was not completely ideal. We also asked for an extension lead which they did not provide. Other than this, it is a stunning place to stay, close to everything, clean pool / area, breakfast provided , friendly staff who change your towels everyday/ clean room. Communication with host is super fast and they even give you lots of recommendations of places to go/ things to do! Would stay here again.

This place was great , so central and easy to access , I’d recommend you keen walkers as very uphill and a few stairs to climb however not long of a walk from the waters edge . The pool and sun beds are amazing , staff are fabulous and friendly. Little blond lady would say good morning and good evening whenever we saw her she was very kind . Our room was replenished and cleaned every day and water and got drinks available every hour of the day . An amazing trip I would recommend this place to anyone !!!

Great location but up a hill. Room wasn’t clean (hair on the pillow, marks on the wall) and the shower/faucet barely worked. Codes failed and I almost missed my flight. Staff were responsive but mostly unhelpful, though one employee was very kind. Front door was broken, so not secure. For the same price, the hotel down the street had a Michelin restaurant — this place just isn’t worth it.

Very friendly and responsive prior to check-in. However had a few mistakes and communications problems with check-in. First we were given wrong codes, and then hosts briefly were unresponsive, then were saying not time for check-in, when it was already 20 mins past check-in time. Then had to call, and had been given wrong room number, codes etc. we didn’t get into the room until almost an hour past check-in time. However, past all that the room and common areas were really amazing and clean. And they accommodated us further with a late checkout which was really appreciated. Would definitely stay again!

Room had all the essentials. Host very responsive regarding luggage room, jacuzzi and cleaning arrangements. Please be aware that pictures of pool from inside are from the kitchen/shared space and not the standard room we had booked. Suites down the end of each corridor appeared to have pool view from window. We had windows in our room but there was no view, just looking out at other interior walls of the building. Location was excellent, very close to shops, restaurants and bars.

The accommodation is clean and well located in the city, close to everything on foot, as well as by car. The lady on-site is nice and available. The pool and terrace are nice. However, it is very poorly soundproofed, you can hear the doors slamming day and night, the sounds of the digicodes and people going back and forth in the hallway. No clothesline, no window... our clothes didn't dry during the stay.

I stayed here with my partner for a week and we absolutely loved it! I can’t fault this Airbnb—it was everything we needed and more. The location was perfect, just a 5–10 min walk to restaurants, swimming spots, a supermarket, and the bus stop. St Julian’s Bay is a great area with everything you need and easy public transport. It felt very safe, and the team was so helpful and lovely—quick to respond and always happy to assist. The place was well looked after; even without paying for room service, someone came daily to make the bed and leave fresh towels. We were worried the pool might be too small or crowded, but it was perfect—sunny in the mornings and peaceful. Breakfast had a good variety, though as someone who’s gluten-free, I wish things were labeled better. I brought my own options, so it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, this stay exceeded our expectations and made our holiday the best one yet!

Stayed in one of the apartments with my boyfriend, we was so happy with the rooms and the facilities! We loved the pool area and the hot tub was amazing. It’s in a great location which is beautiful and easily walkable to all the restaurants round the corner. The value for money is great I would 10000% reccomand. The staff are so friendly and the hosts replied very quickly and was attentive.

Only spent one night here, as there was a lot of mould in the bathroom and the whole room (you can hardly call it a room) smelled like it. The bed was also very hard. From the window, you could only look at a kind of shaft. Unfortunately, the communication regarding our complaint went quite badly. We were supposed to be moved to another room the next day, but the host never got back to us the next day, so we were forced to change the entire accommodation. Breakfast was fine. The pool downstairs was nice, but only equipped with three loungers. The hot tub upstairs is heated to 36 degrees. We would never book it again.

Smooth communication for check-in and friendly welcome. However, no response to reports of young people claiming the whole place at the pool with super loud music, accompanied by excessive alcohol and drugs. Despite camera surveillance, nothing was done. We wanted to relax by the pool but the last 3 days of our 1 week stay did not work. Good location, close to many restaurants and bars. We booked through Air BNB and the photos of what we booked did not match the room we got. When we asked about this, we were simply told that we had received what we had booked and that we had to ask further questions via the AirBnB site.

