Self‑Check‑In, Eco Tax & Guest Portal:
This is a self‑check‑in Property. Your unique access code will be available in your Guest Portal once the eco tax has been paid and your Self Check‑In Form completed. Check-in time is 3PM but you are welcome to drop off your luggage if you arrive earlies. Check the Guest Portal for more info. Once your booking is confirmed, our Guest Experience Team will be in touch and you can choose your preferred way to communicate with us; our phone number is also available in the Guest Portal if you’d like to speak to someone directly.

Submitting your eco tax online:
Eco tax, in line with Malta’s Environmental Contribution regulations, must be paid securely via our online payment link before arrival. A secure payment link is sent to you upon booking confirmation. For a smooth arrival, we recommend submitting your payment on the day you book, so you can then complete your Self Check‑In Form and gain access to our Guest Portal to start planning your stay.

My experience was really, really positive. The real difference was the 24-hour support: always there, available and ready to respond to any need, making me feel looked after at all times during my stay. The room was beautiful, well-kept and welcoming, with a truly fantastic and very comfortable oversized bed. The only small negative points were the sofa, which was not particularly comfortable, and the drainage of the water from the sink and shower, which was a bit slow. Overall, however, an absolutely positive experience and a place I would recommend.

The room is spacious and pleasant, and not badly located in relation to the bustle of San Gilian. However, the facilities are very average: fridge in a cupboard that was hot / shower with no pressure / bathroom sink blocked and then no hot water / customer service is very responsive before and during, but as it's an AI, nothing is followed up and there's no one on site to talk to / place constantly lit. We went around Malta and unfortunately this was the most expensive accommodation but the least well-equipped... obviously for San Giljan it must be very good! This city is bustling and there are lots of young teenagers looking to party!

Staying at this hotel was a nightmare and the worst experience in Malta. Room in a terrible state – mould on the walls (health hazard). I was promised a change of room, but this did not happen; the mould was only partially removed. Outrageous situation: the staff threw away my personal pyjamas without any explanation or apology. To date, we have been unsuccessful in our efforts to recover our costs. Water problems – no drainage and very low pressure. The faults were supposed to be fixed, but nothing was done. The bed in the 4-person room was uncomfortable; the mattress was sagging – it was impossible to sleep. A replacement was promised, but it did not materialise. Fridge out of order. Breakfasts monotonous, no hot dishes, the taste of the coffee suggests the coffee machine hasn't been cleaned. There is virtually no contact with support – a bot provides the response. I would strongly advise against it – the standard is appalling, and there is a complete lack of professionalism.

The accommodation is in a very good location – quiet yet close to everything (nightlife, sights, seaside promenade). Comfortable room and helpful staff/owner; easy to get in. I would go back anytime.

I thought the place was perfectly described. You definitely get what you pay for and it is in a great location. The host was so responsive and incredibly helpful!
