I almost never leave reviews, but these dudes asked me not to leave a review to let me out of a really bad stay and that didn’t sit right. The good: place looks great and in great hood. The bad: super noisy from the street as the windows are not sealed and very thin, I found the bed old and lumpy and springy. The Main Street is an emergency services corridor so you’ll likely hear sirens all night. Also the doorbell went off a few times during the night and it’s LOUD. Also the pans in the kitchen are have seen better days. To their credit, they were responsive, but I ended up paying for an extra half night to get out of the rest of my stay, not cheap at these prices. And then they said don’t leave a review. Not cool. If it’s a quiet night and you don’t mind a bad mattress, go for it. If you need sleep, skip it.

The Property was spotless, great amenities, perfect for a stay in central London. Looks exactly like the photos. Super convenient to walk to Angel Underground Station. Multiple supermarkets near by. 100% would stay again.

Excellent Holiday season stay...great location for accessing mass transit to all the sights of London. Very comfortable apartment with everything we needed. Host was very responsive. Great restuarants and supermarkets nearby too.

The location of the place is very easy to get to from London Heathrow. It's a few minutes walk to the train station that gets you to all the tourist destinations. The inside: Once you are inside the building you do have about 4-5 flights of steep tight steps to get up too. So if you have anything more then a carry-on bag, this probably isn't the place for you since there is no elevator. The space itself is great for 2 people comfortably. Not a good place for anyone over 6ft. My poor husband hit his head a few times. The bed is not a US king bed. More of a Queen/Double. There water pressure is not strong, but it remains hot. There is no handle bar in the shower so please be careful, the shower pan can be slippery. So there is a lot of noise. Even at night. My husband who is a heavy sleeper was woken up many times at night from cars speeding and police/ambulance sirens going off. Outside of those things, We did have a nice stay.

Great flat in a very accessible part of the city. A few short blocks from the Angel metro station and surrounded by markets and restaurants. The whole city is at your fingertips! The apartment was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. Check in and communication were top notch as well. There are a few flights of stairs to manage, but nothing too difficult. Would stay here again!

My friend and I had a great stay. The apartment was lovely, clean and as expected from the pictures. Location is great for access to Angel and its tube station. It is on a busy road. Noise was absolutely not an issue if you’re just sleeping in the bedroom as it’s on the back, but we visited on possibly the hottest weekend of the year so one of us slept on the sofa bed and we needed the windows open which made the living space quite noisy. Otherwise, a great stay!

Overall, great location and attentive communication from the owners. The only reason it isn’t a perfect 5 is because of the stairs needed to get to the room. If you’re okay with stairs, then no problem at all. Other than that, the staff were accommodating and went above and beyond regarding any questions we had along the way.

We really enjoyed our stay in Islington! The location was phenomenal with an easy walk to the Angel or Farringdon tube stations and lots of very accessible bus routes right outside the flat. It was incredibly clean and well furnished! Lots of espresso pods and clean linens. The biggest downside to this space would be the lack of air conditioning. There were two fans and the windows open wide, but considering we were there in the heat of summer it was still stuffy at times inside. The noise wasn’t bad in my opinion but it’s not a bad idea to travel with ear plugs because it’s loud in most flats in the city. The last minor thing is that you do have to climb probably 3 flights of stairs to get to the flat so just important to keep in mind if you’re older. Our original flat cancelled last minute and the owners/company communicated very well! Would absolutely recommend, especially considering how spectacular the location is!

This stay was excellent! The host was extremely responsive and made my girlfriend and I feel right at home. It was especially nice to have the host allow us to leave our luggage in the flat before our official check-in time after our long overnight flight from Boston. That was very thoughtful and we appreciated it very much. The location here is also ideal. Islington was an excellent little area of London with access to the tube, cafes, and beauty. My only feedback would be to add air conditioning! We were a bit hot during the day and at night, which made sleeping a bit difficult, so would recommend checking on that for guests to make sure you're ok with that if visiting in the summer.

Loved the property and the area. They were very open about the stairs - and there are many if you have heavy bags. We had an issue with a door handle falling off and it was dealt with quickly. Shower pressure is terrible. Something really needs to be done about that. Otherwise we loved it very much.

We loved this rental in a fantastic location! Our communications with the host were very easy. When we got home to the USA, we realized that our daughter’s favorite gray kitty plushie was missing, and the host found it and mailed it overseas back home for us! Couldn’t be happier with our experience!!