First of all, the location is fine, but taxi drivers could not find the address on the navigation system or, due to a road closure, the drivers had difficulty getting to one. The uphill path was also quite exhausting. The room was well furnished. However, our shower was completely mouldy and a shower door was missing. As a result, the bathroom is flooded every time. We also reported this to the landlord. However, the room was not changed. The dirty towels were also not changed every day, which forced us to put the towels in the hallway because the bathroom was so small. In addition, the whole room had a "basic humidity" which made everything feel pretty disgusting (despite air conditioning and ventilation). The breakfast was solid, but it was left unprotected and unrefrigerated on the counter for a long time. There are hardly any food options for vegans. But the lady was super sweet.

The staff were extremely nice and we got fresh towels everyday. There was a weird beeping noise from the keypad the first few nights but it stopped itself and there's a constant sound of flushing coming from the bathroom to note if you're a light sleeper. We stayed for a week and the only view is out a small window into the other rooms in the building. Location is perfect and check in and checkout was so easy. Loved that we were able to store our bags in the luggage room upon checkout due to our flight being later on in the day.

Not someone that likes to leave a bad review in general but in this case I must. To summarise, extremely noisy rooms, the apartment door malfunctioned and locked and unlocked itself continually through the night with an accompanying beeping sound. The toilet was also broken with there obviously being a leak or similar which meant continuous flushing and refilling of the cistern. Finally, dirt, dust and hair all over the floor. We therefore got approx 3 hours of sleep a night. We contacted the hosts as soon as we identified these issues and they were very unhelpful so we had to remediate through Airbnb…who weren’t much better to be honest. Ultimately, I would recommend finding somewhere else, save yourself the hassle.

The accommodation is very well located, tastefully decorated, and the access to the pool and hot tub is a real plus. Overall we had a nice stay. On the other hand, we were disappointed by an important point: we had been informed that breakfast was not included, to finally learn (less than 48 hours before the end of the stay) that we were actually entitled to it. Unfortunately, so we couldn't enjoy it. It's a pity because it would have improved our experience.

Everything was great in the apartment and in the house . The pillows were very uncomfortable, they responded very quickly to my arrival but I didn't get any new ones. The address was very unclear, taxi let us out above the school because he did not find the address that was provided. The streets were not well suited with two suitcases to get down. My first time there and I found very easy it’s a great location with lots of places to eat & drink , the accommodation was very clean and had all the immunities plus a laundry room for my convenience Lots of chose breakfast which the breakfast room op-ed over the pool area which again was very pleasant and clean . Overall the place is nice and worth the price. Breakfasts are nice, location is also great - quiet but still close to the center of St. Julian’s and Sliema. It’s also a good place to travel around the island from. There are parking places on the street in front - the street is really narrow (as many streets in Malta), but it was easy to find a place to park (in April at least). The only con of the place is the motion sensor in the room - when it detects motion, it turns on the electricity in the room. At night, whenever you move on your bed, there is a “click” noise of electric fuse being turned on and “beep” of the microwave. After couple of minutes of no movement, the fuse turns off with another click and turns on again when it detects motion… it’s really annoying. The host promised they will check how to solve the issue but did not get back to me with any solution. The work around it was to literally cover the motion sensor with a sock…

The biggest pro about staying here is the location. It is really close to restaurants, shopping, and cool nightlife as well as allowed easy access to Valletta and the rest of Malta/airport return. While it was ideally located and included a pool + free breakfast (all of which was amazing for the price), the place itself was merely alright. There was some old food left in our fridge when we arrived and late check out/luggage holding was not able to be accommodated which was unfortunate.

Thanks for a great stay! The host responded really quickly if you were wondering. The location of the stay is really good and it was a really short trip in all directions! Breakfast was good and varied, pistachio cream was the BEST! It was also amazing to have the room cleaned daily. It's like being in a hotel! I can highly recommend Spinola Stays! 🩷 The only drawbacks were a motion sensor in my room, which disturbed the dreams considerably until I realized to turn off the fuse. Then, of course, no other electricity was in use during the night! One night, there was also a fire alarm in the stay, which turned out to be unfounded, but I would have liked some kind of joint response from the host. There were no windows and no balcony in my room, so for a week-long stay, these would have been appreciated!

