HIGHLY RECOMMENDED We spent 3 days in Malta and the accommodation in Sliema was nothing short of perfect. Direct connection from the airport by taking the TD2 or TD3. Get off at the Miller stop and then it's a 10-minute walk to get there (we bought a book of 12 tickets for €19 as there were 3 of us; they are also valid for the airport bus). We had apartment number 4 and check-in was at 3 pm. You will receive a code to unlock the main door, and then at 3 pm you can enter the house with the same code. The accommodation is super clean and matches the description and photos; there is a hairdryer in the bathroom and also plug adapters, which unfortunately didn't work for us, so I recommend bringing your own. In 10 minutes, you can reach the seafront, where there are many bars and restaurants and where most of the boat trips depart from. Perfect value.

Lack of shower windows, broken shower, lack of shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. In the morning, we did not rest because the alarm in the apartment went off at six for an hour, and despite having communicated this, we had to call an emergency number ourselves. The host did not answer. The price was too high for the type of room.

A calm and spacious place, perfect for a comfortable stay for three people. The host was very responsive and replied to our messages within minutes. Everything was clean when we arrived, and we had plenty of essentials at our disposal, including clean sheets, fresh towels, toilet paper, and even bottled water in the fridge. The apartment was well equipped, with a coffee maker, an iron, and a hairdryer. It’s within walking distance of the lively beachfront restaurants in Sliema. We had a very pleasant stay. Thank you!

The cleaning lady was very friendly to us. They let us drop off our bags, but despite having the room ready, they wouldn't let us check in until 3:00 p.m.🫠 We had some problems during our stay, such as there being no hairdryer – we were told it would arrive shortly, but it only appeared the next day. Or the air conditioning wasn't working very well. Otherwise, they were very friendly, the accommodation was clean and in a good area.☺️

The room was great, with one double bed and another single bed. The flat was clean, and it has a smart TV in case you want to watch something on TV. The area is nice. We didn’t see much of it because we took a Bolt to where we wanted to go and we barely explored the area, but the port, which offers trips to Gozo and Comino, is a 10-minute walk away. The service is also very good; they respond quickly and try to help you as best they can. Given the price we paid and the condition of the room, I would say it is totally worth it.

Very nice accommodation in a fairly good area for walking, strolling, touring and having dining options, although it is somewhat far from the tourist centre of the city, it is nice to get to know the surroundings as well. The only thing that would be needed to improve the listing of the accommodation is to include more accurate and comprehensive photos of the place, that is, although it was not different from what we expected, with the photos we saw before booking, you can't really see the accommodation. Apart from that, which is nothing serious, the place was very clean, very beautiful, everything was new and we were treated with great kindness.

Overall this stay was okay. When we arrived it smelt badly of cigarettes and we soon noticed that construction work was going on outside the air b&b and was extremely loud each morning. A lot of things in the room were falling apart and needed attention. We needed the first aid kit for plasters which wasn’t well equipped. There was no hairdryer and the iron needed replaced badly. The location was great though for the price and the host very responsive

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME. Although this place is cheap there is certainly a reason for it.. Our flight got in to Malta at 7:00pm and had noticed the digital access check-in didn’t provide our door codes for the building and our room. We contacted the host and they couldn’t message us the code for whatever reason. We were then stuck outside the building for over an hour trying to get in contact with the host for our code but refused to send it to us so we had to get Airbnb involved. The host seemed to be very responsive to Airbnb but not us. Finally made it inside by 9pm and was greeted with a disgustingly strong odour of mould coming from the bathroom. Shower had black mould through it, you could see that they had just painted over the black mould on the ceiling and walls. Safe to say we left this hole the next day. It was absolutely putrid Don’t waste your time Don’t waste your money Spend the little bit extra for a nice place with a good, responsive host.

