As first time visitors to London we wanted to stay in a suburb and live like locals for a week. This property was the perfect place convenient to the Angel tube and walkable to everything we needed. The property itself was spacious enough for 2 and was very well kept. We would choose this property and location when visiting London again.

This was my second stay in this building and the first in this specific flat — I won’t hesitate to return. The flat is comfortable, smartly designed and well-equipped, and the Angel location is super convenient, with lots of supermarkets, restaurants and other amenities at your doorstep. The team was friendly and quick to respond as well. Great experience overall.

We really enjoyed the 3 days we stayed at the apartment. The area is perfect if you want to escape the centre and experience what it's like to live like a true Londoner for a few days, while being very well located to go anywhere by metro, bus or on foot, if you like to get to know the places on foot :) The apartment is perfectly clean, it is true that in the bedroom area everything is very tight (there is a closet that could be removed or put in the living room and would give a little more space to the bedroom) and the bathroom is small, but it is not a negative point, it is simply to be aware of it. Communication with the owners was great, when we arrived there was a small problem in the bathroom and they came quickly to fix it. in short, highly recommended!

Absolutely wonderful. The apartment is clean and stylish and is spacious. It is bright and quiet. It has a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The host was communicative and accommodating (they allowed us to check in a bit earlier so we could drop off our bags and start touring London). It also is perfectly located. Just two minutes walk from the buses and the subway station. Angel and Islington generally is great area to visit and gives you a real feel to what living in London is like outside of the touristy areas.

We loved the nicely decorated place with the quiet bedroom and extra upstairs bathroom. Perfect for two people. We also loved the location in Islington, near the canal walk and the many cafes, etc. The hosts were very responsive and gracious in answering all of our questions and veryhelpful when we left a nice jacket behind.

Very small space but well equipped and nicely furnished. Great location! Very handy having the second bathroom/laundry just up the stairs. Small things- shower heads weren’t great and the big splits in the floorboards (must be hard to clean) and had a lot of random dirt and things in them. We fit a small portacot in the bedroom (almost in the doorway) but it was tight.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Loved the design and overall feel of the space. Perfect for one or two people. The washer/dryer was down the stairs but always free to use. The kitchen was good for cooking. Overall would stay again and recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent accommodation.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. Definitely on the smaller side, so ideal for one person, or two for a shorter period of time. Location is great, an easy walk or tube to most of the highlights of London. Close to supermarkets and restaurants. Would happily stay again, and recommend to others .

Lovely apartment with all the amenities you need for a short stay in London. Excellent location, a couple of mins to Angel tube on the Northern Line and a 20 min walk to Kings Cross St Pancreas. Walking distance around Islington high street with lots of great cafes, pubs, shops etc. Definitely on the smaller side but typical of London. Clean, great kitchen and easy to access with self check in!

This flat in London is a short 3 minute walk to the Angel Tube Station which makes it accessible to everywhere quickly without the major price tag of staying closer to the city center. We greatly enjoyed staying here for 5 days and would recommend it for a couple visiting London. While the bedroom is definitely a little tight the living area fits the description and everything was comfortable for us.

Stylishly decorated Georgian house, feels like a hotel with a kitchen! Super close to great shops and restaurants super accessible to London transport. It is on a main road so if you’re sensitive to noise the traffic can be heard in the living room but muffled in the bedroom. Host was lovely, flexible and responsive. We enjoyed our short stay.

For a single traveler, this place would be great! Unfortunately there were two of us, and so the smaller-than-expected bed ('UK King', not standard King) and +/- a foot of space on one side and the end of it made for uncomfortable nights and unsafe maneuverability at night. The single fan provided was helpful in the heat and humidity of July/August, but the refusal to provide a second was less than helpful when one of us needed to rest and the other was in the living space. Overall it was fine (great location, easy to get around, close to my friends' house so I could see their new baby easily, etc.) but I did not feel like the listing photos (and the careful angle/lens use) accurately reflected the true size/scale of the space and the host, while very responsive via messages, was dismissive of issues. If you're traveling alone and are wanting a place to crash at night, then this is great. If you're traveling with a partner and are looking for a relaxing place to rest, maybe not.