Loved my stay, I certainly highly recommend booking here! The building is spotless; the room is perfect, comfortable and the one with a kitchen is a real plus. The breakfast that comes included is very good, and the lady in charge of putting the food is very helpful and friendly. The only detail I can find is that the pool water was cold but still, it looked spotless to be used in another time of the year. If I go back to Malta, I will definitely stay here again :)

I would 100% stay at this b&b again. It was worth every penny and it was a suprise when we found the jacuzzi on the rooftop… absolutely incredible experience. The breakfast was so so good! It was very clean and they took care of any issues we had right away. Super responsive and accommodating.

I think that at this price is not bad, but there are a few shortcomings from the host, the apartment is practically not equipped with cooking utensils, I would treat it as a hotel room, very weak wifi. Plus always fresh breakfasts, minus only 3 breakfast tables in the kitchen, so in bad weather you have to wait for your place

A perfect entrance system is arranged and there is only the main door and the room with the code. Your process is completed without seeing any staff, but the door warning for cleaning seemed to be touched during the day. The kitchen, the bathroom was not arranged, the towels were not changed, only the bed was collected, I would have thought to this situation. The breakfast is very nice and peaceful, the pool is very good, but I couldn't use it in the cold. It is very nice that it can be used in the camasir machine in Catisinda. A very comfortable and well planned hotel.

Great value for money in march, st Julian was a brilliant location and walkable though we rented a car from the airport as that was the best idea we had and just explored most of Malta, with everything being no longer than 15-30 min drive. The b&b was lovely , though I would have been nice to have one of the back rooms with the bigger window as it felt a bit closed off. The room itself self though was lovely, the breakfast was nice with croissants and the pool area was beautiful. There was a jacuzzi. Upstairs , which we wanted to use but the same people where in there every day and no a lot of space for more than that, it also didn’t look to clean. Overall though the place was great and would highly recommend staying here. The host replied every time I had a question before and during the stay was great service. Only thing that was annoying was on our last day at 6am all the lights came on do to electrical and didn’t go off for over an hour , woke us up and we wasn’t happy.

Very flexible also in terms of arrival time. You will imagine yourself in a kind of mini hotel exactly what student body vibe with a kotmadem through the communal breakfast. Always friendly service. Breakfast was correct and nice that this was also included in the price. Room is also very well maintained and in order. Especially in the bathroom, it was a pity that a door or window was pulled out. As a result, the floor got wet while showering. Fortunately, you have a good service and you can have the bed linen and your floor mat refreshed every day. The service was very accurate. The rooftop jacuzzi was very nice but the bubbles no longer worked 100% everywhere. But very nice to spend time overlooking beautiful city. 😍 We went in March and were always alone there, which was blissful. If the door fell closed were on the terrace but there is also a code box to open the door outside on the wall. They work with codes for the doors and rooms which make it feel very safe. 😍 We enjoyed it!

Very good accommodation in a quiet area of the city. Just a shame for the arrival which was catastrophic and where I did not receive the code on time... so 1h30 wait outside without answers. Provide Kies balls if you want calm because unfortunately the door noises are quite disturbing. Otherwise the staff is very welcoming and kind, perfect and super good breakfast. I will come back without hesitation! I recommend despite a difficult start. Thank you so much!! ☺️

I booked it for a special occasion as my two year anniversary. I requested for a little deco and they did some cute deco! We had pleasant time in Jacuzzi! The breakfast was fresh. I enjoyed my little weekend time off even though I just live nearby of the stay but wanted to have a different experience with my partner! The view from rooftop Jacuzzi is nice as well! The host responded quickly to all of our questions and was really pleasant to communicate with. Breakfast was included and the location was good. There was no private parking, but free parking spaces can be found all over the street. We luckily didn't have problems with parking during our stay in February. The downside was that the floor of the room was quite cold. Also, there was no closet in our room, but we had a clothes rack. All in all, great value for money.