Our stay was a mixed bag. There was good communication from the zzzing staff themselves. The room was clean and spacious. However, what caused a real issue in our holiday was the door codes. The code didn’t work throughout our stay and every time we left and re-entered the house we had to call up the (24 hour) helpline. The helpline was mainly useful until we came back from a night out at 3am and had no response from the line and were locked out. Thankfully another resident was awake to let us in after half an hour. We also then managed to get locked from the inside of the accomodation the next day, causing us to miss a boat experience we had paid over £50 for. The helpline was rude and constantly ended the phone on us and wouldn’t tell us how long it would be until someone could help us. The aircon in the room was not very good- the room was still very stuffy and the hairdryer was broken. All in all, the room was good and in a nice location but ruined by trying to enter our own place.

I paid extra for this accommodation specifically because it included breakfast, but there was no breakfast provided. They refused to refund the money for this. Please find me another place to stay that is cheaper, because this is not worth the money. The house is located on a hill, which makes it difficult to climb up, and the air conditioner is very noisy.

The experience with the cockroaches in the room was horrible. Also, the communication was very poor, especially when they told me that the crew had come and dealt with the problem while I was there and no one had come. Then, of course, they admitted that they had made a mistake and no one came. Of course I left in the morning without anyone coming and I'm still waiting for my money back.

When we arrived the room hadn’t been cleaned. We arrived early and the host said we can’t do early check in since the room had to be cleaned in that time. The previous guest’s old sheets were everywhere and rubbish not emptied. They were quick to reply to the issue but when we asked for an update, there was no reply for over an hour. We were waiting with no response or solution, our plans had to be cancelled. We found out that it happened to another guest and the cleaner was with them but the host didn’t keep us in the loop so we had no idea if anyone was coming. The air conditioner had mould in it, the sink was leaking, and the hairdryer didn’t work. The hosts said they were sorry and would take it up to their management which didn’t result in further action so we agreed on a refund for one evening. But, they said that compensation requests had to be done through Airbnb which meant we had to get the Airbnb team involved. Overall, the stay was chaotic, DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Me and my 2 other friends stayed here for a weekend and it was in a perfect location! It was very walkable to a lot of different places and we felt really safe. It's difficult to check in as the lock is damaged ( we had room 4) so it took us a long time to enter the apartment and the host responded to my report after various times when we had already resolved the problem. Inside, especially the bathroom fixtures, appear fragile and not well mounted, especially the shower closure and sink faucet. Overall the room looked well cleaned and cared for.

Definitely worth the price, overall we were very satisfied. Everything was as expected: 15 min walk from the ferry to Valletta, very basic amenities and room, … no negative surprises at all. For the price you cannot expect everything to be completely new, so the toilet and the beds are slightly older. The WiFi and the electronics are very good and up to date. We were pleasantly surprised about there being adapters in the rooms. We do not recommend drinking the tap water, but there was luckily a big bottle provided upon arrival.

Overall, I would say - what you pay is what you get. I don't want to complain a lot about the apartment, as the price was more than reasonable, but there are definitely certain things that could be improved. Positive: Communication with the agency was smooth and they replied pretty fast, they allowed us to check in earlier free of charge, neighborhood is safe and the location is great. Negative: The room is extremely humid - to the point that our bedding was partially wet even though we aired and heated the room. The faucet in the bathroom is broken and the pressure in the shower is really low.

Comfortable place within walking distance to restaurants, the ferry, and bus stops. Check-in was difficult because we were given the incorrect codes, but the host responded to my messages and we were able to get in without having to wait too long. There was a problem with the TV and despite asking multiple ways to figure out how to make it work, it never turned on and we were not able to use it. The space was relatively clean, although some of the dishes were dirty and there was some trash that had not been taken out.