This is a very central location a few minutes walk from Angel tube station. The apartment is well equipped for four people - full kitchen with dishwasher , coffee maker and washing machine. The bedroom is very quiet and has large TV. Highly recommended for a trip to London.

Great place to stay, I'd love to come back. The bed is nice and wide, as is the duvet, so it also works well for two. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and has everything you need. There were also books, guidebooks and a Scrabble. There is also a washing machine and ironing board.

Great accommodation - cozy, super close to Angel Station, responsive hosts, I would certainly stay again. Has a wonderful time and experience there. (Just a word of warning for those who struggle with stairs or are travelling with a lot of baggage, the stairs might be too much for some.)

We had a great time here! We were mostly out and about, but everything was very clean and nice. It was awesome that they had a nespresso with pods, too - nice touch and super handy when you're traveling and don't have time to buy coffee beans!

Wonderful stay in the top floor apartment right near Angel station. Amazing communication - helpful and very efficient replies to any queries. The place is homely with everything we needed. we stayed 5 weeks and would have extended if it was free. Would recommend 🙂

This is a beautiful Airbnb—the space matches the photos, is clean, and is very comfortable. The house is on a main road, but plenty of cute spots are within walking distance, and the tube is less than 5 mins away. Check-in was super easy, and the hosts were great at communication. I will keep this location bookmarked for a future trip to London.

Really cute flat in a great location. We arrived a bit early and the host was very flexible in letting us drop off our luggage early, which was super helpful. It’s really close to the Angel station and the area is great. The flat itself was beautiful, with lovely hardware and furniture. The only thing was lack of shampoo/conditioner for the price, so make sure to bring. Thanks so much!

The place is cute, nice and a there are a lot of details to discover. Like the cute modern, yet old looking radio. The place is located in central London, in a vibrant and a few minutes to public transport, lots of restaurants and grocery stores. One thing to watch out for, it is located at the 4th floor. We had a good time at this place, and made some good memories.

Love love loved this place, and James was fabulous! Great communication, easy to find and get into the flat, super clean w extra pillows, blankets, and fans. Absolutely perfect. One thing to note - it’s on the 5th floor w no elevator, so not for people who can’t take the stairs. But that’s all! The place was so wonderful. Thanks James!!

Heavenly! Each time I come to London I stay in Angel, it’s my favorite part of town. This is by far the best flat I’ve chosen in the area. It’s 2min from the tube station, it’s gorgeous and airy, beautiful layout and building, although it on a Main Street the bedroom faces the back and was so quiet. James helped us check in early because of our morning flight and was so communicative. Can’t wait to be back!!

Had a great time; location was nearby the northern underground line (4min walk) and offered easy access to many of the locations one would visit during a trip to London. amenities where thoughtful and only want to warn that this is on the 5th floor, so need to walk up a few flight of stairs when going/arriving.

We enjoyed very much our stay. The location is very close to both tube and bus stations. In the neighbourhood you'd find pharmacy, supermarket, coffee shop and everything you'd need. The flat is located on 5th floor with access via stairs, the stairway has been decorated with carpet and paintings on the wall, make it pleasant to climb. The flat is very well equipped, and James and his maintain person Barrie and the cleaner are very responsive and helpful.

James’ home was beautiful and well designed! We loved the finishes — every detail was thoughtful. It was cozy for three adults with the fold out sofa, but it would be the perfect place for a couple. One thing to note is there are quite a lot of stairs to take to get up to the apartment.

The perfect apartment for a stay in London, in a great location in walking distance to scores of restaurants, shops and cafes in Angel. Subway is nearby, and even though the house is located on a major road, the bed room goes to the back and is quiet. Be prepared to walk up to the 5th floor on rather narrow and steep stairs, but it is worth the climb. Beautiful design, very stylish and cozy at the same time. I will definitely be back.

This airbnb was such a lovely place to stay. We booked very last minute and found the apartment even better than the pictures. Comfy bed, nice view out the cute top floor windows, heated bathroom floor (so fancy), and situated in a lovely neighborhood. I will definitely stay here again!

We really loved James’ flat! The little touches made it feel so comfortable and welcoming (heated bathroom floor, nespresso machine, board games and books, and wonderful smelling candles). James is so easy to communicate with and is lightening fast in responding to all messages. The flat is on the top floor and beautifully decorated, close to Angel Station, and so close to many delightful coffee shops, restaurants, and small theaters.