Great place to stay very close to lots of restaurants, shopping and the bus stop. The accommodation is slightly elevated, so you have to climb a few steps when arriving by bus. The rooms are small and nicely designed. The kitchen is well equipped and met our expectations. Big minus was the housekeeping, the floor wasn't even vacuumed or mopped during our stay, so it was very dirty after a week. The cleaners have always emptied our garbage and made the bed. Rooftop terrace and pool area are nicely designed and available for use. Unfortunately, both are missing towels. Also on request, no fresh towels were refilled. Breakfast is prepared on the ground floor and is lavish. There are only 3 tables inside, if these are occupied, you can sit on the terrace.

It is a very nice room. Just a pity that the shower only 1 door had the other one was missing. For the rest very neat and nice room. Nicely decorated. Host was also quick to respond if we had a question or needed anything. Room was cleaned every day. Just a pity that breakfast is very early until 10:30 a.m. would be a little more convenient but it can be understood that that is not possible.

We had the following difficulties that despite being flagged with messages to Hosts instantly , they were unfortunately not resolved . The heating in the room was not working , only for a moment . The water in the bathroom had no such pressure and there was switching to cold and hot water . Breakfast included in the price doesn't include enough items , but it's something you can start your day with a mood . The first day we went down for breakfast at 09:15 unfortunately there was almost nothing...while we know that breakfast is served until 09:30 . But what bothered us and is unacceptable is the response of the hosts who are in total 9 and we do not know which of them all responds is that they recommended us shops where we could have breakfast of course for a fee ... The place in general is clean , quiet , accessible, and with many nightlife entertainment options. As hosts ... impersonal !

We recently stayed at Spinola Stays by zzzing. The property is stylish and conveniently located a short walk from Balluta Bay. It’s also close to Paceville, perfect for nightlife, and well-connected to Malta’s Tallinja bus system for easy exploring. Our room was comfortable, though the bathroom felt quite tight. Unfortunately, we couldn’t use the rooftop heated jacuzzi for three days due to a lack of towels. We contacted the staff via chat (since no one was on-site), and they promised it would be resolved by the next day, but it never happened. While we loved the property’s design and location, the lack of responsiveness left us disappointed.

Beautiful rooms, the place looks like the pictures. The lady who is there every day for breakfast, cleaning, and co. Was a little annoyed in my eyes and you always have to tell her when to clean something or change towels. But she did it directly. We also had to ask her about the codes for the doors to the pool and rooftop, but otherwise everything was great

Had a wonderful time at this great airbnb, fantastic space and staff. Always on hand to give a helping hand, the location was super being only a 2-3 minute walk from loads of restaurants and easily accessible to the rest of St Jullians. Rooms come with plenty of information about Malta, restaurants, activities and clubs which was a great touch. The accommodation had a roof terrace (and hot tub) which we weren’t aware of which was a pleasant suprise and a great location to spend a little time before or after going out for the evening. A truely fantastic place, recommend highly!!

Beautiful home! The host was accommodating, they were quick to respond to messages. They offered us early check in and late check out. Easy check in. They have a luggage slot provided. Compliments on the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff! The breakfast was varied and delicious as was the setting by the pool. I commend the focus on the details: for example, they have an EU socket, clean room towels as well as for the pool, and a welcome drink. Highly recommended - great value for money!

Our flight arrived a lot earlier than check in and we were able to get in our room an hour before which was amazing, the place was easy to find and the amenities such as the community pool and free breakfast shocked us because the price we paid was not a lot at all, the staff were extremely friendly and always helpful and our room was extremely clean. The breakfast was amazing with warm pastries and amazing selections of veggies and meat. The location itself was incredible as only a 2 minute walk landed us in the middle of St Julian’s (McDonald’s 2 mins away!) everything was walking distance and the company were kind enough to provide detailed recommendations of restaurants nearby. I honestly could not recommend this place enough. Even though our room didn’t have a balcony (not an issue) there was a roof terrace and balcony free of charge with an amazing view. Honestly for the price you could not get any better.