Due to a delay, we missed our connecting flight and had to quickly find accommodation. We found this triple room and thought it could be a suitable solution for the night. However, we encountered problems right from the start. Initially, the code to enter the room didn’t work. We called, and another code was provided. Once we entered, we realized that the apartment had not been cleaned after the previous guest. The sheets were stained, the bed was unmade, the kitchen and bathroom were dirty, and the towels had been used. Additionally, the bathroom wall above the shower was full of mold. We immediately called and sent photos.We were told that the room would be cleaned by dinner time but, when we returned to the apartment we found it in the same condition: it turned out they had cleaned the wrong room. They told us they could give us another room, but it was a double, so one person had to sleep in the dirty room. The customer service was kind, but afterward, they disappear and no answ

The place looked just like it was advertised. The hosts were helpful and the check-in was made by using codes(meaning we could get in any time). The accomodation is about 5 minutes from the beach, and about 8 minutes from the ferry station(to Valetta). I would definetly reccommend this airbnb. Exactly like the pictures, the neighbourhood was peaceful. The beds were very comfy. The only drawback was that weird smell like a laundry room but not very prominent as you get used to it after a while. Also very safe as everything worked with passwords is the building. For sure worth the money.

Zzzings place was exactly like the photos. But in our room there was a small fridge in the kitchen. This fridge had a disgusting smell, we couldn't even open it for seconds. When we arrived at the room there was smelly water on the floor in front of the fridge. We though it was from mapping the floor but the fridge was losing liquids from somewhere. We spoke with the zzzing and the next day they solved it. The only thing we didn't like was the fridge. All the room had a disgusting smell when we opened it for seconds. Also it didn't cool the things inside. We put at the first day some bottles and until the last one the water was hot. So the fridge didn't work. To sum up it was a good choice in Sliema. If there will be a new fridge we will be happy to visit it again. Thank you!

Place needs lit of maintenance: shower door are not sliding properly (they seem not connected) and if not careful they might fall (very dangerous). Shower has rust all over the border which makes it unsafe. Bedside tables are office drawers (not really useful). The light outside the door turns off as you walk in making it very difficult open the door when dark. The whole place needs maintenance

The house is in a very confortable position, close to the ferry to Valletta, to the bus stop and to the club area in St Julian's. The self check-in turned out very confortable because we arrived pretty late in the night and everything went smooth. The surroundings are quite and we felt safe walking around. Overall the whole experience was great, I would recommend!

We were really happy with the accommodation, it's simple equipped but you'll find everything you need if you're planning to spend more active time outdoors than chilling indoors. Especially the location is a big plus. The company-serivce was also really helpful and understanding so that we could extend our check-out time due to our afternoon flight. The only thing which was a little bit disturbing was the humidity but that's (I think) because of the season. All in all, we had a good experience and can recommend the place.

On arrival, the electricity in plugs have cut out. We messaged the host and in 24 hours they have not attended the issue nor did they try to solve it. They said they are reaching out to the owner (another one of those businesses filling their pockets and not being a home stay like bnb used to be) and then asked me whether it was resolved. Also the hairdryer didn’t work, as well as the heating wasn’t there so we were freezing at night. Wouldn’t stay again

The climb is very steep and the cleanliness was not bright. It was a bit of a problem at check-in because when I made the reservation I had asked if it could be done before 3 pm and they told me that the first time was 10, later (the day before) he told me that he had the wrong time to write and that it was actually at 3 pm so (since I arrived at 11 I had to stop and waste a lot of time that I could use to visit. All in all, the price offered was a pleasant place to stay

Very similar to a hotel room with the addition of a small kitchen with everything needed to prepare simple dishes or packed lunches/dinners; windowed bathroom with bidet and hair dryer. There is also a set of towels for each guest. Very convenient location: the accommodation is a fifteen-minute walk from the neighbouring centres. Ideal accommodation for dynamic people who don't spend much time in the apartment! Cleanliness is also good. We didn't miss anything! Definitely recommend.

Small studio for 3 people, the beds are comfortable, there are cabinets to store, it just lacks enough to spread the towels etc ( we used the chairs to fill). The space is sufficient for 3 people, the goal being to spend the day at the accommodation. There is air conditioning. Laundry with dryer shared by 6 units. The location is great, no need for keys, codes for doors and it's an advantage. I recommend it!