The apartment is very cute and well appointed and the location was perfect - 3 min to the Angel tube station and in a very charming neighborhood. There was a full size fridge, tall ceilings, and a second bathroom. The bedroom was tiny and there was almost no storage for clothing. The ad listed a "dedicated working space" which we were relying on and turned out just to be the kitchen table. We were two people sharing the space for 3 months and it was a challenge to fit our belongings in the space. For a single person or a shorter stay, it would have been lovely.

Stayed at this apartment for about 3 weeks as a work holiday. The location is in a fantastic spot, near the Angel tube and bus stops as well as an array of restaurants and grocery stores! We were in a safe area and felt comfortable walking around at night. Since we were near the tub and bus, it made touring in the morning very easy. The interior is beautifully designed; only call out is there isn't a closet or microwave. However, we ended up being fine! It was good for the amount of time we stayed. We would definitely go back or even try staying at the other locations. Additionally, the host was responsive!

Great neighborhood and space. James was so kind to give us options for leaving our luggage in the apartment prior to check-in. It is, of course, a small space, but completely in line with the neighborhood and price.

Nice apartment in a great location to explore London. Easy check in and communication with host, and lovely space. Worth noting for longer stays that the bedroom does not have a wardrobe, but everything else is perfect.

Had a great stay for a week at James's place. The apartment is spacious, well laid out and very nicely decorated. The second bathroom was very convenient to have as well. The location is very nice in terms of nearby attractions as well as Tube stations and bus stops. James and his team were very responsive to requests. Would happily stay there again next time I'm in London.

Flat 2 is very cute and makes the most of its efficient size. Being on the Parlour floor it’s smaller than other units in the same building and is more appropriate for a shorter stay or for solo travers. The flat does have a second bath that is up a half flight of stairs, but it wasn’t very practical to use aside from extra storage/laundry facilities as it was cold while we were there and lacks any power outlets for your bath appliances. The kitchen and its offerings are sufficient although the nespresso machine is the only coffee offering which we are not the biggest fans of, but we’re American so maybe that’s just us. A French press would be a great addition. We also wished there was a tv in the LR but it’s only in the BR, so not the best for days or nights spent at home. Nonetheless the flat is cute and charming. The flat is very close to the Angel tube stop and is walkable to trendy East London neighborhoods of Shoreditch and Clerkenwell, and the walk along Regents Canal to Dalston is not to be missed. It would be nice if they provided a guide to local restaurants and sights - we loved Bellanger’s, Trullo, and The Green in Clerkenwell. Lots of great shopping and dinners in Shoreditch.

Clean and tidy. Small bedroom and bathroom. Didn’t use separate larger bedroom. Good for weekend rather than longer stay. Excellent for Angel train and bus. Easy walk to Regent Canal

If you are worried it’s on a Main Street, don’t be…just put the shutters across the front windows and you dont hear a thing ! Very comfortable. We will use your place every time we visit London

We enjoyed our stay at the flat. It was very clean and well located. The host was very responsive throughout the stay as it was very warm the first night and he arranged to have a fan brought the same day. There is however no microwave which would have been useful as there are a number of great places to eat close by and we ended up with leftovers sometimes so it would have been nice to have. Other than that and a slight mixup at checkin with an incorrect code, the flat suited our needs. There are extra towels in the bathroom on the landing which was great. We would stay again!

This boutique-hotel style flat ticks every box if you're looking for a pretty central location (with numerous bus routes 2 min away), good shopping and loads of restaurants close by. The flat is very light - which when isolating upon arrival is vital! Bed super comfortable and the small ensuite has a lovely new shower. Wifi was super fast. James was quick to respond when need be. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for 3 weeks and had a great stay. It was well setup with everything we needed for a longer stay. The kitchen is great for cooking, wifi was very fast for working from home. The location is also great with lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and very central. The only thing I would say is the flat is a bit compact and en-suite is very small but there is a larger private bathroom upstairs which was good and had a washing machine. Overall would definitely recommend!