We checked in at Spinola stays through self check in our night of arrival. The taxi wasn't sure exactly where it was but we found it ourselves very quick. Our room was facing the street but was very quiet all throughout our stay and the space between rooms made noise very little. The room and bathroom were so clean and the zzzing host was very helpful the few times we called. We could come and go as we pleased and had a wonderful few days exploring St Julians, Silema, Valetta and our boat trip to Comino to the Blue Lagoon. It was such a beautiful place with amazing food and sunshine. I would highly recommend spinola stays for how quiet, clean and accommodating it was 🌞

We had a very pleasant stay :) The host provided us with detailed access and location instructions and was online for questions all the time. Also allowed us to have late check out. We rented 1 double room equipped with a kitchen. The place itself is really tidy and cozy, modernly furnished. Breakfast was available and was served in a great common hall. Also pool is available, outdoor dining tables and rooftop terrace. Location is great, easy to find, the apartaments are quite close to St. Jualian's night life and also to 2-3 bus stops. However, the neighbourhood is quiet and keeps you distant from the city noise. Staff was really polite. All the place is equipped with accessibity facilities. Housekeeping could have been a bit better, when we entered the room the floor wasn't shining, however, the cleannes was satisfying. Overall it is an amazing place to stay during a few days vacation, deffinetely recommend it! :)

It was a great stay in a nice located area, nice village. However, the breakfast was different than in the photos, you had to arrive on time otherwise half was already up. The pillows of the bed were very soft, the rooms were noisy and the communication was nil. Everything was digital or by phone, no receptionist present. At check-in instructions, I had to ask (and so several guests) for room number and with check-out it was said that there were no public toilets present while that was the case. All in all, had a great stay but could be better!

I would like to mention, that the room I got had somehow problem with electric fuse board! About every hour there was very loud noise of triggering the switches automatically in electric fuse board and after that making very loud sound of beep and it was so frustrating, that I couldn’t sleep at night peacefully. I was there for 6 days and 5 nights, but after very tiered day of walking and roaming around, I just wanted have some hours of peaceful sleep and that what I didn’t get! When we travel, we are outside for whole day and we got Hotel or an Apartment just to relax for few hours and that what this place didn’t deliver! I tried to contact them many times, but they never responded, one thing I was hearing from their answer machine is “You are very important customer we’ll help you soon” but I never got help after hearing this sentence for more than half an hour, then at the end I just gave up! Complete disaster and unsatisfied with their service! (0/5 star for service)

I was positively impressed by Zzzing’s hospitality. The place was exactly as described in the listing. We had both a usable kitchen and a coffee maker with 4 pods, tea bags, and a kettle. The stove was working and so was the microwave oven. In the morning we were able to enjoy a small buffet stocked with both common products and local products. We really appreciated the room cleaning service and the friendliness of the staff, as well as the luggage storage service. The property is very close to the public transport stop and the nightlife area.

A good place to stay, right in the centre of San Julian, but not too close to the noise of the main streets. The only problem is the climb up the slope to get to the hotel. Great building, new and well kept. Good breakfast, but I think there should be a bit more variety (eggs, milk, a wider selection of fruit would be welcome). Still, breakfast is a good value for money. I would like to highlight one member of staff, whose name I don't know, but who looked after us on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday… as well as being friendly, she took great care to warm up the bread and croissants, and left everything clean and tidy. The others that served on Thursday and Friday, I was not so careful, unfortunately. Otherwise, a 4 out of 5!

A great stay at this property. We really enjoyed having everything we needed: a separate kitchenette, sheets and towels, kitchen utensils, etc. We particularly liked the terrace on the 4th floor for enjoying the first or last rays of sunshine. Breakfast was comprehensive and included Maltese specialities (the only downside would be that this service ends quite early, which is a problem when we are on holiday). Many thanks to the person who looked after it, who was extremely friendly. It was a real pleasure to stay at Spinola Stays in Zzzing!