I find that the photos showcase the place that seemed less pleasant upon arrival. We were also surprised to arrive at a place that looked like a hostel. We regret not having found baby amenities (at least one bed) as requested and regret the lack of response from the property on this subject. Good points: room equipped with air conditioning, a TV with netflix (which does not always work), wifi, and very good location!

The room has all the necessary cooking equipment (hob, kettle, toaster, cutlery, crockery), dishwashing liquid, hairdryer, shower gel and shampoo, bottle of fresh water. However, there is no way to contact Zzzing, to ask for any kind of help or indication, they did not renew the toilet paper in 5 days of stay nor is there any place where it is available to take it to the room, nor are there kitchen towels to clean the dishes.

Thank you for a wonderful week! We had a great time. The accommodation is well located, party district, Valletta is easily accessible, 5 minutes walk from the harbour where you can travel by boat to Gozora and the Blue Lagoon with a budget-friendly price in organized conditions. The accommodation was clean, fully equipped, there was no surrounding neighbor during our stay, so it was quiet. (last night there were guests who were more noisy, but everything was as good as possible until then). We'd love to go back in the future!

The apartment was a bit dirty and on the first day it smelt really bad. We also expected more equipped kitchen. Location was okay, but the view from the window is kind of interesting :D For 2 nights it was okay, but I dont think that we will come back. However we appreciate the good and fast communication, and the coffee.

Price and performance are completely right here! The apartment is well located to reach all points of the island by bus. The room is simple and very spacious as clean Only the air was always very humid, so it was often stuffy and our clothes were always slightly clammy. For this reason, there was also slight mold in the bathroom, which was not particularly tragic. The shower is not getting really hot, but it is also possible to cope. At check in at night (flight arrived too late) there was an issue with the PIN of the room as it was not activated. After a longer phone call, however, this could be fixed. The apartment is recommended despite the small drawbacks due to location, price as well as proximity to shopping, restaurants and buses!

The room is located in a very sloped street and after a night out going up from the bay takes some serious energy. It is clean and has got everything that is needed for a good stay. There was a temporary issue with hot water but was fixed very fast and communication was excellent. Definitely advised for short stays of 2 to 4 days. The area is also very well connected with public transportation from the airport.

Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed. Always warm shower. Small equipped kitchen. Check-in with shared email codes, very comfortable and functional. Quite convenient location for everything, about a 25 min walk from St. Julian, 10 min walk from bus stops to main destinations.

It is an accommodation with everything necessary for a quiet stay in Malta, very clean and well located. We had an issue because we needed an adapter for the charger and they resolved it very quickly and kindly. We would definitely come back.

It was a nice stay and the apartment is as it appears on the photos. However there are labels in the apartment informing you that the host will charge 35€ if the dishes are not washed or 20€ if any of the towels are damaged

super simple room, get what you pay for. clean, good location close to lots, easy to find (I am biased as I spend a lot of time in Malta). shared laundry facilities are handy. check-in is super easy and simple. key codes so don't need to worry about keys. perfect for what I needed for this trip. will definitely be interested in staying again

Very comfortable and clean room, exactly like in the pictures! You get all the needed commodities - air-conditioning, TV with Netflix, microwave, fridge, even a bottle of water for the day of your arrival. Contact with the owner was very fast and unproblematic. Definitely recommend!

My partner and I had a great stay here. Everything was as listed online. It’s an amazing location just a 5 min walk from the seafront and there’s lots going on around. Our AC wasn’t working but they got a technituon straight in a fixed it that day.

Super comfortable but we didn't really have a hot shower. I personally didn't find it disturbing, but if you like a hot shower, it can be annoying. Everything else was perfectly fine !

Spacious flat with secure entrance situated in a good location (around 10minutes walk from the waterfront) Good amenities: laundry with washing pods, coffee, common area... To be noted: the flat is situated on the third floor with no lift. Will also get very hot (there is A/C in the flat but a bit tricky to figure out) Other than that, good flat to use as a base to explore the island, would stay there again!