Absolutely lovely location and property. Just had some issues at night with a persistent beeping noise where the lights were also cutting out. Made it very hard to sleep and it took a lot of coordination to get them to send someone to check. Even then this remained unsolved and so I was unable to sleep every night. There were also some major construction noises to the side of my room although I think this was in another building so to be expected. Aside from what is probably a unique problem, this airbnb has a lovely pool and communal area, excellent cleanliness and is situated in a great area. Good connections through to Bugibba, Valletta, Mdina and various ports. Breakfast was included too and for a very good price. Good views from the window and there was even a nice rooftop terrace that you can see out to the harbour from.

Lovely place, nice and clean and well-maintained. 5 min walk to Spinola Bay, 30 min walk to Sliema to get ferry to Valetta. Also close to loads of buses connected to everywhere in Malta (inc Valetta)

Room equipped with all the essentials for two people. We had breakfast in the outdoor area by the pool: the temperature was fantastic in early February!!! Excellent! There are steps at the entrance, but when activated, they turn into a slide. There is also a welcome drink 😊. There's a lift… great for those staying on the 4th and top floor. Each landing is furnished differently, and they are all very nice and welcoming. One evening, we cooked, and we managed very well with what was available: oil, vinegar, table salt and pepper in single-serving packets; pots, plates, glasses (including for wine!); kitchen roll; herbal teas; coffee pods; an induction hob; and a kettle. Well, I'd say it was great, except for one thing: there was no coarse salt for the pasta… Another thing a little strange... the electricity in the room only activates at the motion detection. So if you sleep completely still... the cell phone does not charge ha ha ha super stay .. recommended

The best airbnb we've ever stayed in. If I could, I would give it 6 stars. A hotel-standard room at a very reasonable price, with a fresh feel. Modern décor, daily room cleaning. Very tasty breakfasts. In the summer, the swimming pool can be an additional attraction. Great location – 5 minutes to the bus stop. The place is very well located (close to the centre of St. Julian's), yet it is quiet at night. Fantastic approach to the customer, customer service of the highest standard. Staff responds very quickly to any questions. Highly recommend!

According to the photos in the email listing, I was supposed to have a room with a large window, but I was given a room where the window looked out onto some kind of glass pane. Despite my request and my willingness to pay extra, I was ignored. The day before, I asked to be able to drop off my luggage, as my arrival was earlier than check-in. Although the owner agreed, I was not allowed into the building, and I spent several hours on the street with my luggage!!!

Great place, the host always answers questions. The room is very clean and equipped with a fridge, an induction hob, a kettle (tea is provided in the room), and a coffee machine (capsules are replenished if used). It's amazing that one of the sockets had a Polish plug. The other sockets had a USB port, which was also a huge convenience. The room also had air conditioning. The breakfasts on offer were absolutely delicious, and there was a huge selection. There were freshly baked rolls and sweet breakfast items. If I ever go back to Malta, we'll definitely rent a room here again :) I highly recommend this place to stay during your visit.

I really really loved staying here! The check-in was fast and easy and the host was quite fast to respond if I asked anything. The room itself was the cleanest one I’ve ever stayed in, thanks to the lovely staff. Everything looks quite new and renovated, it has a comfortable bed and a perfect small kitchen with everything you might need - even a toaster and a cooker. The location is great as well - the hotel is close to different cafes, shops, bus stops and places to go for a walk to. So our stay was definitely 10/10!

It was very difficult to find the accommodation, and when we finally got there, the door wouldn't lock. A lot of noise from the corridor enters the room. No view like in the photos. You received help fairly quickly when you called. And the location was very good.

The accommodation is in a convenient location, with everything within easy reach, but the street looks a bit scary at night. When you enter the accommodation, you feel as if you are no longer on that awful street but in a more pleasant place. Breakfast was excellent. It took the host a few hours to respond to messages. We asked zzzinga to extend our stay until noon, which they did free of charge, but then they called us from reception at around 11 a.m. in the morning to ask if we had checked out. Overall, a very nice place to stay, and I would recommend it to everyone.

I felt right at home. Great, fast internet. I was able to wash my clothes in the new, modern washing machine, and there was also a new, modern dryer available. The mattresses were great, everything was new, and the place was furnished with a lot of attention to detail. If I had any questions during my stay, I received answers straight away. A great place for a short getaway! In reality, the interiors look even better than in the photos. The room is very well equipped (kitchen utensils, hairdryer). A nice touch was the coffee machine, as well as the water carafe that could be refilled free of charge. The room was cleaned every day. The breakfasts are very good; there is something different to choose from every day. A big plus for the plant-based milk available for coffee. The building is quiet, the area is peaceful, and at the same time, it is very close to the city centre and restaurants. The only downside was the cold water in the pool, which was described as heated. Overall, I highly recommend this place. Great value for the price.

I enjoyed my stay more than I would have expected, because in my opinion, the photos don't do the place justice. First of all, the apartments are located in this large, very attractive and well-maintained building, which has a swimming pool, an outdoor area and a breakfast room available to guests. Then, potentially, guests can have their linen (which is also provided by the property) changed every day, as someone comes to ask if they need anything. What's more, although the apartment is small, it is equipped with every possible amenity and is very cosy, with a fully equipped kitchen. There are water dispensers on the landing, so there is no need to buy water. It is located in a very convenient point of the city and personally the automatic check-in and check-out service makes everything very flexible as well as very comfortable just the stay. Highly recommended!

Beautiful flat. Has everything and more we wanted, coffee machine!! I would say that it’s not the easiest to find. The building is not updated on maps, as it has been recently renovated. However this means that every little spot in the house has been thought of. The pool is immaculate (but we went in November), breakfast is a nice touch. And there’s a lift!! Not very common in air bnbs. Very central to st Julian’s, with fantastic restaurants, a beautiful bay, and great public transport to Valletta and Selima. Could not of asked for more.

We loved our stay here! Location is very good, around 20 min walk to Sliema and also there is the Ferry to Valletta (if it’s your first time in Malta don’t take a bus or car to Valletta, the ferry is very cheap and fast!) The room was perfect, comfy and clean. Breakfast was very good and convenient. Lastly, the Zzzing team is always available, communicative, very helpful and kind. The apartment was located in a larger complex with more than 12 rooms, in a lively area. Unfortunately, the place was not easy at first, as maps is very inaccurate here, but a local was able to help us quickly. The room itself is rather small (looks bigger in the pictures) but definitely sufficient and very clean. It was cleaned daily and made the bed. The pool area is very nice for the circumstances and was well used. Unfortunately, the breakfast disappointed us a bit, as there was very little supply of bread and cold cuts. We have therefore eaten outside several times. The complex is located in a side street to the active night district, but is quite quiet and relaxed. If you come with a rental car, you must adjust to close streets and finding a parking space, there is only resident parking in front of the apartment. However, if you want to stay locally, you are well advised here. We were happy with our stay.

Only downside, the poorly insulated room, we hear the back and forth from the other tenants, the front door slamming and the noise of the street every night.

Was honestly quite disappointed with the accommodation. Based on the pictures, reviews and the price I expected much more. The room smelled so much of mold that we could not stay there, we were upgraded for one night and then had to switch accommodations. One pillow had clearly not been washed and smelled terribly. The only window was tiny and high up, and facing a building wall. It’s possible we were unlucky with the room we got. The pool area was lovely.

The room was very nice and modernly furnished, thanks to the self check-in it was also possible for us to arrive late in the evening. The hosts always responded immediately in the chat and were very friendly. Location is good, just minutes from a very busy area, the house itself is in a rather quiet street. We only have one fairly big point of criticism: the room itself was tidy, only the floor was extremely dirty. When we came in, my black socks were immediately grey, as if they hadn't been vacuumed in ages. Otherwise everything is fine

I was in the property Mon-Fri with a friend. The room was clean and the small kitchenette provided everything we needed. Unfortunately, neither the towels in the bathroom nor the bed sheets were changed during the stay. Since the nights were very hot, that was a bit uncomfortable sleeping in the bed at some point. The staff were very nice and helpful. We were able to speak to them well in English.

So in hindsight, I think we had incredible luck with the location, as we didn't know Malta before, but it's within reach of the hustle and bustle and much more organized and cleaner, as well as quieter than the rest of the country. The place was really nice. There was breakfast every morning. That was not very plentiful, but it was perfectly adequate. There was also a pool. It was also super nice. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. Everything is kept very modern. Check-in can do everything on your own. You get codes for the building and apartment, so you can always get inside and out. There are also some bus stops near. It's a great way to get everywhere. A supermarket can also be reached in 5 minutes on foot. For young people, this accommodation is very suitable. For families, however, I would recommend it rather less, because it can be a little louder at night, as the accommodation is in the party virtel and there is also no playground or similar nearby. Our experience was more than positive. The host is super responsive and always available for any clarification. The room is very clean and comfortable. We found everything we needed. The pool area is very relaxing both day and night when you may want to take some relaxation after a day at the beach or walking. The cleaners were always very sunny and available. Very attentive to everyone's needs. Great location, close to all stops to reach various places in Malta e.g. Valletta, the airport. Paceville you can walk to Paceville on foot with a pleasant walk

All in all, the accommodation is very private, new and modern. Everything is clean and easy to handle. The location is central and yet somewhat hidden, even if you need peace and quiet. The only thing I would improve would be the service at breakfast during the week and the roof terrace was not accessible (secured by extra code). Absolutely top was the use of washer and dryer and access to the pool at any time:) We would check back in a Zzzing accommodation.

This is the best place to sleep in Malta! The area of nightlife is nearby, but you can enjoy silence at zzzing! Ivana is an amazing host, she will always help you with any questions! The pool is clean, the ac works perfect and the Wi-Fi connection is very stable.

Nice apartment but small and very little storage. The structure is very nice as well as the pool even if one or two umbrellas would be useful. The people on site are very cordial and helpful. Breakfast is the downside: the salt dishes were of low quality, very greasy( we would have liked to have found cooked ham instead of mortadelle and salami). These are details to help you improve your offer. We enjoyed our vacation at your place, although we were very surprised at not being able to leave our luggage in the structure after leaving the room and not being allowed to use the pool during this last day, as we have always been able to do elsewhere. Spinola Stays was a good accommodation and very convenient located. It is not a hotel in a traditional sense. There is no reception. Fully self-check-in. However, staff was there in the morning and partly during the day and whenever needed it was possible to reach someone via app or message. Requests were quickly taken care of. The room was exactly how pictured and with a kitchenette. Nice pool. Laundry and a terrace with a nice view over St. Julian's. Rooms could be a bit better noise-reducing, because with partying neighbors it can get a bit loud. However, all together I can recommend staying there.

The address and maps link is not very accurate, best to use the map in the Zzzing App where the location is marked. Communication was smooth when I had trouble opening my room door. Brand new renovated house with nice modern interior. The pool is lovely, but mostly occupied by young people (St. Julian's is a Party spot). The breakfast could be improved, but there are plenty of alternative spots around. Also a big supermarket and food hall is just around the corner (there is a tricky elevator system that you may use to get to the supermarket from the Lapsi Street and vice versa, just ask the people in the supermarket or foodhall). The location is in a calm street and the little terrace on the top floor is lovely to experience a city sundown. If you are young and looking for a nice place to stay that is your spot! If you travel with kids or for work not that much, at least in the high season.

Very good location to enjoy a holiday in Malta. Located on Spinola Bay and near Paceville, you can easily access restaurants and evening bars. The apartment is functional, with pool and washing machine. Beware of the rooms, we had a smaller room than we hoped to have, but it was clean and functional. Recommended Zzzing for the value and location!!

The property is in a great location, close to all nightlife venues like Paceville, easily accessible on foot. The room is clean, with two spare bath towels for 4 days. We found two coffee pods and a tea kettle. Responsive host for any questions or concerns. The shared swimming pool is beautiful, you just have to be lucky enough not to catch the partying teens, used only once. I would just change the mattress a little too hard. Otherwise perfect, I would come back!
